I bought an item from Amazon.fr on 5th Sept 2023 for €451.62. The item was not delivered, which Amazon know. After 4 days (13th Sept) I contacted them through their webchat and was offered a refund. They said I could have my payment card refunded or put the refund in my Amazon gift account. Due to the large sum I chose my payment card to be refunded. They did not do that and just put it in my gift account. I raised this again on the chat and after 5 hours I was told it was their error and my money would be refunded to my payment card. Amazon removed the refund from my gift account but have not paid the money back to me. I have asked and asked, I have contacted them through Facebook 12 days ago, but all they do is apologise, tell me it is being investigated and I hear nothing back from them and still no refund. I have enclosed the full transcript, I am sorry it is so long but I was on the Amazon chat for 5 hours. I have spoken to (Latest count) 13 different Amazon agents, and none have arranged the refund.
Desired outcome: Receive my refund as agreed by Amazon, back to my payment card.
