Mark is Very reputable person when it comes to this department. He gets the job completed and completed well!
So far - fantastic! Transportation advisor Mark) was super on top of everything, easy to reach, responsive, and helpful. Driver was easy to coordinate with directly, came on time, was super high energy and easy going, Car is being delivered tomorrow as promised. Great all around!
We needed to transport an open-top, 1943 Jeep from California to Virginia. We posted this on the internet and quickly multiple car transport brokers began contacting us to arrange the job. We soon learned that the brokers post the work opportunity on a closed site where the actual truck-transport drivers can see the pickup and drop-off location, as well as the amount the customer wants to spend.
We specified that we needed an enclosed transport trailer, despite the 50-60% price premium, because the vehicle is not weather-proof and is an antique. Numerous companies contacted us with open-transport bids (in the $1500 range) and we rejected these because we needed enclosed transport.
This process went on for more than a month before All State to State Auto Transport finally said they had located a driver who would bring the Jeep to us as an enclosed shipment for $2300. We agreed to this offer and signed a contract for $2300 for shipment specifying enclosed transport.
The vehicle arrived on time, but it was transported via an open trailer, had already been in a rainstorm in its transit cross country, and arrived just as a tremendous downpour began. Water had soaked the interior and damaged the stereo in the vehicle. We immediately questioned the truck driver, who said he was subcontracted to move our jeep as open-air transport. He showed us the contract to verify it. So, we called the broker to raise our concern and understand what went wrong.
All State to State Auto Transport kept us on the phone for more than 4 hours as we attempted to come to a resolution. We pointed out that they were in breach of our contract and that $2300 for open-air transport when the going rate was $1500 was not right, but they made no effort to adjust the price to that of current open transport rates, and insisted that we should be happy our vehicle arrived at all, even with the interior wet and ruined.
The driver had done nothing in error, and we had done nothing in error, but somehow the customer service agent, and then his manager, would not accept responsibility for their error. They messed up, they provided the wrong shipping for our classic open Jeep, but they refused to take responsibility for it. Instead, they alternated between putting us on hold for 10-20 minutes at a time and then repeating the same statements and acting as though they didn't understand our complaint. It was a wait-them-out-and-wear-them-down approach.
Finally after hours on the phone, the manager (someone who claimed the name "John A") agreed to a price of $1600 and committed to pay the remaining $400 that his company had contracted to the driver at a later time, so the driver handed us the keys and began his long trek home. But the driver warned us that this behavior isn't unknown the car shipment broker industry. They agree to one price with their customers, they offer a higher price to the truck drivers, and then when the vehicle arrives at its destination they leave it up to the truck driver to press the vehicle owners for a higher amount. If the car owners do not agree to this higher amount, the driver is instructed to re-load the vehicle and take it to a towing yard, or is left on the hook to lose the difference out of their own pocket.
This is absolutely criminal behavior -- bait and switch -- which may be prevalent in this industry, and that is why I have also reported it to FTC for further investigation. Unwitting Americans who rely on honest business practices can be pressured to spend hundreds of dollars more than what they initially agreed to while their vehicle is held hostage. We sacrificed more than 4 hours of time time in this incident because of the principle behind it. Bait and switch is just plain wrong.
This was very easy and Mark was very helpful! I had a great experience!
James was very professional dealing with shipping
James was very professional dealing with shipping. He answered all my questions without any worries. I highly recommend your company because you have an excellent representative like James G. Excellent customer service and he's very friendly. Thanks for your help James!
I had the pleasure to work with Mark shipping 2 of our cars from California to Florida on 2 separate occasions.
The first transition was quick and smooth so we trust him to transport our second car again. They responded promptly and their price is also very fair. I would recommend their service to all my friends and will use them again when we need to.
BEWARE: Avoid "All State to State Transport" and choose one of the million other Transport Brokers out there. Signed on the bottom line with them and they confirmed a date for pickup. No driver arrived. They confirmed another date - no driver arrived. We did this 4x and I pulled the plug on the order. Meanwhile I find out later that they had no driver secured and that was the reason no driver ever arrived. They had my job posted on central dispatch for a price I wasn't willing to pay in the first place and when I told them I was going with another company and to remove my Transport request from dispatch they simply wouldn't - even when asked multiple times. Poor and misleading communications, no follow through and no regard for customer service requests make this a Broker you should steer well clear of. Matthew W (if that's even his real name) was my representative.

If your looking for a transport company, I would highly recommend ALL STATE TO STATE AUTO TRANSPORT I have been working
If your looking for a transport company, I would highly recommend ALL STATE TO STATE AUTO TRANSPORT I have been working with them for the past 5 years, I have nothing but great things to say about them. They always give me the best rates, fast turn around times, but most importantly excellent customer service; always there to answer any question or doubt you might have, so if your looking for an auto transport company don't look elsewhere...ALL STATE TO STATE is the one.
They did exactly what they said they would do as far as price
They did exactly what they said they would do as far as price. It would have been nice to have a little more notice. The seller got a call they were on the way and luckily he was going to be there. But not to pick at them they did overall very good service and was a faster pick up and better price than anyone else. As far as using them again I will! You pay the driver when he delivers and dont get a receipt and I was a little concerned about that but it worked out fine. The driver was VERY nice and and the car is where it belongs! Thanks All State to State!
