Dental work
I had $7, 600 worth of teeth work done my top teeth from canine to Canine where ground down and Cat each tooth was supposed to be root canaled before it was capped however that was never done I complained about the pain throughout the three months process due to not getting the root canal and instead of fixing it they pushed pain pills on me that I didn't want for 3 months in a row now anytime I ask for help they refuse me they don't accept her a complaint hi originally asked for dentures which would have cost me $5, 000 roughly however the dentist insisted that I just got the implants then ended up costing a total of $7, 900 and I paid $3, 600 out-of-pocket then received a bill a year later stating they've never been paid however I have check stubs from the bank as well as an insurance statement to prove for a fact otherwise on top of that the teeth that they installed have broke away my bottom teeth due to not being fitted correctly please help
Overcharging
In Nov 2018 I went to see about having lower dentures. I was given a quote of $399 for the lower dentures. I agreed and set up a time to do the work. 5 months later I get the bill and they are charging me $832 for the denture. When I asked about this I was told that the woman that gave me the quote should not have told me $399 and that I must be mistaken. I have paperwork that shows that was the quote that I was given and the office mgr just said that it was too bad and that I was responsible for $832. Unfortunately, Aspen Dental offices are independently owned and there is no corporate office to complain to. I may have to pay the $832 but you can be rest assured that anyone that I have a reason to tell about this will hear about the way that they do business. I am sure that filing a report like this is probably futile at best, at least I have said my peace

On May 22 I had all of my upper teeth pulled and all but 5 pulled on bottom for dentures and partial. To start off I wanted all of my teeth pulled but they insisted that I keep 3 teeth to hold bottom plate in, said I would regret getting all pulled due to bottom dentures won't stay. Day of surgery they pulled all but 5 decided two of the teeth were ok!...

I went to Aspen Dental to get x-rays to see if I need fillings and I wanted a teeth cleaning after about 2hrs. After I got my x-rays done ect. The dentist proceeded to take me in the business office and said I needed a "deep cleaning" to reverse the damage of gingervitis (mind you my gums didn't bleed and we're not inflamed when I'd brush my teeth and...

Bernie Zeitler--Got another bill for $$468. These items were on the first bill. Double billing is illegal and you need to delete this bill. Also believe your prices are way too high which you don't tell people until they get there and then are in pain and are shocked when the bill seems double what it should be. Account number for the duplicate bill is #[protected]. If we don't hear from you, then we will contact the appropriate boards as well as our attorney general here in our state of Michigan. You cannot bill for the same thing twice. Plus the x rays are supposed to be free so you can also take off the Charge for $82.00 as well.
Further it concerns me that there is encouragement to use care credit telling customers that it will be 'interest free'. If a customer get's it to help with paying extremely high amounts over time they discover that the plan they choose is not interest free but high interest.Resulting in making it even more un affordable and painful.
Can’t they get jail time for this? Yes they can! Report it to the government!
In the process of trying to get them to resolve it first. But yes we are preparing to report them.
Payment processing
I have been a patient at Aspen Dental in East Peoria for the last year. I went there because my dental insurance said that they covered this dental office and not the office in my home town. I had some fillings and most recently a crown put in. I paid every bill that came to me and even paid a huge payment in person before the work was done. Now I keep...

On 4/24/19, I went in for my periodic exam. I was informed that I needed $1, 631 worth of work done to my teeth plus a $135 toothbrush, and that Aspen could arrange financing. I went ahead and did it since Aspen Dental is the only place that accepts my dental insurance. When I received my Explanation of Benefits, my insurance said I should have been charged...

A year ago I gave Aspen Dental a great review on Google .But now I am not sure about Aspen ethics. I am a patient at Aspen Dental on South Robert Street in West St. Paul, MN. I first had my upper denture replaced and said I could not afford both upper and lower at that time. I set up a payment arrangement with my bank to start building credits towards my lower denture . A treatment plan was set up and the cost was to be $1, 354.00 after paying 9 monthly payments I set up an appointment to have the lower dentures done. I have 4 teeth remaining on the bottom which removal was included in the price. I made clear to the office worker at that time that I expected to pay the same $399.00 for the lowers as I did for the uppers it was a matter of financing and income she said she would charge me the same price as the uppers were. After my appointment a new office worker who replaced the previous one said there was a mistake and I will be charged twice the amount! I expect to pay the amount I was quoted when I first set up my treatment plan. I have the original plan and the shocking new one for collaboration should you require it. malpractice and customer fraud
I went to Aspen Dental in Ames Iowa and saw Dr Scott Hensen, he ended up doing an extremely poor job on my dental work, he talked me into having 2 crowns put on when I wanted those 2, teeth extracted. He also over did a filling and now that filling has broke in half, so I have half of my tooth exposed. I have had nothing but issues with all the dental work he has done. I had to go back multiple times to have it corrected and it still hasn't been resolved. I have nothing but pain since having Dr Scott Hansen work on my teeth.

horrible service. endangering client
The office delivered horrible service multiple times! Neglected attention when it was most needed, never followed up neither finished the service.
First when a couple of years ago I had crowns done by this company I didn't have too many issues. I took out a smaller loan and was paying it down fast. Never missed a payment never had problems.
I went back a year later to get a bridge and another 2 crowns placed. I had a doctor who was 8 month pregnant looking at my x-ray. I had. M a small black hole on one of my toot and after she analyzed the x-ray she said it's not a cavity it's a trauma on the tooth but she told me if I insist they can just remove it. I told her yes because I can't believe it's not a cavity. When I went back for the procedure I had a different dentist. He ended up drilling for 45 minutes it was such a huge cavity. The other doc made a huge mistake.
I had lost crown 2 month ago. I called in that I was on a lot of pain and that I have an emergency. They didn't care at all gave me an appointment a week later. I had to get something over the counter to glue my broken crown back until I can see someone. It was very painful. I go in a week later. They've already numbed my face when the doctor comes in and informs me that they can't prep my tooth that day I have to come back another time. A week later! At this point I am so upset I ended up writing a review on their website. The review wasn't posted instead I got an email from the manager that they put some money back on my account and my review was never posted. I go back to get my tooth prepped. They numbed me again. The assistant who made the temporary crown drops it on the ground. Picks it up, washes it and acts like nothing happened. I had to go back a week or ten days later. I go in they numbed me again.. Took the temporary crown off and they inform me that it doesn't fit I have to come back again. At this point I am tired of getting shots every other week and scared to go back because so far everything went wrong. I wrote them on the aspen dental page that is there any option for me to go to a different aspen office (there is one in daytona) never heard back from anyone! Now I am here still with the temporary crown, they suppose to have my permanent crown but never heard from anyone.. The way they handle clients at this office is ridiculous and unprofessional! I trusted them. Went back even after they made so many mistakes! Now they left me with a half done job.
I took a loan out for my dental work and I was paying them religiously and I still do even tho they are letting me down. Now I need to find a dentist now to make sure all previous work was done by this office won't be in endangering my heath in the future?
dental billing
I was quoted one price at time of exam and then charged triple the amount when I showed up. I have had multiple quotes for my whole family. I talked with corporate when my husband got his dentures. Had three staff fired for their behavior. Corporate gave my family a 30 percent discount for services and so I have had myself and children seen but they won't apply the company discount to any of them. Months of no calls no shows anxiety with trying to get my husband back in the door and they have been terrible. I have tried to work with them and keep coming back and then they hike up the prices. They screamed at customers told people that were waiting for hours to get lost. They had to redo their entire staff and yet I still tried to work with them. I have referred multiple people to them and gave high praise and they turn around and treat my family like crap. Just referred my next door neighbor for complete dentures they spent thousands because I told them to go there because I thought the company was going to do right by my family. I came in and they said no discount and for me it would be 1500.00 out of pocket for three root canals and a couple of cavities. Please help. I want your company to do what is right for families that put their trust in them. Stacy whipple

Spoke with corporate head of operations from November 2018 to Feb 2019 and promised a 30% discount for all services that's why I brought my family. Have three more kids I was going to bring in and two more people that wanted referrals but now I don't know if I will refer them or not.
pain/unprofessionalism
I was seen yesterday to have what I believed to be a piece of tooth removed from my gums. As the numbing agent wore off, I noticed the piece, which turned out to be bone, was still there and they removed an entire tooth instead. Still in pain, I called back to inform them of there mistake. I was seen again this morning to remove the bone. The bone is still protruding, and now I can't eat on the left side of my mouth because they took the remaining tooth without proper consent. They made me a 'plan' that I did not agree with and refuse to go with my goals. Not to mention, I was not given a refund for the tooth they took without permission. Absolute worst experience I've ever had or heard of from a dental office.
misdiagnosis of periodontal disease and other concerns.
I went to Aspen Highland IN November 2017. It was diagnosed that I had to have four teeth that needed to hand root canals/crowns, imp!ants or extracted. Due to the cost factor, I opted for the extraction. I was also told that I needed four filings and I had periodontal disease. I was given a prescription for the infection in the teeth that were to be extracted. When the appointment came for the extraction, I was prept and the dentist who was to do the extraction, took such a long time between the numbing and the procedure, that the anesthesia wore off and the pain was great. I was felt that due to the schedule, I felt that I was like a side of beef. I was soon after that had four fillings treated. No problem. I had the treatments for periodontal. In the fall of 2018, I had a crown break off I went immediately to Aspen to get treatment and was told I had to make an appointment. My insurance started to have my previous dentist in there group. I made an appointment and they informed me that I had no periodontal disease. Aspen told me periodontal disease was treatable only but not curable. What gives? How I wonder if the extracts were all necessary. Did the denture (Temporary) contribute to the problem I had with the crown that broke and will need an implant to remedy.
their dental procedure and not following through on accepting payments per commercials
I took my husband there and they talked us into an upper denture for him. After the lady, I believe her name was Desiree, ran what our plan covered and after the insurance paid their part and I put $675.00 from my HSA card twords the bill it left about $700.00 for us to make payments on. I continued to make payments but the "temporary denture" kept falling apart. Every month one of the teeth would come out and would need to be fixed. Even though he would eat soft foods teeth would come out. The last time I took it up to get fixed my husband said it didn't fit right. When I called to make an appointment for him to go in. When we got there we were told that unless we paid the full amount due, which was #1185.00 they would not be able to fix the denture. I said, "what? Our bill should be down to $600.00 they said our insurance didn't pay as much as they had said in the beginning. I said we don't have that kind of money. They said to give them back the denture if we couldn't finish paying them. So we gave them over $800.00 and have nothing in return. Our insurance also changed the beginning of the year to Apple health where the state pays for the denture and they refused to accept it.

Long story short...all teeth pulled for dentures by recommendation of 1 dentist. Follow up visit a different dentist.a huge turnover of dentists in this office. I had an allergic reaction to the impression material and was unable to get an accurate fitting or bite for my dentures. I can't eat or talk correcrtly to this day. Can not get them to fix or compensate for the fact that I still am in temporary plates. Permanenet plates do not fit either. I NEED a solution and they insist they can not do anything but take more impressions. I am allergic...I literally vomit for hours when they use that material. They say they have no other solution. I work two jobs and deal with people all the time. I need these dentures to fit. In the meantime my mouth is FULL of sores, bumps and I have a constant sore throat and lots of phelgym along with a burning sensation. I am praying I don't wind up with cancer in my mouth. Please help me. Thanks for your time and consideration in this matter.

I was Hired and started my 1st day of training in a office 76 miles away. My first 7 days i was Unable to log into the system. My manager assured me that this was being worked on. Since my position was Asst Office manager i said I have noticed a lot of cell phone use as well, the OM for the location also said yes! I went outside to continue my lunch and received a call from my hiring manager saying disrespect would not be tolerated and employment has been terminated. I was In shock and asked her to elaborate she refused and asked me to gather my things. Never have i experienced this form and treatment And form of discrimination.

I went to The Dental Clinic for their Free Exam, cleaning and X-ray special. I told them I had Dental insurance which would pay for it, but they said, don't worry, it's Free. I always maintained a healthy dental regimen. I took them up on the offer. At the time of exam the Dentist/ hygienist exclaimed that I had severe gum disease and infections around several teeth. Upon charting my gums, they shouted the numbers across the room, with deep gum pocket recessed. I was shocked, and they scared me into a "deep cleaning and scaling" with antibiotic beads inserted into the infected gums and that this deep cleaning needed to Ben done ASAP. I did the treatment and was billed $577. I put the amount on a Dental, credit card. I also was told that I needed to buy and electric toothbrush, and antibiotic mouthwash. Alsotold id need these deep cleanings for the rest of my life, 2 to 3 times a year, cost $250. I couldn't understand how my healthy teeth got so bad so quickly, so I went to a Periodontist for a second opinion l After an extensive exam and charting of my gum lines, he told me, in writing as well, that I have NO gum disease and that I have a very healthy mouth and teeth. I am seeking reinmbursment if $577. I have all the charts and records from both Dentists. I filed a dispute with The Credit Card but they found in dds favor
