It's been 80 hours since my test and I still haven't heard from Aegis/Labcorp
It's been 80 hours since my test and I still haven't heard from Aegis/Labcorp. I suggested to Medicare that they reconsider their partnership with Aegis due to their lack of reliability. I believe everyone should voice this to their insurers to encourage change. This situation is reminiscent of companies that fail to keep their promises. I've had 8 PCR tests from various providers with prompt results, except from Aegis.
Don't trust Aegis for your Covid test
Don't trust Aegis for your Covid test. I did a Covid PCR test at a clinic and it was sent to Aegis Labs. The test needs to be done within 72 hours before travel. They promised overnight lab delivery, but after 3 days, there's no update from Aegis. Repeated calls for updates led to responses of the test not being processed yet. Missing the 72-hour window makes the test futile. We were forced to take an expedited test at urgent care to proceed with our journey.
These guys lost my test
These guys lost my test. They told me the number I was given was wrong. Then they gave me a new number, but the test never came. It's been almost two months. We've been emailing back and forth, and I've called three times, but no one has responded. The people at Aegis Labs don't even say sorry. No one is responsible. It's weird that I got two numbers but no results. Do they get money from the government for these "free" tests? My information is now at risk, and Aegis will hear from me again.

I took a test on Feb 10, 2022. The Aegis patient portal website didn't work. First, the website said "Sample *** was found and testing is complete. Enter the following as they appear on the requisition." After entering the information, it said "System alert: Requisition not found." I tried calling someone several times. I called *** and they directed me to their website management department, who sent me to Aegis with a phone number that was their insurance billing department. I'm very disappointed with *** and Aegis. I would tell everyone not to waste their time. I'll contact Medicare to let them know the job wasn't done.

I got a ua done. I never got a bill. 2 months later they sent me one for 89 dollars. Apparently I had to call within 72 hours to save 39 dollars. So I gotta pay a bill that I never get charged for but just give them 50 dollars. On top of that if you call them all of their employees that I got were outside of the United States. I called and paid the 50 dollars and they stopped the recording. Honestly it just seems a little weird to me. How can a company demand you pay them money and not send you a bill. I got a confirmation number but now I'm worried if I have to cancel the card as I'm not sure I can trust them. To be honest I wish someone would investigate them as it just seems to be a giant scam.

Horrible experience! I took the test for travel and they took way too long to give me the results. I called Aegis and it was like talking to a robot. They said they take up to 48 hours to give results and no one can help. I told them that others in my group got their results but they didn't care. I asked for a boss but they said they would call back in 24 hours (they didn't). I got my results in the middle of the night and they were POSITIVE! I took a home test and it was NEGATIVE. I took another test in the morning and it was also NEGATIVE. We went to Orlando and I took another PCR test and it was NEGATIVE! This happened to me before but I didn't know how bad they are! Don't trust this lab! They're giving false info!

We did a PCR test 'cause Jamaica said we had to before we went on our trip. We did it on Wednesday, 8/25, 'cause that was the earliest we could do it. Jamaica said it had to be no more than three days before we left. We gave it to the lab at 4:15 pm on Wednesday, 8/25. They said it would take about 24 hours. It's now Saturday at noon, 8/28, and we still don't have the results. We missed our flight at 5am 'cause we didn't have the results. We missed the 8:15am flight and the last flight at 9:45am. We can't get to Jamaica today, and if we did, the results would be no good 'cause it's past the three-day window. We had to pay $225 per person to do a PCR test at the airport, and we had to change our flights and our resort stay. We had to extend our travel insurance and find a way to get home. All 'cause the lab didn't give us the results. We're so upset, and we don't want anyone else to go through this. Don't trust this lab.

Lost our COVID test. We submitted our COVID tests to *** on 12/31 with a 3-5 day turn around guarantee. They sent the samples to Aegis Labs. Close to the 5 day window we received results for 3 of the 4. The 4th test does not show up on their system & they claim it was never delivered them. This is unlikely as ***s sent all of the samples in the same *** delivery. When I contact customer service - there was no attempt to try to locate the sample - a flat, we never received this test. Poor customer service & unethical conduct - would not recommend.

This is why people stop trying to do the right thing. Visited Tennessee last week, not a lot of social distancing and definitely not any mask wearing. Upon returning home to New Jersey, decided it would be smart to get a Covid test and work from home until I get results. Scheduled test at a local pharmacy, and it was performed on 8/15. As of the writing of this review, 8/18 @ 7:30pm, I still do not have any results. Tried calling Aegis customer service, sat on hold indefinitely, was given the option to leave a callback number and of course that never happened. Funny thing is that I now come to find that Aegis is based in Tennessee, wouldn't surprise me in the least if the whole company has Covid based on my visit to the state. The Aegis website says they are averaging 24 hour turnaround on testing, that's a lie. Looks like I'm back to the office tomorrow potentially infecting others, can't say I didn't try to do the right thing.

I had a similar experience as one of the reviews. When I pulled up my requisition number it told me my test was complete, however, when I entered my personal information- the system could not pull up my results. I called *** and they let me know that I had a different requisition number, tried the number, still didn't work. I called Aegis, employee said my name was spelled incorrectly on the first number and on the second number the collection date was wrong therefore unable to pull up results. When asked to escalate to determine who input my profile incorrectly and created two profiles and lack of email follow up for completed results- I was simply given an email to file a complaint and was told there was no one I could verbally talk to. I was able to receive an email of my results after speaking to the Aegis employee with a 3rd requisition number? I am not even sure if my test is reliable at this point with 3 requisition numbers made up under my name.
I am leaving feedback so that this doesn't happen to future customers. Covid test is an important test and results should be madeavailable in a timely manner without multiple instances of inputting errors in instill trust in the process.

We were given the wrong requisition numbers that were needed in order to check our results. I had to call *** and Aegis each day. A representative assured me that they had our tests, but I later learned that wasn't true. I asked to speak to a supervisor or someone that could help me locate our tests and was told that the supervisors were in a meeting and that they would return my call...it must be a really long meeting because fast forward 2 weeks and no one has even bothered to call me.
The consequences that we experienced as a result of our results being delayed that we were ordered into a mandatory quarantine, threatened with jail time and/or a large fine and had to check in each day like we were on parole. We were treated horribly as a result of not having our COVID-19 test results in hand (which is another issue in itself). I lost thousands of dollars and had to change my vacation plans that I spend over a year planning. To say that I'm frustrated is an understatement. *** promised a 72 hours turn around but our results weren't given to us until 5 days later.

This has caused troubles at the airport and might get me rejected when I arrive in Korea. I'm departing today, 9/22/2022. This company doesn't care about dates, and they're very important when flying internationally. If I get rejected, I'll sue *** and Aegis.

This company is terrible! They said they'd give us our covid test results in 72 hours, but they were backed up and couldn't deliver on time! It messed up our travel plans! Their customer service is awful! I emailed them over 15 times and didn't get a response! I finally got in touch with someone, but it was too late! They lied about when they received the test because another Aegis representative said when they actually got it! So they had the test, but delayed in doing it! Our overseas plans were ruined! They didn't care! This is seriously the worst company ever, and I'll make sure to tell everyone not to use them for covid tests!

We wanted to go to a tropical island for our 20th anniversary, but the island requires the test done within 72hrs of the flight. We called the third-party agency many times, but they kept saying 24-72hrs for results and they were pending. Concerned, I asked Delta to change our flight, but they said we had to purchase first class seats again for $1700.00! We hoped to receive the results before landing, but we didn't. We had to quarantine the first night and then leave. Our time and money were wasted.

The bill had the wrong insurance and my insurance never got an invoice. I called them to give them the right info and they said they would look into it. Three months later they sent another bill. I called the billing number and an employee said our insurance wrote a check and we probably threw it away. That's not how it works! After much time on the phone with the billing department, they finally admitted the invoice was too old to send to our insurance. So I finally got the truth. No one knows where the bill was for 2 years and 11 months. They won't let me speak to anyone in authority to let them know this happened. My insurance company never got an invoice. I emailed Aegis and no response. I called the Doctors office and they said they stopped doing business with them.

The bill was dated 29 Dec 2020, almost a year late. They said they couldn't find my insurance, but that's not true. They billed me for the same thing on 22 Mar 2019 and my insurance company paid it. I sent AEGIS my records, but they didn't respond. I had to change my *** plan from ***/*** to Prime when I moved from *** WA to *** WA. This is the second time this has happened. It's called balance billing and it's illegal in WA. *** has a contract that says they only pay what they owe, so any balance billing is against the contract.

I got an invoice from Aegis on August 12, and I emailed them my insurance info on August 18, asking if they could submit a claim to my insurance company. Golden Rule sent me an Explanation of Benefits showing two claims from Aegis Sciences, both dated July 24. One claim was for $587.00, repriced to $100.00, and the other was for $242.00, repriced to $31.07. That's a total of $829.00 charged to my insurance for the same lab testing services that Aegis charged me $89.00 for. Even after repricing, the amount is still $131.07, which is $42.07 more than the original invoice from Aegis. This is why healthcare costs and insurance coverage in our country are fraudulent and unreasonable. It's not fair that uninsured patients get discounted rates while insured patients get charged over nine times as much. Regulations need to change to protect both insured and uninsured patients.

I'm having a hard time getting my Covid results from Aegis Sciences Corporation. I've called them multiple times, but they haven't been able to help me. I got tested for Covid with my kids on 12/17, and my results were ready on 12/18. However, I can't seem to pull my report. I've tried different browsers and devices, but it still wouldn't work. I called customer support on Friday, and they said I would receive an email in 24 hours. But I didn't get anything. I tried again on Monday, but I still couldn't get my results. I emailed their customer service department, but I still didn't get any help. I've been out of work for a week now, and I can't return without my results. I've lost a week's worth of wages because of this. I find their lack of communication unprofessional and ridiculous. I understand they're busy, but they should at least respond to my emails. I've attached a screenshot of the error message I'm getting.
