Sterling silver poppy soli ring
On the 26th june I bought a ring... I struggled to get the size for my fingers but the person offered me a ring nd she said I could return it after my wedding day so I take it she knew about the ring problem... I took the ring to the store to be fixed on the 18th sept then I went to fetch it on the 26th sept but still the same place where the ring is supposedly to be fixed is broken. Same place so I take it american swiss sold me a ring that has a problem. Im not happy at all.

Hi I bought a ring last week surtuday at American Swiss musina branch the ring was small and they send it for repair,they send me an sms yesterday 3 november 2023 that ma ring was ready for collection .when I get there my ring was different looking fake and cheap when I sad to the sales lady that I want an exchange or refund she said they don't do exchange in reality am nolonger want that ring it looks fake I won't wear that ring for my wedding please I need help so that they give me my money or exchange it
Unauthorised charge
On Saturday, 14 October 2023, I went to collect two rings at American Swiss Otjiwarongo.
When I got there I was told that the ring I wanted a quote on has already been fixed and that the workshop made the decision for me. The second ring I asked to be send with was not even send and still at the store.
As well my name and surname in the system was wrong and while I told the employees that they blatantly ignored me or just shrugged while not believing me, which meant I had to show all my identification documents on me.
I told them I refuse to pay for something I did not ask for.
Desired outcome: I would like to have my second ring send to be fixed and then not have to pay for either, since at first they disregarded what I wanted and have my information deleted from the data basis
Ring enlargement
My name is Isabella Tjihenuna on 29/09/2023 I bought a ring cash at American Swiss in Grootfontein from Anna. She measured me with a round metal and sent the ring for enlargement to Windhoek. Then she called me after two weeks that the ring was ready. I came to collect the ring but it was still small don't know how she measured me or how she wrote the measurement there I don't know as I don't work with it. Then I told her that the ring was still small and how she measured I don't know she told me that she would resend it again. Then today she called me and told me that the people in Windhoek told her that first I have to pay the first enlargement fee so that they can enlarge it again for me to pay for a second time. I don't understand why I should pay twice for the fault that is not mine.

This was the date I sent my 2 watches in. My Casio watch went in for repair of the face (glass) and the strap. I've been waiting for a quote on this repair but absolutely no one came back to me! My Fossil watch also went in on this day for repair of the glass and the strap, the pins keep falling out. Everytime I phone the shop they tell me that they are waiting for feedback. When I want to speak to the manager he/she is never there. I'm extremely disappointed and will be taking further action. How absolutely nobody can give me any information is complete and utter nonsense!

Unnecessary charges
I have made several attempts to speak to American Swiss over charges that are coming off my bank account, which I have cancelled over the telephone and went to the branch to get these charges cancelled as the service is no longer required. Yet they still bill me, everytime I have to phone and get this issue resolved, I do not have the time to do this all the time, get people that actually work is this government where nothing gets done.
I don't trust American Swiss I will never take an account with them again.
Desired outcome: Refund all monies, cellphone charges, etc that I incurred because your staff has to be babysitted. It's not my problem, your staff is not doing their work, but I have to spend the time, effort and money on it. That's daylight robbery.

Incorrect price on rings
Today, 15 Aug 2023 in the afternoon, I went to American swiss in Graaff Reinet, Eastern Cape. Me and my husband wanted to renew our vows., so we decided so purchase a ring from your company. In your display window, a diamond ring was marked down from R3999 to R1999. When I wanted to pay for the ring, the cashier told me the price is incorrect... the correct price is R2500. I'm very unhappy with your service, because we traveled 160 km just to buy the ring, only to find out that the price has increased on your system. The lady asked for my ID number, so maybe you can track the time of the incident.
Desired outcome: Customer must pay the price as advertised.
Product and service
I am completely dissatisfied with my experience at American Swiss Gateway Umhlanga. The staff is not friendly at all, they stand in a group gossiping and chatting in store instead of attending to customers. I've bought a pair of gold earrings from them in September 2022 and their customer service was terrible. They don't seem willing to talk to customers. I have just bought a gold wedding ring from them and the sales lady yet again was unfriendly. The ring was sent for resizing and was made the wrong size and I still had to pay. I phoned to check in our the ring and I was met with complete unprofessionalism by the sales agents on the phone.
Desired outcome: Better service and an apology for the mistake with my wedding ring two weeks before my wedding.

On the 4th of August 2022 I bought 2 wedding bands because they were on 75% sale, I then went to American Swiss at Westwood mall I bought 1 there they than checked on their system where to buy another one they found one in West Street, I went to West Street on the same day only to find the very same time ring I bought for R1500 at Westwood it was R3744 at West,
I bought it because I felt I had no choice since I had already purchased 1 at Westwood,I feel that my right as a customer was violated by this shop , on top of that I went to bind them with my wedding rings only to find that the American Swiss ones are 5ct yet I thought they were 9ct I was so disappointed by all this.

Watch adjustment
My husband took his brand new watch to american swiss Klerksdorp to have the band adjusted. The lady took the watch to the back and after 30 minutes came back and said he must go to another shop as she cant adjust it.. He took the watch and went to another shop when he got there he saw the pin was bent and broken. Now what can we do with a brand new watch that he cant wear. How is the staff there not trained to help you and then damage your stuff?

American swiss gift voucher card
So I had a gift voucher n due to COVID is cud not redeem the voucher. So I went in to American swiss Phoenix plaza branch and the ladies assisted n helped renew the couch due to no fault of mine. But somehow I was held up n wallet was taken away n contents scattered on the road. I found my other cards like the sorbet gift voucher n the checkers extra savings and one American swiss voucher. I assumed that it was the correct one however, it was not. So as a company do you not keep track of vouchers handed out at specific stores? Cos ladies at phoenix branch advise they cannot locate the details asuch as I understand it not easy but there cud be some way by which we can locate this card number. I'm being shut down and told unfortunately they cannot assist. I find this so improper as customer service. We work then FF systems n surely there is a record somewhere or some sort of apoee trail. As a massive company one shud have info to tally n see that funds in tills correspond. This is frustrating cos it's the value of R600 or R699. The Phoenix X plaza branch is so incompetent. Look back at gift cards issued n track from there. So as a customer I lose out value n product but as a business American swiss gains. What is the consumer policy? Where is Customer care ? Do u assume I will continue shopping know I was robbed. Look at paper trails on voucher numbers. This is no spaza store it's to say cannot locate details u have systems...check

I’ve purchased a chain from American Swiss westwood , westville last month the 10th of June 2023 two weeks later I returned the chain because I weren’t happy I returned it for a refund , ever since I’ve been waiting for my money they took the item back but have not given back the money everytime we phone the store or go there they tell us they don’t have cash in the till we must come with a credit card. Mind you it was a cash purchase and we would like it back in cash up and till now the store hasn’t got back to us we must always phone , their customer service is terrible and they’ve done nothing to help but keep the money and the item.
