My refund
I am complaining about my refund status which took more than 6 weeks until today have not get my refund. An email has been send out since 2 months ago, but the manager name LIM SOO AUN in JB Tebrau Malaysia Branch has no replied my email and when silent. No follow-up at all. I wonder why took so long for the bank to credit back to my account. is that the person's problem or is the company to blame? Such a big organization this just a small matter that can't be done in a proper manner? I am requesting your urgent attention to resolve my issue. I really feel frustrated that no way is taken up this seriously. I will be flying off and not available from 20th April to 27 April 2023. Please do call me and I am expected the higher authority to look into this urgently!

Dear BMW Customer Service Auto Bavaria Ara Damansara,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I have received from the Auto Bavaria Service Centre (Ara Damansara). My car, a BMW X5 with registration no QRQ 484, is still under warranty and less than a year old, but has already encountered a battery problem and requires a new battery. I sent my car to the service center on 21/03/23 and since then, the service has been subpar at best.
I sent my car to the Auto Bavaria (Ara Damansara) Service Centre on 21/03/23 and have repeatedly emphasized the urgency of the situation, as I need my car to be ready before Monday (17/04/23), even extending it to Tuesday (18/04/23), for an urgent event in Kedah and for the Raya Break. I have informed the person in charge (PIC) to keep updating me on the delivery as I need to plan ahead.
The PIC assured me that my car would be ready for Raya and even last week (3-7/4/23), committed to having the car ready soon. I was pleased when he said last week that they would start putting a new battery in my car on Tuesday (11/04/23). However, when the date arrived, he did not respond until Thursday [protected]), and informed me that his team had replaced the high voltage battery cell module no.2 and was running some tests.
To my dismay, he updated me again on Friday [protected]) that there was a new fault, this time not related to battery, found during the final test drive after replacing the battery cell module. I was very upset and demanded an answer as I need my car for work in Penang next Tuesday and for Raya. I also requested a replacement car, at least similar in size to my car, but as of yet, there has been no response from the PIC.
I understand that my BMW X5 battery is an unprecedented and uncommon case. However, I am not blaming the service centre for the car's faulty battery within the first year of purchase. I am angry at Auto Bavaria for not treating me fairly and for not considering my sensitivity. The lack of communication and urgency is unacceptable, especially since I have stressed the importance of having my car ready before Raya.
I am disappointed that Auto Bavaria did not inform me earlier, as no flight ticket to my hometown or very expensive, and now I cannot celebrate Raya with my family. It is insensitive and unfair to treat me this way, as if I am not a valued customer.
It's already Monday, 17/04/23, and I requested the PIC to respond by 11 am today so that I can make plans for my travels accordingly. However, it's already 12 pm, and I haven't received any reply yet. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of urgency and care that has been given to my situation. I feel as though I have been turned down and not given any priority or importance. It's disheartening to see that the PIC does not care about my sensitivity or value me as a valuable customer.
I urgently request a clear date when my car will be ready, regardless of whether it is one day or two days before Raya. I need a commitment from BMW that my car will be ready in time, and I need to be informed of any updates or changes. My contact information is as follows: H/P no. Not doing the job that had to be done when car was still in the warranty last week
my 740 the five years old, still into the last month under warranty June 2022 the rear left air suspension spur broke and they replaced it for free. I took the car used it for 1300 kilometers then the front left suspension broke and the car was sagging they replaced it and I paid 9500 aed, I took the car and I drove it for 1000 Km again the car was sagging they said this time it is the front right suspension spur according to them when one is leaking this affects the others. I agreed to replace it and to pay though the 4 should have been replaced along with the first one in June under warranty.
Fine, after the 3rd suspension now they claim that the mean reason is leak from air compressor that also has to be changed. Here I said no enough is enough.
Imagine now the the car in the past two months has been with me for two weeks and 6 weeks in the workshop and what makes it more painful is that the new X5 was there too because of no spare parts available who would buy BMW brand new and waits for spare parts for 5 weeks.
Regarding the 740 I believe that missing all these problems during the last week of the warranty was either out of negligence from the side of the Enginer or out of wasting time till the warranty expires both possibilities are not good for the BMW image.
The other problem is that I am very attached to the brand and hate to think of moving to another one like mercedes or porsche or even Audi.
So I kindly request to cover all the expenses since the change of the first pneumatic suspension when it was under warranty, I also request to change the last old pneumatic suspension the rear right in order not to go back to the same drama after 1000 km.
Regarding the brand new car X5, should anything else happens in the next coming months I think I should be entitled for replacement with a new functioning one.
All what I mentioned is in the email sent to me from the workshop with the dates that I am forwarding.

Dear Dr. Hani,
The vehicle was received with the complaint of “Car leaning down”.
Upon diagnosis it was identified that the front right air spring in the vehicle has excessive leak and would need to be replaced as part of initial repairs to continue with further diagnosis.
Following the replacement of the air spring, the vehicle was kept under observation – during the observation schedule we were additionally able to identify minor leaks from the valve body of the compressor unit causing marginal leaning of the vehicle suspension, considering the age and mileage of the vehicle – it is advised to have the air supply unit replaced to prevent further inconvenience.
Please be informed that, considering the nature of the defect, vehicle age and mileage, a very special discount will be applied to the repair as below:
Front right air spring replacement cost was AED 11457.60, after discount it became 8000 AED.
Air Supply unit replacement cost was 11476 AED, after discount it became 7025 AED.

Desired outcome: To refund the 9500 aed that I paid for the front left suspension and to cover the replacement of the front right and rear left and air compressor as they all should have been replaced along with the left rear under warranty in june.

No responsiveness, long lead time for delivery & fixing the exhaust bracket
On 18 Jan 2016 l've paid deposit RM 205 out of RM 497.40 to Autobavari for replacement of front exhaust mounting parts. The account # C0000002 & service estimate # 9804 for car # WUG 9023. Auto Bavaria mentioned the parts need to order from overseas. However, the representative from Auto Bavaria since then never call me to advise the parts delivery status until i have to call Auto Bavaria few times to confirm on this matter. Morever the noise level from the undercarriage when the gear is engaged is getting louder & irritating. Despite my few reminders to Auto Bavaria on this matter, the Auto Bavaria never call me to fixed the appointment until again i make an attempt to call them on 17 Jan 2016.
Hence the sales rep. has given me the date on 23 Feb to fixed this problem.
Today ( 18 Feb) i called again Auto Bavaria to highlight the noise level is so loud & i requested this issue to be settled ASAP either by today or Saturday. However, as usual i didn't receive any feedback yet. This is bad customer service & response to customers urgency.
Pls reply :-
1)Why it's taking 1 month to deliver the parts from Germany ( since 18 Jan ) to KL to fixed this problem.
2)Why didn't give priority to fixed the problem despite the louder noise from the car that l'm experiencing now.
3) Why the person incharge from Auto Bavaria didn't make any attempt to call me to follow up the conditions of the car during this waiting time (1 month) & keep quite until l've to call them few times asking the status of parts.
4)l suspected the supporting parts of the exhaust car is crack/broken coz of long time delivery period & to fix the problem. During this period, l've travelled long distance. Therefore, i wanted Auto Bavaria to return back my full payment made on 18 Jan 2016 & provide the service without charges. l feel irritated whenever start the car engine coz of the noise level is increasing. The public just watching at me coz of this noise & this has downgraded the perception of BMW car.
5)Any consequences issues related to this matter should be given free of charge in future .

Intolerable service and incompetence
Had a problem with my 320d since early km's which was causing a very noticeable noise being emitted from the engine bay. Had BMW Midrand check it out. The vehicle has been back MANY times to get this resolved, with delays in getting parts resulting in delays in getting a date to get these fitted etc. etc. The short of the long, I have probably made about 8 trips to and from this dealership to get this resolved AND IT IS STILL DOING IT! Worst of it all, I have called to speak the the SERVICE MANAGER, Rudi Pretorius, on two seperate occasions. He is never available, and if a message is left I have a SERVICE CONSULTANT calling me. Sir, by the time I wish to speak to management, it means I have passed the point of speaking to your staff and wish to speak to MANAGEMENT! I was supposed to get a call to meet with a specialist of BMW SA and am still WAITING!
My car is STILL making the same noise. The problem is NOT being resolved. You have been kind enough to arrange load vehicles for me with a huge insurance excess hanging over my head while in my use but this hardly makes up for the FRUSTRATION experienced!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! Call me and GET IT RIGHT!
