At Home Area rug

I lived in Bentonville for 15yrs work for Walmart home office for 7yrs and still do I'm a black American women not ever have I ever felt racism toward me or my family until Jan 23 2021 in you store in Rogers Ar. Bought a area rug Friday of the week pass my husband decide it was to small for the area so we went back on the date above he decide on a larger rug which cost 99$ plus taxes we bought it with several other items. I ask the cashier about returning the smaller rug and told her I no longer had the receipt because I had no intention of returning. I was told I could return it with out the receipt could look it up with my credit card which I have several upon returning it we ran 2 of my cards and it wasn't either of them so she didn't get her name but she said she was the manger so after 2 cards tried the other cashier ask would I take it on a store credit which was not a problem your store manger informed her the store no longer give store credit your manger ask me if I had someone that I could give it to because there was nothing she could do. I tried to tell her I had other cards I might have purchased it with she blew me off as if I was a spoiled child so I was dismissed. I felt that if I was white it would have went totally different. I only paid 15$ plus taxes for the rug it was never about the money I just didn't have use for it was willing to even take store credit even doe I had other cards if only given the chance to give them to her. I only been in your store twice was hope to do a lot of business with this store. You will loose a lot of business under the manger you have in place there. Sincerely Mrs. Jacqueline Brown

On 11/16/20, I entered the At Home location in Springdale, OH. I spent approx. 40 minutes shopping, walking past employees who said nothing about a mask. At Home Single bed

At Home Customer service

At home desperately needs transparency... When placing an order for local delivery I was told that local delivery uses a third party company, so delivery questions should go to them. I was not told that if the delivery company does not pick up my order within 5 days, it would be cancelled. I placed an order, the delivery company gave me the date they would delivered... And 1-2 days before the delivery date, my order was cancelled. There needs to be a better system.

Related... The customer service that i've seen so far has been abysmal. I emailed customer service because I was confused as to why my order was cancelled... Veronica carrera with customer service emailed back to simply say "we show the order was canceled due to no pick up." which confused me even more because it was not a pickup order. I still didn't know why my order was cancelled until the gaithersburg store called me on my delivery day to tell me that orders are cancelled if they're not picked up in 5 days... Even if the delivery company has confirmed a date with me.

I get that local delivery is a new thing for them... Which is why it's so important to be transparent! I knew to contact the delivery company with any delivery issues... But I did not know that there was a delivery issue because I did not know that orders are cancelled in 5 days. And since there is no way to call customer service, I had to wait to receive an email... Which was very short and unhelpful and provided no valuable information.

Also worth noting that the woman I spoke to at the gaithersburg store on 9/16/20 was very surly and aggressive. I was confused and trying to understand and she was raising her voice, cutting me off, and making sarcastic comments. Just because I was trying to understand what I had to do to receive an order.

So at home could improve by being more transparent about its delivery model and by investing in adequate customer support.

At Home Mildew on brand new bathroom rugs hampton va location

On saturday 7/25 I finally found what I thought was the perfect bathroom rugs set. It was the 2 piece cobblestone grey bathroom rugs. I brought them home, excitedly popped the tags and was prepared to put the rugs down in my bathroom floor when I noticed discoloration which was mold and mildew! I was so disgusted and upset but was simply going to exchange but for another the following day. When I made it back to at home I found that all of the other mats too had mildew underneath. I'm not sure how that could happen? If it it was a bad batch. But I was very disappointed! I cannot find anything similar that matches my bathroom. At home should have a better inspection process prior to these items hitting the store!

On Saturday, March 7th, at approximatley 5:30 P.M. my wife chose some items at this At Home store. She took them to the register and paid for them. It was a rug, some tables and another item or two. The cashier asked her if she was interested in help loading them into the car. My wife said, "Sure!". She waited for several minutes and no one came. Finally...

We purchased the thermometer on November 29th, 2019, when we were visiting my wife's son and daughter in law for Thanksgiving. When we got home I was going to hang the thermometer on our screened in porch. When I started to hang the thermometer the hanging part of it just fell apart. It fell into a bunch of pieces. The hanging part must have been defective because it was very brittle.

I shop at your store often but today I tried to use your online coupon the coupon wouldn't scan so I was passed off to customer service which got me no where your employees have no clue as to what is going on I am highly disappointed and will not be back if you're going to have coupons then they should be made aware of by all employees and make sure your employees know how to do their job

At Home a return

Hi
I returned two lampshades tonight at The Wayne NJ location in the amount of $31.97.
Instead of crediting my account, the cashier rang it as a purchase which I did not discover until I got home. Each lampshade was 14.99. It was between 9:00-9:30 pm. I would like to rectify this situation as soon as possible. I am owed 63.94 because I have paid twice now for lampshades I returned.

At Home purchase at store

I went to the store in Fenton Missouri 5/28/2019 at 7pm. . I did not like the service at all. I was looking for lounge chairs for my pool area. I had seen them online. I was told to get a long push cart and I was never offered help. I was running the cart into the racks cause it was hard to stear. I walked thru the entire store before I found an employee and asked for help because the ones I wanted were stacked under a bunch of other chairs. 2 girls and I think one was a manager came over but had this look like I was bothering them. A couple of the 90.00 chairs had scratches on them so I asked for others. Again I felt like I was bothering them. So I proceed to check out. I signed up for your texts and had a coupon for 10% off but thought I accidently deleted it. I asked if I could possibly get a manager . She said they wouldnt do anything and left it at that. I left my credit card at home and wanted to use it. I was told they couldnt look it up with my license . I have went to many places and they always looked up my card info and I was able to use it. And you think I would be offered help getting my chairs to my car. Not a chance! Horrible customer service. After what I went thru I feel like I deserve a discount. At Home I am complaining about a manager, fred thomas in memphis, tn. the winchester location.

My complaint is regarding the rude and disrespectful treatment that I received while in your store on Friday. March 23rd at approximately 3:30pm.

I went into your store to exchange 4 pillows that I purchased on March 22 using my debit card. I made my selection and proceeded to the register to make the exchange. Fred Thomas, your Manager asked for my drivers license because I didn't have the receipt. I handed over my license and he issued me a gift card.

I asked Fred Thomas why the gift card instead of the refund going back to my debit card? He told me there were multiple ways to receive a refund and that he had already did the refund on the gift card and that was final and could not be cancelled.

When I pressed him on why he didn't allow me to offer my debit card for the refund, he told me that I was belligerent. He told me to get out of the store or he would call the Police on me. Full disclosure, I called him an [censor] as I was leaving the store. I am embarrassed and I do plan to go back to apologize for the name calling. Needless to say, I left the store without my purchase.

I moved into my home 3 years ago and have filled my home with tons of At Home decor, including shopping in your store for each and every holiday.

In the past, I have made tons of exchanges and returns using my debit card and have never had a problem.

I would like to return the gift and have a refund to my debit card ASAP. I would also like to know that Fred Thomas will be warned for treating a customer in this manner.

At Home safety

This store is a mess to say the least. I went in to buy pillows, but I could not walk down the isle. There were pillows all over the floor. Over the kitchen and bathroom areas I found items on the floor as well, presenting a real hazard to the costumer. Not enough employees available and one cash register. I won't be coming back there again. It's a shame!

Very rude workers. I spent over 1100.00 last weekend and over 300.00 last night. My daughter was so shocked at how we were talked to she almost left. We live over an hour away and this is my favorite store but Scott and Lydia were very ugly to us. Cortez was awesome and heard them. He is the manager but said Scott is over him senority. Something should be done about this. A couple workers were rude to me last weekend. I had a problem with an item and I tried to call the location. I do not like that I am unable to contact the store. This is sad that when I asked they said not enough employees to answer the phone. Need to have some mystery shoppers in that store or have the BOSS to go undercover before this place loses so much business they have to close the doors.

At Home dresses

I bought two summer dresses at Garden Ridge. I took them home and washed them to wear. The dresses started falling apart. I returned to the store and I tried to return them. I was told that I could not return them because they had no return policy for clothes that falls apart. I asked for a manager and I was told the same thing. I asked for the area manager or adress of the company and I was given this website. I can't even talk to someone from Garden Ridge. This is not good business ethic. They have just lost another customer.

Dear Sir,

Early this year we bought few ROSE ROOTS from Home Store Blanchardstown branch, some of them didn’t grow but the others did. Unfortunately the ones that are grown are all of the same colour (like orange) whereas at the time of buying they were all shown of different colours which is disappointing for us.

At Home terrible management/employees

I was in this store for over 5 hours trying to match and size scrubs for my job. its hard enough finding my XS size as it is, but with the piss poor lack or organization and order, i had to basically go through every top and bottom to find the ones that would fit. as I proceeded to the check out hours later I spotted a RED LINE clearance on THOUSANDS of scrubs right by the check out. 2 dollars compared to 6.99 for each top and bottom was much more appealing. So i took a big breath and dug...and dug... --- FINDING the exact same tops/bottoms that were in the back, except these had red lines on the tags and the ones found at the regular spot in the back did not and were reg priced. Since they were the EXACT SAME size, style etc...i figured theyd just discount me at the register...NOT A CHANCE. NO RED LINE< NO SALE...they said the shirts were from different seasons-- RIGHT. and the I WAS ACCUSED to drawing my own red line on a shirt that was IN THE PILE, WITH A RED LINE, but didnt ring up on sale...the worst manager, employees, and the rudest staff i have ever experienced in my life. SO DISAPOINTED--- and i spent a LOT of money there that day...never again. worst group of useless workers ive ever met.

As you dug through the scrubs looking for your size, did you neatly stack the ones that did not meet your needs? I didn't think so. Why do you think they were such a mess when you started? It's because people just like you dig through them and do not put them back nicely. As for you assuming that since the reg. priced ones were the same as the red-lined ones, well you know what happens when you assume.

At Home missing parts of christmas tree

I purchased a Christmas tree at the end of last season at half price. I asked the sales person who helped me with it if he was sure all the parts where there, it looked like the box had been opened and he assured me it was complete. When I opened it up this weekend it was missing the bottom part of the tree and the tree would not light up. I went to the store to talk with the manager and I was told the only thing I could do was to submit this complaint. The orginal price of the tree was $149.99, I paid $68.00. I am requesting a refund.

I went to your store for the first time on Sat.the 24th of March. I went to gets some rope lights... 1. No employee's to be found on the floor anywhere to help. 2. Went to look at the metal art work it was a hazard, if you moved one the whole pile would fall, it really was a disaster! The worst I've ever seen...I did not take pictures but I will go back to...

I bought a table and chairs from Garden Ridge in Feb/2012. I have owned it for a month and the chairs are already falling apart. I tried to call the store but nobody ever answers. At Home false sales and poor service

Yesterday my wife and I drove out the the GR store in Douglasville GA. We received an email about a 50% off sale on products which has a red line drawn through the bar codes. We walked through the store for over two hours. We statrt noticing that the same items some hard the red lines and others did not. As the register some of the items we picked that had the red lines failed to reing up on sale. The cashier said that people come in and draw red lines on products themselves thinking that they will get the discounted price. One of the items we did not want due to not ringing up on sale the manager had to be called to do a void. She arrived with an attitude especially when we asked how wa a customer to know what was on sale and not until they arrived to check out. She was very rude...said that she could not sale the items at the discount even if they had the red line. We did not ask for that...we just complained that there needs to be a better way to control this sale. She told me she could not say anything else. I told her that there was nothing else to say at which point she basically told me to quit complaining my self. I asked for her name as I was contacting the corporate office and she replied it was none of my business at which point my wife, standing and seeing the managers id, said her name was Linda.

We finished ringing up the items that were on sale and went to pay. My wofe pulled out the checkbook at which pint we were told the store does not take checks? We were put back with that as we had written checks before at other Garden Ridges. Is this a corporate policy to not take checks? We paid cash and left...but being so rudely treated we went right back into the store an received a refund on the items. We will never go back to the store in Douglasville GA.

At Home return

My husband and I bought a dining room table on 1/6/12. When we got it home, it was scratched badly on the table. My husband took it back with the receipt. They would not do an even exchange. They said he needed my debit card which he did not have. They agreed to put the credit on his debit card. He tried to buy another table and asked if he could open the box and check it first. The manager said no because he did not bring his own tape and told him they would not load it on his truck. He asked if he could buy the floor model and the manager said "nope." Worst customer service we have ever encountered. Will call Monday to Clark Howard to seek his advice and find the CEO's phone number, which by the way, is not available on any website.
