sales manager at promo republic-aiesec kyiv-ukraine
Hi there,
Hope you are doing fine, at 9th of November I got job interview for the above mentioned position, they accepted my application and they informed that it will be held within next days.
However, since 3 weeks I didn't hear anything from them, really unsympathetic approach by Aiesec Kyiv-Ukraine, they did not inform me anything whether I am accepted or rejected for that applied Internship.
Hope that my message and complain will help you to correct
to improve the quality and effectiveness of work from Aiesec members worldwide.
Sincerely yours,
Murat Osmani
Hi again, The Aiesec Kyiv-Ukraine members just called and informed me that the selection process from the side of above mentioned Company lasts longer than foreseen period, they dont have any mistake(Aiesec Kyiv-Ukraine members), because in the second step of Interview the Company decides for everything, so I will wait for the response. I am so sorry for that complaint letter is it possible to delete it ? Sincerely yours, Murat Osmani
manager oujda/morocco
So this is the hard truth that i'm about to say, now my manager of oujda/morocco called 'jihad fouakhri' is pure rude direspectful person I ever seen, I was looking for some opportunities on aiesec and when I got accepted I couldn't sign the contract because the apointment to apply for my vissa wasn't close to the day I start the project so then she said, if you don't accept the next offer you get and you apply for visa, I will refuse all the offers you applied for, and you'll never be able to apply in aiesec again, and I find that very unfair cuse it's not on aiesec rules plus, she used to warn me and direspecting me, she used to say you better pay fast the fees and you have one day to pay them but in the contract hey say I have 10days, when I said that she said no, all she want is money, while i'm trying to reach my dreams I never seen someone rude like that, that's the worst person I ever meet I don't how they hired her to work in this job as manager, the manager should never talk like that, she's very rude on the way she talk to me, and one day she said they accepted you on a n offer so you better acccept it fast and send me money tomorrow, and I replied I didn't see any offer accepted would you send me the offer link, and she didn't reply and after 2weeks she said ok it's late I will refuse you fromm all opportunities you applied for, wow... So yes i'm done with that, I hope she get fired very soon, cause her job is to support me not refuse the offers that I applied for.
terrible communication
I was on a volunteer exchange in Mexico city. my program was supposed to last from July 2nd until August 13th, 2018(according to the project page on Aiesec website). My program ended on August 3rd. (only 5 weeks).
The communication with the Mexico city office was absolutely terrible. I asked for information about: the project details, which airport I should arrive in, information about my accommodation and airport pick up.
I never received respond on which airport I should book my flight ticket to. I got the information about airport pick up when I was in Mexico city airport. I received information about the project and expectations from the project on my way to Mexico City. I never received information about the accommodation until I got an email from my host family the night before I left my home country(Denmark).
on my first day of work, I didn't know what time I should be at work.
doing the last 3 weeks before my trip it was almost impossible to get in touch with the Mexico city contact (David) I ended up, instead of having an actual conversation with him, just receiving 2 sound files on whats app.
when I landed in Mexico city international airport I didn't even have enough information to fill out my immigration form.
on the first day of work a guy came and gave me a hug but it wasn't until he left 30 minutes later without talking to me at all, more than a hey that I realized it was my contact from the Aiesec office.
on the second Aiesec weekend event, everyone was so uncomfortably drunk and a lot of people were smoking all different kind of illegal substances. I don't drink alcohol and one of the aiesec girls(working for the Aiesec Mexico office) got very offended and refused to talk to me because I don't drink alcohol. she told me: "I so cannot talk to you" and no one from Aiesec spoke with me or contacted me after that event. I was in Mexico city for 3 more weeks after that but no contact with aiesec.
my opinion of the Aiesec Mexico city office is very unprofessional and I am not very satisfied with my experience. I loved the project I was a part of and I loved my host family but everything that had something to do with the Aiesec office was so unprofessional. the events were so badly planned and usually, we ended up being 3 hours late and you never knew until 30 minutes before the event was supposed to start where you were meeting or what the event was.
I am really unhappy with my experience and thereby request a full refund since I do not feel like Aiesec lived up to what they promised me
did you get the refund?
Hello! I'm a french student and I had a very bad experience with AIESEC as well. I'd like to know more about what happened to you. Would you get in touch?
yes with pleasure
accomodation
I'm on exchange program with AIESEC Antalya, Turkey.
The people of my ocp team are one of the nicest OCP I have ever met.
The problem is that my ocp first told me that they would find a host for me and they asked me for 3 days time.
I was living with one of the OC team member's home .
Then they gave us a house with no beds(we slept on sofas which had a layer of dirt on it), no Air conditioner, no fan( current temperature here is 39°C) and the place was as dirty as a dustbin could be. There were cockroaches in the house, the lights wasn't working but we still stayed there(we are like 5 guys stuck in this situation).
And now for the past few days I've been living in AIESEC office which literally does not have beds, fans, a place to take shower (I didn't take a shower for 3 days) and not even a place to poop and also I haven't been able to wash my clothes since the day I came here.
I've been bearing this since I came here and it's been 12 days.
Please I urge you to take my case seriously and provide me with a good accomodation.
Also the vice president of AIESEC Antalya doesn't wanna listen to us.(I am here since 15th of July)
Waiting to hear from you ASAP.
And I don't want a return or something I was here to enjoy my summer vacation with this project all I need is a good accomodation.
I tried to upload a video but it wouldn't support the format. When you contact me I will show you the video somehow.

aiesec alexandria
There are sexual involvement and sexual relationships between egyptian guys in AIESEC alexandria and girls from colombia, turkey and tunis and this is the main cause why egyptian guys participate in aiesec and not for the society service as it's known.where they go to the north coast together and stay at the property of one of them and have sexual relations together which is against our society and religious beliefs and sometimes they take illegal drugs together
thugs
I used to be an aiesecer helwan egypt lc but yesterday
I left because they assault me physical
And hired thugs to rob my money and
To kill me.
Why I used to be a teamster in rns team
The new coordinator is called mostafa essam
He was saying bad word like
"I will [censored] you"
"I will but ur [censored] in fire"
He showed his [censored] in meeting
Ans he called the girl interns as prostitutes
Besides he rises the prices for interns 230%
I did pickup before my resign and
They told me pay for transportation 100 egp and we will pay you back
And get 100 usd from intern as tn fees
I got 100 usd and they didn't take it same day
Rns called me to get it and I met him
And told me he will take 100 usd and he
Won't pay my money and I refused justifying its not my money
He told me he will take my national id till he get the money
I surely refused and asked about my money to give him money
He hit me
And hired thugs to kill me and stole my money and trampled my on street
And hit me with metal chain
Luckily the people in street saved my from death
And I want to raise a case on the lc
And get my rights back
I can send you my injuries photos
canceled internship without any notice
Dear all,
In February 2018, I signed a contract with AIESEC Ukraine (http://aiesec.ua/) for a Global talent program, paying the fee to organization in an amount of 4000UAH. The employment (internship) contract was also signed with the hosting organization in China, Yintagn city (Best Baby international English Ltd.). I have made and paid for all the document preparations in order to receive a visa to China and fulfill the internship.
However, the hosting organization refused to accept me after I have paid all the fees for document preparation and opened the visa to China, saying that they "hired someone else in the meantime and do not have a vacant place for me anymore."
The decision to break the contract was not even communicated to me in any way!
This situation is absolutely unacceptable and there is no excuse for the company and Aiesec itself.
Considering that from my side all the requirements were met, , I demand Aiesec to compensate me the spending I had to make in a relation to this internship:
1. Aiesec fee - 4000 UAH
2. Document preparation - 5000UAH
3. Visa fee - 1800UAH
In addition, I demand the organization to pay me a forfeit in an amount of promised 12 consecutive salaries for the internship as the contract was signed and canceled without any notice by hosting organization. From my side, I completed all the requirements. The amount I had to receive for completing the internship is 589440 UAH, hence, I require the organization to compensate this exact amount.
I have all the documents, contracts, and recipes which I can provide.
Please assist promptly.
Best regards,
Olena
aiesec kocaeli
There's lack of help from Aiesec Kocaeli managers. They can't even communicate in good English. We EP's paid a lot for this internship, yet, AIESEC don't work their butts off. They work slowly even for legal matters like residence permit. They talk to the government officer using Turkish language and EPs don't have any idea of what's really going on. They sent us a survey but there are guideline such as "if your answer is no for any of the criteria, please talk to us". If they deserve a NO, why there should be a talk? If they did their job, why should they worry about the survey? Also EP Buddy's aren't existent. If you ask them a simple help, they will just say "your EP buddy is this guy and I'm no longer responsible". WOW! Very robotic! I felt like Aiesec only work if you pay them!
aiesec aast cairo egypt
Dear Sir/ Madam
I'm a prospective candidate for this summer's exchange program. At my interview I tried to obtain all information before I accept the opportunity there but they promised me to provide it in few days but its almost month now and next month my opportunity starts. I have no information about my accommodation or my project details. Omar from AAST cairo Egypt never replies my email or message.
Ahmed Naseer VP of Aiesec is also informed about my situation.
Also I want to stay anonymous since my project will be starting and I don't want anything bad happen to me.
Sincerely.
A worried female!
internship opportunity
Hello. My name is Khrystyna Bodnaruk. I was an AIESEC intern in Kanya Gurukul in Kurukshetra, India in 2017. Lots of things had gone wrong and conditions of my internship had been changed by the administration of the school so that I left after working there for 2, 5 months. I got sick and couldn't proceed with my work. I informed AIESEC about that, I gave them a 2 weeks' notice, everything was done accordingly to the policy of the school. Still the school didn't pay me. I got a new opportunity in Delhi but I AIESEC Delhi couldn't arrange my documents there (I needed to change FRRO from Kurukshetra to Delhi) for 2 more months. I had to ask my friends to send me some money so that I had where to live and what to eat as I'd spent all savings by that time. Eventually I got asthma after the appearance of a smog, and had to leave India fast.
Today I got an email from some Indian AIESEC manager offering me to join this same Kanya Gurukul. It was a spam obviously but I'm deeply shocked that AIESEC is still working with them after all the problems I had to go through. They told me they couldn't help me at the time I was there. I'm literally bursting out of rage and offense.
sesame street english lies
This Chinese school, along with many others that have opportunities available on the Aiesec website, lie to people that it is ok and legal to come to China with anything else but a work visa.
They told me that an M/F visa would do just fine and always avoided giving me any further information on this topic.
Only after I looked it up online(the Chinese girl from Aiesec that was in charge with talking to the company avoided actually answering my questions or providing me with a website with reliable information about the visa) and assured me that everything was legal up until the moment I confronted her with actual information.
She first contacted me on the 10th of March and only 4 days later I found out myself the truth.
The name of the company is Sesame Street English.
The name of the girl I talked to is Emily and her Skype id is emily19980512
the email address she contacted me from: wu.[protected]@aiesec.net
mistreatment in an refund issue
To whom it may concern,
My name is Guanghui Ma, a student in University of Melbourne. I am here to complain the extremely unhappy experience I have with AIESIC Melbourne and AIESIC Australia.
The occurrences that ensued are as follows (I can provide evidence via messages on my phone if required):
This summer holiday from Dec 2017 to Feb 2018, I planned to join in a Chinese volunteer program — Hello Opera, held in Xiamen city because both my girlfriend and I are really engaged in Chinese opera. My EP manager in AIESIC Melbourne is Tam.
Firstly, I was constantly hassled by Tam to sign the contract and pay the money to AIESEC Australia. I paid it on October 28th (plus I did not receive the discount I was informed I would) and then on November 8th Tam asked me if I have "lived in China in the last 2 years". My reply to this was "No" since I have been here for 2 years with a Chinese Passport, holding a Student Visa. He then proceeded to tell me that I can still go to China for the program and messaged me that "I just hear from AIESEC Australia that if you haven't lived in China for last 2-10 years you still can be able to go to China. So to be safe, I would put info down as you haven't been in China for last 10 years". Since he is on the committee and an expert in this field and have been in Australia for the two years, I assumed that I can trust and rely on what he suggests. I have made Tam aware many times by constantly and repeatedly telling him that I hold a Chinese passport and am an international student. He ensured me that it is fine and I should not worry, so I trust that he is aware of the regulation and rules and I am eligible to partake in the program in China. Following this on 13th of November, AIESEC China explicitly told me that I cannot be accepted into their program due to my nationality and residential status. To my understanding, this is a serious problem so I immediately contacted Tam to tell him what I learned. He told me not to worry and that his leader informed him that "you will be able to go to this project regardless of your passport." Since AIESEC China rejected my application and I was no longer involved in the program, since it was terminated by no fault of my own, I wanted to get a full refund.
From the Roles and Responsibilities Clause of the Exchange Participant Contract, Section C, Part IX, I should have been provided with a copy of the Exchange Program Policies (XPP) and given assistance in understanding of the XPP, of which none was fulfilled. Should have the contents of these conditions been identified to me, I would not have signed this contract, risk losing $950 or endanger anything else.
Once I realised the seriousness of this issue, I keep urging Tam to help me to get the refund, but he replied to me this issue was beyond his ability because the money is kept by AIESIC Australia. Hence I asked him to give me the contact of whoever was in charge of this. Then he gave me the contact of Benjamin Chen who is the vice president of AIESIC Australia. I explained all the process of this event to him and hoped him to put himslef in my shoes. But actually, to my disappoitment, not only was him helpless but also tried to avoid trouble. From 20 Nov till now, I tried to call him more than 5 times, but he never received my call. From our our conversation, you will find that, I keeping talking with him, hoping he could help me but seldom got replies. Even when he was 'active' on Messenger, he never answerd my call or replied to me.
At last, I had no choice but to find others to help me. I tried to contact Jose Calpito and Sharleen Lay, both of them are vice presidents of AIESIC Australia. Thus, it is Sharleen Lay who signed my contract. Even more disppointted, Sharleen Lay never replied to me. But Jose Calpito was kind of relieable at first. He kept follow on Ben, urging him to reply to me.
On 7 Dec, I received an email from Ben. From this email, I just found that Tam, my EP manager, made up an unreal story and told lies to AIESIC Australia. At that find I just found the real face of Tam. On the one hand, he tried to earn my trust, on the other hand he was pinning all the faults on me to escape the blame from his boss. To tell you the truth, this made me so disgusting. I replied an email to Ben immediatelly to tell him the truth. Mealwhile, I sent a copy to Jose just in case. Ben replied to me on 7 Dec, telling me that' I am happy to offer you a full refund of the $950AUD' and On 8 Dec, he told me 'please allow 2-3 business days for the transfer to be finalised'. But the truth is until now 22 Dec, I still did not receive any refund from them. I tried contact Jose and Ben, but both of them ignored my request. (you can understand the whole thing from the conversation screenshot)
Overall, I mainly complain 3 points:
1. Your staff is selfish and unreliable. Tam, my EP manager made up an untrue story to avoid punishment.
2. Your staff is helpless. When I was stucked into trouble, trying to ask for help from Ben. But he just ignored my request.
3. Your staff's work is not efficient and like to delay issues. Everytime, Ben or Tam, they tried to set a date to slove my problem, but never did they keep their word.
At last, please do not hesitate to contact me to get the evidence or for any further questions. I am happy to appeal my case to the Board directly if necessary.
Regards,
Guanghui Ma
aiesec international / complaining about irresponsibility and lack of communication
I came as a EP for an internship as an English teacher in Istanbul Turkey, it's been two weeks now and i haven't been given any work description, no working hours schedule and whenever i ask the responsible at the school he says that they will let me know later and all i have to do is just observing, i didn't get my work contract yet and i think im not even considered as an official intern at school. Whenever i ask again they make me feel like if i am annoying them, once the head teacher told me simply that they don't have more classes to give me, that they had enough teachers already. I mean if they do why Aiesec did bring me here at first place. it is a non-sens.
Moreover the Aiesecers in istanbul are not responding at my messages at all and if they do it's after several days to make me wait for more time without any clarification for what's going on. Are they ashamed to tell me that the company doesn't want me anymore? is it normal to ignore me and watch me spending my money to the last penny?
I am running out of money and not even sure if i will get a sallary or not ( but obviously not since there i have no contract and no tasks to do). i paid for AIESEC to come here i want an explanation. i want someone to communicate with me. i request a refund.
Project is in : English Time Mecidiyecoy School in Istanbul (English teacher)
Arrival day : 7/11/2017
Work description : not given
Working hours: not given
Work contract : not given
AIESEC ENTITIES : not responding
i need to start working exactly as it was promised, i need a salary to pay the rent for next month.
Please do something!
Your organization can't just send people abroad for no reason, it's so bad for your reputation.
Best regards,
Hello! It is a bit late to answer to your post but I also had a bad experience with AIESEC and I'd like to know more about what happened to you. Would you be willing to get in touch?
Many thanks.
disorganization and lack of information
I arrived in Casablanca two weeks ago and I was suppose to start working at a particular NGO that I applied for. Since I arrived I keep asking questions of Aiesec managers and I was never informed with a concrete answer. I never knew when and how to start working. Then my questions and emails to both Turkish and Moroccan Aiesec services were not replied and I had nobody to ask about. By digging my emails I found a phone number and reached to an Aiesec responsible, she invites me to an NGO which was a different one than the promised. I go there twice and there is no work so I was sent back. Spending 10 days with no explanation in Casablanca, without any welcoming or questions regarding my situation... Please consider my complaint as soon as possible. I need a return for my time, money and effort and a considerable compensation.

mistreatment from the vp
I am a middle manager in AIESEC GUC EGYPT. I was mistreated by my VP, for q1q2 he kept promising things like caring about people and interns while nothing from his promises were done instead he mistreated me when i tried to express myself and complain .The EB could not care less about my complaint . AIESEC GUC does not respect its members and so action needs to be taken .
thanks in advance .
adene project in perak malaysia
My project was supposed to begin on the 2nd of july of this year, I reached 5 days late and it was their fault, and till now I haven't started the project yet, as for the accommodation I am staying in the utp as a temporary situation - in spite that the invitation letter says that we are gonna stay in utp - then the new accommodation is a village which is non humanitarian at all, ppl there can't speak or understand english, no adequate place to stay in
In addition, since I reached I didn't see any one of aiesec except the day I reached and they collected fees of the project
In fact what's happening here in perak is very owfel and I have taken the burdens of issues aren't my fault from the beginning
I also have another 7 friends with me, we are all complaining from the same things
Hoping you would reply asap and find a suitable solution
internship
Hello, I'm an Egyptian and hopefully will travel in two weeks to India. When I was talking to the people there they said there is no kitchen in our accommodation and that's a huge problem, however, I talked to my manager here in Egypt and he said he would solve this problem. Surprisingly, after two days of talking to him, I asked what he did and he was online on whatsapp but didn't reply, I waited four hours and he was still online but also didn't reply. I want to express my immense disappointment in this organisation as this person was supposed to help me out with any hindrance facing me, but unfortunately he just managed to ignore my messages and I can't reach anyone else to solve my problem. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon and also to overcome this frustrating issue.
complaining about my internship at global entrepreneur program in 6th of october egypt
Hii
My name is Mohd Noman Khan from New Delhi India, I came in Egypt for GE on 22nd of May 2017 under the Lc 6th of October Cairo Egypt.
I would like to file a report of fraud as I have been here for 16 days and they haven't provided me the internship yet, they asked me for 100 USD which I was even not told about for as the accomodation was free on the portal and also they are asking me to change my company for which I came here with no reasons specified.
I am contacting the vice president and they are not even replying I want my internship to start as soon as possible as my carrier depends on this.
And if they are unable to start it within 2days I want my refund of flight tickets, my 100usd, and my contract money and this is not the aiesec which I was told about.
And this is a serious case of fraud.
I want to know about the further proceedings as soon as possible.
Thank you
