I really wish I had reviewed my options before I decided to go with Berkeley College (no not UC Berkeley). The level of education was ok, I don't think it was the worst and it certainly wasn't the best. Since I took all my classes online the degree of difficutly was a little higher than campus classes. What really aggravates me is the amount of money this school costs (even with grants and scholarships it's kind of ridiculous) and the fact they don't live up to their supposed reputation.
I graduated in March 2010, with honors and worked very hard for each and every quarter I made into the Dean/President's List. I can't seem to find one job in marketing, that's right the little job placement speech they give you is a load of crap. The person at job placement was nice enough but since going there in April, i've not heard one peep from them. I look in their job board and it's literally slim pickings. I'm so dissapointed, especially when my loan payments started coming due. I love marketing and I want to be working in a marketing function but the "Berkeley Advantage" is non-existent in getting you a job.
I can't completely discredit them because I had some really amazing teachers, that were tough but fair. I was also able to study full time and go to work full time. I just wish their name was actually reputable with employers and that with their education I could actually get a good job.
To any potential students, please weigh your options very carefully because there might be local colleges/universtities that are probably more affordable and have a better reputation. Most colleges/universities are now offering more night time and online classes believe it or not many come out to be more affordable than Berkeley. Just do your homework before enrolling in any school!

Euncie, I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with Berkeley College but I definitely disagree. Berkeley College was also perfectly convenient for me, allowing me to attend classes even while working full time. After graduating in 2008, I quickly found a job with the help of the job placement offices. I had a great experience, had wonderful teachers, and met many friends. I highly recommend Berkeley College to anyone interested in continuing their education.
Euncie, I understand your frustrations. Our mission at Berkeley College is to provide our students and alumni with lifetime career assistance helping them with their job search as well as their professional development. We are actually hosting a Virtual Career Fair on February 21st through March 4th. You can find more information about that event here: http://berkeleycollege.edu/hobsons/events/8784/
In an effort to improve our student services I am asking that you please contact the Campus Operating Officer for the Berkeley College Online Campus Ms. Sharon Goldstein at [protected] x6300 or by e-mail sfg@berkeleycollege.edu. I know that she will be more then happy to speak to you about this and work with you moving forward.
You can also contact our Director of Alumni Placement Ms. Amy Soricelli at [protected] x4161 or e-mail alumni-amy@berkeleycollege.edu she will also be able to work with you moving forward.
Eunice, I disagree as well. I have had a great expirence with Berkeley College. I hope you take advantage of the virtual career fair and you find a great job! Good Luck!
I AGREE WITH YOU EUNICE CAUSE THE JOB PLACEMENT AT THE BERKLEY COLLEGE WESTCHESTER CAMPUS DID THE SAME EXACT THING TO MY COUSIN, THEY SPOKE TO HER ONE TIME AND SHE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. I USED TO WORK IN ENROLLMENT SERVICES AT THE WESTCHESTER CAMPUS AND ALL WE DID WAS TELL PEOPLE THAT LOAD OF CRAP! AND IF WE TOLD THE TRUTH ABOUT HOW THEY REALLY ARE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A WRAP FOR US WORKING THERE CAUSE THEY ARE CONSTANTLY MONINTERING OUR CALLS!
