aiesec internship certificates
I volunteered for aiesec turkey denizli programme. It has been more then a month and our certificates are still pending. A certificate is a proof that we took part in a programme and is a great thing to be included in the resume and one of the main reasons to take part in the programme. Every other aiesec programme has given the students their certificate...

I was accepted for an opportunity at AIESEC AAST in Cairo in March 2019, everything was okay uptill I arrived in Egypt. Accommodation was different than the pictures which were sent by LC to me ayesha resolved that matter so it's okay
I was supposed to do an internship in Egypt as global entrepreneur and without a doubt a can say that it was worst experience of my life. They don't even answer me when I was in Egypt, all of them have turned off blue ticks on whatsapp .
Job description of my opportunity was totally different than the job I was given even I agreed to work there but the company manager was [censored] he never responded to my messages even he was posting status on whatsapp then I contacted my LC VP Sara sherif(busiest person in world) she didn't responded me even its been month I'm back to my country I have proof of everything if you guys need any thing I can provide. Everytime when there was trip every member of LC texts me to join them on trip. I'm here in Pakistan without internship certificate. Even My home LC isn't copperting with me except Ayesha and if you guys have the same behavior I'm sure I'm gonna take legal action against you guys as well.
I want every penny spent by me on this... AIESEC back, I left a very good internship in Pakistan because of this [censored]tiest internship.
It's been more than a month no one is copperting with me and I am afraid what is AIESEC international doing?
my internship certificate
I have done an internship in India and they didn't give me my certificate that I traveled for 6 months because of it . They don't even answer me both India and Egypt . When I was in India they told me that there was a problem with the website so they can not generate my certificate . More than one month passed and I went home and there is no response or respect .
unethical behavior
April/May 2019: I applied for a volunteer position in Colombia. The description was to work with women who were victims of violence, single mothers, or young pregnant women.
May/June 2019: My Ibagué contact, Camila, assures me that I do not need a visa. I complete my payment and insurance. We agree on a July 5 arrival. I later ask to change to June 28 which she says is no problem.
June 21, 2019: I receive message from Camila that my project is closed and I would now be working with children.
June 28, 2019: I cannot get on my original flight from Lime to Bogota as I did not have proof of a flight out of Colombia yet. No one from the organization told me this was necessary. They ensured all that I needed was my contract and invitation letter. I missed the flight and had to repurchase another for $300.
June 29, 2019: I arrive to Ibagaé and Camila brings me from the station to my host family. It is very obvious that she has never met them before or seen the house or where I would be living.
June 30, 2019: I meet with Camila and Montserrat, both from AIESEC, to conduct my welcome orientation. They tell me that the organization available to me is over an hour away on bus. No one had taken the time to check the distance from my house. Montserrat, the one in charge of organizing my work, did not even know my address. I mentioned to her that a shorter commute since I would only work 4 hours a day would be better.
July 2, 2019: I have not worked yet. I receive a message from Montserrat with the address of the foundation, which my host family tells me is over an hour and a half each way on bus. I would have to take 3 busses each way, adding up to $5/day. A cost that I was not warned about. When I ask if there is a closer foundation, she says that she can take me to another that works with people ages 2-45 who have intellectual disabilities. This is work that I never agreed to and that I did not feel comfortable doing. I then contacted my Austin AIESEC team for support. I also asked my host family if anyone had met them or come to the house here, they said that no one had been here and they couldn't believe a a young woman was being placed in a house without anyone inspecting first. Five men regularly come through my house, and no one from AIESEC met any of them before placing a 20 yo foreign woman in their home. My host brother is a classmate of Camila, and she simply matched me to the house because they had been in school together. I mentioned this to Camila, her response is included in this form. That if they conducted inspections and something happened, they would then be responsible for not knowing better.
July 3, 2019: I had a call with my Austin team: Raashi Shastry and Nikita Shah, and Camila from Ibague. We agree that I will go to the further organization for this week, until a different, closer organization working with kids opens the next week. Austin agrees to pay me for bus tickets that I will have to purchase. Later this day, I go to the foundation with Montserrat. It is obvious that she had never been there before or met the director. They tell me here that I will actually work for 8 hours a day, and that a school bus can pick me up if I take a public bus to the route. I agree to continue working at this organization because I liked the foundation and I pay for 2 buses rather than 6, and work significantly more. I ask Montserrat if we will need to go through a sensitivity training before working with children, as this has always been a requirement for organizations i've worked with in the past. She says no.
July 3/4, 2019: Camila speaks with my host brother and tells him that I was behaving rudely, that there was proof that some of the things I said about AIESEC were a lie, and that she doesn't want his family to think poorly of the organization. No question of how his family or I were doing. It becomes clear to me that I cannot trust Camila and that she would share my situation with others in the organization. I start working at the foundation and avoid contact with others from AIESEC as I felt uncomfortable after the situation. I have never responded in the group message or attended events for this reason, I felt completely alienated starting my first week, as I did not know who Camila had spoken to about me.
July 4, 2019: Despite being told that there would be people who speak english at our organizations, there were definitely none at mine. My spanish is good enough to make things work, but I have had to act as translator for the other volunteer for the entirety of our work. There were also at least 5 children at the school who had significant intellectual disabilities, despite me asking to not work with this population due to past experiences that had made me uncomfortable. AIESEC Ibague either knew this information and disregarded it, or did not take the time to ask and conform.
July, 2019: I work at the organization and avoid all contact/interaction with AIESEC members in Ibagué. I consult only with my foundation about my work. My host brother briefly mentions a conversation with Camila in which she said that another AIESEC volunteer said I was a "[censored]." A guy i barely know and messaged only briefly during the original conflict to ask if there was another Ibagué contact that I could reach out to. Reassuring my decision to distance myself.
July 18, 2019: I receive messages from a man named Sebastian. After asking who he was and confirming that he was from AIESEC Ibagué, I mentioned that after issues I had in the past I was not interested in a conversation. He continued sending me messages insisting that he was separate from the organization and asking me to speak with him. I continue asking him to stop. I even share the messages with my host family so they can help translate and think of things I could say to deter him. Eventually I stop responding.
July 19, 2019: I receive a message from Sebastian in the morning, included, which says, "Have a nice day, bad-tempered young lady." At this point I feel that the messages have moved from bothersome to harassment. I send them to the Austin team and to Camila. Camila insists that he is simply "outgoing, " and does not outright call his actions unprofessional or uncalled for. She has offered a meeting with their president, but the chapter here seems to be a large friend group, so I am doubtful and untrusting. Raashi was far more supportive and contacted the national AIESEC branch who asked me to submit a form.
In conclusion, AIESEC has been a truly awful experience. My work was never organized accordingly and they rarely have correct, informative answers for me. I wasted hundreds of dollars and a week without work here because of their misinformation. Members of the chapter here have made me feel alienated and uncomfortable. My only source of support has been my family and the staff at the school where I work. They have made me question my sanity as they act like my concerns are outlandish. I truly feel as though I am being gaslighted by members such as Camila. Men from the organization are harassing me. They act in complete disregard, as if there are no consequences for such behavior. The chapter here has put me in potentially dangerous situations, as well as potentially endangered the children by letting adults without training work with them. I have been forced to endure situations beyond the extent of what i agreed to. Rather than simply adjusting to work in a foreign country, I have been isolated by people who were supposed to be my support system. Unfortunately, the experience has been defining of my opinion of AIESEC.
aiesec behavior regarding my situation was abusive and unpopular
I would like to deposit a complaint against Jessica Laus and Eric Min for the harassment that I've been subject. Since my sponsor company was not able to continue my intership I've asked Eric Min if it's possible to transfer my j1 visa to another company his answer was no which was not true. Eric Min didn't inform the legal team or whatever they call themselves about my situation. I've informed them about my new company and they are putting the blame on me about their miscommunication. Eric Min was harassing me everyday and have wrong information for every question he just wanted to make me leave without any support or backup plan. Jessica Laus blamed me saying that it was my responsibility to tell her and I've informed Eric Min 2 months before the end of my internship. I am constantly harassed since then and they don't wanna sign the paper off to let me finish my intership with another company. I was humiliated treated like a criminal threaten daily by them. I am so disappointed. You have a communication issue you didn't do your job properly this is harassment when you have 5 email where they threaten me against one. This is unprofessional and Eric Min and Jessica Laus don't represent well the association. They were abusive lying about the laws they didn't do their job. I've never got any support from them since I am here.
Just gave up
As acting President of AIESEC United States, I wish to submit a comment to this complaint as it is our opinion that it is needlessly spreading false and inaccurate information. The purpose of this comment is to rectify the complaint above provided by the "writer", which contains several instances of false communication. The details of the case are confidential and sensitive in nature, but I want to make it clear that Jessica Laus is a very experienced professional who handled this situation in 100% compliance of our policies and the policies of the US Department of State. We are very lucky to have someone as knowledgeable and process-driven as her working with us.
It is my hope that this complaint be taken down, as it is needlessly spreading false and inaccurate information. I can be reached for further questions or concerns regarding this case.
Thanks for your attention.
improper treatment of my application and unacceptable behaviour
My name is Cherifa Abdou, an Egyptian student at Cairo University and submitted my application to join AIESEC and was interviewed on Tuesday, 30th of JUly 2019 at AIESEC office for Cairo University after passing an interview over the phone on Monday, 29th of July, 2019 and I was advised that I would be receiving an email giving me the feedback of whether I am accepted or not and suddenly on Sunday, 4th of August, 2019 at 9:15 pm I received a phone call from a young lady advsing me that I was accepted and that there is a so-called last phase group discussion and that I must attend the last session of such a group discussion the following day Monday, 5th of August, 2019 and I had to appoliogize as I was outside Cairo and and that was really a too short notice to get a phone call at 9:15 pm asking to join a session on the following day and she advised me that she would put a note of that on my name .
I heared nothing from them till I decided to call them on Thursday, August the 8th, , 2019 to inquire about my situation and I called at 7 :00 pm and to my surprise I was told by the same young lady that I did not attend the last phase being the group discussion and that on that date I called there was the last group discusssion at 8:00 pm and that I must attend it, otherwise my application is not complete and I could apply again on the second semester of 2020 . Actually I am complaining about the way I was treated and the miscommunication I experienced by notifying first on a too short notice about the last phase and that I did not get the promised email of the feedback on my application and also the fact that I decided to follow up myself on the application after this phone call I got and suddenly discover that the last session for group discussion was not on the 5th of August as I was told over the phone but was still on the 8th of August, 2019 as I discovered during the phone call I did .
I am really disappointed of such a behaviour and I was really hoping to join AIESEC to add value and to gain experience, especially after what I heared from my father about it as he had experince in the 80's at AUC (the American University in Cairo) but what I experienced was toltally unacceptable in terms of planning and treating others with respect
unprofessional and misleading behaviour from aiesec ceske budejovice volunteer coordinator
Good day,
My name is Prince Fara-Farai Awindor. I am a University student from Ghana and I applied to the AIESEC project, Edison- Breaking Cultural Barriers in Ceske Budejovice in the Czech Republic for the period of 6 weeks. I was accepted for the project on 16th April 2019.
After acceptance, I got into contact with Thomas and since then I have not been able to finalize anything in relation to the project. I was informed there were problems with regards to accommodation and documents for the visa. He, Thomas Walker did not update me on events in relation to the project and I have always had to prompt him for information.
For weeks I was just told to hold on and wait for updates and clarifications which never came. I was not redirected to anyone else neither was I given steps to take in order to finalize my application for the project.
This is my first time having any relation with Aiesec thus I do not know the procedure and processes involved in the cross-cultural exchanges.
I would like to say that I am terribly disappointed at the way I have been treated and the way my situation has been handled. Up till now, there has been no resolution of my situation despite the fact that I complained to Thomas Walker. I do not know if I would be going for the project at all because I have next to no information as to the steps I have to take or documents I need in order to apply for the visa or get ready for the exchange.
The level of unprofessionalism in this organization has convinced me that I would have no further dealings with it neither would I recommend it to anyone I know.
I hope this complaint would be considered and steps would be taken to improve the performance of the people in charge. Hope to hear a response soon.
Sincerely, Prince Fara-Farai Awindor

Hi Ashtoush,
Here we, me, Mohammed, Abdulla, Youssef and Coung, are writing the email you required. We contacted our countries' Aiesec department to rectify your negligence in solving our problems, which you were perfectly aware of regardless of the absence of formal emails like the one herein. I will be frank and cristal clear as I am used to Not having received any of such emails are not considered as a worthy excuse.
Your way of disregarding our queries and needs is being disrespectful, and your request to receive a formal email to start considering and solving them is only being both an offence towards our own intelligence and proof of your negligence/incapacity to solve the issues we incurred in within the context you put us. In fact, this is not the first time in which you are behaving as such: during our discussion, which also the President Rahil was present in, related to the absence of the minimum facilities in what you call "kitchen", you said that "according to the Wikipedia definition of "fridge" you are not obliged to provide us with one since it is "an instrument of storage" and not of cooking". This has been sufficiently insulting to make you ashamed of the label of Vicepresident you praise yourself with. If at the first glance I could have said that this role is a responsibility that you are not holding only due to the too large number of interns and volunteers you surrounded yourself of, now, after the above-mentioned discussion, I simply understand that you simply can't. You are trying to have the highest number of Incoming spending the least effort possible. Trying to being efficient you are being poorly effective. Trying to do everything you are not doing anything. You did the step longer than the leg welcoming all of us, and now who is paying for your errors it's us.
You may think what is done is done. True but now you must solve our problems as soon as possible and ask pardon for the discomfort you put us in. If this were a holiday house a bad review would prevent you from having other Incomings in the future, but since this is not I will make use other means to avoid that other unaware people would have to go through all this, that is denouncing to the Aiesec International all the failings.
The incapacity of you and your department to meet the most basic needs of having are overly passed the threshold of good common sense.
It's been almost 3 weeks that some of us are here and on a daily basis, we report to you personally, by call and messages and to our buddies and the other Aiesecers our issues repeatedly. Our complaints came to your ears and attention from multiple sources and periods of time. But postponement and passing-the-buck attitude ruled. This is not acceptable anymore.
1- You promised a decent place to live. When I first arrived I found a place in disgusting conditions and you realized how bad they were when you came here to see them. Dust everywhere, insects around, bathroom and shower room tainted and stained of black, washroom without light, kitchen devoid of the basics, no wi-fi, used sheets and pillow cover full of hair and dust (you even admitted you had a meeting sitting all together on that same sheets). On Sunday 7 we even took off the filter of the A/C and fun out that we were breathing contaminated air for how much it was dirty (it hasn't probably ever been cleaned). You said the cleaning lady came. I say, if she came, she did not clean anything! I and my flatmates spent more than 3000 rupees in cleaning stuff and spent one entire day in order to clean the house at a reasonable extent to let us live into it.
2- You promised a kitchen. The kitchen is without the basics to cook or storage food (fridge according to your Wikipedia definition). Furthermore, before my immense surprise, you could still not answer to my objection according to which "the kitchen you gave us is not even equipped of the compulsory facilities to meet its expectation of being "cooking means" since is devoid of stove, oven, gas, dishes, glasses or cutlery of any kind".
Since that conversation, I could not trust your words anymore and personally felt uselessly offended by your disregarding consideration of my intelligence.
3- You promised drinkable water in tanks - It never came
4- You promise food to be delivered twice a day - it has been delivered only the first day.
PS without kitchen where to cook healthy food, a fridge to store grocery food and without cooked food brought from the providing service I had to order only online food from restaurants and fast-foods and its costs me 300$ till now
5- You promise keys. We are 6 people home now and we still have 2 keys. This hinders our autonomy as independent individuals, as we are and you forget to conceive us. Moreover, this issue increases the chances the keys may get lost due to the often hand passes needed, which goes against your purposes to preserve their integrity.
6- You promised Wi-Fi. we are international citizens outside the home without a stable wi-fi connection and all the bad implications it leads to.
7- Misleading communication - You sent to all the other interns a link where to watch the pictures of the comparable places we would have been living in. Firstly, the pictures did not reflect the real conditions of the accommodation but rather fallacious past brighter than actual conditions. Secondly, every and each of us understood that we would have been provided with wi-fi, laundry and ironing 24/7, kitchen completely functioning, drinkable water and clean place. The fact that each of us misunderstood the real conditions of the accommodation is a piece of clear evidence that you took advantage of subtle and misleading communication.
8- i came here to learn new things and to work with a company with a good conditions, i found that the office is in a very low conditions, 4 chairs, one fan and there is no even a good bathroom, no one told me that i will work in this conditions.
9- i already made a lot of tasks that they asked me to do, but they already asking alot of other overwhelming tasks like I'm a full time jop, and i waste money and time too to make all this tasks done, and I can't afford this anymore.
10- no one in the office doing my job, so i came here as an intern, to learn some skills, so how can i learn anything from this company while there is no one doing the job I supposed to do ?!
11- i paid for a good place to live in, because i found that i have to follow many rules in my host house, I didn't came from my country which is far 4500 km away, to be treating like a child, so i paid to stay in an accommodation have the basic humans conditions, now im sleeping like a refugee on a [censored]ty mattress on the floor ?! It that AIESEC india ?!
Final words I'm really love india and live it's people, and i think because of the other interns and the people of india I'm still here and didn't go home, but really this conditions is ruining our experience so please solve it .
Thank you
aiesec chandigarh india
Hello. First of all this people are very unprofessional . Infact, I got accepted in one opportunity starting 15th of june for teaching english in chandigarh than they made it 1st of july for teaching french in kharar. Before that, they gave me the invitation letter with an adress in amritsar far 4 hours from chandigarh. Second none came to welcome me or gave me the adress of the accomodation. A girl from my country that i met by chance in the embassy gave it to me because we found out we re in the same opportunity. When i reached there ( 1 hour far from the city they said about in the opportunity of the portal. When i reached the accomodation . I found 100 lizards in the room on the bed in every corner. Frogs and rats also. Water was black . Like literally black and the electricity goes every 2 minutes and we would stay for 30 minutes in the dark, heat and surrounded by weird animals. The accomodation is situated in the middle of no where. In order to buy one packet of "expired" juice because yes everything is expired . You should walk for 15 minutes minimum. The food is veg and none is allowed to eat nonveg in the dorm but its ok it s nothing comparing to all these issues. I decided to talk to the managers i was very angry . They didnt even reply i said so many things but none gave me any answer . They said you ll get used to it. I mean like seriously? None came even to say anything. I chose to quit that accomodation i slept in the street . Thank god i had my fiance living about 40klm far from there that came for me. They didnt change the accomodation nor anything. Their reaponsible simply quit aiesec so that she doesnt get any tension. I am the only one who spoke but trust me everyone is suffering for 1 year, 6 months 3 months and more more more. We re girls, at least they could have done the minimum. I hate Aiesec Chandigarh. They ve no sense of proffessionality nor humanity nor leadership nor nothing . Big fat ZERO. Please, i really have faith in aiesec international. I want my rights back from them.
dishonesty, faulty communication, emotional harassment, unethical and unprofessional behaviour
I got connected to Aiesec maastricht in Feb 2018, then i applied for a position in Aiesec germany. EP manager from Maastricht insisted me to make payment as soon as possible. She said she has blocked a seat for me in Aiesec germany and she has to get money of 324 euros ( 299 euros plus 25 euros deposit ) asap. After making payment on feb 28, i got mail from Aiesec germany that i am accepted as global volunteer there. But two days later, I got another mail about contract to sign within 10 days. The project was about to start on June 3, 2019. But there is no information provided me about the project, about the timings of project, my accommodation. Nothing!. Everytime, i contacted to EP buddy, i was told that yeah we will update you asap. and then on every step, i got fooled by AIESEC. I found that, in the first week, they also do not know about the project, what they will going to do and the project has already started. There was so many problems ( mentioned below) i faced during my worst time with AIESEC.
- Aiesec is organisation run by school level people.
- this is totally unorganised and unprofessional body
- they do not even read CV or motivation letter, when they get application.
-Their behaviour is very rude, impolite and ruthless to their volunteer.
- they just fooled the people coming from different countries.
- they just want to make money as they do not have clear details of how they use the money which they ask from volunteers for volunteering work.
- They do not have competent people in their organisation.
- They hide the important details from volunteers so that they can not get caught.
so, basically if you want to work with Aiesec, you have to give them money for volunteering work. again they will ask money as project fees. the home aiesec also ask money as acceptance fees and deposits. when you reach to host country, you have to spend your own money to travel to the location where project is based from you accomodation ( which i paid around 30 euros per day). for meals plus internet and other basic necessities, you have to finance by yourself. and at the end of the day, you found that the project they are talking about is just art and craft class from Kindergarten. Then you realise, how big mistake of life you have done, by connecting to such a dischonest organisation. I am harassed by them on each and every step. I am double master student. i paid for volunteering work. and i found they spread so many rumours within the organisation about me. I got so disshearten by their behaviour. I am emotionally and financially harassed by Aiesec. Now, I want to get my money back ( 324 euros) which is very huge amount for me as a student. but they are not even ready to listen to me. I am completely broken by having this experience. I hope, no body gets scammed like me in future.
Project issues
I have suffered more than 20 days here in Egypt without any project. Because they said that my project is not possible at that point of time. Also I request him to atleast give some other work so that I don't waste my time doing nothing. The other projects were really bad too and now they are not helping me to file an ECB case. I need to share everything that I have suffered from my day 1 here. I have proofs for everything if needed.
Unprofessionalism
A friend and I are both English teachers who work with a Cambridge school in Morocco. We applied for a volunteering project in Adana. My manager in Aiesec Marrakech didn't help with anything. She didn't offer information until I kept asking. She didn't tell me anything about the OPS. We paid 1500dh fees in Morocco, 6000dh for the flight tickets, and plus 700dh for the health insurance fees . To our surprise, 2 days before our flight, we were told we'll be staying with hosts and not in appartment, and then when we arrived in turkey we received a message saying we need to pay extra money for the accomodation. And when we said we don't have the money they said we either pay it or get our own accomodation, or we can drop out and get no certificate. After spending so much money on a VOLUNTEERING project when we could've been paid in our own school, we feel so deceived and disappointed . On a another note, a manager from Adana bluntly asked all of us to get her personal gifts from Morocco which is very unprofessional, we felt embarrassed and pressured.
What should we do now? We need help as soon as possible.
Furthermore, Today we talked to all of the Eps of Adana to solve this problem and they start blaming, talking rudely, threatin us and stuffsssss
another thing, the picture here is showing the things I bought me and my friend for the Turkish team, but its seeems that they dont deserve to be threated the same we did .
Now weee neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed help as sooon as possible

my ep manager
I have applied for Aiesec in Turkey from Pakistan and I am facing huge management issue, to the point that I feel like I will not be able to go since nobody is willing to help me. I got accepted in a program in Turkey at 7th of May, and was waiting for my EP manager to get my the acceptance letter, he would not reply to my messages at all. I started contacting the people from Turkey and eventually on the 20th of May, I got my acceptance letter. I then waited for my EP to get emails from the Turkish EP to the visa office and again my EP managed stopped replying. I went to the visa office and they sent me back home saying that no email from Turkey was recieved for my name and my friends. I called my EP and he said he was busy and will do it some time, I begged him to do it that very day because my program is so close now and no more days are left to apply for the visa, he promised he will and again he did not. Now I have less that 3 weeks left to apply for my visa and he is not helping me at all. Please tell me what I can do?

AIESEC have changed my life I ve been to two exchange programs and I was a member here in Algeria for over a year than due to my busy schedule and studies I stopped going to meetings and I didn't have time to put my renseigation, after few months I received a dissmissel email and the reason was sexual harassment, eventhough I haven't been apart of aiesec for months, I tried to contact the aiesec president and some members but no one replied, and I left it at that
But recently I've been dealing with bad reputation due to this email, I've been very professional in my work and I've done a lot in my one year term as an aiesecer thus im more than surprised due to what happened
Further more there is an abuse of power by some members, they use the funds and the local office for their oWn personal use
Oussama belkheir the former babez lcp and nesrrine benrahla former babez lcvp and others whom I don't know personally
They also dont do their job properly and offer support for exchange participants and many people I know had to do a lot to face many problems that were supposed to be handled by the AIESEC team here in Algeria

So as the aisec team back there in chennai, india (my guide mudit mundoth and diya mirpuri) said me the how the place is gonna be in egypt and I even gave them clear instructions of my likes and dislikes! They really said they will take care of it as much possible! They said the place is gonna be fine but not with ac but the place is totally different the toilets are leaking, the place is dirty, the doors are broken, beds are crooked, the switch boards are broken, and *in the country with the temperature of 45c they have provided us a standing fan with 3 members in a room! Totally 3 fans and 9 members! It's tougher than living in a forest! Never expected that organisation would treat people from another country in their country! And now the aisec guide back there are saying they are working on it! I have left behind my family in india and they wish I am always in a comfortable place and aisec should really look upon that!
aiesec istanbul, never honest
I have a compulsory internship at my university, therefore I met Aiesec members to talk about global entrepreneurship in Istanbul, the Aiesec consultant of Istanbul, told me that I will receive all the necessary documents for my internship that necessary for my university, also, there will be no mistake. After all they convinced me to sign the documents for the project in Brazil. After I met the Aiesec consultant in Brazil I am told, the company that i will be work for don't give me the letter of application, when i asked to my Aiesec consultant from Istanbul about that, he rejected what he had said before, he unpredictably became rude with me. when I call Aiesec offices, they don't answer my calls and they threat me to pay extra money that i asked to cancel,
this situation is not fair and legal, people are giving false information to apply and sign, after all they are leaving all alone with the lies they are told.
I was volunteering as a student to produce something beneficial in order to complete my education, however i suddeny realize myself in a situation with the collection of unproffesional people.
not approaching seriously to an accepted candidate
Hi there,
My application recently been accepted from AIESEC Estonia, however since 5 weeks they didnt inform me anything for the next steps and the worst is they don't reply to my e mails.
Therefore, as an accepted candidate my revolt is growing day by day, so I want to ask you kindly whether there is any solution for this problem ?
Sincerely yours,
Murat Osmani
unethical behaviour
Hi I'm a AIESEC'ER from AIESEC in Malaysia and a student from University Malaysia Perlis. I'm currently studying environmental engineering 2nd year student. I feel that I don't really have part in this organization because of the people who run in my local committee. I feel that they are racist towards indians because the majority race that is running this organization is chinese race. OKAY! if this is a organization run by youth why is this supposed to be so racist! Next time you want to recruit people in this organization YOU put WE ONLY ACCEPT THIS SKIN COLOUR! YOUR VISION AND MISSION CAN THROW INSIDE THE DUSTBIN. AND MY CURRENT LCP SHE SAID THIS ORGANIZATION IS ONLY FOR CHINESE ! YOU SAID IT IS RUN BY YOUTH DO YOU HOW MANY OF THEM ARE MISUSING THIS ORGANIZATION FOR THEIR OWN FAME! HAVE EVER BEEN IN THIS SITUATION WHERE TARGET RACE IS BECOME THEIR VICTIM OR RACISM. RACISM IS HAPPENING AROUND THE WORLD IF THE YOUTH MINDSET IS LIKE THIS HOW YOU GOING TO ACHIEVE THE GOALS FOR PEACE AND FULFILLMENT of humankind's potential. HOPE YOU WILL TAKE ACTION ON THIS MATTER!
Hi
I also had worst experience of my life with Aiesec and I want as much support as we can so that we can raise our voice against faulty practices of aiesec . Please ask for more support so that this aiesec can not dupe other people in the future
