I had a terrible experience with BeautyCounter
I had a terrible experience with BeautyCounter. They tried to pull a sneaky move by faking an order just to get into my account. It's a total scam!
Don't buy from this sketchy MLM
Don't buy from this sketchy MLM. They'll jump through hoops to take your money.
This company is really bad
This company is really bad. They say they give discounts, but they send the wrong stuff and their service is awful. And when you try to use the coupon, it doesn't even work. They act like they forgot about it. Plus, their products aren't even natural. They're lying about who they are.
Buyer beware!
Buyer beware! I spent hundreds of dollars at BeautyCounter cuz I was promised promocodes by an associate, and the one they gave me was fake. When I emailed *** about this, they chose not to resolve the issue. I'm so excited to never use this company again.
Don't even bother tryin' to contact this company
Don't even bother tryin' to contact this company. There's a recordin', and ya can't leave a message. Also, after ya've placed an order BC won't allow ya to go back 'n modify yer order. Ya gotta either place 'nother order, or send the products back for a refund. I'll never order from this company again. I'm 64 years old, 'n have never written a review 'gainst a company 'til now, but I wanted others to know how they operate. They also use ingredients in their products like talc, 'n other ingredients that irritate sensitive skin. Buyer beware.
If I could leave less than one star, I would
If I could leave less than one star, I would. The night cream I bought for $68 was the worst. Then my account got hacked and someone charged over $364. I called and the girl who answered took my info and said I'd get my money in 2-3 biz days. I called back the next day to check if it was filed. Another girl assured me it'd only take 2-3 biz days. Still not in my account today, 4 days later. I call back again and now another girl says it's not true about the 2-3 biz days. It won't be refunded until the next billing cycle, but she doesn't know when that is. I ask to talk to someone in the fraud dept, but she can't connect me to a human. I had to do a fraud claim with my bank.
I spent over $200 on BeautyCounter products
I spent over $200 on BeautyCounter products. I didn't try using them until after 60 days because I wanted to finish using my old skincare products at home first. I used the Rejuvenating Face Cleanser, the Rejuvenating Radiance Serum, the Rejuvenating Day Cream, and the Rejuvenating Eye Cream for two consecutive days. After that, my face and neck broke out in a red, dry, and itchy rash. I called BeautyCounter to ask for a refund, but they refused to compensate me for the $200+ I spent because it was beyond the 60-day limit. The person who hosted the party didn't mention this deadline when I made the purchase. I even told her that I wouldn't be using the products right away, so how was I supposed to know? I'm really upset that *** didn't say anything more than 'Sorry.' On top of that, the products have a really unpleasant smell! I will never buy from this company again and I won't recommend their products to anyone.
Be careful when dealing with shady *** and their questionable business practices
Be careful when dealing with shady *** and their questionable business practices. This company is the worst *** I've ever encountered. I won't be making any future purchases from them. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone. I've called on three different occasions and each time I had to wait for over an hour, despite the automated message claiming a wait time of only 4 minutes. Today, I had to endure a recording for more than 30 minutes. They claim you can press "1" for a call-back, but nothing happens when you do. As for their email address, which promises a reply within 24-48 hours, I've waited for days and days without receiving any response. It's as if my message disappeared into thin air after I sent it along with my returned order for a refund. Luckily, I had a tracking number and confirmation of delivery for my return, because when I finally managed to speak to a human after weeks of trying, they couldn't find any record of my return being received. Only when I provided my USPS tracking number did they "miraculously" locate my return and issue a refund. It took a total of two months from the date of my original order to complete this return process. When I questioned why none of this was automated or part of their system, their response was simply, "it must have slipped through the cracks."

I bought stuff from BeautyCounter, didn't like it, and sent it back like they told me to in February
I bought stuff from BeautyCounter, didn't like it, and sent it back like they told me to in February. But I still haven't got my money back. I'm super bummed about this.
I got both items messed up
I got both items messed up. Beautycounter told me I could get a refund only if I sent back the items, but I've written them 5 times now telling them the bottles were empty 'cause they leaked. Now nobody will answer my emails or call me back. Product or Service: beauty.
Poor Customer Service I emailed the company about a reaction I had to one of their products
Poor Customer Service I emailed the company about a reaction I had to one of their products. They emailed back and said to reply with photos. So I did. I got no response back as I wanted to return the product since it clearly did not work for me. This company has very poor customer service and the products are not worth the price. I wish I had a better experience if the customer service was better, but I will not be purchasing from or recommending this brand.

I sent back stuff like they told me to, but it's been like forever and I still haven't gotten my money back or heard anything from them
I sent back stuff like they told me to, but it's been like forever and I still haven't gotten my money back or heard anything from them. I sent the package on September 27th, and according to the USPS tracking number XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, the company got it on September 30th. It's been more than 10 business days since then, so I emailed them on October 16th and October 24th to ask what's up, but they haven't replied to either email.
This is the 2nd time in 10 months that I've been charged for fraudulent claims by BC
This is the 2nd time in 10 months that I've been charged for fraudulent claims by BC. The first incident happened in September , and the most recent one occurred on June 26. They charged me a whopping $674.05 this time. BC won't let me talk to anyone in the fraud department, and they keep promising to email me, but they never do. They say they can't provide any information because I'm not a member or don't have an account with them. It's the 2nd time I've had to change my debit card within a year because of this same company.
I got a notification on September 28th saying that my order worth of products was shipped, but I still haven't received it
I got a notification on September 28th saying that my order worth of products was shipped, but I still haven't received it. They promised it would arrive by October 16th. The package with my beauty products has been in transit since September 28th, and there haven't been any updates. I reached out to my sales representative and customer support on October 8th, and they told me that I should have received it by October 16th. If not, I was told to contact them again. Well, it's now October 16th, and there's still no sign of my package. I emailed support once more and spoke with someone named *** D, and now they're saying it will take 21 days instead of the previous promised date of October 16th. It's clear that the package hasn't been shipped, but they refuse to give me a refund.
I bought 4 things from this company
I bought 4 things from this company. Two of them didn't come and one, the gel toner, was messed up 'cause it wasn't sealed and spilled in the box. They gave me some money back for the two missing things, some in credits and some in real money. They didn't give me any money back for the messed up thing. I want my money back in real money 'cause I spent 110 bucks of my own money and 37 in credits - most of it was real money, so give me my money back. You should've also given me a refund for the messed up thing. I don't wanna buy from this company anymore 'cause they don't take my requests seriously - they just ignore 'em. I want my money back in real money and also a refund for the messed up thing.
I ordered from BeautyCounter on 4/27 using their app 'cause the website didn't work
I ordered from BeautyCounter on 4/27 using their app 'cause the website didn't work. But, even though I updated my shipping address, the app still used my old one. I called them right away and after waiting for 15 minutes, I finally talked to someone. I asked them to change the address, but they said they couldn't. They also wouldn't cancel the order. When I asked how we could fix it, they offered me a 20% discount on my next order, but no refund. I told them that wasn't fair 'cause I lost $50 'cause of their app's mistake. I changed my address before and got other orders there, so it's not my fault. But they said it's their policy and they can't do anything. I want a full refund of $51.79.
On May 2nd, me and my wife decided to buy some cosmetics from BeautyCounter
On May 2nd, me and my wife decided to buy some cosmetics from BeautyCounter. We spent a whopping $794 on her order. Right after, she got an email confirming the purchase. But then, things got a bit annoying. She started receiving texts every day, trying to get her to buy more stuff. It was getting on our nerves, to be honest.
After a whole week passed, we still hadn't heard anything about her order. No updates, no messages, nothing from BeautyCounter. So, she decided to call their customer service. Guess what? They told her there was a problem with her order, but refused to say what the problem actually was. They promised to look into it and call us back. But guess what? Two days went by and we heard absolutely nothing.
Frustrated, I called them back on Wednesday, May 12th. And guess what they told me? They said our order had been marked as fraudulent and canceled. Can you believe it? They never even bothered to inform us about it. They confirmed the order, took our hard-earned $800, and left us hanging. It's just not right.
I've been trying to sort this out with their customer service department, but it's been a complete waste of time. I've spent a total of 45 minutes on the phone with their customer service representatives, and it's gotten me nowhere. All we want is our money back, plain and simple. But so far, we haven't seen a single penny returned to us. It's incredibly frustrating.
We just want a refund, that's all.
I've been having some trouble with Beautycounter
I've been having some trouble with Beautycounter. In August , I ordered Beautycounter's Dew Skin moisturizer. I was still working on another tube so I put the box under the sink until I was finished with the current one. I inspected it to make sure it was the right color and there were no leaks. Of course, I didn't try using the pump because I wanted the makeup to be fresh. Well, when I had finished the other tube (lasted till November ), I tried the pump on the new tube and it was broken. I tried pumping with the nozzle and holding it at different angles. The cap won't even twist off. I emailed customer service and they said nothing could be done because it was past the 60 day return window mark. I don't understand why a company that charges $45 for a tube of moisturizer and whose consultants advertise Beautycounter's sales as "time to stock up" won't send me a replacement cap or tube. I also found out that when you renew your Band of Beauty (BOB) membership you get a free gift. This is my second year as a BOB member and nowhere was this "free gift" advertised on their website as well as the conditions which applied. I found out from my sister. When I inquired about this, *** said I didn't get a free gift because I let the annual cycle lapse. I've been very disappointed in the care Beautycounter provides their customers recently.
I had a problem with my shipping address when I ordered from BeautyCounter on 12/31
I had a problem with my shipping address when I ordered from BeautyCounter on 12/31. After receiving the confirmation email, I noticed a typo in the apartment number. I tried to fix it, but according to the website's FAQ, changes couldn't be made once an order was placed. I just wanted to correct the typo, not change the item I ordered. I found a way to open a help ticket and did so about 20 minutes after placing the order. About 10 minutes later, I received an automated response saying nothing could be done. I replied immediately, expressing my confusion about why a simple address change couldn't be made. I didn't receive a reply until the evening of 01/03, and was informed that due to "systematic limitations," changes couldn't be made and the order couldn't be canceled. The purchase/order date was 12/31, and the problem was reported on the same day. The order number is ***. The issue is that the shipping/delivery address should have been 51 instead of 52.
I bought two stuff from BeautyCounter's website on ***
I bought two stuff from BeautyCounter's website on ***. Later, I found out they are a ***. I wanted to cancel my order. I bought two stuff from BeautyCounter's website on ***. Shortly after, a friend told me not to buy from this company because they do multilevel marketing. I emailed customer support and called to cancel my order. They said I couldn't cancel my order even though it was still being processed. They told me to wait for the order and send it back as "return to sender". Then, they said they would give me a refund. I never got an email confirmation from the company. But they made sure to charge my card! I don't know if my order has been shipped or is still being processed. Today, ***, I tried to log in to my BeautyCounter account to check when my shipment would arrive. The first time I tried to log in, it said my password was wrong. I wrote down my password in the Notes app on my iPhone to make sure I wouldn't forget, so I knew it wasn't my mistake. When I tried to reset my password, it said there was no account with my email address - which means BeautyCounter deleted my account or locked me out. Even though I still get promo emails from BeautyCounter. I sent another email to the same thread where I tried to cancel my order and I plan to call tomorrow morning, ***. I just want my money back and my order to be canceled. This is ridiculous. On ***, I talked to someone named Ashley on the phone and my email thread is with "*** My order number is XXXXXXXXX. They took a total of *** from my account on ***.
I ordered $315 worth of products from Beautycounter on May 26
I ordered $315 worth of products from Beautycounter on May 26. They took the money from my bank account on May 27. I've been waiting for my purchase for a week now, but my order status still says "processing". I called Beautycounter customer service and they couldn't tell me when my package would be shipped. They mentioned that there was a warehouse move causing the delay. I also reached out to my Beautycounter Representative, but she couldn't provide any clear answers either. Eventually, I was told that my package might be sent out on June 4 or June 5. However, my consultant gave me various excuses for the delay, including warehouse changes, riots, protests, and the company closing down to honor George Floyd. Today, on June 9, I called again, but they still couldn't give me a definite answer. They said it might take another one to two weeks. If that's the case, they shouldn't have taken my money or informed me about the delays beforehand. It's frustrating to see the CEO making videos about the world's status and racism, while customers like me are left in the dark. It's disappointing that they prioritize other things over fulfilling their customers' orders and getting their warehouse back on track. The customer service representatives claim that they've been asking for help but haven't received any response from corporate. They seem just as confused as the customers. They keep telling me that I can return the products if I'm not happy, but that's not the issue. I actually like the products and I just want to receive my package. I even requested for it to be overnighted since they didn't send it out on time, but they said they couldn't do that either. It doesn't make any sense to me. This whole situation feels deceitful and sketchy, and I'm not sure what to do now. I'm extremely disappointed with the entire experience.
Beautycounter ain't been so good at gettin' back to me 'bout my refund
Beautycounter ain't been so good at gettin' back to me 'bout my refund. They got this policy sayin' they'll give ya a full refund within 60 days, so I tried out a bunch of their products. But dang, them products made my face all irritated, so I wanted my money back. I followed their rules and requested the returns on their website and sent 'em back. I had four different returns with a bunch of products. Here's the info on 'em: 1. *** - I actually got a refund for this one. It got delivered on 4/17. 2. *** - got delivered on 4/17 (same day as the first one), but I ain't heard nothin' 'bout a refund yet. It's been more than 10 business days. *** 3. *** - got delivered on 4/24, but still no refund or info 'bout when I'll get it. It's been 6 business days. I ain't too hopeful 'bout this one 'cause of what happened with Order #2. *** 4. *** - got delivered on 4/24, but still no refund or info 'bout when I'll get it. It's been 6 business days. I ain't too hopeful 'bout this one 'cause of what happened with Order #2. *** They did refund the first return, but they gave me some product credit that I don't want 'cause I ain't buyin' no more of their stuff. They also refunded the rest to my original payment method. The second return got delivered on the same day as the first, but I still ain't got my refund. The third and fourth returns got delivered on 4/24, and I ain't heard nothin' 'bout when I'll get my money back. The last time I talked to a representative through email was on 5/1, and she asked me for the tracking numbers, which was kinda disappointin' 'cause they already gave me the authorization and tracking. It's been more than 10 business days for the second return, and 6 business days since the third and fourth returns got delivered, according to the tracking. They ain't respondin' to me, and I ain't callin' 'em 'cause I want everythin' in writin'. I'm real disappointed in their customer service and how they ain't followin' their own policy on their website. I responded to their request and gave 'em all four tracking numbers, but I ain't heard back from 'em since. They got customer service hours on the weekend, but they still ain't helpin' me. They keepin' my refunds hostage, and it's a real slap in the face durin' these tough times. I spent a whole lotta money tryin' their products, hopin' they'd fix my adult skin problems. I want a full refund for all my returns, includin' that Band of Beauty membership they was braggin' 'bout. I never felt so ripped off and disrespected by a company in my whole life as a responsible customer.
