Refund not received
I registered for the bid with amount R2, 500. I won a few bids and received my invoice which I paid in full. (Please note: the invoice did not deduct registration fee.) So I asked for the refund from one [protected]@aucor.com who sent me to [protected]@aucor.com. I sent my banking details to [protected]@aucor.com. Days later I called to ask how far my payment was. I was told they will work on it. After a few days I again called, I was told they are working on it. To this day, 8th August, 2021 I still haven't received my refund. My emails are being ignored also.
Desired outcome: Get my money back
motor vehicle
I purchased a vehicle on the bank repossesed and fleet auction and there was no mention that the vehicle was previously involved in a major accident. After purchasing this vehicle I took it to Toyota where I told the vehicle was badly damaged and needed a new chassis. I am considering legal action on this issue as this vehicle is a code 2 or worse and was sold as a Bank Repo and fleet auction. The service history on the vehicle shows it was serviced recently which to me means aucor was aware of the defects on this vehicle but consciously did not disclose.
Under police auction
This company is operating under the 'police auction' banner, selling goods seized in raids. They offer "fine art", expensive jewellery - gemstones, rolexs etc and decorative items like bronze statues, silk rugs, vases etc.
PLEASE, PLEASE BEWARE!
These items carry fake certificates of authenticity which according to outside appraisers are not worth the paper they're printed on.
The art work, listed as hand signed pieces from famous artists - Dali, Picasso, Max, Icart, Chagall etc are fake, authenticated by "art dealers" and are literally worth no more than a simple poster print. Fine if you like it - but don't pay more than it's worth which in many cases is $20-$50 and the minimum starting bid is $1000 or more!
The jewellery is "junky", appraised by a company no reputable jeweller has ever heard of and listed as worth mega bucks when really it's cheap, nasty, scrappy pieces that look shiny and expensive. No time for inspection, fast auctions and a smooth talking autioneer see that these worthless items are sold.
The people who run these auctions can't be contacted and move from town to town.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Completely disagree. I have done my own research on pieces purchased after attending several of their auctions in the Florida area. I even brought a friend of mine who is a trained Gemologist to assist me to make knowledgeable purchases. He assisted me in making successful bids on some diamond jewelry and Tanzanite pieces that were far cheaper in price than the ones I saw while on a cruise through the Caribbean. I have decorated my home in Naples and New York with artwork purchased from them as well. Of the original artwork I have purchased, I had them evaluated by gallieries in my area and they were all confirmed to be authentic. I purchased some original Pissarro's as well that I had confirmed by the Pissarro family in London as being authentic and really did well on according to post-auction appraisals. It is true that you should be careful at auctions and not get carried away but I am quite happy with this company and will go back.
What the gentlemen stated above is correct, they sold me a Ladies Rolex
that is fake in every way shape and form. The Apprisal is not worth the paper is is written on. If you see them in your town tell everyone about them and that they sould not go.
