AIESEC International review: Aiesec intership in izmir

I entered into an employment contract with aiesec under the understanding that they would provide accommodation as part of the employment package. However, upon my arrival in Turkey, I discovered that no accommodation had been arranged for me, contrary to what was explicitly promised in our agreement. This lack of accommodation has caused significant inconvenience and financial strain on my part.

Furthermore, upon attempting to commence my employment, I was confronted with tasks and responsibilities that were not outlined in the job description or agreed upon in the contract. The company insisted on assigning additional duties that were unrelated to my specified job title. This not only deviates from our initial agreement but also raises concerns about the transparency and professionalism of aiesec business practices.

Additionally, the lack of support and assistance from the aiesec team in İzmir has left me in a challenging situation, with no resolution in sight. I have made considerable efforts and investments, spending approximately $1600 on the journey from Egypt to Turkey, only to find myself without the promised accommodation and faced with unexpected job demands.

I would like to bring to your attention that such actions by aiesec not only breach our contractual agreement but also constitute a serious misrepresentation of the terms of employment. As a result, I am seeking compensation for the financial losses incurred due to the lack of accommodation, the expenses related to my relocation, and the time and effort invested in this employment opportunity.

I kindly request that a thorough investigation be conducted into these matters and appropriate actions be taken to rectify the situation. Moreover, I expect a prompt response outlining the steps aiesec intends to take to address and resolve these grievances.
