Meat Dept
I bought 2 Tr-Tips on sale on 8/13 at 6:50am in Kingman, AZ. I opened them up to seal the meat for freezing and on the bottom of each was a little over 1/2 pound of fat (each) that was hidden so buyers could not see. I have pictures and weights plus the receipt of what I bought as proof of how they deceive the public and it obviously intentional. More pictures on request
Desired outcome: I want a 1.3lbs reimbursed to me. Having fat on meat is commonplace, but to deceive the public to put it on the bottom and having .70lbs in each package is uncalled for.
A complaint about a cashier looking through my food and making me throw it away right there at the line.
I went to Bashas in Camp Verde Arizona this morning and on Friday, it's buy a dozen donuts and get half a dozen for free. I got a dozen donuts and a box of half of a dozen. The cashier looked through the small box of donuts and said that one of the donuts was not apart of that deal and now the deal was no longer valid and I would have to pay for each donut individually. I told her that I didn't know but I still wanted the deal. She made me open the box and throw away the donut right there in line in front of everyone. Lucky some other customers recorded in and hopefully it will go viral. I also reported it to the health department and they said that NO food should be opened through the line. It's not sanitary and we're in a pandemic.
Desired outcome: Teach your employees how to treat costumer with some respect.
unprofessional behaviour

I have been doing shopping in Bashas for about last 2 years .
I work next to this Supermarket and visited Deli to get a lunch, 3-4 times a week.
Today I wanted to buy salami and asked a young associate to cut salami for about 4 inches width. That's when it started.
First, told me that he need to know the weight...? The question itself seemed awkward to me because I am buying salami not the first time in my life, and no one ever asked me a question about a weight. I answered that I really do not know the weight, if he could just cut 4 in and showed him with my hands how wide it should be.
Next, he raised his voice and repeated the same question about the weight.
I told him still, that I truly do not know the weight and I also asked him why he raised his voice at me.
He insisted on his question again and I could not manage it any more. I asked to call maybe someone else who would be able to cut salami for me.
He is young man, and first I would think he has no experience handling food, ... but raising voice and showing attitude...? That's a shame.

all products
Starting this year 2018, This store has not had the discounts like they did in the past years. Also they aren't stocking enough products. Every time we go there, they are always out of something, Bashas Bread, canned vegetables, etc. For example, we have been looking for Food Club canned spinach. They have been out of it for over 2 weeks. Also they seem to always be out of valuetime bacon. We found out that they have a new district manager and he is making them lower their inventory. We believe that this person is causing the problems here. Hopefully that can be changed as their will soon be a new Frys store coming in the Saddlebrook Marketplace. Whoever ran this store before, did a great job.
Ridiculous store
Recently went to Bashas' store and wanted to buy a pumpkin. The ones I found were old and rotten. I found Bashas' employee and asked him if they had better pumpkins and he asked me to wait and told he'll go and check. I stood there for about 15 minutes and nothing!
When I found the guy he was already doing something else! I asked about the pumpkin and it was obvious that he just forgot about me. I bought nothing and left the store. Terrible service!
dirty frozen food cases
I live in Wickenburg Az and have shopped at this Bashas store off and on for 20 years. I only shop there occasionally as the store is not clean and the cases with frozen food, eggs, milk and other such products always seem to be dirty. Today Sunday 8/7 I bought frozen orange juice from a case that needed a good cleaning. The store seems to continually get worse.
wrongful termination
was fired for defending myself against aggersive customer. i was fired because company is trying get rid of employees because they are have financial problems . DON'T SHOP BASHAS' they do not care about their employees. thanks.

Bashas did this to most of their full time, top pay, top benefit employees. I was let go after 30 years of continuous employment. They said I took a coupon wrong and even though the computer scanned it off the order, (hence approving the coupon) #1) I was suppose to read the entire coupon, #2) determine that the customer bought the right quantity of the item and #3) make sure the computer didn't make a mistake in it's approval..
In doing this I would have got fired for not being productive since my check out would have started moving very slow. So, I guess I was to be fired either way because I was top pay, top benefit, grandfathered in to many things and full time. They no longer have full time employees because they avoid paying benefits.
