I got a pool from them, and it isn't what they said it was. I got the upgrade from the $395 pool as well. No chemicals, just a gallon of bleach a week. NOT! You have to use algaecide, and other chemicals as well. Not as many as a regular pool, maybe, but chemicals anyway. Not to mention, I was financed through Puronics, and I signed a contract for $14, 000 for 7 years. I tried to cancel, but was told the very next day, that the pool was already ordered, and if I cancelled now, I would be charged $7000, due immediately. I was told that if I sold my house, and the buyer didn't want the pool, they would move it to where I moved to. Well, that was going to cost me $3500 to get it moved. I had been told it would be free of charge. Then, when I was called with confirmation of my pool order, the folks at puronics told me that they had included a ionic water filter system for my home, valued at $2900, and had been added to my loan amount. I told them I didn't want it, but they said it was too late, that the paperwork had been processed, and it had been added into my financed amount. I wasn't asked in advance, informed in advance, nothing. They just did and said OH WELL. Well, I have my contract, and it shows $14000 as the financed amount, and I would love to take them to court over this, but am not sure who I can sue. I moved the pool myself, and continue to pay on it, but if I could find a way to make them feel the pain I have since I got the darn thing, I would love to. I fell for the whole thing and I don't think it is right. I will be happy to become involved in a class action lawsuit against them. just let me know.

Contact your states Attorney General. I am in Virginia & my daughter is in Kentucky. At the time we purchased the pools neither of us were aware of the others purchase and the slaes practices and follow-up by the company was the same as yours actually maybe worse, it has forced us into bankruptcy. I hope this helps you because you are not alone. Channel 7 in Georgia did an investigation you should watch it. www.wspa.com ( pool complaints )
To the above response, IT DOES HAPPEN, IT DID HAPPEN, AND IT IS STILL HAPPENING NOW!

I do disagree with this company they are scamming people like crazy this company needs a big [censor] law suite on them so they will quit doing this my pool was not worth no 17, 000 for above ground it sould have been inground and heated for that money I think they do owe me some of my money back but you can forget that because that is how they make their money is scamming people every day

They got me as well, the salesman told us we were getting a 24 foot by 52 inches deep. But when the pool got there we had to pay extra for 52 inches. They tricked us into the whole lien on our home as well. We tried to back out before the pool arrived but they threatened us with the lien and stated that if we wanted out, I would have to pay $5000. If anyone is going in on a lawsuit, count me in. These guys are awful people.

I think you people are missing the real crime here. The real crime is not that you paid too much for the pool...the crime is the illegal financing. Check your credit report, is there an installment loan listed...NO. Also, did you sign an installment agreement with the required true interest cost? Nope. That is illegal. What you did was sign a paper allowing a loan shark to take an amount of money out of your bank account for an indefinite amount of time. My advice, stop letting them, change your account and do NOT acknowledge you owe them anything...as you have no agreement that indicates what you owe, how much payments are, etc. The contract is illegal if it allows them to unilaterally add items at additional cost to the package...and then just automatically add it to what you owe. Do you have a paper that says when they will stop stealing from your bank account...NOPE. Because they will do it as long as they want. Do you even have a contract with the company (supposed lender) that is taking the money...Nope. Can they put a lien on your house? Doubtful. Most states require a judgement in order to do so, unless it is a mechanics lien. Most states also have a statute of limitations in order to do that...meaning if you had the pool for a couple years...too late. They must get a court order in YOUR county...go right ahead and try that. I'd like to see them try. The burden of proof is on them to show a proponderance of the evidence that you owe them something. no loan agreement and you not acknowledging a debt...forget it. The FTC should be all over these people, illegal financing arrangements...even same as cash requires a loan agreement with disclosures that are required by law. The intimidation tactics are laughable. They are just scaring you into letting them continue to rob your bank account.

This is the worst I ever seen, this rep come to me, and make it all sound good. My wife and I reject their offer. This man name Mike call the next morning, and explain that this was a chemical free pool, never to buy anything, and a life time guaranteed. He sent the rep back and I signed, after that I tried to cancell the contrack, I was told if I do I will pay 7, 000 dollars due immediately, that I had no choice that they will send their lawyer afetr me, well I let it go since I had no choice but the wather start turning green, I tried to call this mean man come and tell me, I was supposed to buy this or that. the steps are damage and the pool become an pain to handle. despite all my efforts these peoples keep pressuring me that they are going to take my house if I dont make my payments. I just want them to take the thing back. this is not a pool for that much money. It does not deliver what was promised. Please if anyone can help please let me know.

We too were scammed. A rep came to the house and told us all the great things about this pool. We agreed to the less expensive pool. The next day they called my husband and told him they would give him the better pool for the same cost if we agreed to be a show house. My husband agreed. Then when they showed up to set the pool up, the amount was 15000 more than we were originally told. We called and they said that we had to take it or they would put a lien on the house we just bought 6 months before. Reluctantly, we signed the paperwork out of fear of losing our house. We paid faithfully on-time for the first year and a half. We then fell on financial hard times with the passing of my grandmother, totaling of my car, and my need to have surgery. We tried to call them and make arrangements at first they would do nothing. Then all of a sudden they wanted to make arrangements after calling us 15 to 20 times a day. We finally agreed and they were supposed to send us paperwork. Before we even received the paperwork they were calling us making threats to us in voicemails about our house, our credits, and comments about our personal selves. Tonight my husband answered the phone when they called us at 9:10 PM. The first time they hung up on us. My husband tried to explain to the guy that we had just got home, just received the paperwork today, and had not had a chance to look it over. The man called my husband a liar, told him to give him a break, yelled at him. My husband told him that he was going to attempt to record the call. The man told him that he didn’t give a dam and that he would never stop or leave us alone. They call our cell phones, house phones and my work phones. My children and friends have heard the messages because he speaks so loudly. He never says that this is an attempt to collect a debt. I want to sue these people and do not know how. Help….

My family was sccammed also with this pool. We did do a contract and now that we went through a divorce they put a lien on the property. Im not paying another dime. I knew it was little flakey when you look at the commercial. The pool is $299 to $399 and when they come to your house the price goes up between $7000 and $10000. I would like to join you guys on a lawsuit. Now i cant get my house back because of that dumb ### purchase.

Blue World Pools is a horrendous company to deal with. True scammers. They don’t tell you when they finance that the interest rate keeps rising and you end up paying $40,000 to $50,000 for a $3,000 pool. They also put a lien on your home and horribly rude every time you talk to them on the phone! They scammed my elderly parents. Got them to finance and put a lien on their home. My parents had already paid them over $25,000 when they where still alive. They both passed away last year and we had to sell their property to pay their debt. Blue world pools was unbelievably rude, NEVER offered any condolences for us losing our parents, only demanded the rest of their money and sent threatening text messages about the lien. When we sold their property we had to pay them ANOTHER $16,000 to get the lien off the property. In total that was $41,000 for a $3,000 pool! When I called to get the payoff the finance lady said “I will send the payoff when time permits!” I said you will send it NOW if you want it to be paid off! My lawyer even said they where extremely rude to her! They are heartless, inconsiderate, extremely rude, very selfish people who are excellent con artists! You sign their contract and your making a deal with the devil himself. They scam you with lies and you don’t even realize it until it’s too late. They take you for everything! My parents wanted to leave their children a little something. By the time blue world pools was done with us there was barely anything left! Beware! Be VERY aware!
