American Medical Association [AMA] cristus trinity mother frances, tyler texas

Surgeries HURT. When did Tylenol alone become an acceptable pain reliever the day after open heart surgery? (yes, you read me correctly - Tylenol)

On April 3 my wife, Rayette Montgomery, was admitted to TMF (Trinity Christus Mother Frances/Peaches and Owen Heart Clinic, Room 323, Tyler Texas) by Dr Leiberman (cardiologist) for a surgery to be performed by Dr Turner (surgeon). She has an extremely severe codiene allergy and I honestly thought one reason for the early admission was to develop a solution to this before heart surgery was performed using a bone saw then a rib spreader to access her heart muscle.
Man, was I ever wrong.

I'm sure you've had the flu, if so you're familiar with projectile vomiting. When I refer to my wife as having a severe codiene allergy, that's the reaction I'm referring to. Her doctors knew this. My wife and I told them numerous times. It had actually happened at a TMF emergency room before. Knowing this, they were prepared to subject her to this mere hours after one of the most horrific surgeries in the world!

Her April 4 surgery was performed by Dr Turner, when it was completed he came into the surgery waiting area with his report and to tell me the hospital didn't allow visitors the first 24 hours to avoid contaminating a sterile intensive care room, me included. I'd expect no less. Dr Turner did, however, tell me TMF expected me to be with her during her recovery. Once I'd looked in on her I went home and returned early the next morning prepared to stay the next several days.

After I'd arrived early the next morning and found my wife sleeping I stepped out of the room for just a few minutes, when I returned she'd been awakened by a nurse who asked that I help reposition my wife and rearrange her bedding, pillows, etc. Of course I helped her. Meanwhile, never once introducing himself, a man in a white lab coat that I naturally assumed was a doctor walked into the room and began pacing, chin propped upon his fingertips, extolling the benefits of IV tylenol for pain relief while my wife literally cried tears of pain. I was absolutely floored when he seriously suggested that my wife, who was, literally, in tears, be treated with Tylenol for the pain of open heart surgery less than 24 hours earlier. That it was even being considered for use upon a patient, any patient, less than 24 hours after such a grueling surgery, still in Intensive Care and being monitored by an IC nurse 24/7, was absolutely unbelievable. I'll never be able to wrap my head around that nonsense! After several failed attempts to even be acknowledged, finally I made no attempt to be polite when I told him she didn't have a headache, that she'd just been ripped from stem to stern with a bone saw then spent hours having her chest cavity prized apart with a rib spreader! She was in need of pain relief, NOT 2 ASPIRIN! And certainly not something that, several times in the past, had guaranteed 8 hours of projectile vomiting!

I'll never apologize for being angry. My wife was in tears due to the pain, what was I supposed to do? I'd asked repeatedly for someone from hospital administration to rectify this garbage.
What sane person wouldn't have been angry?
What sane person shouldn't have been angry?
What was I supposed to do?

In that same time period an anesthesiologist came into the room and, he and the "doctor", began bombarding my wife with questions which she was too groggy to even understand, certainly none of which she was coherent enough to give an informed answer to. Had I not been in the room and spoken up very forcefully, he and, what I thought was a doctor, would have caused my wife to spend 8 hours dry-heaving into a bedpan while her sternum was laced together as if it were a saddle!

It gets even better. At some point security was called, they were so concerned that it took over 20 minutes before they came wandering into room 323 to save everyone from a man who has still not recovered from a stroke! Several times I'd asked to see someone from hospital administration, to no avail. I was eventually escorted into the hallway, where I kept asking to see someone from administration, a charge nurse was summoned instead. She stuck her head inside room 323 and immediately accused me of damaging a piece of equipment, demanding I leave the 3rd floor. I'd done no such thing. Luckily for me the younger nurse who'd been present throughout this entire fiasco spoke up immediately to agree that I'd done no such thing. Finally security suggested I go downstairs and cool off (probably a good idea) so I took the elavator down to floor #1 and went to reception and asked the volunteer if he could put me in touch with hospital management. I was unaware that security, who'd apparently taken the next elevator, was within earshot of me as I asked the gentleman at reception how I could reach hospital administration. At that point I was banned from TMF property, apparently for asking how to reach administration. That's the only thing it could've been, my voice was modulated to the point the gentleman in reception had trouble hearing me.

Though I'd asked several times, and continued to ask, it quickly became apparent that not involving management was paramount. Through out this entire ordeal, between 30 and 45 minutes on 3rd floor alone, there was no shortage of concern that this fiasco remain contained and that management not be "bothered" with it. At the same time, throughout this entire ordeal, not one hospital employee expressed a word of concern for my wife. Not One Employee. Not One Word.

Not one person concerned themselves with my wife's health. Or her pain. Their only concern was that they'd been offended.

*BTW, the person I naturally assumed was a doctor turned out to be a PHYSICIAN'S ASSISTANT, one with no qualms about allowing people to infer that he is a doctor. He certainly didn't introduce himself to the only unimpaired person in the room. Nor did he direct his barrage of questions to that person, i.e. me. Her husband. Her designated contact.

I've had some personal experience with surgical procedures and the excruciating pain that accompanies. I've personally had 5 operations on my spine, rotator cuff surgery, numerous broken ribs, etc, and even I can't imagine a bone saw through the sternum and a rib spreader. To suggest this be done then treated with TYLENOL is absolute lunacy. Farm animals are treated with more compassion. PETA would throw a fit if a dog were treated this way! The families of Drs Tucker and Leiberman certainly wouldn't be treated this way.

I responded to a ridiculous situation not of my creation, a ridiculous situation created by the employees of Christus Trinity Mother Frances hospital. I've tried numerous times to resolve this through proper channels only to be met with one lie after another; my first phone call to 903-593-8441 [that was supposed to be returned by noon the next day] was finally returned after 3 days. That attempt was supposed to lead to the creation of a file, an investigation, and a response in writing within 10 business days, after 14 days with no reply I called back. There was no file, no investigation, and the person had no idea who I was.
I was transferred to an answering machine which, again, promised to return my call by noon the next day.
After 3 more days and no response I called 903-593-8441. Again.
After 3 more days I called 903-593-8441 again and left another message to be returned by noon the next day. Again.
Three more days went by with no response and I tried 1 last time. I'm still waiting for that call to be returned.

Maybe there's a problem with 903-593-8441, I don't know. It seems to be operational from my end. The only thing I'm sure of is that I was the only person in Room 323 who was concerned about MY WIFE, that she not be treated with less compassion than a farm animal. I only responded to the ridiculous circumstances created by Christus Trinity Mother Frances and it's employees. For the sin of presenting the correct response to an unbelievably ridiculous situation I sat at home and worried myself sick about my wife's health/recovery for a week! A week I should have spent sitting right beside her! Pardon the hell out of me that I'm angry about that!

Thank you, Keith Montgomery

American Medical Association [AMA] mri readings

I am not complaining about doctors. This is about being charged twice for MRI readings.
I had an MRI of the shoulder done in Carson City, NV where it was cheaper than having it done at Mammoth Lakes hospital, CA (close to where I live.) I was thus charged once for reading it in Carson City, then charged again for reading the same thing at Mammoth Hospital. How can that be? This doesn't happen with laboratory results.
My conclusion is that this is a way for the technicians and or radiologists to make their money. What a scam. I can't wait for AI (artificial intelligence ) to replace this lot of thieves that takes advantage of patients because we have no choice. Shame, shame on you.

American Medical Association [AMA] sexual misconduct

The incident occurred at South Orange OBGYN and Fertility in South Orange New Jersey. 973-763-4334

In 2011 I went to my GYN, Dr.Michael T. Dresdner for a urine test result. He was not available I had to see Dr. Stanley R. Simon since it was only a test result. Dr. Simon told me that his nurse, Denise Inge, could not find the test results and that he had to perform a "special" exam. I was supposed to receive a urine test result.
Without going into details, Dr. Simon turned off the lights and assaulted me with the nurse in the room.

I reported the incident to the office manager, Eileen Santos, immediately. I also requested that Dr. Dresdner call me since he was my regular doctor. I have not heard from Dr. Dresdner. I have been fighting since 2011 to have them come to justice.

A police report is available on demand as well as a court appearance transcript on April 2nd 2019 and 3rd.
I have also started a Facebook page named "Clear" to bring the incident to light.

My PCP refferred me to Dr. Brian Boes, he was rude, condescending and laughed at me 2-3 times during the initial interview of symptoms. He spoke over me, I couldnt tell him half of the symptoms I've been experiencing AND refused to tell my what my MRI scans showed and also refused to look at the pictures I had brought to show (he moved the pictures out of...

American Medical Association [AMA] failure to provide an explanation of benefits

PROBLEM: DOS 11/3-4/18 I received and paid a bill DUE NOW from "Inpatient Consultants of MD" 4605 Lankershim Blvd. Ste 216 North Hollywood, CA 91602-1877 for 718.00 for Dr. Hannah Acquah/Ronny Khatkar and Fikre Degefu MD for observation care at Holy Cross Hospital in Germantown, MD. This bill was never submitted to Insurance Carefirst BCBS. Both Carefirst BCBS (claim # [protected]) and I have called them at 888-952-6772 accnt [protected] more than 10 times to submit the claim or send us the information EOB for us to submit the claim. Each time they tell us they are processing but nothing happens. It has been several months. I do not know what else to do except contact the hospital directly (which I have done today) and then file a legal compliant against this practice. MAYBE, someone from the AMA can help get this resolved?
I expect the claim to be filed and a refund to myself of amount owed me after deductible and co pays are met for 2018.
Please feel free to contact me for more information.

She has never ordered an EKG or any other test to check his heart.
She justs judges him and writes he is noncompliant.
She should go to law school if she wants to be a judge.
She either needs to go back to school or she has no heart herself and does not care.
This is information she shouold have learned in CPR class.

CPR certification may be lapsed.
Doctor unwilling to listen to patient complaints.
Doctor uses noncompliant diagnosis for many patients as she is unwilling to listen.
This doctor is very judgemental of her patients.

American Medical Association [AMA] unethical / unprofessional behavior

Dr. Gant was assigned by the state to provide an unbiased expert opinion through a Nueropsychological evaluation. Mr. Gant apparently assesses patients over the internet while wearing pajamas in the comfort of his residence, and attempted to conduct the intake assesment with the TV blaring in the background. Mr. Gant made inappropriate comments about injured patient to the colleague/Physician who was administering the test, prior to the start of the evaluation, thus creating a biased opinion about the case prior to performing the exam. The office visit experience with Dr. Gant and his associate was demeaning, degrading, and unethical evidenced by the blatent defiance exhibited throughout the course of the evaluation. American Medical Association [AMA] dr. lara kollab

Dr. Lara Kollab has posted anti-Semitic messages on social media for several years, and has stated that she purposely gave Jews the wrong medicine. She also indicated Jews should die. Purposely giving Jews the wrong medicine is a violation of her oath, and she should lose her license to practice medicine. She worked at Cleveland Clinic and no longer does, but she still does charity work. Here's a link to the news story about this issue.

American Medical Association [AMA] doctor medical providers requiring patients to sign waivers electronically when patient cannot see what they are agreeing to when signing

I live in burlington county in nj more and more doctor offices and medical providers are requiring patients to sign electronically on small devices that do not show what the patient is signing agreement to i have most recently been to cooper medical on jfk in willingboro and jefferson dorfner on sunset road. When i had to sign at cooper i asked the staff if my agreement covered financial terms and she said no afterward i asked for copies and she said all she could give me was a sample copy of what i signed and i got very upset because i had just signed financial agreement terms without being able to read it first. I believe these offices are violating patient and consumer rights and i dont see how anyone can be held legally responsible when they are not given an opportunity to read what they are signing and they are not provided with copies all signatures obtained through this method should legally be considered null and void for legal enforcenent against patients thank you joyce frigen my phone is [protected]

American Medical Association [AMA] doctor failed to the remove ruptured dermoid cyst and treat ruptured, and leaving me to hysterectomy.

I went in for a one day procedure on October 6, 2016 to remove a dermis cyst from my left ovary. I went for my 2 week check up on October 20, 2016 and i told my doctor and the student that was in my room that I was having high fever, Assessive sweats, chills, head ache, very bad back pain, Numbness on my right side of my body, stomach pain, Nausea, vomiting, and feeling very weak. She told me that what I was feeling was normal and that recovery would take up to 6 to 8 weeks. She looked at my incisions and said that it looks good and that I'm healing nicely. I asked how was the procedure? because I didn't see her after and she didn't tell me how it went when she came into the room. The doctor told me with her hand fanning her nose that it was messy but everything went well. See me next year. I asked if I was supposed to get a sonogram and she said no see you next year. My family and I lefted my appointment. Maybe a week or 2 I called the doctor and lefted her a message but I didn't receive any calls back. As the weeks went by I felt like I was dying. By the eighth week I called my doctor again and no answer so I went to Jersey city medical center and they attended me on November 28th 2016. They gave me a ct scan, blood work, drain multiple abdominal abscesses due to my doctor not cleaning the Ruptured cyst. They placed a drain and kept me on antibiotics and blood thinners due to a blood clot from the process. I complained that my belly button felt funny. Like itching and swelling for three days and they said I was fine. I was sent home nine days later to experience what I was feeling in my belly button was an abscess behind my boy button that was a bacteria trying to find its way out. I have pictures of day by day how it formed into a big push bump and burst . I was back at Jersey city medical center on December 10, 2016. They examined me. I had another drain inserted. They transferred me to St. barnabas medical center. They examined me, went for testing, they primed a bed side procedure and cut and inserted a piggy table drain in my belly button. I was given a picc line and sent home after twelve days with a home nurse. Continued my appointments and 4 weeks I wasn't feeling any better so I checked myself in St. Barnabas emergency room. I had a ct scan with contact, x ray, rectal exam for the Abscess there, and blood work. I was admitted February 2017. After I got back from my ct scan with contrast i was put into another room in the emergency room where i started itching very bad. I couldn't stop. My eyes got blood shot red. I finally was giving a room. When I got there I asked the nurse for allergy medication because I thought I broke out from the contrast from when I took my ct scan. Two days after they moved me to an isolated room and my doctor told me that I caught MRSA there. I was sent home with a nurse. I was token off all medications after 6 weeks. By the 7th week I check my self back into St. Barnabas emergency room and had all exams done and I had to have A full hysterectomy was done to me and removal of appendix. And a piece of my rectal taken out because of the absces sthere. My intestines was infused together. Now I suffer from depression because my husband and I wanted to have more children. I'm was only 33 yrs of age when this happened to me. It's not fear that my life have to be like this. I will never be the same. My doctor at the time need to take full responsibility for the careless, unprofessional act that she played. I will not give up fighting for what I deserve.

American Medical Association [AMA] presence st. joseph hospital 333 n madison street, joliet, illinois

I have now been admitted twice into this hospital because of lies from this establishment I have paperwork that shows much conflicting information on why I was admitted twice this year for supposed overdoses, but the paperwork and labwork do not constitute. I also found that both times A MYOCARDIAL INFARCT is STILL present, which means they knew about this from my February visit. Not to mention that this same hospital admitted me for Diabetic Keto Acidosis for three days and I am not even diabetic. I cannot safely call 911 without being taken there, and with my medicare they will look for any excuse to admit me. They also told me I was responsible for $7600.00 of the most recent visit because I do not have Medicaid. I have Medicare and they know it as they have been billing them on me for the past 8 years!

American Medical Association [AMA] unethical behavior

Dr. Craig Kestenberg, Psychiatrist at Pillars/Community Nurse in Lagrange Illinois.

09/13/2018

The doctor refused to refill my prescriptions that he put me on, especially benzodiazapine/Xanax. Going through terrible withdrawals. He is responsible for me when prescribing these kinds of medications. I have been with him for roughly 1 year..

I went to my scheduled appointment 09/13/2018 at 9:30am.

Mr. Craig Kestenberg brought in a Triage nurse in our session, this is twice he has done this without my authorization, against the hippa act. He refused me treatment due to going to IOP and detox that he suggested. He was rude to me, arrogant and refused any more subscriptions. I never have abused any of the medication he has given me. I am on a benzodiazapine that an cause seizures if stopped abruptly. He basically said he's done with me and left me on these horrific mediations and I am completely stressed over this. Just the mere fact that he told me this triage nurse was his new partner was a complete lie. I think this warrants an investigation, this is a federally funded care clinic, they change employees like you change your socks. I am seeking media attention on this as well as an attorney. I already filed with the AG, Hippa, APA, better business hope this will be investigated.
I am not under any other doctors care whatsoever.

American Medical Association [AMA] disrespectful treatment by a physician.

I have been a patient of Dr Pace, Lincoln, NE, for 10 years. Recently I tried to renew a prescription. The pharmacy explained to me that he will not renew the prescription; I am no longer his patient. I have not made an appointment for around 18 months and wonder if that is the reason. I will never know. I have left two voice mail messages for the nurse to contact me to attempt to clarify the issue. My calls have never been returned. I am 67 and I have never been treated so atrociously by any physician.

My Wife has gone to pain management for approx. 6 months taking the med he prescribed . She also took another pain med from our primary Dr. Every month she has told the pain clinic about this med, they didn't tell her not to take this med untIL she had taken a urine test for the second time with same results. This Pac then told her he would cut her back with the med until weened completely off. Not giving her a chance to correct the error. I MYSELF had a first appointment with this same person and without asking questions about my pain and the med I take, he said I would be cut back almost half, which I am also in extreme pain from numerous injuries . I have been under impression pain management was to help with your pain not just reducing your med so your in more pain . This Pac is being extremely UNETHICAL AND NEEDS HIS LICENCE REVOKED. No wonder our injured military people are committing suicide from their pain because of so called doctors like this guy. Date of incident 8/27/18

American Medical Association [AMA] patient care

someone has been receiving medical treatment for chronic pain at a Pain center. The physician dismissed you due "lack of confidence with staff" and "violations of contract agreement ". States due to your medical conditions and need for follow up treatment you should immediately seek care of another physician States you will be under his care until 8/25/18 for emergency services only. Doesn't answer phone after hours. You received phone call on 7/25/18. Refuses to give you a RX of your medication until new physician can be found. States medication you were on is not life threatening. Nurse states you can from your family Dr (who does not provide pain management and is working on new referral ). Everyone in the real world knows "immediate" doesn't happen. The patient can be without medication for weeks. Is this ethical? Especially if Pt has been on daily pain meds for 5+ years and is at risk for withdrawal and will be in pain until new physician is found. The Pt has fibromyalgia. Inoperable back pain and joint pain

American Medical Association [AMA] kadlec er

I was seen at Kadlec Region ER on 395 N. in Kennewick WA. on Dec. 28th 2017.

Left ankle and foot injury. I was seen by an R.N. He brought in a portable x-ray unit. They took a couple of non- weight bearing x-rays of the foot. After about 45 minutes the Nurse came back to tell me the ankle was sprained and sent me on my way. No treatment for the ankle and it was visibly discolored and quite swollen. No wrap no crutch no ace bandage nothing.

I received follow up care on Ja. 8th 2018 at Tri Cities Ortho Clinic in Kennewick. They then took weight bearing x- rays and found a couple of broken bones in the top of my left foot. I was given an orthopedic boot and an appointment to return in 3 weeks. I then received an MRI of the foot, and another bone was found to be fractured and the tendons and ligaments were frayed.

Then one June 28th of 2018 I had a nuclear bone study done at Kadlec out -patient building at 945 Goethals, in Richland WA. At that time the radiologist that read the study gave a written report of a nuclear study I had done in July of 2013 for my shoulder, neck and ribs. I made three phone calls trying to get the correct report to go with the study of my feet and ankles. It finally came down to a face to face meeting with a manager of radiology on July 1st.
