Class action lawsuit against aspen dental forming
Within the first 3 days of posting the notice alerting consumers about the formation of a class action lawsuit against aspen dental, there has been an overwhelming response from angry patients wishing to participate in this action.
To answer the question posed by many frustrated patients – yes, aspen has designed its patient service department to effectively diffuse your isolated complaints; this is why you will never successfully receive any justice from aspen dental when presented as an individual complaint. But, aspen cannot evade and will be held accountable to the thousands of angry patients who are collectively unified under this large and comprehensive class action lawsuit.
With the high volume of feedback and interest in participating in this class action lawsuit, we are requesting that in your email you identify your complaint as being in one of the three following categories:
1. Dental malpractice – in which you have been physically injured by their dental “care. ”
2. Consumer fraud – includes cases in which office personnel of aspen dental used high pressure sales tactics designed to take your money with false promises of providing competent dental health care.
3. Combination of malpractice and consumer fraud.
To respond to one of the most frequently asked questions: yes, you can remain anonymous!
When you email the description of your complaint for inclusion in this action, simply request that we assign you a confidential identity.
As a new patient, a reasonable person would not expect aspen dental to take unfair advantage of a dental problem – after all, they are considered to be a healthcare facility; however, when you sit down with the office manager to discuss your dental treatment plan it becomes clear that your money, not your health, is aspen's primary objective. The job of the aspen office manager is to force you into accepting the most costly and extensive dental work possible. This is termed “conversion” and is against the law.
To respond to another frequently asked question - yes, aspen dental rewards its employees with financial bonus incentives for exceeding monthly production goals. This bonus system is based upon aspen's internal use of “metrics” which pressures each office to compete against other aspen offices. Unfortunately, since aspen’s management team is composed of individuals whose background is in “consumer retail” – not in healthcare - they operate the dental care facility as a retail business in which you are not viewed as a patient - instead, you are simply a paying customer. Aspen dental’s motto is: “to create a happy, paying patient. ” but, unfortunately once you pay, you quickly discover that you are not happy.
This class action lawsuit will effectively make aspen dental accountable for their acts through the unified and coherent voice of thousands of patients who have been wrongfully injured by aspen dental.
This class action lawsuit will channel thousands of patient complaints into a collectively powerful force which will finally stop aspen. Your participation in this class action lawsuit will not cost you any money - the legal services are free to you. And, you may be entitled to receive money as compensation for your loss and suffering.

Aspen dental is nothing but a rip, off I paid 2600.00 for a new set of dentures and they were made out of acrylic I ask if they made them out of anything besides Acrylic and they said no, when I receive the denture they were awful, , the two front teeth were never in the middle of my smile they had bad places in the teeth, I told the dentist and they put some enamel on the front teeth but left a spot and, I told them that I had a lump in the top of my mouth they made my mouth burn I ask her could she replace them, , she said no plus the fact that they didn't fit and they cause the lump in the top of my mouth, so she just shaved the acrylic away where the lump was. I went t o ENT dr and they the lump was from bad fitting dentures … Now I have to go back to the ENT dr to make sure this lump is not bad, , and I don't have to have surgery... theses people were so intimating, they made me feel like I was just whining and the dentist said all I needed to do was get use to wearing them … I have never been able to wear them for long and I had to wear my older dentures, , which broke, , now I have to wear the new ones I purchased and I have been getting sick from the acrylic so I pray you can help me this all happen in septeber of 2016 but the warranty I understood was for 7 years, , thank you very much, , , Barbara knight
I posted a request last fall 2019. But have not heard from anyone. Is there an actual lawsuit in progress?

Administered anesthesia incorrectly (opposite jaw of affected area) for an extraction. Overcharged by “bait-and-switch tactic” for services I did not need. Came out of office with a bruised jaw from anesthesia and improper temporary extraction on wrong side of face. The extraction was performed on the left side of my upper molders which was correct but the following day after the procedure, the DDS injected anesthesia to my right side to remove the temporary that was placed in the absence of the removed tooth. The DDS would not or did not listen to her assistant nor me (as best as I could speak) that he/she were working on the wrong side of my face inside of my mouth. I was charged for the two injections that were administered regardless of what was right or wrong. The DDS never apologized nor explained her actions. Plus when she attempted to remove my temporary placed in my mouth during surgery the day before, she left my mouth inside and out severely bruised. Photograph provided below. Now this practice has me in their strong-arm collections agency and are threatening me. I wrote the FTC immediately after this happened and sought pro-bono legal representation to no avail. No one has called me back.
I was a first time patient, so the exrays were free and the exam. I wanted two teeth extracted and a partial. The cost was supposed to be 1200 dollars, the two teeth were extracted, they said I had ginivsh and had to have a through cleaning first. I have never had problems with my gums. Then after the cleanings they made me one flipper I said where is the other tooth so they took that tooth and added the other, which didn't fit. I thought I was wearing this until I got my partial, which I never received. They charged me 1800 dollars and said they didn't offer me a partial..said that's all they were going to do for me. My previous dentist had retired. Perry Finlaw
Since July, 2017 Aspen Dental has been my worse nightmare..They tried to fit me with lower dentures and now they say I owe them a balance of $1900. & still have no lower dentures..After 8 months of wearing the 1st set & asking for my money back they said I needed to upgrade to next level that would add $700 more to my bill..I agreed& it was the same thing..I finally decided they could not help me & asked for my money back..Their answer was I would have to give the dentures Back to them..So the 2nd set I gave back but the 2nd set I do not have..Possibly, when I was using the 1st set & my mouth was hurting I wrapped them in napkin & threw them in trash by mistake..After paying monthly payments for several months & still no lower dentures I am not sending monthly payments in..I am 81 years old & cannot afford to go somewhere else..I have tried to get help with this problem but so far no one can help..
Okay,, who do I contact to get more info on this lawsuit.. faulty products and over charging is my complaint.
I need to know as well! Skadel@outlook.com
Took my hub to Aspen Dental (local - Dunkirk, NY) - had to have 10 extractions to have lower dentures put in. After 2+ hours, i was taken into the back room where he was with a mouth full of gauze where the dentist (Dr. Hernandez) told me that he had to have the one lower back molar removed elsewhere as she could not get it out. Referred me to another practice nearby. When i called them, was told they do not "finish someone else's work." Went back inside to Aspen and confronted the desk clerk (Bob). He spoke to the doctor (right in front of me but about 50 feet away) and told me my hub would have to come back the following Wed. for the oral surgeon to extract the tooth and put the dentures in. Procedure was on Thurs, - return date was 6 days later. THEN, after we got home, his gums would not stop bleeding. They had given us one packet of gauze which was used in less than an hour. I went to the local drugstore to get more and it seems about every 45 minutes to an hour, he had to change it due to the bleeding. I called Aspen and insisted he be seen - they stopped it there and kept him for observation for about 40 minutes to make sure it had stopped. Not a very good first experience for my hub or myself. Then they tell us he will have to have several pairs of temporaries until the swelling subsides on his gums - I have requested an actual breakdown of their charges as we got a total ($3448) - Unbelievable how they justify this type of behavior.
I too have been wronged by Aspin Dental . I dont have any information on how to get on the class action case Dave Ostrom [protected]
These guys shot 20 Plus Xrays of my face during an initial consultation.
Very disappointing and then sent me a bill! I had insurance involved and they maliciously scammed me into believing my insurance was applicable.
Way to much radiation!
Very unproffessional .they over charge for bad work. They ruined my temps by grinding them for a reline.they don't fit now..they claim they always have to grind them down..other dentists say no. No one will try to fix their mistake.all I get is told I'll have to use more adhesive until I get the permanent..so for the past 4 months I have been on what I call the ashen diet since it is impossible to eat much with bad fitting dentures.in my opinion they should have made a new temp set since they messed up and should not be making excuses. By the way they have charged me 6800.00
Told me I needed dentures, took me in 2 days later pulled all my teeth and broke through sinus cavities. Did not tell me got a severe invention and it took 40 days of 3-4 different antibiotics before the ENT could do repair surgery. My lower gum line is a miss and they charged over 12, 000.00. I had insurance they didn’t bill them. So my new dentist requested the charts and they said no and then said they were sending the insurance through now. 2 years after the fact. Got EOB back from insurance and they over charged me $2500.00. I requested a refund but they put up a hassle, finally they would send me my check for the money the frauded from me but I had to sign a disclaimer that I would never seek anything fot damages and they would not honor the lifetime warranty & I wasn’t welcomed in their offices. I signed to get my money back but after my name I put “signed under duress “. Which I was told could be over turned by a judge. I don’t go out in public much because I have about $40, 000.00 worth of dental work and no funds. Ruined my life
SAME. Down to the fistula left into my sinus cavity which was for 3 months, several infections, food and drink coming out my nose any time I tried to eat or drink. Lost weight, kept infection at all times. Surgeon finally closed fistula thousands of dollars later and asked me why I would ever go to a horrible “clinic” like Aspen. He contacted my dentist at Aspen and told him that he’d better make me a new temporary because mine was a sorry excuse. The next one was even worse. And my final was worse than the temps. Cost us thousands of dollars, I could have implants at this point but we’re completely broke after they ran us through the ringer and caused all the other doctor/surgeon visits which we had to pay for. If he ever saw me on the books he’d either not come in or he’d take a break before I arrived. We didn’t know what to do and I was so sick with the infections. We just left it alone and I’ve lived with these painful ugly partials for the last few years. It is terrible.
very unprofessional. keep trying to get me to let them pull remaining teeth which do not need to come out, dentures are wrong color, and they are way too big. took in twice for refit and they keep saying they are beautiful and i need to get use to them.
First appointment 4/7/21 at 9:30. Next apt. 4/13/21. Was told it would take 1 to 2 weeks to receive dentures. After not receiving no call that dentures were ready; called repeatedly and was told to come in 5/4/21. Went back twice to get dentures adjusted. Asked for the dentist and the dental assistance (she stated this was her title) stated dentist was not present and she would adjust the dentures. Paid over four thousand dollars and cannot wear the dentures.
Signed up for less expensive dentures due to my age. Billed for more expensive dentures without me signing agreement. Had to go back numerous times and after second set of dentures which look something caveman would have built. Staff very courteous and professional but no to their dentures.
I was in my twenties when I had to have Dentures put in they charged me a lot more than I was supposed to and never had me come back or let me schedule my appointment for the last visit where they solidify the Dentures so I've had soft Dentures for 7 years finally MassHealth has covered a new pair for free. It cost me $3, 000 numerous visits and mistakes horrible communication on their end. I'm glad they're finally getting their business called out for the fraud it commits.
This was also back in 2014 I think they were at their shadiest around then
I've spent around $12, 000 on root canals and crowns. My canine was too big and crammed in place. Now its loose along with 3 others around it. Asked for a cleaning and got scaling done instead.. was spitting out bone fragments for days. Now i have a total of 8 loise teeth as a result of their poor workmanship. Can't afford further treatment and am on a soft food diet. Developed trigeminal neuralgia from the nerve damage. My spouse was given a crown on the wrong tooth which was put in jutting out. Now the new temp partials don't fit and he never got the permanent ones. He protested charges but they dint care. He just received lawsuit papers from the finance company they shield themselves through. We both would love to get our money back and see them put out of business.
My canines were also crammed in. They are all gone now. Every tooth left in my mouth is gone, broken at the gum line. So the root is still in there. My doctor gave me a huge hematoma on the bottom of my face where he pushed his knuckles into my face so hard, it was terrible. Mid-extraction while I was in a lot of pain, I was terrified because he didn’t know what he was doing, I was send down the street to a surgeon to have remaining tooth/teeth pulled. Doc left a large fistula into my sinus cavity where Anything I put into mouth came out my nose.. for months I suffered from this. Which caused infection. I eventually needed sinus surgery. Another surgeon in Atlanta was very upset with my Aspen doc for 2 reasons: giving me a non-fitting temporary that I could never eat in and blistered my mouth and gums & for not ever closing the fistula which caused me a great deal of pain and suffering. I was finally fixed and I was told to sue him. It took 4 years to get my partial good enough that I just left it with that. It was better than anything else they had done but was/is still horrible. But I was able to not go back at that time. It was at least helping me to eat and with lots of denture cream they stayed in my mouth. I went to 5 Atlanta area / local Aspen’s and also one in Alabama seeking help and got nothing. I am in desperate need of new dentures but I’m terrified to go back to the dentist and after they were done with me I cannot afford to go anywhere else for anything. Needing an oral surgeon last minute and having to take myself mid-extraction was bad enough but they wiped out our bank account trying to pay for these that don’t work and cause me pain every day, all day.
I got my full mouth of teeth pulled and dentures from Aspen in 2012... my upper has fit well with glue since I got them but my lower dentures have never fit great... I don't wear the lowers much except for meals... recently I noticed my uppers are becoming looser as well so since my daughter was going in to Aspen today for what they said was a necessity to have all her upper teeth removed and an upper plate put in and I was her driver, I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for an adjustment... I was told they couldn't reline my current dentures because it would make the problem worse, and that adjustments are only done if they are causing pain and they recommended new dentures and implants which would cost around $12000... umm nope! I'm good! I will be going to get a second opinion for sure, but my concern now is did they just pull the same song and dance on my daughter?! She is 27 years old and her teeth weren't in bad condition, but she was told she had infection in her upper jaw bone and they said this was her only option and it had to be done right away... the poor girl is in terrible pain tonight and hating that she had the procedure done at all... she hates her new teeth and feels ugly. 😞
We paid 17, 000 plus in cash for denture implants that never worked. Implants started to come out within 6 months of having them. We are having to try to get new traditional dentures made. The cost will be 6, 000 plus. Since implants my husband is now on the heart transplant list. The financial burden this has caused us is sad. We took a good part of money that was meant for our elderly years and threw it away. At the time we felt we were doing the better and right choice. Wishing now we could go back in time and just go with a traditional denture that could have saved us over 10, 000 dollars.
Can someone tell me is there a class action lawsuit against Aspen dental? My husband had an infection that was was visually seen and dentist would not treat. Causing an abscess get so out of hand that it took a few treatments to even get to do a root canal. Aspen has been saying they finally gonna send a gift card to pay the bill that should have never been ours. They keep giving us a run around it’s been atleast 4 months since they said they sent the gift card. That’s just a short version.
Don’t go to Aspen Dental in Brooklyn ohio. They are liars and been holding my refund for 6 months. They lie to get more money from patients. I will never go or refer anyone to NO Aspen Dental office ever.
I went to Aspen in 2020 for a partial that's it. well they will tell you you will need to do this this this and this. i had 2 insurances and they told me my insurance would pay x amount. well in the end. i ended up with two crowns, x-rays, teeth cleaned and flex partials top and bottom. i gave them over 500.00 to help with my bill. then i get another bill from dental first finance over 3000.00 and i tried to dispute the amount, aspen sent them 1300 back and i still owe over 1500. in which i am paying on time every month at a cost of 107.00 per month. here it is 2022 and i get a bill from aspen for almost 3000.00. i asked why did it take you so long to bill me. after speaking to 3 different people who all sounded like they were upset with me for whatever reason, i offered to pay them 50.00 a month and i was told it would take me 4 years to pay. and even if i did they would still turn me over to collections. and that i should get dental first finance to pay them off and just have one bill and i stated that will make my payments go higher the lady responded yes it will. they make you think they have a solid agreement with your insurance and then they start telling you what all has to be done. my credit is good and now my fear is they will ruin what i worked so hard for...HELP
Do you have a phone number to contact? I have a major issue with Aspen dental and I need to add myself to this list. Immediately.
Me too which one do you go to?
Whatever you do, do not go to Aspen Dental. They do not care about your well-being. They only care about how much money the can get out of you/your insurance.
Came in on a Tuesday because my gums surrounding lower left wisdom tooth was clearly infected. Was in pain and gums were very swollen, to the point they were covering a significant portion of the tooth. I was leaving for a week long vacation on Friday, so I asked if it was possible to treat the infection and then to schedule the extraction for when I returned from vacation. Was told no, both my lower wisdom teeth had to come out asap. I asked if I needed to be put under for the procedure (I did not state that I was against this, I just wanted to mentally prepare myself and arrange for a ride if needed) and was told it was not necessary.
Dr. scheduled me to come back Thursday morning for extraction. They gave me an oral rinse and a promise that they'd submit a prescription for Motrin that night. The prescription was never submitted so I had to call back in the morning and wait until the afternoon for medication. Medication still did not clear the pain, as my gums were very infected and inflamed. Oral rinse did nothing to help with pain.
Extraction was very difficult. Requested gas prior to numbing injection but was told they just did not have any! Injection was EXTREMELY painful. Had to be numbed again in middle of procedure. Was informed that my lower left wisdom tooth had to be broken into pieces to remove because it was embedded in the bone. With all the x-rays taken at my initial visit, this should have been clear to see.
After injection wore off, I was in intense pain all night. Had to call in the am to request antibiotics and a stronger pain killer. Not sure why antibiotics weren’t prescribed right away, seeing as gums were infected. At first I didn’t question it, because I figured the dentist was the expert. But now I suspect it’s because dentist was worried that if antibiotics started to make me feel better, I might cancel the extraction. Have read several online complaints after extraction claiming that Aspen dentist are paid commissions by the procedure. But still not sure why antibiotics weren’t prescribed for immediately after the extraction at the very least.
After 3 days, my stitches fell out because my gums were simply too infected to hold them in.
After 5 days, I had to seek a dentist in the area I was on vacation in. He informed me that:
1. I should have been placed on an antibiotic immediately after my first visit.
2. My gums were way more inflamed than they should be 5 days post extraction.
3. A general dentist should never have attempted to extract a tooth embedded in the bone. I should have been referred to an oral surgeon.
4. I have nerve damage from the procedure and I have to see an oral surgeon to assess the extent of the damage and if it will require surgery to correct (if it even can be corrected).
It has been 10 days since the extraction and I am in pain around the clock. So much so, that I have not been able to sleep more than 3 hours a night. I spent the majority of my vacation sitting in the hotel, alternating heat packs and cold packs on my jaw and sobbing.
I can barely open my mouth. My lower lip and chin still have a numb sensation. Whenever a slight breeze hits my face, my chin burns and contracts painfully from the nerve damage. My gums surrounding the extraction are still bright red and the opening has barely begun to close. The left side of my face is still swollen. Thank God I will be seeing an oral surgeon tomorrow.
This dentist should have known better, and I fully suspect that she did. She should have referred me to an oral surgeon, but she never warned me that this extraction could be beyond her skill level and the possible complications I would face.
Also, they tried to tack on a $150 electric toothbrush and $3,000 invisilign. Dentist I saw on vacation said there is no way my teeth need invisilign.
After visit w oral surgeon he confirmed that I do have nerve damage and put me on steroids hoping that will help the healing. If not he’ll have to refer me to one of few oral surgeons in MI that repair nerve damage. Also had to be prescribed 3rd week of antibiotics since lymph nodes are still very swollen. Oral surgeon was surprised the dentist did not discuss possibility of complications with me since xrays clearly show my tooth was extremely close to the nerve.

Hi my wife just had this procedure and reading this was like reliving her whole experience literally to a T… the ‘new development’ in the middle of her surgery about the embedded tooth after they’d taken several X-rays prior. Misled on numbing/anesthesia procedures. Her stitches even came out the day after her surgery…. After reading this how the hell do I become a part of this. Her pain is almost barbaric and the fact that this is common is appalling
They gave me a electric toothbrush and a so called special mouthwash to treat my gums. They never told me that had to pay out of pocket for those things. Awhile later I rec’d s bill in the amount of 175 for mouthwash and a electric toothbrush. I’m going to request my money back and contact the BBB
Sounds like what could have been my wife's nightmare if we had not sought a second opinion on the the day of her follow up.
Went last week because her primary was booked. That was a mistake, No examination by the doc. Just amoxicillan and a sales pitch with a follow up for this past Tuesday.
Swelling and pain got worse over the weekend,
Instead of going to another sales pitch Tuesday we went to the ER. They switched her to a stronger antibiotic and an rx for the pain.
Made an appointment with her primary for the next day hoping he'd just pull it. After an x-ray and due to the location of the swelling, tenderness, and antibiotics having no effect he couldn't be certain it was tooth related and not something more. With a quick [censored] chewing and lecture for going to Aspen he said go to the ER now!
20 min drive to the ER from the dentist, the swelling had almost doubled and the possibility of it being lymphoma became very real. Time seemed to have stopped waiting for her bloodwork and CT results. When they did I couldn't have been happier to get such bad news.
It was a bad tooth infection deep in her jaw, had to be transported to the Trauma Center ER 140 miles away in Charleston for an emergency surgery. Swelling almost doubled again by the time they took her in to the O.R. As soon as we arrived they began treating her for sepsis by administering antibiotics and morphine intravenously. The medical staff at the hospital were couldn't believe that the dentist at Aspen didn't recognize this as a medical emergency. Had we waited another day, my wife may have become my late wife because of their greed.
I am interested in being a part of this class action lawsuit by the email address noted is not valid. Can you please send it to me?
How do I get added on this class action lawsuit against Aspen Dental?
Aspen Dental is absolutely a joke. I got my teeth pulled was told I could ask my dentist when I came for Mt appointment to be sedated. That was a lie. I had the most terrifying experience, anxiety, crying. They didn't even care about that. It's been a nightmare ever since. Got dentures, had to remold a new set cause first set was awful, when I finally got my dentures I went back serval times and still they was terrible. Filed a complaint through BBB got to speak to a district manager and they set me up to talk to the dentist that runs the office in Troy Dr.Modi. When I went to meet him no one new about a appointment, two when he did see me he would make excuses for everything that went on. Then told me I needed implants because of my bone structure that's why my dentures don't fit. The sent me to see the financial lady. I was told it would cost over 23,000,we all know that's not happening. I decided to get a second opinion because I wanted to know if Dr.Modi was right or I was right. Well I went to my second opinion appointment, dentist looked at my dentures put them in took them out serval times. Dentist said your bite is off and that's why my dentures don't fit. The dentist took very good care of me he wasn't in a rush explained everything to me and I paid another 1600 to get dentures that fit . I was so happy I cried. I knew I was right. I love my dentures. Now I want Apsen to reimburse me for my pain and suffering, I was so depressed and would not go anywhere with anyone. I want my money back for what the dentures cost also. I would be more than happy to return both sets.
I am right there with you. Worst experience ever. Never got any help or my so called permanent dentures. They have ignored me and the only few times I was there, I left in tears. I have tried to work with these people, but they just don't give a damn. They pulled all my teeth and I felt everything, cause the numbing stuff had wore off, cause the dentist was gone for over an hour. I was in so much pain and they DID NOT care. It has been over a year and I still have no teeth and no answers. They are bullies and love to belittle you. I hate how they treated me and took away my confidence.
I too am interested in joining this suit, please send my the info
I would love to join the suit after the permanent Dental implant fell out of my mouth because the dentist didn’t put it in correctly and I am having a hard time getting my money back from them Then I got charged for a bill for 2020 and 2021 and I just got it this month June 2022. I hope someone out there can help me with this matter.
I had my teeth pulled at Aspen dental and dentures almost 2 years ago and I'm still in a lot of pain... They don't fit right I paid $4,200 it's been a nightmare they said 100% money back guarantee but they will not stand behind their guarantee. I would like to be part of the class action suit against them
tried to charge me more then what my insurance said what i owed. had about year and looks like mold or black on them wont come off. has anyone had this problem .
they all do the same thing from what i've heard, my dentist charged me 600 a tooth to pull! 300 for roots on each tooth my dentures I had the first week a front tooth broke off I told them i wanted another set the office manager said nothing wrong with those they look great ya right! then a few months later another one broke, then last yeae another broike they charged me 190.00 to repair it a few months ago another one broke and they tell me well they are old they are now 10 yrs old but the trouble started the first week! i would love to sue them! such a rip off
I had some temporary partial made and it didn't fit right from the beginning. They said I'll get used to it. I didn't. Then two weeks later it broke. I had it repaired and it broke again in the next month. So far it's broken 12 times and I've had it repaired. It cost me $1600 initially just to have it made. I've been told by other dentists that I was overcharged. It broke again recently but all the Aspen dental offices in Ohio are only open one day a week and can't handle the patients they have. They can't fix my partial any longer and are trying to force me into getting the permanent partial that's around 7-8 thousand dollars. I need to join this law suit if it's still going on.
I need someone to contact me regarding this I'm sure I qualify
Had the last 6 teeth left in my mouth pulled by Aspen and had dentures put right in top and bottom. Went back in the next day and they took my dentures out to check out my mouth and adjust the dentures, dentist said there was a small chip of tooth left behind and would work it's way out itself, so took it at face value. Well that day things started to hurt so I took out my dentures and what I saw inside my mouth was a mess , it looked like big pieces of my gums where missing all the way to the to the top of the gums with what looks like pieces of sharp bone going the full length and multiple tooth chips left behind! Called Aspen and told them I can't put my new teeth in with out pain and they where floating in my mouth, so they got me in . Went my appointment the next day and the dentist looked in my mouth quickly and was insisting on put my dentures in, I refused and told them if they did I would not be able to eat at all with the dentures in or out, so they sent me home and told me to come back for my 3 week check-up (about 1 more week before I go back). Don't know what I can do and don't want to be left without teeth, please, please, I need help, what should be done?
I've been in pain ever since I went there to have a filling that fell out replaced and crowned. She drilled purposely close to the nerve (I had the old filling fall out several months before and decided maybe I should get a new filling and crown to save the tooth).
Prior to this I had no pain. In pain ever since. They really want that insurance money in every column and the full amount of the loan you're forced to take out. She did that purpose to force me into a root canal. I want to sue them badly; the pain has forced my blood pleasure up to dangerously high levels. Over two months now. I want to sue her and the company for this.
An ex-friend of mine was a dentist, he told me all his tricks to keep people coming back Does anyone know where to start a lawsuit at?
I was charged $1,997 for just upper dentures I paid $1,000 cash the first day the next time I went in I paid $250 then I paid $300 then I paid $200. When I went back in the balance they gave me was not the difference between $1,997 and the $1,750 I had paid they were missing the $300 payment I went to the car and got the receipt and gave it to the receptionist that had originally took the payment she took it back said she had to talk to the office manager came back and said it would be taken care of. The next time I called to make an appointment the 300 still had not been adjusted when I called to talk to the regional manager or the acting regional manager and I faxed a copy of all my receipts showing proof of payment and the $300 receipt showed somebody else's name on it they put it on somebody else's account this was on September 21st. I then received a letter through FedEx from Aspen Dental that I was a risk management. So I've paid $1,750 for dentures that don't fit because I still need a final lining and I still don't know if they've put the $300 on my account so apparently if they make a mistake and you complain you're a risk management and they will not complete the work.
wow , now that is fraud did they put the payment on someones bill they knew, i had 3 teeth pulled at once back 10 yrs ago when i had ins. but my payment out of pocket was over 1000, i had to go through care credit and after aweek of having the top dentures the front tooth broke off! i told them i wanted a new set as it never looked right never happened since then 3 teeth have come out so aggravating and now they tell me i need new dentures and charged me 185.00 for the tooth that came out last summer only to have it come out again i refused to pay them just to put the same tooth back in. i did pay the 185.00 but it happened 2 more times all within a year. I also gave they got 1500. from my ins. and billed me 1500.
How do I get my 70 year old father on this lawsuit? He went in to get 6 teeth pulled & they gave him a temporary bridge.
They were only going to charge him $600 out of pocket but he's now gotten statements from Aspen Dental & the medical credit card place they had him agree to for closer to $3,000. This is absurd as there isn't even an appointment made for getting his "permanent" bridge.
Please let me know what I need to do to get him on this?
The similar thing happened to me and they charged my insurance for dentures I never received and a debt collector is after me for over $3,000. I'm in Missouri but if you get answers please let me know
I'm still waiting for my compensation from a deep cleaning, I never needed. They're still telling people their teeth will fall out if they don't get it done. (When all they need is a regular cleaning.) I talked to the owner and she wouldn't even look at me. She stared straight down at the ground. Can't get more guilty than that.
Same. I am fuming about it at this point. I am so angry I trusted them and was put in a position like that and forced to take out a loan w/care credit to have it done. Feel like a fool for not questioning it and/or walking out. So so very angry.
I'm sure I qualify for this as I've spent $10,000 for two tops and a partial bottom. I was charged for a cleaning that never happened. My dentures don't fit well and look at me funny when I say I have problems with them.
I was not in pain until I went there, broke front teeth was embarrassed trying to get them fixed,I work overnights my appointment was at 7am at noon they came to me with proposed treatment I was so sleepy from being up 24 hours, the roped me into care credit 5 thousand dollars, billed my insurance for the wrong teeth, they did a crown that immediately fell off on a tooth insurance stated was missing or previously removed...please help I need my front teeth and they are demanding more money above the 5 thousand.
They want cash every visit. Hundreds of dollars
I need to know how to get in on this because they royally screwed me. Not only did they not make the teeth correct but did not tell me that the payment plan I was put on was a damn credit card. It ended up being sent to collections which I paid off but it has screwed my credit more than you can imagine. It is the only bad thing on there but it dropped it from 698 to 530. The need to be held accountable.
They don't care I heard one of the workers say don't worry about it Medical bills don't effect your credit! Holy cow
We all need file better business complaints
Would anyone be able to give me the email to contact them to get included in this lawsuit? They really did my mom wrong from her having the dental implants installed and it getting infected and them not prescribing her antibiotics til several calls. Her chin has pus oozing from it when poked.
