I was almost gonna make a deal with them until I read the lease contract they sent me to sign
I was almost gonna make a deal with them until I read the lease contract they sent me to sign. What a joke. They can do whatever they want with the equipment they help you get, even change ownership without asking you, then charge you a ton of money with crazy interest. And in the end, you still don't own it or have to buy it from them at some price they decide is "fair." I don't get how they got an A+ review like some of these other people are saying. I'm just trying to start a small business for a better life, and they're taking advantage of that. No thanks, Alliance. They should change their name too because they're not really allied with your company at all.

I got money from this company, Alliance Funding Group, to buy a machine on a lease
I got money from this company, Alliance Funding Group, to buy a machine on a lease. They said there's no penalty for paying it off early. I already paid them more than $12,000. Yesterday, I called them to find out how much I still owe, and they said it's $68,402.54. I don't get it. How can I owe double what I borrowed when I already paid $12,000? The machine didn't even cost $40,000 in the first place. I checked my contract, and it doesn't say anything about this. The guy I dealt with doesn't work there anymore because he found out how shady the company is. I can't get answers from anyone else. I asked for a manager or the company president to call me, but no one has. Nobody at this company will give me any answers. I have emails where I tried to contact them, and I called them too.
I had a 5-year lease on some equipment that ended in November
I had a 5-year lease on some equipment that ended in November. I called to find out how much it would cost to buy it out, and they gave me a total that was almost the same as what I paid for the equipment 5 years ago. The contract says it should be based on the fair market value. I sent them some prices I found online for the same equipment being sold and the trade-in value from the equipment company, but they won't budge on the price. I can't seem to reach an agreement with them. I don't know where else to go. I told them they could take the equipment back, but they said I have to deliver it to them. The equipment is a big car lift that can't be returned easily. I'm not sure what to do. The equipment cost that was financed was *** with a monthly payment of *** for 60 months, so they made about ***k on the lease. Now they want an additional 12k, even though the trade-in value is *** and the equipment can be bought used for 4k to 6k on ***. I don't want to pay them that much, I just want to pay what it's worth on the market. I offered them ***, but they don't want to work with me. Thanks
In 2018, I bought a cement mixer from *** Systems
In 2018, I bought a cement mixer from *** Systems. Systems don't finance the equipment purchase, so they gave me a few contacts for financing. One of those contacts was Alliance Funding in So Cal. I worked with a rep named *** at Alliance. (He's not there anymore.) I had lots of conversations with *** about buying the equipment, and I also emailed him the quote from my bank, PMB. *** said he could beat my bank's rate. Aarons emails quoted a rate of 4.5%, compared to my bank's rate of 4.9%. So, I decided to go with Alliance for this purchase. *** was gone, and now I was dealing with *** in the "finance" department. He sent me the proposal that *** and I had discussed, but it didn't mention the interest rate. The proposal said the transaction cost was ***, which was the remaining purchase price after the down payment to *** Systems. The payment was *** for 48 months, which adds up to *** in total payments plus interest. I asked *** why the proposal said "lease," and he told me it's a purchase, but they call it a *** buy out lease. Then Zack *** from the "funding department" started contacting me about the "purchase agreement" for the machinery from mixer systems, and they asked us multiple times for proof of the down payment we had already made. *** and others called and emailed us, saying we needed to get this funded before the rates went up. My payment wasn't *** like the proposal said, but now it's ***. *** said it's basically the same rate my bank offered, so we agreed to move forward. My complaint isn't about the rate. I made all 48 payments, which added up to ***, but the ach deductions didn't stop. They also extended the contract automatically because they said I didn't cancel it. Now they're saying it's a lease and they want ***, so basically they want 200k for a *** purchase. This company is unethical, and I recommend staying away from them for any financing needs.
