Cruise travel
On april 24, 2023 we booked a cruise with michael higgins with best price cruises for the yacht club. We paid $5,378.08 and then on april 26, 2023 michael higgins said in an email that I will be receiving $650.00 obc from msc and in addition, best price cruises was giving $650 as well. I sent an email to michael higgins to make sure I am getting $650.00 from his company and also msc and he said "yes you are getting obc from our agency and msc". Michael also stated it pays to book with him. My husband and I were expecting what michael told us in the email was correct. We got on board msc seacape and we received $650 obc once. I told the concierge that we were supposed to get $650 x 2 and they said they only see one $650.00 but the computer can't tell who gave it to me. I sent another email to michael higgins who states he was on the phone with msc and they instructed me to go back to the concierge and talk with a supervisor. my husband and I went back to concierge again and they said the travel agent knows what to do. Contact your travel agent again, so we did. Michael higgins then sent us screen shots of the $650.00 and then we go back to concierge to show them the proof. They said that's not proof anyone can do that. At this point we felt like a ping pong ball going back and forth, in addition to exchanging 10 emails. We should not be doing this, we should be enjoying our trip and receiving the obc which was promised $650.00 x 2. On may 1st michael sends us an email saying he was in agreement with me about the $650.00 x 2 but we never received. Michael asked if we showed them proof I said yes but its not good enough. Michael sends email back to us stating best price cruises sent me $650 and my screen shot proves msc owes you $650.00. We sent another email to michael asking who is going to fix this problem. Michael said "again, you need to speak with the concierge or their supervisor or manger. They can see that they owe you obc. In the mean time my husband sends emails to best prices cruises to [protected]@best price cruises.com and also to [protected]@best price cruises.com on may 2nd. they ignored us. On may 2nd michael sends confirmation again that shows msc owes me $650.00 so we go back to concierge and they said this is not good proof. We couldn't believe this was happening on our vacation that we have been so excited about, because this felt like a nightmare. Later on may 2nd michael sent an email and wanted to apologize to us for going back and forth to concierge and now he states he was given the wrong information from msc and he took their word for what it was. We were only getting 650.00 total. I sent another email to michael higgins telling him that we were very unhappy and asked him if his company going to make this right. At this point we could not give them good reviews, but michael higgins ignored my email : (
Desired outcome: Payment of our promised 650.00 credit
Cruise travel agency
Booked an NCL cruise through Best Price Cruises dot com almost a year before the cruise date. Paid the required $250 deposit to NCL through Best Price Cruises. Did the booking and paid my deposit completely through the BPC web site, no agent involved. Not a bad web site, prices were decent--not outstanding, but decent. A little cheaper than booking directly through NCL.
Now 7 months from sail date, we discover a conflict will prevent us from taking this cruise. NCL says "No problem, $250 deposit will be refunded in full." But Best Price Cruises says "Wait a minute, you owe us $100 for cancelling your cruise." To prove their point, BPC processed a new $100 charge to my credit card--"cancellation fee." Email protests have been met with absolutely arrogant responses that essentially say, "Tough luck, sucker--just try to get your $100 back."

Bestpricecruises.com = Bad experience waiting to happen. In my opinion.
I have booked another cruise, but not through BestPriceCruises.com. Booked it through a reputable travel agency this time, customer service has been great, they don't operate out of a "Suite 201" address. Many months until our new cruise, plenty of time to post this on every cruise-related message board I can find.
There is a positive review on Yelp that states BestPriceCruises.com is Better Business Bureau A+ rated. In fact, that is absolutely false. BestPriceCruises.com is not a BBB accredited business. Their rating as of Jan 13 2017 is a C-. That's a fraction of a step away from a D. Which is a small step away from an F. The BBB says that BestPriceCruises.com has had issues including failure to respond to customer complaints, failing to resolve customer complaints, and "advertising issues" found by the BBB.
You can read quite a few complaints about BestPriceCruises.com if you just look them up on the BBB website. Take some time to browse through the complaints, pay special attention to the company responses. Where there are company responses. It will give you a flavor for their approach toward customer service.
I did receive a phone call on January 16, 2017 from a Robert Clark who identified himself as the Sales Manager for BestPriceCruises.com. Mr. Clark threatened me with legal action should I post about my experiences with his company. Mr. Clark, being a bully doesn't work with me. I'm posting. You have a long list of people to pursue legally if your goal is to take action against everyone who has publically complained about your company.
You can also read about BestPriceCruises.com on several other websites. I saw them mentioned on Scambook.com. Just google BestPriceCruises.com complaints. You will have quite a lot of reading to do.
So, Mr. Ronald Russo, Chief Operations Officer, BestPriceCruises.com and Mrs. Sandra Russo, President of BestPriceCruises.com, aka Vacation Superstore Network Inc., your company absolutely failed in serving me, your customer. I won't be back.

Horrible! Wish I read these reviews before booking. Long story short. Ii booked a royal caribbean cruise with them in an inside cabin. After final payment the price dropped for a balcony cabin for $100 more pp. I called bpc wanting to pay to upgrade to an outside cabin. The price I saw was on their website as well as royal caribbean's web site. Bpc refused to allow me to upgrade at the advertised price, stating it was for new booking. After calling royal caribbean directly they stated that the price I saw was available to all including me, it was not only for new bookings. Unfortunately they could not make any changes due to me booking with a travel agent.
After going back and forth with bpc they still would not all ow me to upgrade at the advertised price. I sent an email to royal caribbean's corporate office. By the time someone got back to me the price of the balcony cabin had gone up substantially. Royal caribbean stated that I should have been able to get the advertised price, but since it had gone up there was nothing they could do.

Do yourself a favor and stay away
I am SO sorry that I didn't think to check on Best Prices Cruises before I booked a cruise through them. They sent me my travel itineray via email which the wrong date on it. As a result, it will cost me $500 to change my family's non-refundable airline ticket home. They claim that I should have checked the accuracy of the dates that they sent against the cruise line's confirmation so they refuse to do anything about it. Since when is it the customer's responsibility to verify the accuracy of the dates they receive from their travel agent? Apparently, I am not the only one having issues with them if you check them out on the BBB. Do yourself a favor and stay away!
Refund
I have been waiting for a refund from Best Price Cruses for over 4 months. Best Price Cruises is a travel agency located in Florida and also doing business as Vacation Superstore Network. I purchased a cruise on NCL through Best Price Cruises and requested a refund for a 3rd person in a cabin, which was fully refunded by NCL. It is NCL's policy to send the refund to the travel agency if the booking was made with them. NCl sent the refund to Best Price Cruises over 4 months ago.
I have contacted this company by telephone and email at least 10 times and get the same answer that the check is in the mail.
I encourage travelers to avoid Best Price Cruises as it appears to be a dishonest company. My next actions are to file a complaint with the State of Florida and Virginia Attorney General Office, NCL, and business associations including BBB, IATAN, and CLIA.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
