Leak ddetection
They over charged for a job and took payment without authorisation! Have not been helpful in reaching a resolution for dispute, have been ignoring the situation and have awful customer service! 2 engineers where sent out for a leak detection and they took twice the expected time as per the guy who took the booking. The report which was then only sent 2 weeks after does not match the time frame and what I am being billed for!
The client witnessed them on several occasion not doing anything in the property.
Worst experience and frankly they a thiefs!

Where to start with this farce, I'll start at beginning
1. Made appointment. Everything done swiftly and engineer confirmed
2. No engineer arrived. Had to call and rearrange
3. Engineer turned up. Mumbled about not used to mitsubishi air conditioners even though make and model provided to aspect
4. Didn't have any tools to hand to do any of the basics had to use mine
5. Took cover off (opened the bonnet) saw there was power. Didn't run any diagnostics (which there are on YouTube video online) kicked the tyres then decided he didn't know and offered to replace whole unit.

Overcharged works and works not completed
I got Aspects in to complete some Trace and Acess for a leak. I then went to claim the case back from my insurers, Zurich, who informed me that Aspects were not providing a breakdown of costs. When pressed, it became clear that Aspects wouldn't provide this information as it would disclose that I was charged for work that was not completed, and that work was overcharged to bump up costs.
As a result, not only have I been massively overcharged but because of their refusal to provide the breakdown, Zurich cannot process the claim and I am thousands of pounds out of pocket. Just to find a leak in my bathroom.
I have emailed and called continuously over the last few weeks, with Aspects deflecting and wasitng my time. I have now issued a letter re Small Claims Court proceedings, and they have not acknowledged it after a week. The only place they have responded to me is Trust Pilot haha!
These guys must be buying a load of reviews as smaller sites which aren't so visible/mainstream are full of one star reviews. They are a joke of a company and I look forward to resolving our dispute in arbitration since they have refused to engage or communicate.

Missed visit
After canceling two appointments we have been charged for a visit that they say never happened. No one returns our calls or replies to emails. They have their money and we've been ignored.
We were very trasnparent from the beginning that we were leaving the country on a specific date and would like an emergency callout. Nonetheless (and despite scheduling three appointments for the previous week) they showed up on the day we left the country. Had that been the arrangement/schedule then we'd never have agreed to a visit that day and would have chosen another company.

Suspect leaking

It was pre-booked (not emergency) visit to ask them to inspect a suspect leaking. At the end, it was only a job of resealing the silicone in the bathroom, and it wasn't all completed (around 4-5 metres long of silicone resealing), but it was charged a whooping >£600 for the job, which I really doubt this was appropriate in hindsight.
I got in touch with them, they did respond first, but didn't follow up afterwards.

We had a minor leak in our shower room, in the shower head.
Aspect sent an engineer who then spent 5 hours in our property and did not fix the problem, in fact he left us with no water supply at all.
A further engineer returned the next day to fix the problem of us having no water, and returned the water to us (i.e. the same position we were in before we called them, but we then had no hot water. (this is the £114 charge we are disputing)
A third engineer arrived on day three who said the first engineer had clearly broken a valve he should have been nowhere near and that he needed to replace the valve but the supplier was closed and they would have to come back on day 4, but before 12 because that was when the supplier shut at the weekend. (this is the £162 charge we are disputing).
On day 4 they were scheduled to arrive between 10 and 2 ...and at 2.45PM I received a call from the engineer saying he would be 45 minutes, when I asked why he would be another 45 minutes when his office said he was around the corner he got upset and then sent a text to advise that he wouldn't be coming, as there is an ongoing issue with another engineer, when in fact...My assumption is he didn't have the part!
Therefore we have been charged £114 and £162 on my American Express card by a company whose engineers broke our shower head and have left us with no water for 24 hours and no hot water for 4 days!
Desired outcome: Someone else to fix it, them to refund all payments and make an offer for payment in respect to inconvenience and lack of services
Water leak repair - rip off
We have booked Aspect maintenance to repair a water leak on 13th October at our property Rectory Grove where our company houses 13 Ukrainian families.
First engineer arrived to a property to detect a leak. After 2 hours of calls, he called that he can't do this alone and he needs a second engineer, which mean £110 per hour for first engineer and £110 per second engineer. 4 hours later the leak was found but they can't repair it and have to return back. Please note this was a detection of 4 meter long distance... we knew roughly where the leak is as Thames water pointed that out that morning. So they only needed to detect on 4 meter long line.
That evening we received invoice for 2 engineers for 6,5 hours and our card was charged without any notification, permission or authorization. The company send email saying Please accept the invoice which you need to press for the payment to go through. Yet the payment has been deducted without us accepting it. We had no chance to review the report (as there was no report) or check the invoice which was whopping £1000!
Next day (14th October and 17th October) both engineers came again to fix it but spent a whole day there without fixing it, they came again next day and again spend a whole day there.
We were charged £4,950! no report, no pictures, but my email was flooded with various invoices and then we have been told the engineers equipment was stolen!
This is a first class rip off , the engineers abused the situation the work is no being supervised and took advantage of hours they can spend there.
We have never agreed to such price and we have never even been given a price. They simple charged us hourly rate without approval.
We have been told that if we want a fixed price we should say so...?
I had a surprising conference call with 3 employees from Aspect and was pushed to pay the final invoices despite the fact no report or pictures were send to us. Which I refused. They said all will be sent to us after the payment is done which again I refused.
This is an absolute abuse of the customer's trust.
there is no way 2 engineers were required at the site for 3 days... as there was no job for 2 engineers. yet we got charged £220 per hour.
We have had a meeting with one engineer who came to show us pictures, in that same moment the manager was calling me if I have seen it and if I can pay the bill. without seeing the new invoices, without report, without anything documentation.
I have requested a discount and for explanation of the cost but all I received was the information about the engineers are tracked.
Who cares about tracking if engineers spends deliberately on site 2,5 days times 2 engineers for work that would normally take one engineer 1,5 day.

Do not use this company. It took them 2 days and three engineer visits to start the job as the 1st one said he wasn't experienced enough to do the job. The 2nd engineer they sent was carpenter who can't do plumbing. They finally sent a plumber who wad suppose to arrive between 2-4pm, but came after 8pm & and left after 11pm.
The job was done within the hour but he stretched it out to 3hrs and constantly had his alarm going off every 30mins. Then said I would have to pay the night rate due to his arrival time.

Charges and services that were not agreed, be careful with this company
I had a gas leak which they came to trace and repair. One of their guys turned up with all this equipment and half was through he decided that the equipment was faulty and trued to repair it. £500 later he left still uncertain of where the gas leak was in the kitchen.
A second guy turned up to try again and with just a hand held device found it in 20 minutes, but it was under a cupboard and called another to help him move it. I presumed the guy would move the cabinet and then go, but he stayed all day, so I was paying for 2 guys not one as agreed.
They then needed a part and rather than use a builders merchants across the road, he had to use his nominated builders merchant and disappeared for nearly 2 hours, so I was paying for the guy getting the part and the guy sat waiting for his return.
I paid way over the original quotation, so only paid for what I thought the job was worth. Of course they start to threaten court procedures, so I emailed company with my concerns. This has now been going on for over a year and I have had to resent all the previous emails to three different people. I am a pensioner and the amount of stress they have put me through is beyond belief.
Today I received another threat of court action even after sending another email a couple of weeks ago, explaining the situation once again, which they never replied, but sent me a pathetic credit note for a very small nominal amount which was more of an insult than a remedy. I decided today rather than stress further I reluctantly paid another £544 which at these time where fuel bills and the cost of living as escalated, I really could not afford to part with this money.
I strongly recommend anyone to use this company and please search as there are so many bad reviews for this company, that if I had seen I would never of have used them, so please do not fall into the same trap.
Desired outcome: Ideally they refund me some of the last £544 I just paid them and for some governing body to investigate the way they run this business.
Aircon Engineer
This company is a scam. Aspect took (stole) £446 from our bank acc for our office aircon that was not actually fixed by them.
An engineer came out, apparently serviced and fitted a 'part' and left admitting it was still not fixed, yet we have then been charged £446 in total as soon as he left saying job was complete. No word as to what this part was/apart from cost £168 or how it was authorised. How can you fit this part and charge with no quote/yet then go on to say you are going to quote for it to be fixed?
When we have then chased as the aircon still didn't work, they've said they sent another quote for more work, we never received it as they sent it to the wrong email address, yet they seem to have managed to send the email saying they've taken money from us to the right one.
Desired outcome: Refund - job not done / charged for 'mysterious parts'
Unauthorized credit card charges
These people are thieves. I requested a replacement of a small (35 x 52 cm) pane of glass, giving them the measurements. A glazier arrived the following day, had a quick look and said he didn't keep glass in his van "because of vandalism", so had to go get it at a glazier. As soon as he was gone, my card was charged for the rate of 1 hour.
I then got an estimate for £446 to replace the pane, practically the cost of a new window! I rang the company and said I didn't want to go ahead at that price and I disputed the charge on my card, stating their T&Cs say it was an hour minimum of labour, not to do an estimate. There was 0 labour done.
I checked the T&Cs again and there is no mention of a call out fee, nor a fee for an estimate. The man at Aspect said he would try to reduce the price with the glazier and get back to me. He never did. I called him the next day and he told me some fib about this glazier being in a basement all day and so didn't have phone signal. He promised to call me back. Still waiting... I wrote requesting that he reverse the charge. Still waiting... I cannot believe a company like this is still in business!
Desired outcome: For Aspect to reverse the charge of an hour that they got from my credit card for no labour done.

Wish there was a button for negative stars. Wish I had read the reviews about this company before I called them.
One engineer arrived on site and claimed he could not do the job without a colleague who was conveniently 15 minutes away. Because of the pressure of the machine to use the water to flush the pipe (which one person from a different company was able to use when the issue recurred shortly after). They falsified their time on site that they invoiced for, charged for over £180 to put some drain solution down the toilets - two little bottles that barely had anything in them. The job was to clear 4 toilets (3 children's toilets and one adult toilet) on 9 metres (about 9 big steps if you stretch your legs) of pipe that became blocked due to flatness of pipe. Original person charged £552 for his time and colleague charged £418.80 for his time - so a total of £970.80 for clear 9 metres pipe.
Even though we have CCTV which clearly showed that they falsified their time, took an hour lunch break each off-site, and wasted time sitting in their vans on their mobiles phones and reading a book, etc and we presented all the information to the company they have done nothing about it.
From the reviews it would appear that this is something that they do regularly. Avoid at all cost.!
They rely on the fact that people get tired/frustrated or are too busy to follow-up properly with the courts to continue overcharging for services.
Desired outcome: Refund for the overcharge time/job which would meant the company returning almost half of what was charged.

An engineer came to switch an oven over. He was painfully slow, walking back and forth to the gas meter like a snail. The job was done in about 40 minutes (and quite honestly could have been done in much less) but he filled out the paperwork after so slowly and stood there on his phone in my kitchen for about 15-20 minutes after.
Since the company charge you £50 for half an hour, I realised what he was doing and asked why he was standing there. So when he thought enough time had gone past the hour (around 10 mins), of course he announced he was charging for an extra half hour (so total £150) which I immediately disagreed with. He'd also drunk a cup of tea I made him during the time he was there.
Despite my disapproval of the extra charge, the company continued to take £150 from my account without my approval and have ignored all my requests by email and telephone to give me back my £50.
I will never be using Aspect again. Most expensive cup of tea I ever made.

Extremely poor service, original quote was way off, once scaffolding was erected, the quote was revised by 2x at which point we had already paid for the scaffolding so refund no longer an option. To make matters worse, the scaffolding was incorrectly positioned not once but twice, causing delays of 3 weeks (this was a 2 day job!). As a consolation, they offered to take off 5% but then forgot and charged full price. But worse than all of the above was the fact that with each issue, aspect was completely non-responsive and required chasing with daily phone calls to find out what was going on, why workers never showed up, this happened again and again. We are still waiting for our refund and for the scaffolding to come down - it's been 2 months.

Avoid at all costs.
We had an emergency, our pump stopped working and there was no water in the flat. I called them 8 o'clock in the morning and was promised an engineer before noon. Nobody came and nobody called, so I called them myself. They apologised and promised and engineer by 14:00. I reiterated that we have an emergency situation and asked if they could probably send someone else instead, but they refused. Of course, nobody came and nobody bothered to call me by 14:00, so I had to call them again to find out that the earliest an electrician can be with us is 17:00, at which point I cancelled the job because this is a joke.
Please avoid, Aspect is totally unreliable.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

I called in 2017 for some electrical work to be done on my bosses property. When I made the call I said it was for and on behalf of my boss and I was the property manager. I didn't realise at the time they put it in my name as I was the one calling to make the booking, when in fact I was only the point of contact. We used Aspect for over a year on other jobs. I started to realise they would take a deposit for a job and send invoices at different times. There was no order to the way they were invoicing and no way of keeping track. We stopped using them because the work that was being done was sufficient and they sent the wrong engineers on jobs and I had several complaints in with them. A year later I received an email saying I owed 4K for this electrical work. It took them a year to send an email asking for money, when I asked for the invoice it wasn't even generated yet and they sent the details of the work in an email, which can easily be fabricated and didn't prove the work was in fact done. By this time I had left my employment and the house the work was done in was sold. They eventually generated the invoice and kept sending my employment email address the invoice but because it was deactivated I didn't receive anything. Eventually they needed to come after someone so they got my personal address and sent the invoice to my private address. Now listing me as the person responsible for payment. When I stated it was on behalf of my boss I was told everything was in my name so there was nothing I could do but to pay it.m or sent to court. I was told my former boss had to email taking responsibly for the invoice so legal action wouldn't be taken against me. His new EA sent an email saying she was responsible for payment but this wasn't accepted as they wanted him to email and personally accept everything. Bottom line is when I called and made the booking I made it on behalf of my boss, at no time when making the booking was I told that because I called it in I would be made responsible even if I said it was on behalf of him. Mainly they took over a year to ask for payment and even when I asked for an invoice and proof of the job taking place they had not even generated an invoice yet. Lastly that when they could not get a hold of anyone in the property they decided to come after myself. I can show all jobs done in the year with Aspect were paid for by my boss and we're done at his property. I'm still not convinced the work was actually done, because an invoice has been produced over a year later I have to accept the work because there are signatures on it. A company as big as Aspect should not take over a year to invoice for any job period. And when asked for evidence if the job took place to make me wait another 2 months for that information shows something funny took place.

The worst possible company, STAY AWAY!
Our roof terrace was leaking to the downstairs flat in November so we arranged Aspect to come via our managing agent Savills.
They came a first time and stayed 1 hours (costing us £96) only to tell us they confirmed there's a leak (yeah, we knew that...) but we needed to appoint them again to understand what was causing it. So totally useless...
We appointed them again and this time they stayed 2.5 hours (costing us £240) only to tell us they still had no clue where the leak was coming from but that if we paid them a further 2, 160£ they'd waterproof our entire roof and hopefully it'd solve the issue. By this point we were already 1 month into the issue (because turns out they're not only incompetent but also very very SLOW) and the leak kept deteriorating the flat downstairs, at our expense... They also told us they noticed a pigeon nest on our terrace and that we needed to pay a pest control company to remove it (at £96 per hour) otherwise they wouldn't do the work...
We discussed with them and agreed that for £880 they'd waterproof half our roof, the half where the leak was most likely to come from. We also agreed that they'd appoint a pest control company to remove the pigeon nest before they came. Fast forward to 1 month afterwards (we're now 2 months into the issue) and they finally agree on a date to do the work. However 3 hours into the work they call us to tell us that the £880 they'd quoted us is too cheap and that they'd decided to pack up and leave. They also told us the pest control guy came, stayed 2 hours (costing us £192) only to notice the nest was not there anymore and so he left as well. They'll charge us a total of £300 for the 3 hours plus the £192 of pest control = £492 FOR NO WORK AT ALL! They told us they'd recontact us to give us a new quote to finally do the work...
So to sum up they've so far come 3 times to our property, charged us a total of 96 + 240 + 492 = £828 and not only they haven't done ANY work but they still have no understanding where the leak comes from. And it took them more than 2 months to do all of this, when the leak is worsening in the meanwhile. TOTAL BLATANT INCOMPETENCE! Needless to say, I'll never work with these guys ever again and I encourage everyone to STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

Stay well clear of this company, the customer service staff lie to you, the electrician that came, came 4 hours late and didn't know what he was doing. Wasted 2.5 hours calling someone else to ask them what the problem was and left the place in a worst state than when he arrived. Plus left exposed wires (from a socket he had opened) in a 4 year olds bedroom. Only dawned on him to check to see if it was live as he was walking out. Plus after 2.5 hours he decided that scaremongering (advised us the place was dangerous and all needed to be rewired) wasn't enough and he was going to arrange someone to come and find out what was wrong.
Customer service were useless with my query regarding his "work". Every time I called they said they logged the query and would call us back and never did. Found out 10 months later that all queries have to be done in writing and they said by that time they had deleted the conversations so there was no proof as to what they said.
I feel conned, so my advise is stay well away from this company!
roof leak not fixed but charged for
To whom it may concern
I need your help or advice. I'm very disappointed with the service Aspect has provided. I've called and was promised the issue I was having with my roof leak would be fixed. Workmen came to spend most of the time on the phone with their office complaining the weather was not suited to do any work on my roof(looked like it was about to rain) Did not rain all day. Then they left after leaving some tape over the leak which has damaged my roof glass leaving it looking all sticky now. And now you want to take legal action because I refuse to pay the £220 for this service. Should I be contacting the Consumers Ombudsman? This is not fair and I feel you have abused of our integrity an made us believed you were a genuine and dedicated company. We feel so stressed about this situation.
Please help us, I've tried to contact you, call, explain my situation, but im just ignored.
