Here's a question for you, how difficult is it for a physician or the physician's assistant, nurse, or whomever works with Dr. Greene to call in a prescription?
Well, at Northwell physician partners in Lynbrook, it appears to be extremely difficult.
No, I don't know if the Physician's Partner in Lynbrook is part of Northwell, or an agent of Northwell, or totally controlled by Northwell, but the people there and their ability to communicate, in simple terms, sucks.
Northwell & Greene were quick to take my money, but to complete the services for my health care is where I find you folks totally lethargic and apathetic, which is now causing me discomfort.
My complaint is directed to urologist, Tricia D Greene, MD, her nurse, and her secretary who I met with today who quite candidly didn't give a damn. How dare I come to their office and complain?
Why did I meet, and why did I go to the Lynbrook office? Because you can't get anybody on the phone, and the ability to directly communicate with that office on the phone is beyond difficult.
It is my intention to file complaints about Dr. Green to the various agencies that handle complaints of medical professionals, and I've already started writing negative reviews about Dr. Greene, Northwell, and the Lynbrook office.
My bottom line is it really would be professional after six months if Dr. Greene had taken over my prescriptions for Tamsulosin and Finestra from the urologist that was handling me prior to my getting involved with Greene, as she and I discussed in my initial visit with her.
Why do I say it took six months? Evidently, the prescription on file from the previous Doctor, fortunately ran until the refills expired, which is now.
When I ran out this past Friday, I called CVS and was told there are no other prescriptions on file for the two medications that I need from Tricia Greene. It was the weekend, so there's nobody to call. I tried calling today but you can't get through to anybody at that office, so I was forced to pay them a visit. Greene's secretary started talking down to me, which was totally unacceptable, then she brought me into the manager, a Mr. Cruz, who was also a belligerent Northwell employee and totally useless. Mr. Cruz suggested if I want help to call or write Michael Dowd! A real smart-[censored].
Bottom line, I still don't have the medication which was part of what I paid for when Dr. Greene took me on as a patient. It clearly is her responsibility, but she dropped the ball.
In closing, is there anything you can do to get Dr. Greene to do what she is required to do, or is this how Northwell operates, apathetically, or am I just totally screwed until I can find a competent urologist who know how to call in a prescription?
Absent an immediate remedy, I will commence a small claims action against Dr. Greene to be reimbursed for what my insurance company paid, and for my portion of the bill. Maybe spending two days in District Court will help her other patients get better treatment than was afforded to me.

I had a cystoscopy with biopsy done by Dr. Tricia D. Greene in Clifton, N.J. and 4 weeks later I am still in pain, why she biopsy a perfectly healthy normal bladder is beyond me...I was never told I would go home wearing a foley catherdra bag to urinate in for a week, she made me believe this was a simple procedure that she normally does it in the office, but I was sent to the hospital to have it done...she never returned my call the next day after the procedure was done, prior to having this cystoscopy done she would make faces and lose her patients & roll her eyes while I was asking her questions about this test that I never really needed, she over prescribes test, it's been one nightmare after another, I wish I never stepped foot into that office, when I only went there for freguent urination...
Glad you had a good outcome with this Dr. Greene but I didn't...
RK, No I wasn't mistaken in anything I said in my previous post, when I told my experiences that I had with Dr. Tricia Greene you weren't there, I was describing my own experiences that I had with her and how I was prescribed an unnecessary invasive test that I didn't need...even the Doctors in her office said it was an over kill on what she done to me and that they said there were other less invasive test she could have done FIRST...
I recently (2011) had a radical prostatectomy performed by Dr. Greene for prostate cancer. Never in my life have I met such a truly caring and sincere doctor. She spends an extraordinary amount of time with her patients, answers all questions, carefully explains things, and makes you feel that you are a part of her life! She loves what she does and it surely shows. About one month after my surgery, my brother-in-law was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He was very unsure regarding his course of action and I recommended that he just simply meet Dr. Greene. Within minutes after meeting her, he was sure that he wanted Dr. Greene to be his surgeon. I can honestly say that he feels the same as I about Dr. Greene. We both consider ourselves very lucky to have had Dr. Greene as our surgeon!
I have to totally disagree with you, you must be mistaken. I've dealt with alot of doctors in my lifetime. Never met a doctor like Dr. Tricia Greene who is as caring and sensitive to her patients needs and looking out for thier best interest. I experianced a very traumazining experiance with a kidney stone, that wasn't passing on its own. Dr. Greene did an excellent job removing the stone surgically. She also did her follow up calls to see how I was doing, I felt I was getting the best care from Dr. Tricia Greene. The one thing I do know and love about Dr. Greene is, she does NOT do unnecessary testing if she felt you didn't need it..

But I needed to make this comment about my experience with Dr. Tricia Greene. I'm very happy with my uroligist, no complaints

I went through the same thing with another Dr. and found out I was constipated and it pushed on my bladder and caused me to have to urinate alot. The nurse put iodine on me after I had told them i'm allergic and caused me alot of problems.. A long story short, if she did something wrong make sure you get a copy of all your records from them. My records came up missing all of a sudden. When you call or go in to get them dont say anything negative or that your getting them because you feel the Dr. messed up or they might not give them to you. Good luck!
