Auto Parts Warehouse scam using WC Value Plus

After using Auto Parts Warehouse website my debit card is being charged $21.95 for WC Value Plus. After talking to Auto Parts Warehouse, they admit WC Value Plus is a business partner of theirs. I did not sign up for anything, but, I remember clicking on a pop-up after checkout on their "secure website." Apparently, clicking on the pop-up must have authorized them to scam me. I've read numerous, similiar complaints and it seems the best course of action is to report to my bank who should be able to get a refund for me (according to other complaints), get a new debit card and be more careful buying online.

Auto Parts Warehouse misleading website; liars!

Auto Parts Warehouse is a big scam! They show parts as being in stock on their website and will even generate a tracking number to make you believe you've bought the part...then, several days later, they called me to tell me the part had not shipped at all- that the website inventory "was not up to date" and that the tracking number "was simply a mistake". In other words, they're system makes people believe they have hard to find parts so that they get the sale, hold your money and, if they cant get the part, it's like "oh well, sucks to be you..." Do NOT do business with them!

Auto Parts Warehouse SHODDY OPERATION DON'T BUY THERE

Phoned FRIDAY NITE:
Ordered OVERPRICED DOOR MIRROR. Needed for an inspection. Explained I had to HAVE the part NO LATER THAN TUESDAY. Tuesday had made arrangement for a local man to put the mirror on AND I was paying HIM to come and do that.

ASSURED PART WOULD BE SHIPPED OUT EARLY MONDAY FROM SOMEPLACE IN VIRGINIA AND DELIVERED ON TUESDAY.
TOLD I"D GET A TRACKING NUMBER-- NO PROBLEM. SO I WENT AHEAD AND ORDERED THE THING FOR OVER A HUNDRED DOLLARS.

No tracking number showed up, just an order number. Tuesday morning called to request the tracking number, since website related "We are still processing your order" I was told "Oh you'll get that part today. We don't provide tracking numbers for FAST deliveries." HUH? THEN WHY DID YOUR SALESPERSON SAY YA DID?

TUESDAY COMES AND GOES, I CALLED OUT THE MONEY I PAID THE PERSON TO BE HERE THAT DAY! SINCE HE STILL EXPECTED TO GET PAID SOMETHING FOR SHOWING UP. MEANWHILE THEY ASSURE ME THEY WILL CREDIT MY CARD.

WEDNESDAY GET HOME AND THERE IS THAT *)@#*%)*)^ MIRROR ON MY PORCH!
Called them and said I DON"T WANT YOUR LATE, OVERPRICED MIRROR TODAY. IT WAS NEEDED YESTERDAY, TODAY I'VE MADE ANOTHER PURCHASE SINCE I HAD CANCELED THE ORDER.
Oh we can't refund YOUR money TIL WE GET OUR PART BACK AND IT WILL TAKE AWHILE TO GET THE LABEL AND BLAH BLAH BLAH

Do NOT use this company, they will tell you ANYTHING to get your credit card number, OVERCHARGE for what your getting (FINE IF IT GETS TO YOU IN A HURRY NOT FINE WHEN IT DOESN'T ARRIVE ON TIME) And then dick you around and NOT give you back your money without a BIG HASSLE! BUYER BEWARE!

Auto Parts Warehouse fraud charge on credit card

My son used my credit card to purchase auto parts online about a year ago. This company used my card to make a charge on the same credit card at the end of Aug, 2009. My credit card company caught it and canceled the card, and issued me a new one. However, I still had to fill out forms to get the charge off my Master Card. The charge amount was $122.14.

Someone charged my card also on September 12, 2009 for $353.54. I have never purchased anything from this company ever. My credit card company is removing it from my bill and investigating it.

Auto Parts Warehouse Worst customer service/website ever

Beware of these guys!

They have several websites: autopartswarehouse.com/car-stuff.com and some others...that should begin to tell you how bad they are. They have to hide behind different names to lure in their prey.

Go ahead and order from these charletans, scam artists, and thieves! I ordered a simple bug guard for a toyota sequoia...and they sent me a wind deflector for the passenger side window instead. Hmmmm. So I call them up and after a 4 hour conversation, they finally conceded that they "may" have shipped the wrong part in error. OK. So send me the correct part..."um, no we don't have that part(which we list on our site) to send to you." "Please send us back the wrong part and we will credit you." Which I did and now, wait for it, they claim that the bug guard never arrived at their warehouse, but a wind deflector has! Therefore, "we will not credit you since you returned the incorrect part!" What the $&*^? GREAT SCAM!

I am now 7 hours into the endless explaining to them what has happened. My belief is that they are trying to wear me down--but I refuse!

It has been two months, they still have my money, I don't have their part and there is still a dispute over what happened!

BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Twice in a row they said a part was in and that they would sell it for a particular amount and both times waited two weeks to credit my account and tell me that it was not in stock. They would not forward me to anybody that would listen to my complaint.

Auto Parts Warehouse Poor customer service

After receiving the wrong parts for my 1999 Blazer. I requested through its "hasslefree" return service a return authorization. I waited a week, no response. I sent a second request and waited another week; still no response. I then sent a third request and waited. Nothing. Finally, I sent an e-mail directly to customer service and after about a week I received a reply asking for my VIN and the part numbers appearing on the part boxes and the invoice. I forwarded the requested information the same day, more than two weeks ago, but I have heard nothing further. Because of its horrible customer service, I will not order from APW again.

Auto Parts Warehouse Twice paid for and shipped wrong part, returned both at my expense, refunded for one part only

In November of 2006 I placed an order for one adjustable AGX front strut, p/n 734006, on the autopartswarehouse.com website. As soon as I ordered the 734006 on their web page, I was charged 121.95 which is the correct price, but the invoice was for a 235065, (the wrong part, albeit for the same car) at the price of 121.95. IF YOU LOOK ON THEIR webpage for the same 235065 you will see it for 83.95 or so. AUTOPARTSWAREHOUSE aka THE PARTS BIN has a SERIOUS database problem. I ordered a 734006 two times (the last order placed by their own CS people by phone after they promised the problem was fixed) and have twice received a 235065, which is the NON-adjustable strut for the same car. I have spent HOURS (excuse my shouting) on the phone with them, they first said it was my fault but then realized after pointing out the above info they admitted they have a database problem. Twice I have been told they had updated their database, twice I have been invoiced (and shipped) for the 235065 but charged the price for the 734006. I am fought with them now for a UPS call tag, with no results. All they would do was issue an R/A where I would have to return the struts at my expense. I feel they should have to pay return shipping. I had two struts I did not order and am out 242.00! I finally gave up and returned the struts at my expense (30.00). I was credited for only ONE returned part. I have disputed the second 121.95 plus 30.00 shipping with my credit card. The first dispute was denied, despite me providing tracking numbers! I spent more time, dug up the owners of the company. Seems autopartswarehouse.com and thepartsbin.com was bought out last May 2006 by "US Autoparts Network", they have a gizillion web sites and their call centers are in India or somewhere. I will post the SEC filing here, www.borg1.com/pics/US Auto Parts SEC.pdf. Copy and paste into your browser. A relatively boring read but at least gives a phone number in the States and names of management personnel. The call center in India is helpless to resolve the database problem. Sorry for my rant, I just wanted to get a couple of AGX struts! Greg Kila, Montana

Auto Parts Warehouse Terrible experience

Auto Parts Warehouse - very displeased with their service. I order $120.00 in parts online Wednesday night, overnight shipping was $23 or so... Its now Friday evening and still no parts. I tried tracking the order online but only got a 4 digit number to come up, not knowing what that number means I called... got the Indian call center :( and had a very difficult time communicating. They said there was a problem with the billing address, so I gave it to them again... now I've been told that the part would be shipped out on Monday and hopefully arrive on Tuesday... that's 6 days waiting for an "overnight shipping" order. The least they could have done is called me to get the billing address problem corrected. Very disappointed! I'll never use or recommend anyone order from them... stick with someone that doesn't outsource potential American jobs overseas.

I ordered parts from this company, paid a total of $204 for the parts (window regulators and motors for a 2002 Chevy Cavalier Z24). I received the parts and in installing them, they are the wrong parts.

Because I waited to install them until after the snow had melted in my area, I did not realize they were wrong until over a month later. I called the company and they said since it was 30 days later they could do nothing.

I don't even know what car these parts WILL fit so I can resell them.

Sucks

Auto Parts Warehouse Terrible company

Made it almost impossible to return a part and then refused to cancel the reorder they said would fit that when I checked found out it would not fit. make sure you know exactly what you need before you order. I found the price almost the same at my local auto parts store and did not have to pay to ship it back to calif. when I live on the east coast and they shipped from my home state.

I too had a dreadful experience with US Auto Parts ('USAP'): i ordered a part and paid for it (in retrospect, i should have been suspicious when the price was so much less than elsewhere, even the OEM!?) but when it hadn't arrived about three weeks later i emailed them, repeatedly. None of my emails were answered so i rang them (at 3:00AM my time!) only to be told that they didn't have it in stock. I then (foolishly) agreed not to cancel the order upon condition that they could assure me that the part was dispatched within 48 hours. And that apparently happened.

However, the second chapter of the fiasco began a couple of days later: UPS sent me a message confirming that the goods had been delivered to USAP's shipping 'partner' Bongo International but when i tried to contact Bongo a week or so later, they, like USAP, refused to answer my numerous emails. Days later, Bongo eventually replied by informing me that they knew nothing of the delivery. Multiple emails were then exchanged until they alleged that USAP had sent them something but it was an entirely different item from that which i had ordered.

It was only after i filed a complaint with the Better Business Council that, surprise surprise, Bongo located the goods (the one i had in fact ordered and at the depot which UPS had notified about me and which i in turn had informed Bongo) and that it'd be dispatched promptly. However, following delivery of the goods to me i went to my online bank account to discover that Bongo has charged me over $90 for the privilege of dispatching something (a door switch) that weighed barely 8 ounces and about the size of a pencil case!

I again submitted a complaint to the BBC and, again, Bongo emailed me to apologise for their abominable service and offered me a much reduced delivery charge (by way of a partial refund).

Had i any idea these two firms were so deceitful and incompetent i, obviously, wouldn't have gone anywhere near them. And i advise anybody contemplating doing business with them to think very hard before doing so.

[I haven't had time to install the part yet so I'll not be at all surprised if it doesn't work. If it doesn't, i won't be going through the hoops of tyring to get my money back ... enough's enough with these shonks!]

Auto Parts Warehouse Scam and Fraud!

Do not buy from autopartswarehouse you will loose time and money as well as patience! Placed an order on an item that was in stock on their website and when the order came in they packed something entirely different. Ordered Flowmaster 60 Series muffler and they sent me turbo downpipes for a GMC / Chevrolet Turbo Diesel. Will not honor refund because they claim parts in the box must match the invoice shipped with the box as well as the description tag on the outside of the box. Invoice and tag on box clearly show 60 series import muffler however items packed were the downpipes. After calling Autopartswarehouse customer service, they put the blame on me and stated I must have switched the parts out and that, once again the parts inside the box must match the invoice to honor a refund. After calling 8 times, 3 hang ups and 2 merry go round pass this guy around, I lost 130.00 and gained a set of useless pipes that have no value to me, well there is ebay I guess but no where close to getting my full amount back. Never again! These people will scam you!

Unbelievable! I ordered a windshield wiper that I couldn't readily find locally and they emailed me and asked me if I agreed on $35.95 for shipping, to which I said NO. They charged my credit card $22.94. I emailed them, demanding a refund. They said to wait 3-5 business days. It's been more than that. I called the 800 number "and are always willing to assist you with your concerns" and I got indirect answers and lies, and whenever I was put on hold (I called them 5 times) no one ever picked up again. The last "agent" that picked up - all I could hear was laughing and talking and I had to yell into the phone HELLO! which barely got her attention.

I'm disgusted. Do NOT do business with this company!

I bought a set of 4 Weathertech(McNeil's automotive) Ventvisor/Rainguard and one of the part is defective. Called customer service and was transferred to a number where I waited more than 30 minutes with no one answering. Called the next day and customer service person has no consideration/personality. I requested for a replacement part of just the broken/defective part and was told to return the whole set and pay 20% restocking fee and reorder another set. He would not listen that if I remove the 3 good parts already installed may damage the good parts. Buying another set will make me pay shipping again and would guarantee that another part is bad .. then I will need to pay another 20% restocking fees/shipping again. I am frustrated with the company and I do hope they are not Filipinos since I am born in the Philippines also. Filipinos normally go out of their ways to help everyone.

Autopartswarehouse had great service as long as you don't want to return anything. I ordered two parts and turned out i didn't need either of them so I went about returning them . To do the "no hassle" return - means, fill out a form. wait 2 to 3 days. contact customer support wondering where the return form is. wait another 2 or 3 days (I'm in that process now - hopefully it will come in the email and I will see it). On top of all that they chart 20% restocking fee! This is "no hassle" return as defined by AutoPartsWarehouse.com.

Autopartswarehouse aka the Parts bin, Auto Parts Network, usauroparts.com, and many other names.

I bought some brakes from Autoparstwarehouse.com and after they arrived, APW sent me an email to fill out to receive $10 on my next purchase. I started to fill out the form and then realized that they were asking way too many questions and did not finish the form. A few weeks later I got a Visa bill for $12 from Complete Savings. Appearently when you sign up for the discount you are really signing up for a monthly subscription for $12 from Complete Savings. Read the small print. I called Visa to dispute the charge and I called Complete Savings to cancel the subscription and they informed me that they got my credit card number from APW. All you have to do is copy the last 4 digits of your credit card number to start the $12/month subscription. I checked them both out on Google and read about this scam between APW and many others with CS. My recommendation: dont buy from APW and dont sign up for the $10 discount on your next purchase.

4 days after making a complaint to the CA Division of Consumer Protection, the Charge card I used to make the original purchase, was charged for $1, 000.00 and for $2, 000.00. From the same offshore account this company uses to process its payments.

This is nothing short of a criminal ring of theives operating out of Carson CA

Auto Parts Warehouse Bad service

I have placed order with this site. initially everything was good, the live chat csr helped me and once i paid with paypal, the order was generated almost instantly, shipped out next day, shipping delivered in 2 days. however it's what's inside the shipping box that counts right?

these guys forgot to put my both of my pbr discs, and when i had ordered they said everything was in stock. so i called about the pbr discs and at first they told me they have it in stock but once i told them about my missing shipment all of sudden "our system hasn't been updated" "bait and switch: why don't you try our more expensive ones" and finally tired of hearing my csr "we'll just go ahead and give you a refund on your brake discs"

Came back home after work and tried to go to website, website still says in stock, but when i called to order, same loop again.
got transferred to 6 or 7 csr all same story again.

finally bottom line is they wanted me to pay for return shipping on my other items (4 spark plugs and a air filter) because i was so unsatisfied with the csrs, kept on insisting autoparts pay for the return shipping charge, finally got through with a rma number and return call tag (not yet, was just told to wait 24-48 hours to receive them in my email).

hopefully my return will go through asap and hopefully i'll be able to find myself a brake disc somewhere else. however, i am getting fed up with these bait and switch, unaccounted inventory, rude/careless csrs of this company. even though i was highly satisfied of my initial ordering process, my current situation of not having received my ordered item, not having received my partial refund for brake discs, unclear outcome of the rma and return call tag, being transferred/hold to numerous different csrs = all by means not a good company to do business with.

after all, internet business is all about customer satisfaction and reviews right?

Ordered several air and oil filters, received only the oil but was charged for all. Contacted APW who said they were out of stock, could not commit to when they would be in ("possibly next week") and asked me if I wanted to reorder. I said no, credit my account---when will that happen? "We are currently processing credits". Waited a day, sent them an email. No response. I have disputed the charge with AMEX who is now taking it up with them. BTW, what prompted the order was a promo discount which, when entered, was not accepted for unspecified reasons. When I asked they said that I didn't order enough---although the accompanying email gave discounts starting at $40 and my order was $85.

Auto Parts Warehouse Fraud and scam

Let's call it like it is. Car-stuff lies. I believe what they do is 'broker' orders out to suppliers throughout the United States. There's nothing wrong with that except; I ordered a part that cost well over one hundred dollars and received a different brand-name part costing one third what I was charged.

Car-Stuff Personnel were very reluctant to let me speak with a supervisor and when I finally did, supervisors don't have any authority and kept saying 'That's not our policy' and, 'You'll have to wait until..'. I hope to find out who's in charge. Surely there's a legal remedy for this type of thievery. It's wrong to promise “brand-name" and deliver “bottom of the barrel". I'd like to see this business fail. Our economy, in America, is bad because of businesses not being truthful and we consumers need to hold companies accountable. Are you with me?

I should have looked up this company first. I see they have numerous complaints on file. Lesson learned. Here's my story: I ordered a few parts and paid for them. I waited a while then checked on the order and was given tracking numbers etc. The end result was no parts delivered just a big runaround like ' were doing a follow up', your problem is forwarded to the Tracing Dept where a claim will be started' Wait 5 days, lost by DHL, shipped to wrong address, I guess they have a list of things to tell you.

Bottom line is you never get your order or your money back. This is a scam company.

Auto Parts Warehouse Overcharge my bank account

I spoke to their sales rep at Thanksgiving and he assured me $65 discount if I order over the phone but they turned around and charged my card for the full original price. Talking to their customer service is a nightmare. They will just hang up and so far nothing has been done to credit back my account. Consumers, beware. This company will scam you, in hopes that you will not catch them or just give up trying.

This company appears to be based in Trenton, NJ, and many seem to share the feeling it has been defrauding people for some time.

It scammed my son on a car part, also. My credit card company will give me no assurance it won't stick me in the end, despite the mail-order law that requires delivery within 30 days or an order must be considered canceled and cash refunded within 7 days. The law requires credit card purchases to be credited back in the immediate next billing cycle.

I am filing a complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, part of the Office of the New Jersey Attorney General, who has the power to file an injunction to prevent this company from doing further business. I advise everyone here to do the same.

I'm including Barclay credit card service in my complaint, because its representative, Margaret, would pursue this only as a dispute, with no promise the temporary credit will be permanent. I wonder if Barclay suspects this is a sketchy company and hopes to fool me into thinking it has no power to credit the purchase, as the law requires it to do.

Laws are meaningless if we don't hold feet to the fire to enforce them.

Auto Parts Warehouse Terrible customer service!

Auto Parts Warehouse takes inept customer service to a new low. I attempted to place an order for a part for a 2006 vehicle and they were going to send me a part for a 2001-05 model year. I told the person taking the order over six times that there is a different body style for the 2006 model versus the earlier vehicle. The genius merely typed in 2006 tail lens assembly and was going to ship me the wrong part. It should be interesting to see how long it takes to receive a refund. If you are reading this prior to ordering your part from these idiots then do yourself a favor and don't walk... run!

I am restoring a 2000 ford ranger after a pot smoker/junkie used it as his crack den, and I ordered a "custom carpet" which was described as an "Exact Fit" for the truck. Surprise, surprise it doesn't fit and I called Monday and got the return started. I was promised that I wasn't going to be charged a restocking fee and they would also send me a shipping label. As of this morning it still hadn't come in so I am calling them back. After I was unable to communicate to the call center in the Philippines I asked for customer service representatives in the United States and they don't have one! I am on the phone with them right now and they have me waiting for 15 minutes to speak with another manager that I probably won't be able to communicate with. I am calling to get the shipping labels emailed to me and when they sent the return confirmation they showed me as having a restocking fee!.. I don't mind jumping through their hoops of putting the part in another box, but I am not paying $30+ dollars in shipping and another $35 in restocking fee. I am only purchasing parts from the other company I have used 1aauto.com!

I JUST got off the phone with a customer service representative and it was the WORST experience ever! Ordered the wrong part from the website and now need to refund the merchandise. The part cost 87.22 from the start and they are charging me a 17.44 RESTOCKING fee to place the stupid part BACK on the shelf! Not only that I have to PAY for the shipping MYSELF! What a freaking joke these people are! I'm "generously" credited back 69.78, which will take (according to the RMA) approximately 4 weeks to get back.

Wait...it gets better...All the customer service agent could tell me while I explained to him how stupid and ###ed this all seemed was "Yes...we charge a re-stocking fee". After he said that repetitively like 4 STRAIGHT times I had to hang up on him, because it spounded like a human recording machine! And here's the kicker! I can not send the package back in the original box! LMAO! I have to find a box to send it back in or they will not accept my refund if it comes back in the original box. Some companies do not need to be in business, and if they keep up this practice then it won't be long before they fold.

DO NOT (I implore you) further finance this organization, because although I ordered another *correct* part from them (before returning this part), I haven't placed it on my car yet, and I'm PRAYING" this is the right part for my car. This is my first post ever about customer service and a company that's done me wrong, so I am REALLY upset about these clowns. Buyer beware...

This company is totally unorganized. I have been on the phone with 4 different people giving them the SAME INFORMATION about the parts that I wanted to return. I received two wrong parts and have not yet been given a "return authorization number." Why they need a return authorization number is beyond me. Most companies simply send a mailing label through email, no questions asked. This has taken me two weeks, and I have gotten nowhere. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Auto Parts Warehouse DISHONEST, LIES ABOUT STOCK, SHIPMENTS AND DISCOUNTS

AUTOPARTSWAREHOUSE IS NOT HONEST.

They lie about stock on their website, update your order so you believe the order is complete and shipping, and then give excuses about why the order is incomplete.

Don't bother with the 800 number, you may think it's better to have someone to talk to, but NOT when it's someone in India with a script, and a very annoying script at that. They'll promise you everything on the phone in the sales department, but none of it matches the customer service rap for AFTER sale support. I even asked about the return policy and had a sales guy telling me they never charge restocking fees, even as I was reading him the site's policy page. This policy page can't be easily found from any links on the site, I found it only by googling the site with some keywords like restocking fee

AUTOPARTSWAREHOUSE HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU COULD EXPECT.

Here's a run down of my order experience:
I ordered 4 items, rotors and pads for both front and rear axles. The rub was with the front pads. everything else arrived but the front pads, despite the website and MULTIPLE phone calls promising the order was completely filled and shipping. During this whole fiasco, the part showed as in stock on their website.

ITEM SHOWN AS IN STOCK DURING THE ORDER

ITEM SHOWN AS SHIPPED 1 DAY LATER

ORDER SHOWN AS COMPLETE

OPENED THE BOX AT THE BRAKE SHOP TO FIND NO FRONT PADS.

WAS LATER TOLD BY THE 1-800 INDIAN THAT ITEM WAS OUT OF STOCK

WHEN ASKED WHY IT SHOWED AS IN STOCK DURING MY ORDER THE 1-800 INDIAN SAID THERE WAS ONE IN STOCK AT TIME OF ORDER BUT IT WAS DAMAGED.

WHEN ASKED WHY I WAS NOT INFORMED OF THIS IN A TIMELY MANNER SO THAT I COULD MAKE ALTERNATE ARRANGEMENTS, THE THE 1-800 INDIAN FLAT OUT LIED AND SAID I HAD BEEN SENT AN EMAIL A DAY EARLIER(THE EMAIL ARRIVED 2 HOURS AFTER OUR CONVERSTATION).

WHEN ASKED WHY IT SHOWED AS IN STOCK DURING OUR PHONE CALL, THE 1-800 INDIAN SAID "I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU," AND SOMEHOW, WE WERE DISCONNECTED.

TODAY, FIVE DAYS AFTER THEY SHORTED MY SHIPMENT, ITEM STILL SHOWS AS IN STOCK!

APW HAS A LOT TO LEARN ABOUT HONESTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Autopartswarehouse.com sent me the incorrect part for the wrong year vehicle. Now they son't exchange it for the correct part b/c it's past it's 90-day return window. I'll have to ebay the part and they can kiss my rear of ever getting my business again. There are quite a few websites out there that all point back to the same seller. i wonder why they need so many websites...

This company appears to be based in Trenton, NJ. Many seem to share the feeling it has been defrauding people for some time.

It scammed my son on a car part he ordered that never was shipped. I'm ordering elsewhere now, but my credit card company won't give me assurance it won't stick me with Auto Parts Warehouse's charge too in the end. Federal mail-order law requires delivery within 30 days or an order must be considered canceled and cash refunded within 7 days. The law requires credit card purchases to be credited back in the immediate next billing cycle.

I am filing a complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs in the Office of the New Jersey Attorney General, who has the power to file an injunction to prevent this company from doing further business. I advise everyone here to do the same.

I'm including Barclay credit card in my complaint, because its representative, Margaret, would pursue this only as a temporary dispute, with no promise credit will be permanent despite records I have in hand showing Auto Parts Warehouse posted the charge Nov. 11 and as of Dec. 11 shows shipping status as "not shipped." I wonder if Barclay knows from other complaints thaht this is a sketchy company and hopes to fool me into thinking it has no power to credit the purchase, even if it's Barclay's loss.

Laws are meaningless if we don't hold feet to the fire to enforce them.

Auto Parts Warehouse Returns are impossible!

DANGER! WARNING- RETURNS ARE NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE! I too received 2 wrong parts orders, totaling over 600 dollars, and never received an email with my return authorization number. Every time I called I got a person that could barely speak English, and they assured me I would get an email in 2-3 days with my return number- never ever got that email. So I disputed the charges with american express, and then autopartswse managed to find someone to fill in 30 pages of what I did wrong, and why I should be charged for all this stuff thats wrong, and a copy of their 21 day return policy, but could never call or email me with a return number. I have re-opened a dispute with am ex, and am waiting for the results, but I believe they will screw me again. BEWARE OF THIS SITE!

Auto Parts Warehouse No email confirmation, no parts!

I ordered an Audi A4 brake reservoir on May 31st. Shipping was supposed to take 3-4 business days. It is now June 14th and still no part, no email, no phone call. I call today to find out what the hell happened, just to find out that they NEVER had the part, NOR were they going to. HORRIBLE SERVICE on the brink of SCAM. They offered a refund, with a bit of an attitude i didn't want to hear on the phone. 3-4 days for the refund, just hope to god i don't have to call back because they "forgot."

Overall, this company is not professional. Timeliness and customer service is something they DO NOT offer.

Still no refund. First they said it would take 3-4 days. I called back and now they're saying it takes 4-7 business days. At the end of the phone call they said it might take 10-12 days... they do not live up to their guarantee whatsoever.

Auto Parts Warehouse Wrong parts on 4 out of 6 orders!

Autopartwarehouse.com is the parent site for nearly 100 hundred different auto parts sites on internet all have different looks and feels but tie in to the same company and ordering system. On 4 of the 6 times I have ordered i have gotten the wrong parts. All parts need an RMA to be returned. Getting an RMA is like pulling your own teeth out. You fill out a return form and they tell you to expect an rma in 2-3 business days. Except in ever circumstance you never ever get one. Then you are forced to keep calling, and emailing until they finally give it to you manually. In one case it took me 3 weeks before getting on and nearly 60 days before my card was credited. Additionally you will eat the return shipping and if you want the part swapped out they will charge you again for shipping for their mistake. It is by far one of the worst managed ordering, shipping, and return systems i have encountered.

I ordered window regulator from the website www.autopartswarehouse.com. They sent me completely different parts, which I haven’t ordered. I sent emails and called, and the seller promised to deliver right parts within 3 days. After that no one delivered these parts, as well as the seller’s number was busy all the time. Maybe someone has any ideas how to return money back, please contact me then or leave a comment. Thanks.

TAKE THIS ADVICE - do not purchase from this company. Their parts catalog is wrong and when you receive a part that doesn't fit your vehicle they won't take it back. I received the wrong brakes for my Chevy truck - they weren't even close. When I contacted them we got into a protracted e-mail dialog with them claiming the parts would fit. Eventually I got a note that the 30-day refund period had expired and I was stuck with the part. These folks are dishonest and do not deserve your business! STAY AWAY!

I submitted an order online for an Alignment kit for my Z3 BMW. In order to order the product you must complete the questionair to describe the car you are ordering the part for. I completed the questionair and submitted the order. Auto Parts warehouse sent me the right part but for the wrong car, this was determined only after the parts had been installed on the car at an expense of $250.00 labor. After many tries to get to customer support, I ended up speaking with Katie Dometita the customer service rep located in the Phillipeens. After trying for 40 minutes to explain to her in Plain English (foriegn to her). Katie determined that I had no reason to expect them to do anything because I ordered the wrong part, "the part number was on the order form". When i asked to speak with her supervisor she put me on hold and eventually hung-up on me. Katie did not seem to understand that, I don't know all the part numbers for all the products they carry, and the information I entered was correct their system is not correct. I spent $250.00 to have the wrong part installed and will have to spend an onther $250.oo just to get the car back in the same condition i took it to the shop in, and i have not been able to get a refund on the wrong part. DON"T BUY FROM AUTOPARTS WAREHOUSE.COM

Avoid purchasing here at all costs! I searched the site for replacement fog light for my 2017 MB C350 sport. Their website had a part advertised as a "direct fit OE replacement" for this model. I ordered and the next day it arrived...fantastic! Uh oh, I took the light out to the car and it was the wrong part. I called customer service to see if I could get the correct part, they told me this was the only one they had and they'd be issuing a full refund and put in "a supervisor request" for return shipping since it was their error. This was obviously just to get me off the phone as I got an email with a 20% restock fee deducted and was told to pay for shipping. We went back and forth on email several times and the "customer service" agents just asked for the same things over and over. I provided my VIN 3 time, photos of the parts not fitting, and repeated requests to have a supervisor contact me. I then called on the phone and was asked the same questions again, put on hold several times for 10 min or so and finally told BY A SUPERVISOR(!)they were denying my request because I SHOULDN'T HAVE RELIED ON THEIR MODEL NUMBER INFORMATION I somehow should have been able to tell from the photo that they had it incorrect! Since the photo is the part I received (even though it doesn't fit the car like the web site says it does) they think there is no mistake on their part and I should pay a restocking fee and return shipping! Unbelievable! Instead of thanking a customer for noting a discrepancy that could save them future customer service issues(they have yet to correct their site) they're only purpose appears to be to wear people down so they can collect some bucks even when they screw the customer. If you have ordered from this site and have a problem, don't waste more than one call to customer service, immediately dispute it with your credit card company as these guys are only wasting your time!

There are some other good summaries of nearly identical issues at stupidorjustignorant.com and beware: they also operated as US Auto Parts and they operate under several site names like partsbin.com and autopartswarehouse.com as well as some others.

On 3/2/09, I ordered wiper blades- Part # A19C28SB - 2 pcs. for $37.79, but only one piece was sent. I contacted customer service on 3/17/09 and was told by Adrian I would receive an email with delivery confirmation from warehouse within 24-48 hours. That didn't happen, so I called on3/20/09 and spoke with Chris. He said the part I ordered was only for one piece therefore they were not sending another part. I copied the description and referenced it with them and showed them it clearly stated there were 2 pieces. They claimed it was a mistake in the listing. Regardless, with encouragement, Chris spoke with the supervisor Shara and they were sending the additional part out immediately. I never received the product or delivery confirmation, as promised again, therefore I called again on 3/32/09 - This time I spoke with Zai- whol gave me the same story after repeating my problem once again- being placed on hold for an eternity, but he assured me he would see to it that the warehouse emailed delivery confirmation to me withing 24-48 hours. Of course, that didn't happen, plus no product has been recieved. On 4/6/09, I called one more time, spoke with Jill who I explained the whole situation again and she gave me the same " the warehouse will email your delivery conf. within 24-48 hours speech) and I asked 2 times to speak to her supervisor. She did not want me to speak to anyone, therefore she put me on hold for eternity- with no one picking up the line for over an hour- so I hung up. Each time I have called this company I am left on hold for 30-60+ min. This company does not do anything they say they are going to do and do not send products described in their product listings. Beware of this scamming group and order anywhere but here.

Free shipping...with a THIRTY DOLLAR ($30.00) HANDLING CHARGE

Next day delivery for an extra fee...they'll charge your card the SAME DAY...and ship the product the NEXT WEEK. I always thought that "next" meant "consecutive"...silly me.

Try cancelling an order BEFORE IT'S FINALIZED...they will ignore your documented cancellation requests and deliver it anyway. Then you have to send it back AT YOUR EXPENSE (and inconvenience) only to have them charge your credit card with a RESTOCKING FEE.

Insult to the injury: NEVER-ENDING SPAM

I ordered $84 worth of car parts over the phone with a good salesman who quoted me $40 for shipping to my home address. I was charged the International Rate of $104. I called the shipper, UPS, who told me they paid $31 to ship the package to me.

Many, many phone calls to their "customer service" line got me their final solution to my request for a refund of the difference in shipping: "We charge whatever we want for shipping... blah, blah, blah,... at the time of shipping".

Buyer Beware! I could have purchase these parts right down the street for less once you factor in the shipping "surcharge".

I placed an order for 7 parts and gave my complete car info including Vin#, make, model etc and after asking if they were NEW parts, was told yes by the sales rep. I then waited a week to get the parts, and upon receipt, found they were the WRONG PARTS, as well as being refurbished used parts - not NEW ones as stated. Then begain the trial of calling their Customer Service (which is a joke - noone there understands English, nor cares to rectify any problems - they just give useless apologies.), and was sent a 2nd set of parts but had to pay for them again to get them sent out immediately. I was told I'd be credited right back for the first ones as soon as I FedEx'ed them - but they kept stalling in sending shipping labels, and so far I've spent 4 days emailing back and forth to them and calling (I spent 3 hours one day on the phone!), and I STILL don't have all the correct parts and am still out double the money! When I called to ask for the VP or Owner, they won't give out any information - obviously because they rip off customers and practice fraudulent business practices so much, they don't want to give customers someone to complain to! BEWARE of this company - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Auto Parts Warehouse Horrible customer service and unethical business practices

I ordered nerf bars on 4-16-07. I called on 5-5-07 because they were not delivered. I was told that they charged me but returned the money because they did not have the parts. I re ordered the parts and was told they were in stock. I called back late on 5-7-07 and was told that I was billed but that no action had occurred. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for 10 minutes then disconnected. I called back and a customer service representative refused to let me speak to a supervisor until I recited the whole matter again. I finally spoke to a supervisor who told me that they just purchased the parts. They were to call me back today and give me a routing number. I wrote them an e mail to the company last night which was not responded to or acknowledged. I called again and got a routing number. I have no confidence in this company to do as they say or advertise. Michael Schaffer.

This the worst experience I had with any mail order company. Sometimes you just get unlucky. I was charged 25$ for 1 spark plug. I never received and invoice. When I then told them I would return the part they gave me an RMA number and I returned it paying the postage. Now they lie and claim they have no record of receiving the part. Thats impossible but they obviously are a criminal organization run by crooks.

This company is very dishonest and deceptive and I will file a claim with the BBB against them.

Rep did not place order correctly, quoted a different price. Called to correct order and unknown to me they charged my credit card 3 times. I returned most of the items, still waiting for credits, months later, and this is their regular business tactics. You ARE ABSOLUTELY INSANE IF YOU ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY OR ITS AFFILIATES, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT ISSUE YOU A REFUND. READ MORE INFO ABOUT THEM HERE.

I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE PENNSYLVANIA STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AND I WILL NOT REST UNTIL I GET ACTION. I AM STILL OUT $1400.00

Ordered parts. Email response confirmed that the parts were in stock.
Paid money and never recieved the parts. 6 months of emails and phone messages later they admitted that they never had the part and would not be stocking it.

Avoid this company at all costs. I will never deal with them again and I will encourage everyone that I know and can contact to avoid them.

I order a part from them on 11/6 and two weeks later I finally contacted them to see where it was, they told me it takes 10-14 business days for delivery. That's not what the website says. Everytime I contacted them I'd get a generic answer as to when the part would ship. It took until 12/5, and all this time I had a car waiting for repair.

NEVER again will I purchase from them.

I should have checked this web site before I ordered an alternator from APW. I went to the trouble installing it only to find out it was defective. Since then I 've requested (e-mail) an authorized return three times in one week and still haven't heard a thing from them. My only course of action now is to go to my credit card company and put a stop payment on it and go through the hazzle of explanations and forms.

Yes, I have bad experience with them. They refunded my money with less what their email stated on the RMA infromation. They have charged 20% restocking fee and mis calcutated my refund. I sent emails and emails and emails and they said, those refund amount was correct. SO they have bad management of what emails go to customer, better put the copy of the RMA and email from them when you return. Or you get less money. Never ever buy from them again !
