Bay Alarm Medical is worth every cent for the peace of mind I have knowing that my mom can rely on this service when she needs it. We had to utilize this service for the first time a few days ago and it worked flawlessly. Thank you to Bay Alarm for their superior customer service and for taking care of my elderly mom in ***. I highly recommend this service to anyone that has a family member in need of immediate help in the event of an unexpected accident or other scenario.

Have used Bay Alarm for two years at this point and have had no complaints. They are always quick to respond when my mother activates the alarm and have brought her help quickly. The people I have dealt with have all been *** who know what they are doing and don't waste time doing it. Have been very happy with this service and would recommend it for any older person who has to be left at home alone, even if its only a few hours. Well worth it knowing we're covered.
My son provides this for me and I am happy to say that I feel safer having it. The couple of times I've had to reach customer service by phone have been good experiences. ***, the last CSR/Tech I reached today helped me get on with the new system. She was very knowledgeable and patient with me. I'm glad my son decided to get this for me.

Overall I've been very pleased with Bay Alarm Medical. I decided to cancel the service and return the equipment after I was told in an email that it would cost upwards of $200 to replace the batteries in the Fall Alert monitor and the wall buttons. I felt that was ridiculous, particularly considering I do not own the equipment. It took eight minutes on hold with customer service. The *** was very pleasant and agreed to replace the Fall Alert at no cost. She checked further and told me the wall buttons were functioning just fine! I'm not particularly happy that I was told otherwise several times, but glad we were able to resolve the issue to my complete satisfaction.

Zach was awesome in his assistance. He went above and beyond to verify all account information even though that was not the purpose of the call. In the process, he discovered several small errors and one outdated phone number. He helped with the call purpose in an expert and professional manner. He also checked on periodic testing and whether we were in need of any additional equipment. All in all, a very thorough and professional handling of our needs. Highly recommend Bay Alarm Medical

As I was unclear about the procedure to use during an actual emergency, I called the 800 number to see whether there was a downloadable instruction sheet available so that we could have it on hand. No such instruction sheet seems to exist according to the person I talked to. That is disappointing as the person most likely to use the service is technically challenged but does well with written instructions.

Bay Alarms customer service is outstanding! It is so refreshing to:-get help immediatelyno phone waits -speak with a person who not only knows their companys emergency process but also knows their equipment -speak with a person who is patient and speaks clearly. Zach did not say goodbye until all my issues were resolved. - BTW; Love the watch. Did a test, while talking to Zach, to make sure all was operational. I highly recommend a call to Bay Alarm once you receive your watch. Learned a lot very quickly.

I did the research and sent my sister the info on getting one of their units. My sister called and was told that the price online was only for landlines...not cell phones. Nowhere on their website did it mention this. I called them and the rep said I had to hit the "order now" button in order to see the wireless price. This, in my humble opinion, is classic BAIT & SWITCH. Why would I hit "order now" just to see if there were hidden charges. I told my sister to cancel the order and we set her up with MobileHelp.

Tonight we had a momentary power outage
Tonight we had a momentary power outage. The Bay Alarm Medical device went into alarm mode -- blasting out a telephone busy signal at a volume that was painful. I could not figure out how to reset it -- and I am a reasonably technically competent person. I finally had to unplug everything, leaving me in peace and quiet but without their protection. Nobody from Bay Alarm Medical called me. This is the second time this has happened. I don't see what I am paying these people for. I recommend that you do not do business with these people. I have two lines of protection -- one for my mom and one for my wife. I'm going to cancel both and find someone better.

What a nightmare
What a nightmare. I purchased the landline model. It did not work, so they said I would have to call to get the cellular for $10 more a month. I then called and was surprised to be sent into a voice mail box. Left a message no call back. I then got another number and each time I called was transferred into oblivion and hung up on, 4 x. I finally told some lone this needed to be handled and no more transfers. She said that's all she could do? I then said well I need to canxl and make sure I have not been charged. She told me I had to call the number where I can never get through. She was nice and apologized, the supervisor was to busy to talk to me I was told. So I please need help from someone so I can get out of this and not be billed every month. This is not good.

Our service was cancelled within two days of receiving it on 4/5 (The machinery was JUNK) and it was almost impossible to make contact with them to get the return authorization number. We finally got it, returned it on 4/7021. They received it 4/12 (Have proof of receiving it) and there have been two billing cycles on my credit card and no credit. They claim to be the number 1 rated system for the product, but as you can tell from the reviews---SOMMEONE isn't real HONEST or their ratings would be much higher. We have been calling their phone numbers and you can reach SOCIAL SECURITY easier on the phone. I would suggest that you select a more reliable service. May I suggest Phillips LIFELINE.

Got a "low battery" notification, which is a great tool. My mother is using the equipment, so this is a great way for me to monitor the status of the battery from *** miles away. However when she initially called, she was told her necklace needed replacing as it was a low battery. We have only had the service for 9 months and I was told it would last 2-3 years. I called back and the next person retested all the equipment remotely with the help of my mother. We were told that all the equipment was fine (necklace, base station and Help buttons). The low battery signal may have triggered due to a power failure. (Very possible). So we got two different results from seemingly the same test, which is concerning. Other than that, and the slight wait time for assistance, the service was good and the conversation was understandable and concise.
Poor customer service!
Poor customer service! I had several calls with supervisors etc for the past 24 hours with no call back or resolution of the issue. This medical alarm company's function is to receive medical alerts, notify EMS and family after calling the home to make sure it was not a false alarm. Somehow yesterday, fire dept and ambulance was dispatched to my father's home. No one called his cell, home phone or either family member on the account. I now find out that there were NO contact phone numbers or the lock box code on file with the Alarm company. We have had this account for a year with calls to us being made in the past. So somehow all our records were wiped clean with no way to contact us. So the fire dept went out, could not get in the lock box and did not break in the house. My father could have been unconscious or dead and we would not have know, and the EMS would not have ever tried to help him if it was needed. I would not recommend this company for your elderly parent!
I cancelled my service as i no longer need it
I cancelled my service as i no longer need it. They told me how to return the equipment which i attempted to do the following week despite the health risk to myself. I am disabled with Parkinson's and i do have difficulty but i try to be independent. I had difficulty in returning the package so i brought it back home and got someone else to return to for me which worked out fine but was not able to do this for a couple of weeks. It also cost me $20.00. I called when i did not get a refund and was told they received it outside of the designated time frame. When the situation was explained including being in the surge of the pandemic i was basically told "per agreement no refund" I was also told that if i could get "proof" from UPS that i tried to return the package they could consider it. What are they asking for ? A note about a transaction that did not happen!. I am a disabled senior trying to manipulate the best i can life circumstances during this very difficult time in an out of control pandemic in Texas. I find the consideration i was shown reprehensible. This is a business that touts its care for the disabled and elderly so i leave it here for you to judge that for yourself. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

We signed up with Bay Medical for my elderly mom. This last call to customer service was amazing. They had gotten a few things wrong and I had tried to correct them twice in the past but was unsuccessful. I had to call them again and this time the customer service rep got everything straightened out and was fantastic. He went above and beyond and I really appreciate all of his help.
