At Home I have not recieve my refund

Order # [protected] part of this order was shipped and the other part was in-store pickup, however the in-store order was canceled and I have not receive a refund as yet this order was placed in September 2023. My name is Theresa Mathis-Nicholson contact number is [protected]

At Home Poor customer experience at Princeton NJ store by supervisor, Jose

I have never been treated so poorly by a store associate as I have by Jose. He was dismissive and arrogant and the other supervisor who did not care to acknowledge the issue said in a very cold tone, “I’ll speak with him.” When he tried to dismiss me without ringing up all items he said “Well, if you want to steal that’s up to you.” It began that I was picking up an online order and wanted to return some items from that online order. He refused to ring up items and told me to go to another register when he was already assisting me at the register. He needs serious re-training and it was one of the worst customer experiences I have had.

Desired outcome: Apology, I really hope I don’t give in and shop there again

At Home Delivery issues

Billing address was different from delivery address. Couldn't change Billing address because my card wouldn't be accepted. Asked if the addresses were different, I selected yes and it just took my payment without letting me select Billing address and select delivery address. Called for 2 days trying to fix issues, and was told they cannot change the address because they have no contact with the 3rd party service Roadie that they use. I was told I could pick it up myself, but that defeats the purpose of paying for a DELIVERY FEE...if I was able to pick up myself, then I wouldn't have ordered online nor had it delivered? I had to go to the store in person to figure out what was going on? It supposed to be delivered to address I asked for it to go to. For them to not have contact with the people delivering their products makes no sense. I wished I would have know that it was this difficult to get something delivered, I would have never purchased it! I'll never purchase anything from At Home store ever again, in store or online. Very unprofessional and unorganized and the lack of communication makes it even worse.

At Home Two welcome metal signs

I bought two of these signs. They were marked fifty percent off. When I got home I noticed I was charged full price. Came back up to the store and the two managers said we are sorry those items should not have been sold. Plus the clerk wrong up the wrong upc code. I told her I would return them but I have sprayed painted them…they says since I didn’t that they could not return them. After we argued for ten minutes they told me to go all the way home and bring the items in and thorn they would charge me the sale price that I showed them that was online. That is totally unacceptable! To send me all the way home, just to bring the items back that they can’t accept because I spray painted on. They act as if I stole the items! Totally unacceptable. I have my receipt. My name is demetria banks [protected]. Items were purchased on may 16, 2023.

Desired outcome: Refund me the difference in the full price and sale price… I was charged $24.99 for both items and the sticker price was $29.99 with a fifty percent tag on it.

At Home Customer Service

This was the absolute worst shopping experience, shame on me for going back after I had one when they opened. No one greets you they walking around riding around not offering help. If you have no customers coming in and making purchases you won't have shelve to stock. Customers Service means nothing to this staff and apparently they have little expectation as a company for service. I get to the register this was the final straw. Shopper ahead of me have a cart of lawn items no issue the problem was the cashier never called for back up and when the secondary person came up she processed to help the cashier instead of opening another register. Maybe had she acknowledged that we had already been standing in line it would have made a difference, another fail moment. There was no way I could give them my money. This happened 3/25/23 and today is the 3/29/23 this how pissed I get when I think of the vases I had to put back.

Desired outcome: I Walked Out worst Customer Service

i was a fan of the at home strore but this past saturday 06/24/2023 i went to the store and looking for some lanters and what was my discover that the products were overmarked tha is a shame ...i talk to the cashier and her answer is ...oh you know everything is more expensive now...just like that ...i never come back and spend one cent in that store is a bad practices and very dishonest business I'M VERY DISSAPOINTED...SEE PHOTOS

i'm not happy at home was charged full price for tossed pillow $55.28 I didn't refund for the 3 pillows I didn't get no 15% off for birthday that was feb 22 when I ordered these all said in stock I had to drive 35 miles to store in n. canton ohio, I fled complaint yesterday havn't heard any thing homer. At Home Christmas return policy

Purchased Christmas tree on December 27, 2022 in Lexington, Kentucky. Due to having Covid, was unable to examine the tree to make sure it worked until January 20, 2023. Returned the tree on January 21, 2023. The tree pole was too large and would not fit into the tree stand. We paid $149.99 for the tree. When we returned it, we were only given what the tree was selling for at the time ($79.99). The first cashier was very understanding of our situation, but when she called another cashier over to help, she was very rude and all she could say was "the policy is at the bottom of the receipt". We understood the policy at the time, but we tried to explain the tree had a defect which was no fault of our own. We offered to show her the defect, but she was not interested in seeing it. She was very much in a hurry to get us out the door. It wasn't that we were just returning the tree because we didn't want it anymore, but due to it having a defect. When you purchase a product, you expect it to be in working order, but when it isn't you expect the store to respect you and your patronage and do the honest thing, which would have been in this case a full refund. We actually paid At Home to take back a tree that was defective and we couldn't use. I understand stores do have policies, but sometimes there should be exceptions. We have been customers of At Home for a long time and will miss shopping there in the future.

Desired outcome: Reimbursed $79.99

At Home Incorrect product pricing

I purchased several items in The Bronx store and all of the items I purchased had a sticker price on them. Much to my surprise the price is different at the register. Why? I was told that the price is on the tag, meanwhile 85% of the items in the store do not have tags they have a sticker price. The item I wanted had a price of 39.99 but the register said it was 44.99, then another item had a price of 29.99 but the register had a price of 34.99. What kind of shady practices are these? Is At Home trying to swindle the consumer in today's economy. I am only mentioning two items but just imagine all those people that just walk out without checking their receipts? How much money has this company stolen from unsuspecting shoppers? Tik Tok, OMW! Hello, FB!

Desired outcome: THE PRICE ON THE ITEMS SHOULD BE HONORED. CONSUMERS ARE THERE TO SHOP, NOT CONDUCT INVENTORY ON MISPRICES ITMES.

At Home Return pricing

In mid November I purchased a 10' inflatable snowman head for our yard. However, then came the giant winter storm. It was destroyed. I tried to order a new one online but it wouldn't let me add to cart. Then I saw there were several at a store approx. 45 minutes away. I called the store and asked them to hold one. (I offered to pay for it so there would be no problem with me picking it up). The next day, I was at the Fenton, MO store before they opened. When I asked about picking it up, they said they didn't have one. That was very upsetting for me after driving so far to pick it up. Instead they offered me a 20' inflatable snowman which I purchased for $100 on 12/26. I asked if it was too large (after speaking with my spouse) if it could be returned and was told "yes". There was no mention that I would not get my full purchase price back if it was marked down further. Then I got sick and was unable to return it until today. Went to the store and they offered to refund me $49.99 (because now it's 75% off). I will be more than happy to provide receipt copies if you should want to see them. Had I been aware of that on 12/26 I would NOT have purchased the snowman. To top it all off, my sister then found a snowman head inflatable at the Fenton store on 12/27. I believe it is RIDICULOUS to not refund people the amount they paid for something as long as they have a receipt. I purchase quite a few things from the O'Fallon MO store and am a rewards member. I am MORE THAN DISAPPOINTED with this and will have to think twice before purchasing from your company again. It feels as if you're "stealing" your customers cash by not refunding at purchase price. I felt very sorry for your manager in O'Fallon as there were MANY people in there complaining about this ridiculous refund policy. I'm sure it was the case in the other stores as well.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a full $100 refund (I will gladly return the snowman) and a change to your policy. We all know that what you don't sell now, you'll either write off or sell next year.

At Home Christmas storage

I went to At Home the day AFTER Christmas (Monday, Dec 26th) to take advantage of the 50% sale for All Christmas items. I purchased 2 Christmas trees and 1 Christmas tree storage. After checking out, I noticed the tree storage wasn’t half off. Which the rep stated the storage wasn’t included in the sale. 2 days later I went back to return the items for a bigger tree and was only refunded 50% of the price I paid for the tree storage (with receipt) The manager stated any Christmas items returned after the 25th will be refunded for the current price (which he did say he did not agree with). I do not understand how your company can take half of what I paid for an item AFTER Christmas that wasn’t previously on sale but 2 days later it’s now on sale.(with my receipt).

Desired outcome: Please refund difference

At Home 2 rugs

I bought them one at 3999 and the other 1999 when i rolled them out the home store sticker said one was 1499 and the other is 2999 why am I being charged more than the sticker said that's fraud. I was at the Merryville IN store at 130 today I went back and the manager was rude even the cashier explained it was wrong he said i must contact you folks.

At Home Poor online pickup experience

I placed an online pick up order on 9/20/21 which was supposed to be ready the same day if placed before 5:00 pm. I placed the order before 5:00 pm and never received an email confirmation for the order.

I checked the order status 4 hours later and the system d, id not show any orders, however, the charge was pending on my credit card.

The next day, I still had not received an email confirmation so checked the order status online again. The order shows with a progress bar. It is difficult to tell by the progress bar if the items are ready for pickup or they are still working on it. It shows, in print, Ready for pickup above the progress bar. It also shows Pick up by Sat, Sep 24.

My complaint is that I never received an email confirmation for the order, it took hours for my order to show up, and it wasn't ready by 5:00 as stated on the website. I declined text messages and expect an email to acknowledge that my order was received. Not very good service thus far.

Desired outcome: Don't tell people their order will be ready for pickup by 5:00. Make sure that everyone gets an email confirmation immediately when the order is placed.

At Home Service experienced by the manager

We found a rug in the store that had a price of 54.99, took it to the register and the person checking us out was also the manager, Gabe. We got our total and questioned why it was so much and the rug came up as a much larger price than the one listed. When mentioning that was false advertising, he blamed another customer for putting the sticker on it. I questioned whether he knew which price was for the rug in the bag because the rug was gray and the 54.99 sticker matched the rig in the bag. call needless to say, he was just giving me a hard time, and at the manager of the store I was appalled by the lack of customer service and messup, in my eyes, on their part for the incorrect pricing. There was a more appropriate and professional way to handle the situation especially from the store manager. It’s fine, we will just take our money elsewhere.

Desired outcome: Honoring the price on the rug at 54.99 or an extra discount on the original price due to the stores incorrect pricing.

At Home Store associate and manager

I was shopping in the AT HOME Store located at 120 Mall Blvd, Monroeville, PA 15146 on August 22, 2022. I found two identical items that appear to be marked. The item was Ty Pennington Set of 3 White Candles with Rope Base, upc [protected]. The price was blacked out with a black marker on the front and partially on the back on one item. The first digit was marked out and the rest of price showing was $9.99. I asked the cashier Donna, what the price of the items were since the price appeared to be marked down. She said that she would charge me $19.99 for one item and the full price of the other, whose price was completely marked out. I told her that she is not going to charge me two different prices for the same item. I believed that she added a one to the price away making the price $19.99 instead of $9.99 anyway. Basically she told me to take it or leave and I said no, I need to see the manager to which her reply was I am the manager. I told her that I was going to report the incident to her corporate office but I was still after my Veterans discount for my other items. Then Donna found the “store” manager, Jason who agreed to sell me both items for $19.99. I refused to buy the items stating that I believe that the price was made up. I refuse to store in any store that assumes that I am ignorant because of the color of my skin and then is only given any consideration after mentioning that I am an Army Vet. Disgusting!

Desired outcome: Donna should be terminated and so should Jason. I should be compensated fairly for their disgusting behavior.

At Home Not honoring prices that's still posted on merchandise

I went in at 835pm to the Norcross, Ga location. Tags was still on the Baton Rouge chair on display. I took two pictures, one of the chair and the price tag. There was no inverntory below the display model. I went to the front and asked if there was more inventory of this chair, the associate said that what was on display was pretty much what they had. I asked if this was the display model and could I purchase it. She said it was but I could purchase it. She was talking on a walkie talkie to a gentleman. Another associate said let me, I said I really want to get two. That when she looked over to the front display and said I think that's it. I went over and it was 4 boxes. Another associate help me to load them on a cart, but when she rang them up the price was $249.99. I showed her the picture of the display a d the sale tag $174.99. She called a gentleman on the walkie talkie, who said they couldn't honor that price. Which I replied, that's what's on display and I should be able to purchase them at that price. He said no. I asked for the District Mgr nuimber.

he told her to give me Melissia number, who was the store mgr. I am a customer service mgr for over 30 years. The sale tag was still on the item, I should have been able to purchase the two chairs at that price. I am a loyal customer and had no way of knowing that the tag should have been removed.

The customer should not be punished for the error of the store. Please call or email me back with an answer as to how to proceed and getting my purchase at the price that was on the merchandise

Desired outcome: I still want to purchase the 2 chairs at the price that was on them.

At Home Customer service

I was shopping in the Kennesaw store located at 2875 George Busbee Pkwy NW, Kennesaw Georgia. While shopping I walked around the store because I needed help with a mirror that showed was available at this location , however I could not find it on my own. As I walked around the store looking for someone to help me I finally find 3 workers sitting, laughing, talking and having a great time, I told them I had been looking for someone to help me and the guy who was sitting said its early and no many worker are there yet. This man nor the two women moved he got on his walkie talkie and called for someone to help me. Where this guy was I have no idea. I took a picture of the 3 employees sitting on their butts not doing a thing. I teach a customer service class to over 500 employeees and I will use this photo and example as one of my scenarios, this was the worst customer service I had seen and the mirror that I wanted online said it was available however the guy who tried to help me said sorry we don't have the mirror. This left such a bad taste in my mouth, I will not visit another At Home again and I will make sure I share this with everyone of my friends!

Desired outcome: I want you to hire employees that work, and value customer service and whoever the manager is needs to be fired.

At Home Wall mirror

I purchased a wall mirror for my hallway a few months ago. Last night (7/31/22) I heard a loud crash and the mirror had fallen off of the wall. The frame around it had crumbled and the hanging wire had pulled out of the frame which was made of some kind of plaster. Luckily there was no one near it when it fell or someone could have been hurt. If my grandchildren had been there it could have hurt them terribly. Broken glass everywhere, not to mention the table it crashed on and damaged before it hit the floor. I could not find my receipt although I was told it didn’t matter because it had been over 60 days and I would not get my money back or a store credit under any circumstances. It still has the $49 price tag on the back of it. I will never shop there again since they obviously sell inferior merchandise.
