Dear Mr. DeVries,
I hope this message finds you well. As CEO of the company, I am sure you are not regularly involved in these kinds of issues, however, I find that my situation requires the highest level of attention.
My name is Mary Lee Powell-Cole, I am a senior citizen and a disabled veteran. I have been a loyal customer of ADT for over five years. I had originally requested the installation of a doorbell camera and outdoor cameras at my rented property located at 323 N 69th St in East Saint Louis, Illinois, 62203. Unfortunately, the equipment was not functional or remotely operated, and installation was not carried out as per my request.
Despite multiple attempts to make contact and communicate my displeasure with the service, the company did not address these concerns. Therefore, I decided to cancel my account on the 4th of October 2022, and subsequently returned the equipment on the 5th of October, 2022 (please find the tracking label attached).
I was surprised and deeply concerned when I received a bill for $4000 a year later, the stated amount being for the equipment and services I did not receive. I have contacted the customer service section with this matter, but no one was able to assist me.
I have always prided myself on being an honest and responsible consumer, and the current situation is distressing. This delinquent amount is currently reflecting in my credit report, and moreover, I simply don't have the financial capacity to bear such a hefty liability for services I didn't receive or equipment I returned.
I am reaching out to you with a deep sense of injustice. As a senior citizen and a disabled veteran, I feel taken advantage of. I am hopeful that you will help resolve this matter promptly and treat this as a high priority, as it has already been prolonged to a great extent.

Desired outcome: I want a credit that show the cameras were return on my account and remove negative report from my credit report. I would like an email showing my account has been cleared and updated. I would like to hear from Mr. Jim DeVries.
