Recently, I had a real bad experience at Bavaria BMW in Edmonton. The service they gave was real dishonest, but that ain't even the worst part of my whole time there. The management's response to this experience was like, "it's our word against yours."

Bavaria BMW Manager won't give back my deposit 'cause I couldn't afford insurance for financing

Manager won't give back my deposit 'cause I couldn't afford insurance for financing. He went ahead and used my Personal Info to get online quotes. Can't go through with the sale 'cause I can't afford full coverage, but they still want me to take the car.

Bavaria BMW I got a 2011 BWM ** and the check engine light kept coming on and off before

I got a 2011 BWM *** and the check engine light kept coming on and off before. I took it to this dealer service shop in July to get it fixed. But after 5 repairs, the problem just got worse and worse. The last repair made the car completely unusable and the check engine light stayed on all the time. I talked to the service manager about it, and she said she would talk to her team. But then she never called me back.

Bavaria BMW I had 2 engine oil leaks in my car that's only a year old

I had 2 engine oil leaks in my car that's only a year old. These leaks caused a big stain on the underbody panel, which is made of a carpet-like material. The leaks were determined to be a defect from the manufacturer. I think they should fix everything that got damaged because of this defect. However, the service department refused to fix the stained underbody panel and said it's not their problem. The service manager was really rude and never said sorry for the problem.

Bavaria BMW In April , I bought a 2018 BMW X6 from BMW Bavaria Edmonton

In April , I bought a 2018 BMW X6 from BMW Bavaria Edmonton. The car had around 50,000km on it. I also purchased an extended warranty (Platinum) that covers up to 160,000km. The person at Bavaria told me that this warranty covers everything, especially mechanical issues like the engine. I had another warranty for service and maintenance, but it just expired and I was planning to extend it. I always made sure to do the maintenance on time and took it to the BMW Bavaria service department.

I didn't have any problems with the car until last week when it wouldn't start. Well, it did start, but then it died right away. I had to tow it to BMW Bavaria Edmonton, and they told me that the car needs a new engine. The cost of this repair is over $36,000 Canadian Dollars. It has already been a week, and the warranty is still "investigating the cause." They asked for my consent to open up the engine and take more pictures for the investigation. I agreed to it, but the approval for the repairs under warranty is still pending. It's been quite frustrating...

Bavaria BMW We paid $1000 to Bavaria BMW on July 2, 2022, as a deposit for a pre-owned BMW X5 Car, which was also a manager's demo

We paid $1000 to Bavaria BMW on July 2, 2022, as a deposit for a pre-owned BMW X5 Car, which was also a manager's demo. After returning home, we decided not to proceed with the deal due to personal financial concerns. We submitted the refund request on July 3, 2022, but we never received a reply from BMW Bavaria. On July 4, 2022, we called to inform them about the refund request, but no action has been taken. The person we spoke to mentioned that, according to their policy, they cannot refund the deposit because they have already received approval for the auto loan submitted for the vehicle. They suggested that we choose another vehicle from their store, but we declined. We offered them the option of either a full or partial refund (deducting any applicable processing fee) or a store credit to purchase merchandise. They said they would speak with their manager and get back to us, but since then, they have stopped answering our calls. It was a used manager's demo, not a factory order, so they shouldn't forfeit my deposit. $1000 is a significant amount for me as an international immigrant, and I feel like they are trying to deceive me. I kindly request your assistance with this matter.

I don't think it's my fault that the engine had issues. I've always done maintenance on time and followed the recommendations from BMW Bavaria Service. I also don't think the cold weather is to blame. When I bought the car, they told me that it doesn't need a block heater because it's designed to start in cold weather. Last winter, my car started without any problems even in temperatures as low as -40'C. Last week, when it didn't start, the temperature was -27'C. The car was parked in the parking lot at my workplace. I always park it in an insulated garage at home or an underground garage when I go shopping. The only time it's parked outside is when I'm at work.

I also need a loaner car to get to and from work, but BMW Bavaria keeps telling me that they can't give me one.
