customer service, uncomfortable stay, giving out personal information
I have stayed at this property over a week. The first day my personal information/ room number was given out without any reguard to who it could have been. I could have seriously been in danger. And that happen twice, I have had to go through days uncomfortable inside certain rooms due to roaches, and because I have spent my money and didn't get what I paid for.. No one has offer discount or anything and that is not right.

One employee followed me to the back door to yell at me because I was letting my sister and her SERVICE dog in the back door. After I already checked with other employees who told me it was okay to use the door. The employee argued with me insisting we could not bring the dog inside. We got this cleared up and the next night our neighbors partied until after 12am! I kept calling the front desk complaining about the noise but they did nothing. Meanwhile I'm paying $100 a night for this!

The most DISGUSTING hotel I have ever stayed at! I took multuple pictures. Holes in the walls, ripped curtains, broken lights, mildew in tub, ceiling falling down, broken beds, stains on the sheets, stains on chairs, dirty floor, old nasty pillows, cigarette burn holes in comforters, no phone in room... I could go on and on...owner obviously doesn't care or lives like this also!

My name is Cheryl Mayfield, email address [protected]@gmail.com. On August 28th, 2019, I made a reservation confirmation number 79748SB005162X. On August 29th, 2019, I attempted to cancel my reservation online. I could not cancel due to them not finding the reservation confirmation number online. IMessage read that it did not exist. I attempted three or four times to cancel this reservation. On August 30th 2019, I made a call to the Americas Best Value Inn & Suites in Clinton Mississippi and spoke to a representative there to attempt to cancel the reservation. This person was very rude, and refused to cancel the reservation because it was past the 24-hour. I attempted to explain that I had gone through the necessary channels to cancel online, but once I spoke to the representative he could see the reservation which was not seen online. I told him I'd also attempted to change my password three or four times and never did get the password link to change it via email. I think that it is very unfair when I have taken the necessary steps to cancel a reservation and unable to do so not because of me but because of the online communication. I was told that I would have to go back online to cancel this reservation . I told him I had done so to no avail. I also told him I contacted customer service which I was told by them to contact the local hotel . He was not of any help nor was he willing to help. He told me that I would be charged the 80 plus dollars do to counseling after a 24-hour. My response was that it was not fair that I would be charged the entire fee because I had taken the necessary steps to cancel with speaking with customer service as well as the local hotel. I told him that I would be contacting the corporate office because this was not my mistake and I followed protocol in attempting to cancel. I then attempted to contact corporate office in which I spoke to a young lady in sales by the name of Miss Kimberly. She in turn directed me to this site to give communication concerning the matter. I appreciate your consideration thank you in advance.
unsafe and drug items, uncleaned
We arrived late at night/ early am, so didn't go to unpack till that night, I opened the night stand and found drug items, in another drawer I found clothes and in and in another I found more drug use items. Obviously they did not clean the room. I was totally shocked and am thankful that my special needs child had not opened those drawers. When I asked for a manager the desk person refused to call one
hotel. anyone can buy in chain. no recourse.
Asked for quiet room, so of course had a long termer put next to me. TV blaring 24/7. No, I mean 24/7. Ear plugs helped, but could do nothing for two weeks of same (blood stained) sheets; no change in 2 weeks.
WIFI, spent more time connecting that actual connection. Gave up for work.
Or the long black hair everywhere. Learned to shake towel out before using. That helped some. Nice owner is glad to get my 75/night but that is all the concern.

So after the July 3rd calls, we thought the hotel must had been closed for business and therefore did not pursue further. We received an email today from Travelocity asking for feedback on Check-in and Check-out at the hotel, that's when we knew the hotel must still be in business, and we are now being charged for no-show one night of $164.34. We tried to ask the front desk manager at the hotel (Bruce) to waive the no-show penalty being that we were unable to get hold of the hotel in June/July to cancel but he refused. The problem was bad front desk services: no one pick up the phone for three attempted calls at different dates.
We are now requesting from the Corporate Office of the hotel for a refund of the penalty. We had full intention to stay at the hotel and we will go back next time. We would like to get the refund this time. We will appreciate that very much.

my wife who is pregnant wanted to rent a room to be together for her couple days off as we've been living separate because of a house fire.
the room was completely nasty. stains on the shower floor stains on the shower wall. the floor on the side of the bed up in the corner all the way along side of bed was completely nasty curly q hair dirt food look like coffee grounds. the AC is leaking on the floor so they just placed a piece of plywood down instead of properly fixing the AC so it doesn't leak inside the framing is leaning downward so that the water wants to flow inside instead of out. there is no filter or screen on the out side of the ac. so whenpeople sit outside and smoke it sucked it right in.and there's no restriction no seal with no filter to hold the bugs out I had to kill three or four little jumping spiders that were coming up the wall and ceiling from the AC daddy long legs. mosquitoes were coming in. when we got into bed there was cookie crumbs or food of some sort still in the sheets where they did not change the sheets and there was chocolate stains I'm hoping it was chocolate on the sheets. her being pregnant I didn't want to argue with her so we went and bought our own sheets blankets and pillow cases. I feel that this is a total disrespect of representation in disrespect to customers themselves she works hard for her money she was embarrassed to go complain so I cleaned the shower I washed the sinks.. the reservation was under Mary Scanlon my fiance and myself Donald Ireland. I feel that she has totally been ripped off. I feel that she is deserves her money back or at least a couple night stay for the reimbursement.. please respond to [protected] and I do not email much I prefer to talk in person or at least text if you respond to the email i more than likely won't get it.. as I am relearning electronics and find them a nuisance

Pulled into the parking lot to buy rooms for 6 coworkers for a week stay, possibly more. As I was sitting in my personal service truck, a customer claiming to be the owner started yelling out the window at us. He claimed this is private property and to get the [censored] off his land. He then proceeded to flash a "32" pistol as he called it and threatened us. We left and will not be staying there. We instead chose the days inn down the street.

We had 2 rooms booked gor a week, while my crew was in the area working on a jobsite. One of my employees forgot a small baggy of clothes on the closet shelf.. I saw an unauthorized charge for an additional 496.00 on our card and called. We were told that the room would continue to charge until the baggy was picked up. We have stayed in Countless hotels across California for jobs, this has NEVER happened.
I called the front desk. They basically said tough luck.
We already had the invoices for the rooms, they knew we were vacating the rooms Friday am early. 5:30 am. They new our Company name, why didnt someone reach out to us ?

My daughter and I needed a cheap place to sleep in Anderson, IN so we chose America's Best...well this place was the worst. First, it is a transient hotel, second there were ROACHES.. I did not sleep at all that night because I was afraid a roach would crawl on my daughter. This visit was 8/12/19. On 8/13/19 I contact the property through Booking.com.
