Block Of Gear Block of Gear offers heartwarming quilts for every taste and occasion!

I absolutely love the quilt I bought from Block of Gear (blockofgear.com)! And quite honestly, I love too many of the quilts and items they offer! I wish they didn't have so many, or I'm gonna be broke from ordering! They have so many that speak to different people's hearts and feelings! Whether you're a Christian who wants to buy a beautiful religious quilt with a saying or scripture on it, a sibling who wants to show love for your sister, a loving husband who wants to show appreciation to his wife, or a nature lover with an admiration for quilts showing lovely pictures of animals, eagles, horses, mountains, and many more!

The quilt I recently bought was of an eagle that had different pictures that I'm planning to hang on the wall; two large eagle pictures I've taken myself will make a beautiful display with them! Block of Gear has many items that will capture your heart and perfectly match your taste! I highly recommend Block of Gear to anyone who wants to buy something that speaks to their heart.

The delivery was super fast, and I got to enjoy my quilt as quickly as possible, thanks to the prompt service of the store! So, folks, all I can say is go for it! Purchase the item you always wanted and liked. Lastly, I pray for the Lord's blessings for you all. May Jesus be your savior forever, and may God's plan of salvation be fulfilled in your life! Block Of Gear Block Of Gear: Dishonest Company with Poor Customer Service - BUYER BEWARE!

I recently made an order for a cozy blanket for my lovely wife as a Christmas gift from Block Of Gear. The process seemed pretty simple and I received a proof of my order via email. However, to my disappointment, the details of the order were incorrect. I was quite upset with this but being a reasonable person, I contacted their support team.

Their support team informed me that it would require an additional ten dollars to rectify their error. I wasn't particularly pleased with their response but agreed to pay the ten dollars. The product finally arrived three weeks after Christmas, taking a total of six weeks for me to get it. To my shock, the error had not been corrected, and they had charged me the additional ten dollars for nothing.

I was quite angry and contacted them again to complain about the situation. They gave me an option to choose between getting my money back or the product resent. I chose to get my money back and requested a return label to send the incorrect product back. Unfortunately, I haven't received any response from them till date.

BUYER BEWARE! I would not recommend doing business with this company at all. They are dishonest and insensitive to their customers' needs. In fact, they required me to prove their mistake with a picture below. For your reference, kindly look at the picture below. They charged me an extra ten dollars to correct their error and never corrected it. I was scammed by this company and I'm sure others were too.

In conclusion, they are a total RIP-OFF Business. Do not make the same mistake I did by dealing with them.

Block Of Gear Mixed Experience with Block Of Gear Quilts: Review

I bought some quilts from Block Of Gear twice now and I gotta say, they're pretty good. The first time, it took about 6 weeks to get to me, which kinda sucked, but I did get all three of my quilts. The Virgin Mary quilts were especially nice, so I ordered three more Virgin Mary Remember quilts as gifts.

When I got my package the second time, there was only one quilt in there, which wasn't what I ordered. They emailed me and said the order was fulfilled, but they were wrong! So I emailed them back and they asked for pictures of the mail packaging that it came in. I sent the pics and then they said they were "investigating." I emailed them again about a week later and they finally said they were fixing the problem and sending me the other two quilts.

It took a lot of emails and a loooong time (like 3 months total) to finally get my stuff, but I did get it eventually. The customer service wasn't super great, though. It would have been nice if they had told me what was happening more often and not made me wait soooo long. Still, I love the quilts I got and they fixed their mistake, so it's not all bad.

Block Of Gear Block of Gear Queen Throw Blanket Review: Cozy but Thin, Shipping Can Take Time

The blanket from Block Of Gear website called my attention and I decided to give it a try. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the product when it arrived. My husband loved the Queen throw 70"x 80" that I bought him, especially being 6'1" it was the perfect size. I ordered it as one of his Christmas gifts on December 10th, being aware that the delivery time could be a bit longer due to Covid and previous reviews. On January 13th, I finally received it, which is quite a while to wait, so keep that in mind if you need it for a certain date. However, the company seems to be American-based, but they receive shipments from overseas, presumably from China.

I was glad to see that the product looks exactly like the pictures on the website, which I must say is often not the case when ordering online. The colors and design of the throw are vibrant and the transfer quality is good. Although I have to admit that the blanket and Sherpa inside are pretty thin, so you should not expect a very high quality thick throw. It is more of a lightweight blanket, but it is very soft and cozy, perfect for snuggling up while watching TV.

The price of $70 seemed a bit too steep for what you get, especially considering the thickness of the blanket and Sherpa. But in the end, the smile on my husband's face when he saw and read it made it all worth the while. He was extremely pleased and proud of his U.S. Coastie throw, and he uses it every night while cozying up with me.

All in all, I would recommend the Block Of Gear website, just be aware of the potential delivery time, and keep in mind that the blanket might be a bit thin for the price. Also, don't expect to see significant errors in the grammar and spelling, as they seem to have good quality control before sending out the product.

Block Of Gear Disappointing Order Experience with Block of Gear: Late shipment, overcharge, poor customer service, and no refund received

So, I wanted to get me some quilts from Block Of Gear, and at first it was all good until I didn't hear from them if they received my order. But then, after like 5 days, they finally sent me a confirmation. Cool beans, right?

Well, not really because then my credit card was charged for 2 quilts when I only ordered 1. I even went back on the site to check why I hadn't gotten a confirmation email, but I didn't order again. Then, 5 days later, my credit card was charged for 2 again. What the heck, man?

Finally, after 2 WHOLE WEEKS after my card was charged, I got an email that my order was being shipped. But there was no indication that there were 2 quilts in it. That was back in early December, and I was still waiting for my quilt on the Monday before Christmas with no tracking number. Customer service finally told me it was in NJ, and then finally on Dec. 26, it arrived with 2 quilts in it.

But wait, there's more! It's now January 18th, and I still haven't gotten a credit on my card for the extra quilt. I did give one to my grandson, and he was stoked, but the other one is still wrapped up and waiting for...something to happen. They offered me a 30% refund, but that ain't gonna cut it. I just want a return label and a full credit. Is that too much to ask?

I even emailed them last week, and still no response. Come on, yo! By the way, the quilt itself is thin like I expected, but it doesn't feel like it's gonna fall apart or anything. So that's good, at least.

Block Of Gear Disappointing Product and Customer Service from Block of Gear Website

The Block of Gear website got me excited to order a quilt as a gift. However, when it arrived, I noticed that the colors were not as lively as I expected them to be based on the pictures on the website. Furthermore, I thought I was purchasing a quilt, but what I received was actually made up of printed pictures on material with padding in between the two layers of the outer material and all stitched together, which did not feel like a real quilt.

My biggest annoyance with this company was my inability to reach their customer service. They provided no phone number or email address, leaving me with no way to reach them except through Facebook Messenger. Even then, I received a response only after I threatened them to complain to my credit card company. The same response reiterated the need for purchase information before they would talk with me via email, and I didn't get any closer to resolving my issue. They provided a shipping tracking number that didn't seem to have any information, and even after I asked them multiple times, nothing was done to help me. I finally received my item after nearly four weeks. But unfortunately, there was no way to return it, so I was stuck with the product I did not like.

All things considered, I'm disappointed with both the product and service provided by Block of Gear. Going forward, I doubt that I will buy anything from Facebook sites again, and I cannot recommend this website either to anyone. In addition, I had a hard time posting this review, as it wouldn't let me sign in through Facebook as it claimed that it couldn't, and instead, I had to provide my email instead.

Block Of Gear Disappointing Experience with Block of Gear: Slow Shipping, Low Quality, and Poor Delivery

Well, it's been quite a journey with Block of Gear. My experience with them started off shaky with the shipping. I ordered a "quilt" back on December 7th, but didn't receive it until today, January 19th. That's a whole month and twelve days, which is frankly, way too long to wait for any product.

To make matters worse, the delivery was a complete disaster. When the package arrived, it was left out in the rain, across the street from my house, leaning up against the mailbox. Now, I have a covered front and back porch with the house number clearly visible on the front of the house. So, there was no need for it to be left out in the weather and so easy to be stolen. Lucky for me, no one took it, and it was still in the package when I found it.

When I finally got around to opening the package and inspecting the product, I was totally disappointed with the quality of the quilt. The "quilt" was merely two pieces of fabric with a very thin batting (perhaps just a lining, but I'm not sure) with some crisscross machine stitching. The batting was practically non-existent, and I could not believe how expensive the quilt was for such a low-quality product.

To make matters worse, the size was completely off. The quilt was advertised as a king-size quilt, but it was the smallest king-size quilt I have ever seen. It didn't allow proper overhang if you pulled it over the pillows, see pictures. If I'm being honest, it barely met the minimum measurement required to be considered a king-size.

After the disappointment of the quilt, I haven't even tried returning it yet. I'm still recovering from the shock of such a slow delivery, low quality, high price, and pathetic delivery. I'm not even sure it's worth the effort to return the most disappointing purchase of 2020.

I'm not quite sure what to do with the quilt. It's too embarrassing to give away as a gift, and it's not something that I would like to display. Maybe I will take it apart and make a real quilt out of it, with a nice extra border and double batting. That way, at least I'll be proud to display it.

All in all, my experience with Block of Gear has been a letdown. Slow shipping, bad quality, poor delivery, and a disappointing product. If you're thinking of ordering from them, think long and hard before you do.

Block Of Gear Disappointing shopping experience with Block Of Gear - Terrible customer service and exchange process

I had an unfortunat experince shoping with Block Of Gear. I decieded to purchese a quilt for my son as a gift, but it turned out to be a complete dissapointment. I ordeded the full sized quilt for my son's bed, and what Arived was much smaller than I expected. It was too small by 5 inches in length and 7 inches in width. I mean, I have never seen any berd for which a Full size quillt coul be that small. Telling them the issue was a harch task as it was. Block of Gear gave me a hard time exchanging the Full for a Queen, insisting that I had to take measurments and send photographic proof of the quilt. This was so incovinient I had no choice but to comply.

It took weeks of exchanging emails back and forth before they finally agreed to exchange the quilt for a larger size, which was supposed to be all I needed. However, by this time I had already purchased a Queen-sized quilt from another vendor out of frustration. The issue was never about exchanging but about Block Of Gear's lack of respect for customers' needs and of course, time. It was outrightly disapointing!

I didn't expect the whole process would take this long! It was taking them a minimum of 2 to 3 days to reply to my e-mails which made me feel that customer satisfaction was not a priority and that they were just not interested in the exchange. All of this made me impatient with them, so much so that I decided to cough up the money for a new quilt myself. I didn't want to bother with them anymore.

Despite them promising many times to exchange for a bigger size, it never happened. They insisted on sending me a link, but it became clear to me that their customer service was flawed. They lacked efficency and had terrible communication skills, which made simple matters seem impossible.

I am now caught between keeping the quilt and being out my hard earned money by not getting the exchange, which is such a pain. I would not recommend Block Of Gear to anyone.

Block Of Gear Disappointing Experience with Block of Gear: Items Didn't Match Advertised Quality or Design

I recently bought 3 items from Block of Gear and unfortunately, they did not meet my expectations. The items were cheaply made and not the same as what was shown on their website. First, I ordered a Daughter blanket in the size above the throw, but it was very tiny. Some of the screen printing on the edges was crooked and off-centered, making it tough to read the text. The other Daughter blanket that I ordered was supposed to have a black or navy blue background, but it was nowhere near the dark shade as advertised. If you moved your hand to feel the fabric, all you could see was white, making it seem like a child had sprayed the tips of the fleece.

The worst of all was the Dad blanket. As someone who lost their father, I was drawn to the words on the blanket shown on the website. However, when it arrived, the words were not the same, they were misaligned, and the color was a cheap mustard, not russet brown as advertised. I was disappointed as I was under the impression that these items were made in the USA, but they were clearly shipped from China.

The order process was also frustrating as I never received a confirmation email that my order was being handmade. I only got an email saying my order was on the way. When I tracked the number, it stated that the items had been delivered four days earlier, which was a surprise to me. After contacting the post office, I learned that the package was shipped from China, which was not what was advertised. The company suggested that I check with everyone in my neighborhood, which was insulting.

All in all, my experience with Block of Gear was disappointing. If you plan on buying from them, be aware that the items may not match what is advertised, and the quality may be cheap. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Block Of Gear Unreliable Seller: My Disappointing Experience with Block Of Gear Home Goods

I stumbled upon Block Of Gear's website while browsing online for home goods. The colorful picture of a lovely quilt caught my eye and I decided to make a purchase as the seller's USA address seemed reliable enough. After paying via Paypal with my credit card, I was surprised to receive a notification from my bank about an international transaction being processed. I immediately became wary and sent a cancel email to the seller, but received no response.

The next day I received an unexpected email from the seller stating that the item had shipped, along with a tracking number and link to track its progress. However, when I clicked on the provided link, the tracking number proved to be invalid. Days later I received another email informing me that my cancel email had been rejected due to an error on the seller's end. I was frustrated with the lack of communication from the seller and filed a complaint with Paypal.

To my surprise, I received yet another tracking number, this time from USPS, indicating that the item was located in Compton, California. However, the tracking number showed that the item had never been scanned in Compton, but had suddenly appeared in Las Vegas before being delivered to my doorstep two days later. Upon inspection, I noticed that the quilt was poorly stitched and the labeling was absent. Disappointed, I wanted to return it for a refund.

Initially, the seller refused to respond to my request, but finally agreed to accept the return and refund $96 I had paid. However, I was appalled when I was given a Vietnamese address to return it to. The cost of postage would have been over half of the original cost of the quilt, and I was worried that I might not have been able to obtain proof of delivery. Additionally, the seller wouldn't pay the refund until he received the returned quilt. It was a frustrating experience, and I wouldn't recommend buying from Block Of Gear.

Later, I decided to open the quilt and found that the stitching was as poor as I suspected. Moreover, despite being marketed as a queen size, it barely fit my bed. I also discovered that there were no labels indicating the type of fabric used in its production. This is a violation of the law, and it made me doubt the authenticity of the item. The quilt was too thin and flimsy to provide any warmth, and I was disappointed with its quality. What's more, I received a mere $21 out of the $96 I paid, which was hardly sufficient to compensate for the trouble. I will most likely use it as a dust cover in my camper as it's too light to be of any use otherwise. I believe that this seller and their substandard products should be banned from selling in the United States.

Block Of Gear Disappointing Customer Service from Block of Gear: A Review

Their products on the website look super cute! I decided to grab a quilt as a gift for my mom for Mother's Day, but boy was I in for a ride. Unfortunately, after my purchase, I didn't receive any information about the shipping of my quilt. I could not wait any longer and ended up waiting for almost two whole weeks! After that, I decided to email the team to inquire about my order. Luckily, they replied within a day and told me it was currently being processed and that it would be shipped really soon. Great news, right? But then, another week went by and still nothing. I had to send them another email to find out what was going on. The team responded with a claim that my product was in high demand (even though online it said only 4 were available so to purchase soon), which left me a bit suspicious. They said they'd send me another email shortly with my tracking number and the company to whom it was shipping through. Another weeks gone by and still nothing. What a bummer! I did not imagine a situation like this when deciding to buy a quilt from them.

In the end, I decided to look up reviews for this company and, to my surprise, saw that they've done this recently to more than just me. I felt cheated and felt the need to report this business I had a bad experience with. To me, it looks like Block of Gear has quite a number of flaws when it comes to customer service. My purchase, which I was so excited about in the beginning, eventually turned out to be a hassle. Luckily, after some time and headache, I was able to request a refund from PayPal. Consider your options and maybe look for more reliable providers before you purchase any products from Block of Gear.

Block Of Gear Block Of Gear: A Frustrating Scam - My Experience with Their Poor Customer Support and Non-Delivery of Products

I recently had a bad experience with Block Of Gear (blockofgear.com). I ordered a blanket for my son back in May of 2020, but it has not been delivered. When I tried to contact the company for help, I received no straight answers and ended up being misinformed about the delivery. To make matters worse, they took my money but never reimbursed me. I am owed $80, and no one has offered to help resolve this issue for me.

Dealing with this company has been frustrating and fruitless. They won't call me back, and I'm just left with a feeling of being taken advantage of. It's especially frustrating during a pandemic when finances are already tight for many people. Block Of Gear claims my son's blanket was delivered, but I only received my daughter's senior one. They tell me that two are in transit, but only one was entered into the system.

This whole experience has been a real scam on people who work hard for their money. It would have been nice to see a company that's not a rip-off, considering the economic difficulties we've all been facing. I'll definitely be warning everyone I know not to spend their money on this website. There are plenty of other options that deliver high-quality products and provide real customer support.

To make matters worse, I tried to communicate with Block Of Gear through Messenger, and they blocked me! Not being able to get in touch with customer support made me feel like people who work honest jobs are just getting ripped off by these companies. In summary, Block Of Gear is a bad choice for anyone looking to purchase high-quality products and get good customer support.

Block Of Gear Disappointing Purchase: Poor Workmanship and Packaging from Block of Gear

This throw ain't worth it for the cost paid, because there are a few reasons why. The workmanship ain't top-notch, cuz two corners needed fixing 'cause the stitching was undone or missed the fabric. The top ain't even sewn to the backing except around the corners. I gotta quilt the inside usin' the old tie method before givin' it as a gift. The fabric is basic and cheap considerin' the cost paid. I wouldn't valuate it any more than around $40.

The packagin' ain't that good neither - it comes in a flimsy clear plastic wrap, then squished into a thicker plastic bag before bein' sent by USPS. Both packagin' split open during the mailin' process, dirtyin' up the throw with black marks. I had to work hard to remove the stains by applyin' spot remover and washin' it again.

I'm still keepin' it 'cause my friend loves everythin' in the pictures of the throw. Once I've fixed it up some, it'll be a nice gift for her. But I ain't gonna buy nothin' from Block Of Gear again. Be careful, folks!

Block Of Gear Disappointing Customer Service from Block Of Gear - Blanket with Wrong Names and No Response for Return

I bought a blanket for Christmas from Block Of Gear, but it was late. I sent them a couple of emails and they replied quickly, telling me that the bad weather could delay the delivery. I understood that these things can happen, so I waited patiently. Finally, I received the blanket that I wanted to give to my wife as a gift. However, when I opened the package, I noticed that the blanket had two different names on it. I contacted the seller asking how to return the blanket and get a new one with the correct names. Unfortunately, I still haven't received any reply even after two weeks of emailing back and forth.

Honestly, I cannot recommend buying from Block Of Gear. The customer service is terrible, and they refuse to refund my money or send me the right order. If you are looking for a unique blanket with the names Emily and Brent on it, then feel free to reach out to me, as I have an extra one lying around.

In conclusion, Block Of Gear may have some nice products, but it's not worth risking your money on if you're not sure about the customer service. It's a shame that I have had such a negative experience, as I was looking forward to buying more products from them in the future. But now, I will be avoiding them at all costs.

Block Of Gear Block Of Gear Blanket Review: Cute & Soft, But Delivery Process Needs Work

Ordered two blankets for the grandkids from Block Of Gear's webby, and I've gotta say I'm not too shabby about the quality. They're just as I hoped they'd be and all that jazz. Gonna be real with you though, the prices are a little steep. But hey, I knew what I was getting into. The real problem, though, is how much of a pain in the tushy it was to get these bad boys delivered. No communication about shipping times, no phone numbers to call 'em up and ask what's goin' on. I'm guessing this is all on purpose. Only way to get in touch is emailing them, and they did get back to me within the right timeframe with a link to track my package. I had already gone and stopped the payment on my card cause I read up on a bunch of other folks not getting their stuff, but once this finally came in I crab-walked back on that decision. As for the blankets themselves, they're real darn adorable and soft and plenty thick enough. Overall, it was aight. The product's aight, but the process needed a bit of work if you catch my drift.

I placed an order with Block Of Gear on Nov. 25th and was excited to receive my item. On Dec. 4th I was notified that my order had finished processing and on Dec. 5th I received another email letting me know that my item was shipped. Unfortunately, the tracking link provided did not work. I decided to send them an email, but I didn't receive an update until Dec. 15th.

I was finally able to track my order and discovered that my item was being shipped from China. According to the tracking info, it was tendered for delivery as of Dec. 21st. Unfortunately, it stayed that way through Christmas. It wasn't until 10 days later, Dec. 31st, that it updated and said it was received in my city. Finally, on Jan. 2nd, 2021, the tracking info stated that it was "out for delivery." It was delivered eventually.

I must admit that I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the item. For the amount I paid, I would have expected better. The comforter is very lightweight and the images on it are just okay. However, I suppose it will make an okay fall/spring comforter.

Despite the delayed shipping and disappointing quality, I appreciate the effort put in by Block Of Gear to get my order to me. I understand that things don't always go according to plan, especially during the holiday season when shipping can get delayed. Overall, I would say that Block Of Gear did an okay job, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of shipping updates and quality control.

Block Of Gear Disappointing Experience with Block Of Gear's Customer Service

I purchased a baseball blanket on December 5th of last year from Block Of Gear. I paid extra for express 10-day shipping hoping to receive it in time for Christmas. Unfortunately, I did not receive the item until December 29th, and worse yet, it was the wrong blanket! I was really looking forward to giving this as a gift to my son.

The very next day, I contacted customer service via email to see what could be done to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, it took 12 days to hear back from them! When they finally got back to me, they said that I did not need to return the incorrect blanket and that they would be shipping the correct one out to me. I was relieved to hear that, but it has now been over a month since that email exchange and I have heard nothing from Block Of Gear. I sent them another email on January 15th asking for an update, but still no response.

At this point, I am not sure when or even if I will ever receive the correct item. I'm still happy to return the wrong one, but based on their previous communication, I don't want to cause any confusion. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of response from Block Of Gear has been a major disappointment. If only their customer service was as speedy as their express shipping!

Block Of Gear Warning: Terrible Experience with Block of Gear - Beware Before You Order

I cannot believe what a terrible experience I had with Block Of Gear. Honestly, it was almost comical how many things went wrong with this order. I had ordered a cozy blanket as a Christmas gift for my sister-in-law back in early November, so I would have plenty of time to get it to her by December 25th.

After finally deciding on the perfect blanket design and placing my order, I received an email stating that it had been shipped in mid-November and that it would take 7-15 days to arrive at its destination. Sounded great, until I tried tracking my order with the tracking number provided and found it didn't work.

I initially thought maybe it was just a mistake, so I reached out to their customer service team, and after several days, I received another tracking number. But it was the same story; it showed that the label was created, but the package hadn't been received by USPS. I waited several more days, and when I tried tracking it again, nothing had changed, and I was getting a little frustrated.

I tried to get in touch with the company multiple times, and it was like pulling teeth to get any information from them. They kept giving me the run around, and I had had enough of it. That's when I decided to dig deeper and found out that while the company is based in Texas, they're actually shipping out of China. So many red flags were going off in my head at this point.

With horror stories about packages taking months to arrive when shipped from China, I decided to do some research and found a whole bunch of complaints about this company on BBB. It was a massive relief when I learned that I had paid via PayPal and had buyer's protection. I requested a refund, and to my surprise, I got a full one.

Now, here's the kicker, after two months, the package label is still created, but the blanket has yet to be shipped. And to add to my irritation, I received an email today from Block of Gear stating that I should have received my product by now and would I like to leave a review? Wow. Just wow.

If you're thinking about ordering from Block of Gear, please beware and do your research beforehand. I sure wish I would have.

Block Of Gear Disappointing Experience with Block Of Gear Personalized Blankets: Shipping Delay and Printing Error

I bought 2 personalized blankets from Block Of Gear website on the 15th day of November. That's over a month before Christmas! I should have received the blankets by the first week of December so I can prepare and wrap them beautifully for my loved ones. However, I only got the package on the 5th day of December, which is already cutting it close to the holiday rush. To my dismay, both blankets had the same name printed on them. How could they make such a silly mistake? I quickly contacted the customer service team of Block Of Gear and informed them about the printing error. Their solution was to reprint the blankets and send them out again. Okay, no biggie. A week later, on the 15th day of December, I checked the tracking number that was provided to me by Block Of Gear. It showed that my package is still in China! I got very anxious, so I followed up with them via email. I told them that this was their mistake and that I expected to get the blankets on time for Christmas. Their response was courteous but disappointing. They explained that their shipping method is taking a little longer than usual. Really? This was their mistake and there's no guarantee that I will get the package in time for the holiday. As of today, which is the 22nd day of December, I still haven't received the package. What's worse is that they didn't offer to expedite the shipping so I can get the blankets in time for Christmas. I mean, who wants to receive a holiday gift weeks after the event, right? It's not like I live on the other side of the planet. I ordered the blankets weeks ahead and yet, Block Of Gear couldn't deliver as expected. I am pretty sure they are not using the most efficient shipping carrier. Also, their website claims that they ship worldwide, so they should have a smarter shipping system in place. I don't have any issues buying from an international store since it's easy to do that these days, but I expect them to have better delivery options. I paid for the blankets and the shipping fee, so I deserve to get them on time and in the correct condition. Alice, the customer service rep who assisted me, was kind and empathetic. However, the outcome didn't match my expectations. Here I am, 3 days before Christmas, scrambling to find another gift for my loved ones. It's disappointing, to say the least. Block Of Gear, please make sure that you have a more direct and speedy shipping option. It sucks to wait weeks for a gift that was supposed to arrive before the holiday rush. Also, please double-check your personalized products to avoid printing errors. I hope this review helps other potential buyers make an informed decision.

Block Of Gear False Advertising and Poor Customer Service: My Experience with Block of Gear

I recently made a purchase on Block of Gear's website for the Vietnam quilt on December 4th. I was eager to get it before Christmas, so I decided to shell out an extra $20 for express shipping. To my disappointment, Christmas came and went, and still no sign of my order. When it finally arrived, I was dismayed to find out it was the wrong product. What's worse is that it was shipped from China, even though Block of Gear claims to be an American company. Talk about false advertising!

I sent multiple emails to their customer service team, only to receive automated responses telling me that my inquiry is being forwarded to a representative. There's not even a phone number to call to talk to someone real! It felt like I was running in circles, and the lack of transparency surely raised alarms for me.

After weeks of back-and-forth, someone finally asked me to send photographs of the misshipped quilt. And after doing so, I was left waiting for their response like a person left hanging during a first date. I tried to explain the urgency of my situation - I was sending this quilt to my cousin who was on hospice care, and I really wanted to make sure he got it before he passed. It was important to me, but it seemed like Block of Gear didn't think the same.

Days turned into weeks and unfortunately, my cousin passed before I could give him the quilt I selected for him. And let me tell you, the product I received didn't even come close to matching the quality and likeness of the item I ordered. The substitute was so thin, it felt like it was just two pieces of fabric sewn together. The lack of stuffing made it feel cheap and make-believe - definitely not worth the wait, frustration and extra shipping cost.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend shopping with Block of Gear. This "American" company deals with Chinese manufacturers, shipping substitutes, lacking customer support, and unclear policies. I'm planning to report them to BBB and other consumer protection agencies sooner or later, just like what other reviewers should do. I hope you take this review seriously when considering doing business here.
