Nice guy knocked on my door and told me I had shingles missing
Nice guy knocked on my door and told me I had shingles missing. I'm too old to climb up on my roof and look, so he offered a free inspection and informed me of the damages done to my roof from this past storm. Just got my insurance check and look forward to them completing my new roof here soon.

They came out quick and beat the upcoming rain for me. No more nasty leaking skylight problem. Thank you!
Absolutely great! Super nice, professional and has been easy to work with. Explained everything clearly and thoroughly. Worked with me to get the best value. Thank you Noah. ***.
Bay to Bay is a company I trust
Bay to Bay is a company I trust. Never have I had a contractor work so hard to help me through the insurance process. After the damagw I thought my home would never be the same. They worked together with my insurance company and helped me make my home more beautiful than I could have imagined. I would recommend them to any of my friends.
Very pleased with my new roof. Very happy. Thank you.
I am extremely pleased with my new roof. I'd be remiss if I didn't give a huge thank you to Corey. He's amazing! I can't tell you how much I appreciate everything he did for me. He truly went the extra mile to get my insurance adjuster to FINALLY acknowledge the extensive damage to my roof and I am extremely grateful.
Overall, I am pleased with the work they did on my newly purchased home. They were not bottom dollar nor were they the highest quote we received. The team went above and beyond on showing up right on time and beginning work right away. I ended up leaving for work for the day, so it was nice to see that it was finished upon my return and they left our yard and landscape in good shape.
Efficient and hard working crew. Tore off, shingled, and cleaned up in less than 10 hrs. Thank you Bay to Bay.
They were quick to come out and look over the damage that had occurs due to a tree branch busting off one of the trees in my backyard
They were quick to come out and look over the damage that had occurs due to a tree branch busting off one of the trees in my backyard. The young guy who was out hopped up on my steep roof with no fear and made his recommendations on how to repair that area of fascia, sofit, and roof section. It took about a week for the two man crew to come out and knock out the repair, but it was done relatively fast provided all they needed to do.

Very pleased with the prompt and courteous service! Bay to Bay did a great job with keeping me informed with dates and times for everything.
Everything about the BAY TO BAY Roofing experience was excellent from CODY to the roofing crew,
THANX
No stars, bay to bay got the roof on. In the process of putting it on, they were slamming down the packs of shingles and broke rafters in my roof. My roof now sags on two sides of the house. We have tried to resolve this amicably but to no avail. They have come up with false excuses as to why it sags and all are invalid. When installing the roof one of the workers put their foot through the ceiling sheetrock, so I have a hole in the ceiling. They are not fixing that either. So beware of them if you expect damage, they will not take responsibility. This should have been resolved months ago.
I worked with bay to bay after I had really bad ice damming on my home over this past winter
I worked with bay to bay after I had really bad ice damming on my home over this past winter. They were the least expensive of the options I entertained to get quotes from. Within signing an agreement I had a great financing option through them and was able to get my new roof on within days. Most places were weeks out. These people know how to make you feel like a priority not just a project. Some of the crew members weren't that bad on the eyes either just saying ladies.

Had a small hole and soft spot in my duplex's roof
Had a small hole and soft spot in my duplex's roof. My insurance adjustor stated there was not enough evidence of damage to cover the whole roof. Bay to Bay went to bat for me against them and got my whole roof covered. They worked with me and FOR me making sure they did not disturb my tenants in the unit will completing the project. When speaking with my tenants afterwards they stated they didn't really find any trash or needed to clean up anything. I was really impressed with how quick it got done once they have the insurance paperwork. They made it effortless to get the new roof done.
I didn't even want to give them 1 star
I didn't even want to give them 1 star. I have a long drawn out story that has been going on for month just suffice it to say DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They make promises talk a good talk but that is all it is and then everyone you deal with magically leaves the company so you have to deal with someone else and then they leave. Make sure everything is in writing before you sign ANYTHING. No matter how nice and trustworthy the sales person appears. Again long story just don't use them. We will never get what was promised us and they know how to wrangle out of it even if it is written down.

I had a huge tree limb fall on my roof this past summer
I had a huge tree limb fall on my roof this past summer. While I have homeowners insurance I?m not very familiar with how making a claim goes, but knew that calling roofing companies was where to start. Bay to Bay sent out a young guy to take a look at the damage. Best thing about it, he wasn?t high pressured with making the sale, explained how an insurance claim works, asked for my patience with delays they knew they would run into with Covid and the shutdowns and essentially handled the claim from A to Z for me. It took a huge weight off our shoulders. Easy to recommend them to my friends and family looking for roof repairs.

Strongly recommend Bay To Bay Building Concepts www
Strongly recommend Bay To Bay Building Concepts www.baytobaybuildingconcepts.com your next project. We had an ice dam back in February. Bay To Bay was one of five roofing companies to come out and bid this job. From the initial inspection and estimate we knew that Bay To Bay were the company to go with. We had to have a complete tear off, deck replacement and shingles replaced. Corey took the time to answer all our questions, gave us exact detail of the work that was to be done, and rearranged their schedule to be sure to be on site at the time of the insurance adjusters arrival to walk the roof with the adjuster to point out the problems we had on our roof.

Signed a contract with Bay to Bay for a new roof on Oct 6, 2020
Signed a contract with Bay to Bay for a new roof on Oct 6, 2020. Paid them half of the amount owed. They were going to begin Oct 28th, no show, new date Oct 30th, again no show another date was set Nov 2nd, again no show or phone call. On the 2nd I called Bay to Bay at 11:31 A.M asking where the roofers were. They didn't know. I then said I wanted my monies back and the ( new ) shingles removed from my roof. Received a call back at 12:09 P.M ( Nov.2nd) they left a voice mail. I called them back. The salesman who I met got on the phone with me and TOLD me the roofers would be at my home on the 3rd in the A.M. He would make sure they were here. I receive a call from this business at 8:27 A.M on the 3rd, the roofers had to finish a job; but would be at my home early afternoon. It is now going on 4:00 P.M and no roofers. I want my monies back and the new singles removed from my roof.

After going to the home show in January we signed a contract with Bay to Bay to have our house resided
After going to the home show in January we signed a contract with Bay to Bay to have our house resided. They told us it was a 2-3 week project. We choose Bay to Bay because they promote the company as being family owned with the owner making sure everyone is 100% satisfied. BIG MISTAKE on our part. The 2-3 week project turned into a 6 month nightmare. Once we put half down we became very unimportant to them. They misplaced the deposit causing a 5 week delay. COVID caused further delays. When material was finally dropped off in May we were still told 2- 3 weeks. We had told them multiple times the project had to be completed before July 18 for our daughters wedding which now was going to be in our back yard. They assured us every time that would not be a problem. Once the crew started they would show up around 10 am and leave around 3 with an hour lunch. Work maybe 2-3 days a week. We called often to question the progress. Nothing changed. As we hit July and it was obvious the house would not be done unless something changed so we called almost daily. We were told crews would work weekends..did not happen. Additional crews would be sent...did not happen. In addition to the lack of progress the quality of the work was horrible(many photos available). Within a week siding was buckling and drooping on my dormer. Gaps between the siding were visible. They took the screen door off and when reinstalled it would not close. During this process the crews damaged my motion lights and put significant dents in my gutters from their ladders. When i mentioned this to Bay to Bay i expected they would help with the cost but heard nothing. Finally in October, house still not done, i called to talk to the owner. He was not in. I documented my concerns in a letter with photos and we drove to their office the next day to talk to the owner. He was not available again so we left the letter fully expecting to get a return call. Did not happen. To top it off we were invoiced for the second half of the payment before the project was completed. We refused to pay until it was complete and we requested someone from BAY to BAY to come out and review the project with us as promised in the beginning. That also did not happen. When siding was finally completed in November i waited two weeks to see if they would come pick up their trash from my turnaround. They did not so i called. They came the next day to pick everything up but left a 10 foot pallet in my driveway for me to discard. During this ordeal they showed time and time again how little they value the customer. We were very unsatisfied with this entire project and when no one came out to review the project at the end as promised and requested we just paid the second half so we could cut our losses and move on.

Hello everyone that will read this, first things first, I'm out of the otsego area and we had a hail storm come through our area around April
Hello everyone that will read this, first things first, I'm out of the otsego area and we had a hail storm come through our area around April. We saw multiple shingle homes being done in our neighborhood from bay to bay and they looked good. I ended up contacting bay to bay in July, they came out gave me an estimate for a shingle roof but i ask if they could give me a metal roof instead and so they gave me an estimate for a metal one. I got shingle on my garage which turned out good. We came to an agreement on two windows to be replaced a metal roof and gutters around my house I signed the contract on July 31 with a deposit of 9580 and for the next few weeks and months they had very little contact with me. I called them to find out when they would be starting the job and they were just pushing me aside, well by November I went to their office to ask for my money back. when I inquired about my house being started they just kept giving excuses so they just kept insuring me that they will get it done to my satisfaction. I just ended up saying I just want my roof done so I removed the windows and gutters from the quote then they showed up on November 16 everything was going fine then we ran into a situation on the back part of my home I have a stone house so I knew they might have an issue with attaching the roof in this area I had spoke with the people working on my home before they even started the work and told them I had an idea for that particular situation and should informed me when they had gotten to that point. Well he didn't and later that day I get a call from*** saying that I have to pay an extra 2500 for them to attach it correctly according to warranty, which would have involved concrete work. So I just asked if I could speak with the people actually doing the work to my home and he replied saying it doesn't matter what his worker says I make the calls I just replied again I just want a five minute Conversation with them in the morning so*** ended the call. I thought I would be having a conversation with them in the morning but later that evening I received another call from bay to bay, It was from *** the owner and he starts yelling and using profanity and telling me I have to pay the extra money or they won't come back to my home to finish. Well I ended up hanging up the phone because I just couldn't believe that I was being treated with such disrespect. Right after*** calls my phone back to apologize for *** behavior and told me a representative from bay to bay will be at my house the next morning with the people working on my home. So the next morning went fine I had a five minute conversation with the workers the situation was resolved which included metal to cover the stone instead of concrete. No additional cost was added due to owners behavior towards me, the work continued during the first few weeks in December. They were saying they were done with my home I got up on my roof and took photos of some concerning areas and I was asking about snow guards because they never addressed it, knowing I would be having gutters on my house and snow will potentially damage and or rip off gutters. So I had to wait til they installed the guards for it to be finished. In the meantime while I was at work and my wife was home there was an individual who showed up at my home asking for final payment without any sort of documentation who we have never met before. He did clarify there would be repercussions that day if the payment wasn't submitted. You see to me I feel that they tried to take advantage of a situation when I wasn't present. I just told my wife that I would handle it so I called their office on my work break to either speak with*** or the sales rep I had dealt with. I get an office lady and she wants me to speak with the owner, I stated I didn't want to do that due to our previous altercation and just like before he proceeded to yell at me demanding I pay and also threatening to place a lean on my home without the project being completed and a final walk around with signed documentation by myself and a representative from bay to bay. I'm trying to tell him the job isn't complete but he didn't care to listen so I hung up the phone again I decided to contact the sales rep I have been working with. He got it settled again so now I'm just an unsatisfied customer so through all of this I had contacted a professional code inspector to ask about some spots on my roof, I sent him some photos via email and he responded that the work was done incorrectly and that water would be going into my home. Well since we've had rain and snow I could see that one of my roof panels was being raised, I had other roof contractors come and inspect the work and they found other things wrong, one also informed me that one of the boots around my roof vent was done incorrectly and I should go look inside my crawl space and when I looked, come to fine out not just water being in there they threw some garbage in there too. Needless to say this has just been a terrible experience for me and my family I thought I wanted them to finish the job but the more I dealt with this company the worse it got. So*** ended up coming out to my home for a final inspection and couldn't point out any of the problems also stating that everything looks fine. He changed direction when I told him what the professional code inspector saw and other roofing contractors found right away. He stated that he wanted the previous people who had done the poor quality work on my home to come back and redo it as well make a judgement call about the leaking in my crawl space. Well to me this doesn't seem to be the right Avenue when everyone from the company has stated my leaking roof looks fine. I ended up telling them the next day that I didn't want them to finish my roof due to the fact that I was majorly concerned about the quality of work they have been providing, so since as of right now January 12 my roof is leaking. I told*** that whatever is left over from the other company for the repairs they will get that amount. I've documented the entire project through photos, text messages, recorded phone calls, and recorded conversations on my property. I hope no one will ever have to deal with the same situation I've dealt with.

Siding/roofing
We contracted with Bay to Bay on May 23, 2022 after being contacted by Mr. Saeman, owner of Bay to Bay Building Concepts, LLC. He promised to have everything back to new by June. They finally got a roof put on the home in late July and proceeded to charge us double what it should have cost and what they quoted for the home roof AND metal shed roof! We got the line items and invoice from our insurance company and noted that several of the line charges were for items never done and material never put on our home. We do not have any downspouts or gutters, which we were charged for, We were double billed on dumpster also and they did not reset our dish satellite... we paid Dish to come and reset it as it was left hanging off the roof along with a lot of garbage from the workers that were here a total of 9 hours! So many unanswered calls, texts, emails, etc... they do not call you back at all. We asked Elizabeth for an invoice since we never received one... it has not been sent in almost a year. Our insurance company thinks that this company never intended for us to see the false line items that were tacked on to the inflated invoice. Our home is barely 1100 sq ft ranch and we had three other estimates done... none of these three were over $9,000.000. Bay to Bay wants almost $21,000.00! Our insurance agreed to an amount of almost $13,000.00 and we were okay with that even though the roof was not worth that amount for what was done, they still refuse to return the balance of our deposit of almost $19,000.00. We just wanted our $6,000.00 for the purchase of siding returned after they cancelled our contract. We did not want it cancelled and I have an email proving this.
After calling to see when the siding would be done, they screamed at me, cancelled the contract and all communication with them was blocked. We tried for several months to work this out and had our insurance try to work with them with no response or resolution to our refund of money.
We have won a final judgement in small claims but they have refused to pay and missed every hearing and ignored subpoena and certified mail. Collecting will be on us as the court does not help with this at all.
We just want our deposit for the siding returned and court fees which continue to mount trying to get them to comply with the court.
Desired outcome: Payment of Courts final judgement as ordered.
On June 16 gave them $3000
On June 16 gave them $3000. down to repair roof. Was told they were 2 weeks out. It is now July 14 and no communication from this company. Have called many times and left messages with no return calls from them. They have been told we want a refund if they don't return our call today and still nothing.

Roof and not done up to code
Roof and not done up to code. They have not done the siding and windows which was in the quote and are keeping the insurance money without finishing. Terrible workmanship and always given a run around about everything. Roof is not up to code. The job is not complete and they are keeping the insurance money without doing the siding and windows. Will not return calls. Hung up on me when I called to try to talk to someone there.

Charging me a cancelation fee of $2490.00
Charging me a cancelation fee of $2490.00. Did not even know what they would charge me for a new roof until over a month later. Corey G had me sign a paper with three days to to cancel on Sept. 1, 2020. I cancelled the 2nd day for them to do my roof. He did not want to let me go. He wrote on the paper that I don't owe them anything unless approved 100 per cent by my insurance co., ***. I did not know what they would charge me for a new roof until Oct. 7,2020. I found someone else by then. Then they send me a cancelation fee of $2490.00. Not right. I feel they are trying to take advantage of the elderly. I also checked with my insurance adjuster and they never received an estimate from this company. So how can they charge me anything.

I contacted bay to bay in 2019 to give an estimated for roofing and siding issues due to hail storm
I contacted bay to bay in 2019 to give an estimated for roofing and siding issues due to hail storm. so I did signed a contract giving then the job. it took quite some time before they fix the roof and because I was constantly calling. one of my neighbors got his roof done within weeks . another one definitely did not get his job done. However my roof was replaced 6 months after the contract was signed. the siding had to wait until march . And it was done because once again I was calling constantly. They not just over charged and charged for items that where on the job contract and were never replaced as promised. In addition, after the siding was installed, 6 weeks later pieces of siding started to fall down. I contacted bay to bay and they came and sort of fix it. last Sunday I founded that the siding is bowing and more pieces are coming apart and falling on the ground. I contacted bay to bay again sent pictures. and call them. And i do not have any answer from them.

On 09 November , I discussed roof replacement with two sales representatives
On 09 November , I discussed roof replacement with two sales representatives. I mentioned a rental property needing a new roof, promising them more work if satisfied. A contract was signed for a high-quality shingle, black, with a $1,000 credit promised. I paid a $3,850 deposit. On 02 December, I chose Georgetown black shingles. On 11 January 2022, I was asked for the remaining $3,850 despite the promised credit. After a call to the company, I paid, only to find lower quality shingles used. The general manager insulted me when I inquired about the discrepancy. The owner's spouse delayed refunding me for over a month and finally refused because I decided not to hire them again. The contract specifics were ignored, questioning its value.

Owner of roofing company is threatening to sue for nonpayment of roof replacement
Owner of roofing company is threatening to sue for nonpayment of roof replacement. He did not replace our roof and did not send a bill. April 0f 2020 *** experienced a severe hailstorm. Many homes suffered damaged roofs and siding. ***, our insurance carrier, stated our town was classified as a disaster area. ALL of neighbors were getting roofs replaced. In May I called a roofing contractor named Bay to Bay to inspect our roof. Jerold came, inspected it and we signed a contract with him to file a claim for us with *** with the info regarding damage to get a full roof replacement and he would get the job. He stated he did NOT do repairs, only full replacements and if he could not get *** to agree to a new roof, we would owe nothing. This was the contract we signed. We did not receive an estimate. He submitted an estimate with *** and argued with *** several times. *** sent an inspector twice. A claims person at *** told me, after dealing with him, "You do not want to get involved with insurance fraud" and their final determination was the house did not require a new roof. They did however determine the garage needed a new roof and deposited money into my checking acct to pay for it. I texted Jerold and told him he could reroof the garage. He did not respond, did not reroof. He told me he had 160 houses to reroof so I figured he was too busy to do a small garage and would eventually contact me. I did not hear from him until yesterday when I received a letter stating he was going to sue me for nonpayment. I texted him about it and he argued with me that I owed him money and he wanted to come over and get a check. We never received a bill because he did not complete any roofing. So, I have no idea how much he wants. He did not tell me. We did not receive the $27,000.00 estimate that he submitted to ***. They said the house did NOT need a new roof and even if it did, it should only cost about $14,000.00. They said he was overpricing and had also submitted a FALSE surcharge of several thousand dollars stating he was working with other contractors and it was not true. Jerold told me he had to make some changes to his estimate and resubmit to ***. We never saw that estimate. He threatened me one other time, when I told him I also felt he was overpriced, he would sue me if I said anything bad about him. I did not know what he was referring to... He is bullying me with threats.

Insurance claim hail storm repair roof siding and windows
Insurance claim hail storm repair roof siding and windows . I'm unsatisfied because job is not complete. The Co. claiming is complete final payment I would like to start this by saying I have several complaints. After being referred to by my insurance company bay to bay builders replace my roof from the bad hail storm in March last year. They did the roof but left openings where bats got into my attic. So I contacted the wild life removal co. They did there inspection and said they were getting in at three locations. They recommended sealing the two for now because the were hibernating over the winter and when spring came they would repair the final opening and clean the feces up.The company gave me the estimate of $1300 . I emediatly called bay to bay to let them know about the cost to rid these rodents from my attic. They did nothing about it yet . I'm still hearing disturbing sounds in my attic at night. Secondly the original plan was to side the whole front face of the house and replace portions on other sides with good one left from the front. Installer said he couldn't use them because it was too old and he couldn't cut it with out it damaging the piece So before the job even got started I contacted Bay to Bay to let them know about a change I decided on. I purchased myself some fake brick siding . I let them install it. It was approximately four feet from ground all the way across the house. There was a couple of extra pieces of the original siding .The installer took those pieces and replaced the damaged areas on the remaining sides. The color shades do no match at all. The installer told me they are never going to match to do the whole side in the future. So I'm not satisfied with the siding job. Front of house looks great but sides don't match. Lastly they were supposed to replace two windows that were damaged. Call the on several occasions about the broken window I went the whole winter with a broken . I feel they owe a portion of my heating bill. Finally some time in March this year two windows was delivered the installer couldn't put them in because they were the wrong windows . So after all the dissatisfaction with the company I decided to get another company to replace them instead..Bay to Bay is asking for final payment insurance co made the payments but work still not complete window cost for other company was $750.00 I feel bay to bay owes that amount to back to me because they couldn't do the job in a timely matter. No I just got a email titled final payment and they the windows were not apart of the contract. The windows were a part of contract. They came to get the windows they wrongly ordered and that was the last I heard from til this recent email. So in conclusion I feel bay to bay owes me the amount of siding that was not used for the changes that was done on the front of house. They owe me for the windows repair. And they owe me for getting these rodents from my attic.

poor workmanship
poor workmanship. misrepresentation of the work they would provide. Inability to get any resolution or completion on their work. In August *** was hit by a ***. One of my properties located at *** was affected by the storm and suffered roof, chimney and siding damage. I contacted Bay to Bay Building Concepts, as they represented themselves as a local company. Their representative *** R (***) and another individual from their company came out on 2 occasions to provide an estimate and then to agree to the work. They took a check for $5483.62 as a deposit to do the repairs, which included removal of what was left of the chimney and replace it with a vent pipe, re-roof the house and replace any damaged sheeting, as well as outside trim around the roof (wood an metal), replace the gutters and the siding that they needed to remove to install the flashing. They had a poor quality roofer replace the roof. They shingled over the damaged areas, leaving visible evidence that the sheeting was not replaced, there is still a hole in the side of the roof and put in bent metal edging, and that was all. when I complained, they sent out an individual named *** (driving one of their company vehicles) on 3/18. He looked around the house, sent pictures to someone in the company and told me that he would have someone there the next day to scope in the issues and repair the damages. that never happened. I called again and spoke with *** R, who was one of the original representatives that came out for the initial estimates. He told me that he and the other person that came out initially had quit the company because the company was not living up to their promises to customers and he did not want to deal with them any longer. I contacted Zeppi (***) who is supposedly in charge. he promised to have someone out immediately to take care of things. He also told me that even though *** R said that they would complete all of the repairs agreed to, they were not licensed to do the chimney repair and that he could not find anyone to replace the gutters before October or November . He then put me in touch with *** (***) who promised on at least 5 calls to take care of the issues and refund he money that they took for the repairs that they did not do and for the chimney removal. while he initially sounded sincere, he failed to deliver as well. At this point I have no confidence in this company. The office that they have in ***, in my opinion is a shell so that they can claim a presence in ***, which is deceiving, as according to ***, there are no actual Bay to Bay staff here, other than possibly an admin or receptionist. Their trucks all have their "local phone number" and they run advertisements on the local TV channels stating their quality/local service. There is no integrity coming from Bay to Bay. They, like may other deceptive companies came into our town and took advantage of the situation.

Hats off to this company for responding quickly and professionally to our request to repair a leaking roof. Installation went off without a hiccup. No more leak and the shingles actually match! Highly recommend them.
