I have received an unsolicited phone call telling me I have won 3.5 mil dollars and
a 2014 Mercedes. Requested I submit $3500 - never got an answer as to where it
was to be sent. Due to my refusal to send money to anyone they (I spoke to 3 different
people trying to convince me this was legitimate) devised a different method which
was to purchase a green dot money pack scratch card at CVS store for $3500 which
I would retain until their team arrived to convey a $3.5 mil certified check. I still am very
skeptical and don't trust this offer at all. I'd like your opinion. [protected]@att.net

Similar experience, but was told I won 5.5 mil. (tax-free!) plus a Mercedes Benz to be paid to me @ $5K per week for the rest of my life, which could be passed on to a person of my choice after I died! All I needed was $500 up front (cheap, right?) Sounded FAR TOO GOOD to be true, so I checked w/ BBB and they had 6 reports of such scams from American Cash Awards, who had a rating of "F" for Fraud. So beware ANY company asking for money up-front!

I have had the same call, I see it was resolved but what was the outcome please.
Received an unsolicited call from American Cash award a man named Tony Washington proceeded to give me prize information specifically $5 million $250,000 cash $7,000 a week for life and a Mercedes Maybach. Call me several times to confirm my interest and when I refused to purchase a gift card for $500 I then informed Mr Tony Washington that I would be calling the police. If American Cash award is legit business they should pursue and prosecute the individuals who are using their business name to commit fraud and scams this needs to be corrected
I just received the same phone call was the different name and a restricted phone number. He said I had to pay 350 dollars to post office box or something like that in order to hold the letter that would be delivered tomorrow. I told them that he could call me back after I checked Google to see if this would show up as a scam. While I was looking it up the phone was ringing and ringing in ringing and as usual it showed up to be a scam. He was arguing with me and telling me that it wasn't true that it was a different side blah blah blah yelling at me. I told him he wasn't listening to me either and so he told me to get off of his line and so I hung up on him. I knew it was a scam usually is.
