This business is a total scam. I ordered a double chocolate pecan pie, they delivered a generic pumpkin pie you can get at a supermarket for five dollars.
When I contacted customer service, they said in their terms of service when I purchased the product that I agreed to their terms of service and that they can substitute for something else. This is a scam, false advertising and fraudulent business practice.
Do not do business with this company because you will get something different than what you ordered.

I ordered a basket to be delivered on September 16th for a friend that was in town for one night to attend her college graduation. I called the hotel ahead of time to make sure they could hold baskets at the front desk Incase it got there before them and they confirmed they would. I added the delivery address, name of the company, and even put a note to leave it at the front desk. It is now Monday and after they said they had an “issue with the delivery address” they now are telling me it can be delivered. I told them no one is there to receive it and the delivery people are telling me it’s in their warehouse and they aren’t going to give me my money back. Absolutely crazy. This has got to be a scam website.

Gift baskets
On Monday August 14, I ordered a $350 gift basket with add ins to be delivered the next day. The next day came, nothing. I then received a bogus tracking number that has not changed for two days. I inquired with their customer service where the package was at via email since their phone number is a front and says they will call you back- they don’t. I was told via email allow 24 hours for the carrier to “scan the shipment label”. They are using a bogus shipping carrier that I have never heard of- not anyone reputable. It’s now Thursday. The package is not there and the receiver is now out of town. No one will be there to get it. The cupcakes are old by now and the $100 bottle of tequila will probably be gone. No one is there to actually answer phones. I’m out a lot of money, my “gift” is ruined- not even there, my time and effort wasted. I really wish I would have looked them up beforehand. Do not order from there. The was the worst experience I have ever had ordering anything. I’m 38 and order a lot online- even from the beginning when online ordering became a thing.
Desired outcome: It’s too late as the food has been “sitting in the carrier facility for days”. I want a refund for something that never even made it there.
Ultimate beer gift basket
I ordered the Ultimate Beer Tasting gift basket for my husband on July 23, 2023. I added extras which were supposed to be gourmet cheese, fruit and nuts and pretzels. The total for the basket plus $50 shipping and a few more dollars for tax was $211.53. Imagine my shock and disbelief when a brown paper bag with 4 beers, a bag of pretzels, small bag of dried fruit and nuts was delivered to him on July 29, 2023. Several days late I might add.
I contacted customer service and was advised via email that my order was subject to omissions and product availability. No apologies or any other remorse for the scam they perpetrated on me.
I regret not having looked this company up before making this order. It is too late now but I hope this post and the many others that I have found here prevent them from continuing to scam poor unsuspecting customers.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology.
Red velvet cupcakes
I live in Australia and I ordered red velvet cupcakes to be delivered to my friend in Kelowna on the 6th of June.. the company said they tried to deliver on the 8th of June but apparently no one was home - which is untrue someone was home all day, they were they delivered the next day in 33degree heat and were totally ruined.
My friend did not to tell me this as she knew I would be upset but when I contacted the company I was told they have a policy that you have to complain within five days otherwise of delivery or they can not do anything.. this is regardless of the fact that they delivered late and the product was ruined, they refuse to apologise or take any responsibility at all..
I gave up with them because they just kept coming back with their company policy as an excuse.

poor customer service
I’ve been trying all day to get this order delivered today. I couldn’t find the spot on the order form for same day delivery, so I called. No one answers they will call back in 30 min. Well, I needed to order before 11am for same day delivery. So, I ordered, showed the date of delivery as today. Then I called left a message stating I needed this order to be delivered today. waited for a call back. No call back. I got an email stating I had not clicked the right button, and she couldn’t help me change the order. Period! All customer service had to do was edit my order to show today, or cancel and reorder, anything that would have fulfilled my request placed before 11am. Customer service email me back before 11am. I emailed 2 more times. I tried customer chat, I called and left another message to have a call returned and nothing so far.

Champagne and truffle gift basket
I ordered a basket on line to be delivered to friends staying at the Park MGM Hotel in Las Vegas. They never received it. I called and talked to the concierge, bell hop desk and hotel manager. I was told by each that nothing was signed into the hotel on 11/18/22 in which they keep logs for. My friends checked everywhere in each department at the hotel as well. It was supposed to be a surprise. So when I called this company, Hazelton's, I was rudely put off and the only explanation I got was that their tracking indicated that it was delivered to the correct address... PERIOD! They could not provide a name of who signed for it, nothing. I just had to except their word. They did nothing to help resolve the issue.
I filed a dispute with my credit card bank and later it was charged back to my card because Hazelton's provided them with copies of their tracking records, which actually proves nothing. They did not follow up with their delivery service nor would they give me the name so that I could call them. Horrible customer service and had no concern or did they want to help to correct the problem. When I told them I was filing a dispute with my credit card bank, they told me they could no longer communicate with me. I was robbed in the amount of $132.99!
Desired outcome: Hazelton's needs to refund my money.
Birthday cake, flowers and Balloon
I ordered a birthday cake, bouquet of flowers and balloon for total of 134 CAD. After following up for 24 hours the cake finally arrived not as per order as nothing was written on it, not fresh as it was in transit for 24 hours and balloon which was charged separately completely burst and ruined. Very unfriendly company as could not get to them over phone which they provided. Only responding via email without accepting their fault and blaming the courier service.
Desired outcome: I expect to be refunded full amount of 134 CAD due to not fulfilling the order.
Custom gift basket
I ordered a custom gift basket for my sister's 40th birthday. I was going to be out of the country, so I arranged for it to be delivered on her birthday. I specifically went with Hazeltons because they had a custom basket and I was able to select gourmet food that did not contain dairy (my sister has an allergy). I selected nuts, chips, and hummus and added a specific note about making sure nothing contained dairy. The basket was delivered on time, but when I returned from the holidays in January and asked my sister about the basket, she said that it contained two milk chocolate bars! She understandably didn't want to bring this up when I was out of town, but she did email the company herself and heard nothing back. I emailed Hazeltons as soon as I heard and received an email back saying that I hadn't contacted them within the 5 days, so I couldn't have a refund. I wasn't actually looking for a refund, just for some sign that they cared about such a big mistake being made. Perhaps some free items in compensation for the items my sister was not able to enjoy. I've since read reviews that I wish I had checked ahead of time. This company seems to have a reputation for getting orders wrong and poor customer service.
Desired outcome: I would like some alternate products or a partial refund for the items they got so terribly wrong.
Customer gift basket
Ordered a custom gift basket for a family member this year (2022). I picked out two bottles of Rose (cupcake, apothecary) a bottle of Johnny Walker red label, three cheeses (welsh cheddar, Irish porter cheddar, apple tree smoked)
I picked these items based on my family member's preferences in wine/liquor and that I recently traveled all over Ireland.
My family member told me that they received two bottles of Rose (Josh, Oyster) and three packs of Habaneros & Jalapeño cheese. So not one single item was correct in this order, better yet they just decided to omit one item all together, not even trying to screw up and send the wrong one! I can see the wine change as somewhat understandable, but my family member doesn’t like hot and overly spicy items so the cheese would be a waste and they omitted the whiskey.
I reached out to the company 5–10 times via phone, all the calls went to a general voicemail (no matter what department you tried calling), I left several voicemails requesting calls. Finally I sent customer service an email letting them know that if I didn’t hear back from them by a certain time, I would dispute the charges. Customer service (Jincy) reached out and said that they have the right to substitute items at their discretion and they were only willing to refund me for the missing liquor. Let me say this loud for the people in the back, if I had not talked with the recipient and found out things were missing, they would not have refunded me. I gave customer service the option to either refund all my money, provide a shipping ticket and ill have it sent back for a full refund or send me the correct items and we will send back the incorrect. Customer disservice (Jincy) said they only option woulds be to refund me the cost of the whiskey or I can return it all and take a 50% hit on it.
All while dealing with Customer DisService (Jincy) i’ve been researching about this and I found a bunch of reviews about how similar things had happened to them. So please stay away your order will be screwed up, customer service is none existent, their shady business practices are becoming clearer

Large Gift Basket Order
Ordered 12/28/2022 with delivery expressly stated to be made within 2 days specifically for New Year's Eve celebration.
Enhanced basket order included mostly perishable items such as: flowers, wine, champagne, fruit, meats, cheeses, and other food items.
Delivery was actually made 01/03/2023- 6 DAYS AFTER ORDER PLACED.
Intended recipients had already departed from delivery location.
Complete waste of money. Not even sure who they could have possible delivered it to- NO ONE WAS THERE !

Gift basket
On December 3, 2022 I had ordered a gift basket on Hazelton's website the gift basket was called "Sure to please" and was valued at $158, I had selected three add-on's which was bottle of wine and two varieties of cheese, the total value came to $227 with taxes applicable in the state of NY. The delivery date at the time of order indicated next day dispatch if ordered before 2:00 pm EST.
Issue 1: The package was delivered to the incorrect address in New Hampshire instead of Buffalo NY
Issue 2: An incorrect item was delivered to the intended recipient in Buffalo, NY but that package was supposed to be sent to New Hampshire
Issue 3: The package I had ordered was supposed to have 12 individual items but the package showed up with 6 individual items
Issue 4: When I reached out to the Customer Support Representative I was told that items were substituted and the order was accurate and referred to go check the substitution policy, when I asked for a clear answer of what item was substituted with what I was offered no answer or support
Desired outcome: I would like either a refund of the $227 or a reissue of the correct gift basket to the correct recipient as promised.
Private seller
On November 6th I sent Warren Bradley Christie $400 as a down payment for a 2007 Buell XB9 motorcycle. The next few days he claimed he wanted more to hold the motorcycle, and without more money he would not hold the motorcycle. He will no longer answer my calls or messages and has deleted his online profile. He refused to send back the deposit. Beware of this seller.
Desired outcome: Return deposit, respond to my messages.
Wine order no going through but CC charged anyway, twice!
I attempted to purchase some wine on Hazelton's website. The payment kept failing and the order was never confirmed. Yet, 3 days later i found two charges from Hazelton's on my CC account.
I demanded that the charges be reversed and they refused as they could not find an order. But that was precisely the point, there was no order so there should be no charge.
I sent evidence of these charges and they said to contact my bank!
Gift Basket not delivered and no tracking or explanation provided
This company has made me sure I will never do another online gift basket. Times have changed and there is little one can trust in this type of transaction. I try to support other businesses and avoid the Amazon transactions but can't trust many outside the big box type shopping conglomerates. Time to return to local stores, flower shops etc. I will call a legit business local to where I want to deliver. These kind of companies promise the moon and take away the stars. Junk they are and customer service is non existent. Lesson learned and my Daughters Birthday gift Lovingly sent is a huge fail. No excuses and so disappointed. They did not deliver and had zero customer response to my delivery not being on time after several attempts at contact. There tracking is a joke

Gift basket
Hazeltons basket was delivered incomplete and in terrible condition. Main product (champagne) was missing, cheese was expired, and mustard tin was dented/damaged. Products were delivered loose in a box, not packaged as shown on the website. The gift box was intended to be a birthday gift and it was a complete embarrassment. After numerous emails to the company back and forth, champagne finally arrived separately, over a week late.
Desired outcome: Publish real reviews on their website. Reviews included on their page are all highly rated, it’s incredibly misleading.
Flowers, chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered pears
1. They claim I should have paid for a more expensive and quicker shipping due to completely melted chocolate on food items. It looked like a melted disaster from my 6/13 order to a 6/15 delivery.
2. I ordered pears - not green apples which my father is allergic too! This switch up was assumptions on their part and could have been a medical issue for my father.
3. Their packaging was absolutely novice. Chocolate dipped strawberries in their photos show items close together in a small package tightly fitting so there would be no movement. The strawberries and apples were rolling around in a box that was too large creating the situation at hand.
4. The items were not packaged nor refrigerated professionally (no cold packs, dry ice for food nor water tubes for flower stems). The roses were completely crushed and the flowers were dying. The chocolate was melted all over the boxes.
Desired outcome: On time delivery (one day late), Fresh delivered flowers, appropriate size boxes chocolate covered strawberries and “pears” did not roll around as advertised in pictures. Substituting green apples with green pears is unacceptable.
