Had all work done during the pandemic including all extractions and 2 front bottom implants inserted at the Lincolnton NC office. Dr. Salem was the dentist at this time. While tightening or torqueing the left implant there was a loud cracking sound and he apologized. I have tried numerous times to explain to the different staff members the issues i have been having with the size, the bite, and the fact I can not even bite into a sandwich. They have replaced the bushins or whatever they are called twice for the implants cause they blew out. Made minor adjustments and sent me on my way. This past year has been really bad with fit and issues, these dentures are too big. I have even explained to them I was having to use pieces of a cotton ball rolled up to balance out my bottom denture due to it moving side to side and while biting the bottom hitting the tops in the back. My left implant started to look black and came with a constant pain. I called again requesting an appointment. At this visit I was told that the implant was failing to schedule to have them removed and placed farther back it was covered. I asked if it was possible to pull it out removing my denture cause thats what the pain felt like and this dentist told me yes so be careful left the room and sent Brittany to see me. Did not make any adjustments to help with any of the issues I had. When I asked about just having them removed and the money refunded cause there's no guarantee the next ones won't fail I got the speech I guess they give everyone and was made to feel like that was my only option. Honestly I am terrified to have this done again at this facility and told the lady this on the phone. Was basically told if I was lucky enough to find someone to take my case I could have it done somewhere else but I would most likely be charged. I requested to cancel my appointment for 5-2-24 for that procedure and stated i really need adjustments and a relign. This lady said well we cant get you in for that till the 21st. Why could they not simply do those things on the appointment date i already had. I just want to be able to smile normally, chew food and be without constant pain.
Desired outcome: I would like for the dentures to be adjusted and refined in a more timely manner until we as a team can figure out how to proceed.
