I have the misfortune of having to deal with this company for my retirement. The company I left, as well as the company I have joined, both use Alight for retirement and yet it has been absolute torture to try to rollover my retirement. Trying to get ahold of a customer service rep is a nightmare. Sitting on hold for ages to try to It took a full business day calling between both employer Alight accounts repeatedly to try to get the necessary answers and paperwork. Once I finally got the check two weeks later, I sent the paperwork in only to hear nothing for two months before check was sent back due to a missing document that my previous employer (also Alight was to forward). Letter states I have to restart the whole process and the check is no longer good. This is the worst service I have ever experienced and it is clear from all the complaints I have found online that I am not alone in this experience.
