PaintScratch Great Paint Source for Older model RV's ( Winnebago Journey 2004)

If your looking to repaint your RV and it's an older model. This seller is the one to go with. I ordered last year some 2 oz bottles and repainted two sections of the RV for color match. They were perfect. You need to do a little research to find your colors and then PaintScratch will match it perfectly. (Turned out my RV was painted with 2005 colors not 2004, must of been a transition time to next years model) They also have a great website that I was able to get everything I needed from Adhesion Promoter, all the way to the final finish glaze. I feel good that it will last a long time, using their quality products.

PaintScratch Got the color right and fast shipping

Second attempt to match the paint on a 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser in Spring Green. Used another color match offering (not PaintScratch) on eBay for the same requested paint color. Unfortunately, life got in the way of my touch up painting plans and I didn't check the paint color. Not even remotely close but I had exceeded their return window and they wouldn't offer any other solution except repurchasing. So, I definitely wanted to try another source & found PaintScratch. Their online ordering process showed the correct paint color and that is exactly what I received with very quick shipping. I've now used the paint and it's a good match.

PaintScratch Second times a charm

Very pleased with the customer service I received. The first quart of paint I received was not a close match so I emailed them a sample of the color that they needed to match. They did it! They sent me a new quart of paint and responded i a couple of days. Very pleased with the results and response I received from them.

PaintScratch Patience!

I trimmed the tip of the pen to cover smaller paint chips. This product seems to work well if you follow the instructions. Definately use multiple coats to bring the paint above the surface. The biggest problem I had was using the leveling compound too quickly. I found the best way is to apply initial coat, let it dry over night, then apply the last coat and allow to dry for 1-2 hours. The leveling compound seems to work well if you follow the above. The chips on my car were very small so I did not use the clear coat.
Touch-up areas were almost undetectable so I am very pleased. Strongly recommended watching video on YouTube before using.

PaintScratch Ease of website

Ease of website. Initially when I started using PaintScratch I was apprentice. Their products are the best as far as my needs. Color match is excellent. Not always perfect due to years of a vehicle but even on an Audi Allroad Highland Green it was more than I hoped for. Now if I could figure out the best remedy for preventing chipping on the aluminum door blades which I prefer to be body color I would be a very happy camper. As it is now, I pull them once a year. Strip and abrade them. Use self etching primer. Resort body color. Directly from their spray can. Clear coat and they look new. Anybody have a better direction for me. Always open to suggestions. Thanks again

PaintScratch Good experience but I guess the color I have is difficult to match

Went through he process easily enough. They added my specific auto paint code to their menu. The order came as expected and earlier than expected. I am very pleased with the service. However, my color was not a good match. The color of the car is British racing green. The color I received is much lighter; perhaps moss green. The color might deepen after the clear coat is sprayed on.
I think they did the best they could. It is very difficult to get a good match without a part. On the whole I think this is a good company and I would try them again. Matching paint by mail is is a gamble, at best. This just did not turn out quire right for me. There are plenty of customers who had a good match.

PaintScratch Great Color Match

Our '66 Mustang still has the original burgundy (Color Code X) paint, so it's 57 years old, but is very good overall condition, yet had a few old door dings and other small chips. At first I was skeptical, because red tones are quite difficult to match. This touch-up paint was a perfect match. I first used some painter's tape around the chips. Then I used a small abrasive auto paint tool to prep the chipped areas. I followed that with 5 light coats of paint, allowing at least 1 hour between coats. Then I followed that with 3 applications of clearcoat. The chipped areas are now only visible if you get very close, but standing 8 ft away, you can barely distinguish the repairs. I am very happy with the results.

PaintScratch Don't know about these paint applicator pens

These applicator pens do not seem as useful as expected. Other than being a repository of large, unpredictable dollops of material, the pens may be useful liquid holders.
When you press down on the vertical applicator tip to get some coating material, it gushes out in very unpredictable, excessive amounts.
If the drops of paint happen to fall on a clean, non-absorbent surface, you may be able to take a tiny artists touch up brush and dab it in the blob amount of paint that goes on the substrate.
Otherwise, if the big drop of excess paint from the paint pen falls on your fender or new Nike Crossfit shoe, please find some Acetone quickly.
Maybe with the tiny artist brush, you have a possibility of applying the correct amount of material.
The removable tips of these pens come out very easily They are easily dropped.
Then, when you wipe off the inevitable excess paint, the fiber tip will inadvertently get pulled out and fall on the dirty garage floor and becomes junk.
Best case, those little tips appear to be one-use only.
Even, if the contents of the pen are barely used, the pen goes in the trash if the removable tips are dried up or otherwise compromised.
My recommendation would be to get your touch up paint in a little unpressurized container that will enable the user to select application method and size of applicator appropriate for the application..

PaintScratch Disappointing Customer Service Experience with PaintScratch: A Review

I recently had an experience with PaintScratch that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I had placed an order for $100 worth of materials to touch up my Honda van, but just four days later, I unexpectedly secured a loan for my business and decided to paint the entire van instead. I quickly reached out to PaintScratch via email to cancel the order, but was met with a short and unsympathetic response informing me that I would still have to pay for the base coat.

As a painting contractor myself, I understand that custom color orders cannot be returned or cancelled, so I didn't have an issue with paying for the base coat. However, I did request that they only mail me the base coat products and not the rest of the order. Unfortunately, it seemed like my email was completely ignored, as they went ahead and mailed the entire order anyway.

Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from PaintScratch. As someone who works in a service industry myself, I know how important it is to treat customers with respect and understanding. Unfortunately, that was not the case with PaintScratch, and I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Overall, I would not recommend PaintScratch to anyone looking for quality customer service. While their products may be good, their lack of attention to customer needs and requests is a major turn-off. If you're looking for a company that truly values its customers, I suggest looking elsewhere.

PaintScratch Disappointing Experience with PaintScratch Auto Paint Products: A Review

I recently had an experience with PaintScratch (paintscratch.com) that left me feeling quite disappointed. As someone who enjoys DIY projects, I was excited to try out their auto paint products. However, my experience was far from satisfactory.

I had high hopes for the paint color matches I received, but unfortunately, they were not even close to the original color of my car. Despite providing all of the necessary information and checking the correct paint code, the color was way off. I was hoping for at least a close match, but what I got was a far cry from what I was expecting.

To make matters worse, the price of the product was quite high, which made the disappointment even more frustrating. I couldn't help but feel like I had been scammed out of my money, time, and effort. It was a huge letdown, and I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

In hindsight, I wish I had gone with the Dupli-Color brand instead. Not only is it less expensive, but it also seems to have a better track record when it comes to color matching. I can only imagine how many other DIYers have been let down by this product, and I hope that PaintScratch takes steps to improve their color matching process in the future.

Overall, I would not order auto paint from PaintScratch again. The price is too high for a product that doesn't even come close to matching the original color of the car. It's a shame, because I was really hoping for a positive experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case.

PaintScratch Disappointing Experience with PaintScratch: Unhelpful Customer Service and Inaccurate Color Match

I recently had an experience with PaintScratch that left me feeling quite frustrated. I was in need of a dark green paint for my motor home and found what I thought was the perfect match on their website. I didn't need an exact match, just something close enough to paint some trim pieces. So, I went ahead and placed my order.

However, when I received the paint, I was surprised to find that it was a silver mist with just a hint of green. I immediately thought it was a simple mix problem and tried to reach out to the company for help. Unfortunately, despite multiple emails and phone calls, I was unable to get in touch with anyone. They simply wouldn't pick up the phone or return my messages.

When I finally did get a response via email, I was disappointed to find that the company was unwilling to admit any mistake on their part. Even when I showed them that the color on their website was nowhere close to what I received, they continued to deny any error. The person I was corresponding with, Dave, seemed to have no customer service skills whatsoever.

At this point, I am determined to keep fighting until I get my money back. It's frustrating to have to deal with a company that doesn't seem to care about its customers. I would caution anyone considering using PaintScratch to think twice before placing an order.

PaintScratch PaintScratch sent wrong color for my Prius: Review and Comparison with Automotive Touchup

I recently had a painting project to do on my 2001 Toyota Prius. I needed to get the 1C5 Silver Strata color for the roof and trunk. I decided to try out PaintScratch (paintscratch.com) for the first time. Unfortunately, they sent me the wrong color, 1C5 Silver Graphite, which was never a color for a Prius that year. I was disappointed with their return policy, which seemed to give them the right to send you anything they wanted, and there was nothing you could do about it.

I was frustrated with the whole situation, but I decided to take action and complain to the Better Business Bureau and State attorney general to help other people avoid this kind of experience. I believe that companies should be held accountable for their actions, and I hope that my complaint will make a difference.

Despite my negative experience with PaintScratch, I have found another company that I trust for my painting needs. Automotive Touchup has always provided me with the correct color, and their 1C5 was perfectly correct when I painted the hood 2 years ago. I regret that I mistakingly used PaintScratch this time, but I have learned my lesson.

I have attached some pictures to show the difference between the work done by PaintScratch and Automotive Touchup. As you can see, the roof and trunk look terrible with PaintScratch's color, while the hood looks perfect with Automotive Touchup's color. I wasted my time and money dealing with PaintScratch, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

In conclusion, if you are looking for a reliable company for your painting needs, I would suggest trying out Automotive Touchup instead of PaintScratch. While I understand that mistakes can happen, I believe that companies should take responsibility for their mistakes and make things right for their customers. Unfortunately, PaintScratch did not do that in my case, and I hope that my review will help others avoid a similar experience.

PaintScratch Disappointing Experience with Paintscratch.com: Inaccurate Color and Poor Customer Service

I done ordered from paintscratch.com twice before and both times the paint color matched up real good. But then I ordered a third time and the paint I got was too dark and didn't match up at all. I emailed them about it and instead of just giving me my money back, they told me to send them a sample of the paint in the mail so they could check it out. What a pain in the butt, having to mail it and then wait for them to get it and then wait some more for them to tell me what I already knew - that the color was off. And to top it all off, I live up in Canada and they don't even ship up here, so I had to go all the way back to the border to get my paint from my P.O. box. Not cool, man. Customer service was not on point.

If you want to get your paint done right, go to Lordco auto parts. They'll mix up your paint in just 15 minutes and it'll be the right color, no doubt about it. Wish I had known that before I messed with paintscratch.

PaintScratch PaintScratch Review: Color Match and Customer Service Disappointing

I recently purchased some primer, base coat, and clear coat from PaintScratch to fix up my vehicle. I thought it would be an easy paint to mix since it's a popular color on many cars. However, when I sprayed a test sample, I immediately noticed that the color was way off. My paint has only a few pearl flakes in it, but what they sent me looks like it belongs on a bass boat!

I contacted PaintScratch and they asked me to send them a sample of the paint. After doing so, they told me that it matches their color chip perfectly. But I know for a fact that they have the wrong chip. I spoke with the dealership, a body shop, another online paint match supplier, and an auto parts store that mixes factory paint, and they all agree that PaintScratch got it wrong.

To make matters worse, the customer service at PaintScratch has been useless, defensive, and borderline incompetent. I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received and I will never use this company again. I wasted $139.69 on a product that didn't even come close to matching my car's paint.

Overall, I would not recommend PaintScratch to anyone looking for a reliable paint match. The color they sent me was completely off and their customer service was unhelpful. It's a shame that I wasted my money on this product, but hopefully this review will help others avoid the same mistake.

PaintScratch PaintScratch Review: Disappointing Product and Customer Service Experience

I recently purchased some spray paint, primer, and clearcoat from PaintScratch to give my 2013 Ford F150 a fresh new look. I was excited to get started and followed the instructions to a T. I even made sure to verify my paint code with Ford to ensure that I was getting the correct color. When I tested the paint, I was pleased to see that it was a perfect match.

However, when I applied the clear coat, I noticed that the paint appeared non-metallic. This was a problem because my truck has a metallic finish. I immediately contacted PaintScratch and sent them photos of the issue. They asked me to send the paint back at my own cost, which I did. They then sent me a new can of paint, which I tested and found to be the correct metallic finish.

Unfortunately, this meant that I had to start the entire process over again. I asked PaintScratch if they could provide me with the primer and clearcoat, but they told me that I would have to buy them separately. I was disappointed that I had wasted so much time and money on a product that didn't work as advertised.

To make matters worse, I felt like PaintScratch didn't stand by their products. They made a mistake by sending me the wrong paint to begin with, and then didn't offer any compensation for the inconvenience. I was brushed aside and left to deal with the problem on my own.

Overall, I would not recommend PaintScratch to anyone looking for automotive paint products. They make mistakes and don't seem to care about their customers. Save yourself the hassle and find a different company to do business with.

PaintScratch PaintScratch Review: Base Coat Colors Matched, But Clear Coat Disaster

I done ordered from PaintScratch twice, and both times I got me some base coat cans and a clear coat can. I used the Fleetwood paint codes, 745477K and 745473K, and got me some high gloss clear coat too. The base coat colors were pretty dang close to the original, but maybe a bit darker 'cause of the sun. But here's where things went south: the clear coat mix was actually reducer, not clear coat. So I sprayed the base coat and waited for it to set, then sprayed what I thought was clear coat on top. But instead of clear coat, the reducer streamed off and left a white, streaky mess all over the surface. I attached a photo so y'all can see for yourselves.

I went on PaintScratch's website and filed a complaint, and they got back to me right quick. But they said they ain't responsible for paint matches and that clear coat should only be applied by a professional paint shop. Well, I used up a good chunk of that clear coat trying to fix the damage it caused to the base coat. Now I'm just waiting to hear back from PaintScratch to see if they can help me out.

Overall, I ain't too happy with my experience. I reckon if you're gonna order from PaintScratch, make sure you know what you're doing and maybe get some professional help if you're using clear coat.

PaintScratch Disappointing Service and Lack of Concern from PaintScratch - A Review

I've used PaintScratch products before and they were pretty good. But this time, I was really annoyed because it took almost 3 weeks to get my order. I placed my order on October 6th and got a confirmation email the same day. But when I checked the status of my order on October 13th, they had no record of my invoice. So I emailed them to ask about it. Their response was really short and didn't seem to care about my concerns. They just said there was an issue and it would be processed soon.

I checked the status again on October 18th and it still hadn't been processed. At that point, I decided to cancel my order. But when I read their cancellation policy, I realized I would still be charged. I was really disappointed in their service and lack of concern for their customers. It's frustrating when you try to contact them and they don't answer your questions.

I'm not sure if I'll order from PaintScratch again. I'll wait and see how this order turns out. But I would definitely recommend reading their return and cancellation policies before placing an order. As they say, buyer beware. It's my bad for not reading them beforehand.

PaintScratch PaintScratch Touch-Up Paint: A 40% Failure Rate and Unacceptable Color Match

I recently tried out PaintScratch for touch-up paint on my car, and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with the results. I've actually used their products before, having purchased touch-up paint for five different vehicles over the past three years. Out of those five, only three of them actually worked out for me. That means that I had a 40% failure rate with their paint, which is pretty bad if you ask me.

When you spend hours prepping your car's surface, sanding, priming, applying the color coat, and finally adding the clear coat, you expect to see a positive result. But with PaintScratch, I found that the color match was off by 5-10 shades, which is totally unacceptable. I mean, who wants to spend all that time and effort just to end up with a paint job that looks like it was done by an amateur?

When I reached out to PaintScratch's customer service team to try and resolve the issue, their solution was to send me a new can of the same color coat. But honestly, with a 40% failure rate, why would I trust them to get it right the second time around? I just can't bring myself to trust that they'll be able to give me the correct color and shade that they advertise.

And it seems like I'm not the only one who's had a bad experience with PaintScratch. Out of the 35 reviews I've seen online, 29 of them gave the company just one star. That's a whopping 83% of their customers who think they stink! I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with PaintScratch, and I don't think I'll be using their products again in the future.

PaintScratch PaintScratch Review: Frustrating Experience with Wrong Color and Refund Denial

I recently had an experience with PaintScratch that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I was in need of bright silver paint for my Lexus and decided to order from their website, paintscratch.com. I provided them with the Vin # and eagerly awaited my order.

However, when the package arrived, I was shocked to find that they had sent me dark gray paint instead. I immediately contacted their customer service team to request a refund, but they refused to do so. Instead, they asked me to fill out their forms and even requested that I mail them a sample of the paint they sold me.

I felt like they were playing games with me and trying to avoid giving me a refund. It was a frustrating experience, and I was left feeling like I had been scammed. I wasn't the only one, either - I noticed that many others had received the wrong color from PaintScratch.

In the end, I decided to dispute the charge with Paypal. Even then, PaintScratch refused to refund my purchase price. Thankfully, Paypal ruled in my favor and I received a full refund.

Overall, I would caution anyone considering ordering from PaintScratch. While they may have some good reviews, my experience was far from positive. It's disappointing to see a company that doesn't stand behind their products and refuses to make things right for their customers.

PaintScratch Terrible Customer Service Experience with PaintScratch

I had a question for PaintScratch about their trim paints and boy, did I get some rude responses! I mean, I just wanted to know if they had them in stock, not for a specific car or anything. But all they could say was that I didn't give them enough information. I mean, come on, can't they just tell me if they have it or not?

So, I asked again, and all they could say was that they didn't have the resources to answer my question. Really? I mean, how hard is it to know if you sell something or not? It's not rocket science!

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend PaintScratch to anyone. There are so many other touch-up paint sites out there that are much more helpful and friendly. Don't waste your time with these guys.

PaintScratch PaintScratch sent me the wrong color and won't accept returns - buyer beware!

I ordered some paint from PaintScratch and unfortunately, they sent me the wrong color. I was supposed to receive a plain creamy beige, but instead, I got a gold metallic. There was no metallic paint anywhere on my vehicle, so I was pretty disappointed. I checked their return policy and it turns out they don't accept returns at all, even if they made a mistake. I wonder who wrote this policy, it seems pretty unfair to me!

I paid $38.00 for a can of paint that I can't even use. It's pretty frustrating, to be honest. My advice to anyone considering buying from PaintScratch is to go to an auto parts store with the color you need in hand. Buy a few colors that are close to the one you need and try them out. You can keep the ones that don't match for hobbies or other projects. In the end, you'll spend the same amount of money and you won't have to deal with the hassle of returning a product.

I'm going to give this gold metallic paint to my wife for her hobbies. It's not what I needed, but at least it won't go to waste. If you do decide to buy from PaintScratch, make sure you're absolutely positive about the color you need. Otherwise, you might end up with a can of useless paint like I did. Good luck!

PaintScratch PaintScratch Review: Terrible Service and Long Wait Times for One Touch-Up Pen

I've been waiting for my paint pen for my Jeep Compass from PaintScratch for quite some time now. I was informed that I have to wait until they fill 914 orders before they can ship my ONE touch up pen. When I tried to contact their customer service, I couldn't talk to an actual person. Instead, I received an email from a guy named Dave who told me that it takes a long time to mix and make a single pen. I wanted to cancel my order, but I didn't receive any response from them. They totally ignored my request.

Usually, I check reviews before ordering anything online. But this time, I really dropped the ball. I should have read the reviews before placing my order with PaintScratch. This place should be reported to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). They are getting away with murder here, and to me, they are nothing but crooks.

I am extremely disappointed with their service. It's frustrating to wait for so long for a single touch-up pen. I understand that it takes time to mix and make a pen, but waiting for 914 orders to be filled is ridiculous. And the fact that I couldn't talk to an actual person when I contacted their customer service is unacceptable.

I hope that others will read this review before ordering from PaintScratch. Don't make the same mistake I did. There are other companies out there that provide better service and don't keep their customers waiting for so long.

PaintScratch Disappointing Experience with PaintScratch: Incorrect Color and Poor Customer Service

I recently made a purchase from PaintScratch (paintscratch.com) and I must say, I was quite disappointed with the outcome. I ordered the paint color that was listed inside my car door, but when I received it, I noticed that it was way too dark. It wasn't even close to the correct color that I was expecting. I was quite upset about this and decided to contact the company to see if they could help me out.

I sent them a sample of the paint that they had sent me and explained the situation to them. However, to my surprise, they told me that the paint was an "exact match" with their paint and that the problem must be with my car. They suggested that the paint on my car had faded or that my car had been repainted, which was absolute crap. My car is only 4 years old, so there is no way that the paint could have faded to that extent, and it hasn't been repainted.

I was quite frustrated with the response that I received from the company, especially since they don't offer refunds for paint. I ended up being out $35, which was quite a lot of money for me. I would advise anyone who is considering purchasing from PaintScratch to think twice before doing so. I don't want anyone else to waste their time or money with these con artists.

Overall, my experience with PaintScratch was not a good one. I was disappointed with the quality of the product that I received and the response that I received from the company. I hope that they can improve their customer service in the future and offer better quality products to their customers.

PaintScratch Disappointed with PaintScratch's Paint Pens for Lexus GX460

I've been a loyal customer of PaintScratch for years and have always been satisfied with their products and services. However, my recent experience with their paint pens for my Lexus GX460 has left me disappointed. The paint won't come out of the pen as it should, and I had to pull the tip out to get any paint on it. This is not the quality I have come to expect from PaintScratch.

It's a shame because I have referred hundreds of old clients to this company from my decades of running a detailing business. Even in my retirement, I have continued to recommend PaintScratch to friends because of their high-quality products and excellent customer service. But now, I can no longer do so.

I understand that mistakes happen, but this is a significant one that has affected my trust in the company. I hope that PaintScratch will take steps to ensure that this doesn't happen again in the future. Until then, I will have to look for other options for my touch-up paint needs.

Overall, I am disappointed with my recent experience with PaintScratch. As a long-time customer, I expected better quality and service. I hope that they will take my feedback into consideration and work to improve their products and services.

PaintScratch PaintScratch Review: Mixed Feelings on Match Guarantee & Prices

I recently purchased quarts of primer, base, and clear from PaintScratch and I have mixed feelings about my experience. On the positive side, I received paint that had a satisfactory match on my first try. They provided me with the code and VIN which made the process easier. However, the prices at PaintScratch are an absolute joke. I would recommend finding a local autobody supply with quality paint matching capabilities instead.

As someone with limited knowledge of autobody paint, I was willing to make this order based on their match guarantee. However, I was disappointed to find out that for a $150 base coat quart, I was expecting a high quality paint. Instead, I received PPG Omni matched paint. I ran out and purchased additional Omni locally for only $50, which made me feel like I was robbed by PaintScratch. The same goes for their primer and clear, which also had a significant markup.

Overall, I would advise others to avoid this company. While they do offer a match guarantee, the prices are simply not worth it. You can find better quality paint at a more reasonable price elsewhere.

PaintScratch Disappointing Experience with PaintScratch: Inaccurate Color and Poor Customer Service

I recently purchased a paint pen for my Jeep from PaintScratch, and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience. I thought I had chosen the correct color based on the pictures provided on their website, but unfortunately, the pictures were not accurate at all, and I ended up receiving the wrong color.

When I reached out to PaintScratch to exchange my pen for the correct color, I was met with a less-than-helpful response. They basically told me that I had ordered what I ordered, and that if I wanted the correct color, I would have to purchase it at full price. I was pretty surprised by their lack of willingness to work with me, especially since I'm not a paint expert and had relied on their website to guide me in my purchase.

Overall, I would say that my experience with PaintScratch was pretty disappointing. If you're looking for a company that truly cares about its customers and is willing to go the extra mile to make things right, I would recommend looking elsewhere. While their prices may be competitive, the lack of customer service and willingness to work with customers is a major downside.

PaintScratch Disappointing Experience with PaintScratch: Wrong Color and Poor Customer Service

I recently made a purchase from PaintScratch (paintscratch.com) to get a specific color for my vehicle. Unfortunately, they sent me a color that was too dark and didn't match my truck at all. It was obvious that they keyed in the wrong color code. I was really disappointed with the product I received and felt like I wasted my money.

I tried to reach out to their customer service team through email to resolve the issue. However, it was a frustrating experience. They kept asking me to send a sample of the paint color to see if it matched their color code. I mean, seriously? It was clear that they filled the order wrong. I couldn't believe that they couldn't provide basic customer service and kept asking me to do all the work.

To make matters worse, they charged me $30.00 for a 2 oz sample bottle. I felt like I was being ripped off. I really wish I had read the reviews before I made my purchase. I would have saved myself a lot of trouble and money.

Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with PaintScratch. They didn't provide good customer service and sent me the wrong product. I would never use this sham of a business again.

PaintScratch PaintScratch Review: Great Selection and Easy Ordering, but Match Your Color for Older Cars

Ordering from PaintScratch was a breeze. I didn't have any trouble navigating their website and placing my order. However, when the paint arrived, I noticed that it didn't match the color of my car. At first, I was disappointed and frustrated. But then I realized that it was probably my fault for not providing enough information.

I had given PaintScratch the paint code of 749, which is supposed to be Tropical turquoise. But I didn't give them a painted part from my car to match the color. I didn't have any small parts that I could send to them, so I took a chance and hoped that the paint code would be enough. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

To be fair, PaintScratch did warn me that car paint from the 1950s should be matched rather than going by the paint code. But I didn't listen to them, and I ended up with the wrong color. I accept responsibility for my mistake.

Luckily, I was able to find a paint supply company about 100 miles away from me. I drove my car there, and they were able to match the paint correctly. It was a bit of a hassle, but I'm glad that I was able to get the right color in the end.

Overall, I would still recommend PaintScratch to others. They have a great selection of paints and their website is easy to use. Just make sure to provide as much information as possible when ordering, especially if you have an older car with a unique color.

PaintScratch They sent me completely wrong colour of the paint

I purchased RED paint for my car from www.paintscratch.com. The rep told me that they ran out of red paint, but he told me that they could provide RED Metallic, it was also great colour. I agreed, but the seller sent me wrong colour and it didn’t have any hint of red colour. I complained, but the seller told me to wait and vanished with my money. I was disappointed in such services and their attitude.
