If I wished to be charitable with my complaint, the company is quite opaque regarding the disclosure of when an item is "special order and non-returnable"; but I feel that a more accurate statement is that they are outright deceptive in their item listings. I ordered two of an item (order #1360098) which turned out to be too large for my project. When I contacted them for a return, only then was I informed that as a special order, my items weren't eligible for return and refund. The customer service rep went on to claim that they "make every effort" to inform and disclose when an item is special order and non-returnable. I was astonished that I'd missed such a vital piece of information when ordering and went back online to review the description. It was only after scrolling down through THREE PAGES of verbiage that I finally found, in a significantly SMALLER font, the disclaimer. If I was truly making every effort to inform my customers, I believe I'd have that information in LARGE FONT, BOLD, and at the TOP of the listing. Since they don't do that, I disagree that they're "making every effort" and feel that they have room to improve in this area. So, I'm out nearly $300 for two items I can't use and can't return. Needless to say, I won't be a repeat customer.
Desired outcome: Full refund.
