Bank not replying after screwing up my account and life!
This all started on 5/16 when I transferred $1000 from my money market to my checking to fund a home improvement project. The bank transferred it the other way, which shouldn't have been possible bc I didn't even have $1000 in my checking account! So of course my transactions started being declined. I got up at 6am in order to be at Home Depot to get supplies. I shopped for hours. Only to have my card declined! Of course it was Sunday, and while they can deny me access to MY MONEY on a Sunday, they can't be there to help me!
When I saw the bank screwed up my transfer, I made another, in the amount of $2000, to be safe and ensure nothing would be declined. That transfer never made it to my checking account. It left my money market and is just sitting there in limbo. I HATE THIS FKING BANK. I wrote more "secure messages" that apparently they never received (?) because I never got a reply!
So, disabled and in chronic pain as I am, I had to make the trip to my branch to get cash and make ANOTHER transfer. My $2000? Still in limbo. My messages? Still ignored. Confidence in my bank? NOT INSTILLED! And although this bank has caused all this BS, they still want to charge me $34 for overdrafts. I DON'T THINK SO.
Desired outcome: They need to fix their fking messaging system that DOESNT WORK. They need to resolve ALL of the above issues! They need to reach out, resolve and apologize!

On Saturday I went into your branch to be greeted to an empty branch with two people standing behind the counter and your service representative looking at her cell phone. As I needed to change the name on my bank account to a new DBA I stood waiting for about 5 minutes. The service rep was too busy with her personal issues to even address me. So I decided...

I had the most awful service at Bank of Albuquerque uptown with the manager Elaine she was the most rude person and also rude to her employees. I have moved all my accounts to another bank and also all my family members and Friends also have moved to a different bank. I complained to HR and nothing was ever done about it as a matter of fact she got promoted...

Late fees for mortgage payment
I originally got a mortgage through charter bank under the hero program and a few months later I found out that they sold my mortgage to bank of albuquerque which is located in tulsa oklahoma. I made my payments every month even when the transition occurred and after the second or third payment I was informed that a 30 day late payment had been reported to the credit bureaus and a late fee assessed because my payment had been received after the last day of the month. I was also told that they don't look at the postmark to see if I had sent it with ample time for it to arrive in the mail. I live in southeastern new mexico and have consistently mailed my payments five sometimes six days ahead of the last day of the month. I have seen this trend with other mortgage companies and I feel like I am being extorted. If this has happened to anyone else with this business, also known as bank of oklahoma, or know if there is someone I can contact to try and reverse the damage done by these extortionists my email is [protected]@yahoo.com.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
They expected me to put my fingerprint on the front of the check to cash a measely $100 check. I confirmed that there were sufficient funds in the account to cash this check. Since when is my driver's license and signature not enough? When I asked what my alternatives were, she said to go to another bank.
I had the same issue also! A lot of problems!
I too am experiencing this. Now my credit score is low and I have no way to get refinanced or any help. I am duped. Anyone have a source for help? Baill3nd@msn.com email me!
Not necessarily have we had the Mortgage issues with Bank of Albuquerque, however we have noticed that their banking system is set up with "a convenient" way for them to be the takers of money via fines and fees. They are sweet as heck when they want for you to open the account and hand you the brochure and tell you that everything you need to know----one of these "read the small print" type situations. We got it for having low savings balances as well as too many savings withdrawals---apparently only 6 are allowed each month. It is sad that bankers sell the thought of convenience and then nickel and dime you to take what they can. Very unscrupulous outfit. We extend our sympathies about the mortgage buyout situations---you folks got the raw end of the deal---you never intended of them to be your lender and because a practice of buying and selling loans is legal (corporate america gets away with alot) you got stuffed.
I have just had an ACH payment deducted by B of Abq and then not applied to my account to generate late fees. This borders on fraudulent. Customer Service is design to avoid customer with wait times, non-response and rude staff. Their system falls over and I will spend many hours trying to get corrected
Same thing happened to me. Charter sold my mortgage to The Bank of Albuquerque. The Bank of Albuquerque are truly bankster ###. The service they offer seems to be designed to frustrate and nickle and dime customers. I've been trying to refinance with another bank but a year ago I started my own business. The banks say I need to be in business for two years before I can refinance with them so I'm S.O.L.
I have had the same problem with Bank of Albq. If you have had a set back in your life and attempt to make a payment on line or by phone, you must make two payments. I don't have two payments and when I attempt to mail a payment by cashiers check, it is rejected and sent back. When I save the money for two payments, I am 3 payments behind and the same vicious cycle starts again. I would like to know if there is anyone out there savy enough in the law to know if there is enough for a class action lawsuit here.

Same thing happened to me. I called Charter and B of A as soon as I recieved the notice in the mail of the change to make sure there was no missed payment. This would be my advice to others.
