This notice is to formally request a refund from Altice regarding the above-mentioned account. This account was in my name. I opened this account for my brother who lived alone at the service address. I paid the bill each month via automatic bank draft. I have been a long time and in good standing Suddenlink/Altice customer.
My brother, Daniel Larry Bubbus passed away [protected]. On [protected], I called Altice to notify that the resident using the Altice services had passed away and to stop all services immediately. The equipment was returned to the brick and mortar store the same week. I understand that Altice requires all customers to pay for services in advance. I also have been told that Altice has a policy to not refund monies for services regardless of the stop date requested by their paying customers. I strongly disagree with this policy. In my opinion, the company collects and keeps the funds paid for services not provided! Also, distinctly a blatant policy to keep customers money in an unfair method. Altice chooses to only adjust and/or make corrections to accounts on the billing period end date. I strongly disagree with this policy. Again, for the same reason, it gives Altice the monetary advantage, and cheats the paying customer of receiving the funds paid.
I RESPECTFULLY REQUEST A FULL REFUND OF THE UNUSED DAYS THAT WERE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE FOR SERVICES NOT USED ON THE ACCOUNT 07701-250079-16-7 listed in my name, Teresa Harris at the mailing address correctly listed on the account (75 Mackey Pl, Russellville AR 72802) via USPS at your earliest convenience.
