I feel like Aeroplan is treating me like trash.
I've been an Aeroplan user for several years, on my CIBC credit card. My aeroplan number has been the same since inception. My password has been the same for a long time. On Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, I tried to sign in but could not do so. The website was of no help. I called the telephone number and was on hold for 1 hour and 35 minutes. By 10:30 p.m., I hung up. I called again the next day, Friday, December 1. I called at about 8:20 a.m.. At about 10:05, a person finally ended my being on hold. After 15 minutes, my problem could not be resolved. The rep. could not figure out why I could not log in.
She said she would have IT contact me to resolve the problem, but could not say when they would contact me - a day, several days or even a week!
This is unacceptable. I had signed in only 6 weeks earlier to book a hotel, successfully.

I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG, YET I AM THE ONE SUFFERING THE NEGATIVE CIRCUMSTANCES. What is wrong with this picture?! This is unacceptable to make me wait for an uncertain length of time. That's why I feel i HAVE BEEN TREATED LIKE TRASH.
I have been told to contact CBC/go public about this and am prepared to do so because I am so frustrated with your customer service.
What can you do to help? My Aeroplan number is [protected].
