Agero has a very large amount of vendors that are contracted out to you when you need services. Agero pays rock bottom prices and are what I call a proprietary Client. Agero pays about a third of what retail rates are or lower. Customers are not their top concern you are just a number, another dollar and that's all they see you as. When Agero dispatches a company to your location the company usually has a liaison that calls and negotiate the rock bottom rates that no one can possibly make any profit off of. The drivers are in no hurry because its filler work at best and they make nothing off the call and are very unappreciated. Here are examples of their pay rate. $25.00 for a Jump Start, $25 Dollars for a lock out, $75.00 to $100.00 for a 30 mile tow. By the time a driver makes his commission he cant even buy lunch at a 7 eleven. A drink and a hot dog wipe out the commission he just made to do the call and the owner has it even worse. Prices are rising their rates getting lower, $30 per day for truck insurance per truck, 80 cents per mile on wear and tear, and commission to driver not to mention fuel. Add this up every company working for this client is going in the hole that's why you get no service and or slow service. If Agero up their game and paid out more a lot more it would solve the problem but until then your better off to call a reputable towing company and pay retail rates and get reimbursed at your local insurance office. These guys are crooks and getting away with this daily. DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR GAME that's the only way we are going to get the insurance company to stop forwarding accounts to this incredibly crooked Vendor. My 2 cents hope it helps explain the process.
Recommendation: Dont use them!!!
