We were scammed by the representative with BlueGreen Vacations. We were guaranteed that the tour would only last 45 minutes which to find out is a lie is last between 2 to 5 hours. After we made our reservations for September of 2022 it took me calling twice to get the confirmation for our reservations and at that point is when we were told that the tour would last so long by the time you get checked in at 4 PM or after and have a 5 hour tour the next day that only leave you 1 to 1/2 days to enjoy your vacation. I should have booked with Airbnb at least my experience with them has always been correct and never misleading. At this point I am ready to just call this a learning lesson and never use or speak with this company or representatives again.
Desired outcome: Would like to receive credit for what I paid for a vacation that we are not going to use we paid $ 179.00 for the package.

Want to cancel/sell/get out of my time share. Have paid in full and only been able to use once. Everything is booked all the time. Fees cost more then a vacation on it's own. SCAM.

Our Stay at a Quality Inn and Suites Airport in Spokane, WA
April 15, 2022
Quality Inn and Suites Airport
4301 West Sunset Blvd.
Spokane, WA 99224
Dear Jennifer,
I don't even know where to begin in regards to our stay at Quality Inn and Suites in Spokane, WA. I reserved 3 rooms for 5 nights April 6th leaving the morning of the 11th to the tune of $1,928.09. Your hotel was the worst experience we have ever had. It is my understanding that you have a lot of new employees and training other new ones. They unfortunately were not well trained and have a lot to learn. There were many times the front desk was unattended and one time the girls head was on the counter as if she was sleeping. You need 24-hour security inside your facility. Whenever we asked a question, they had no answers just excuses. Not one person we asked could give us directions a short and safe way to I-90. We were sent way out of our way a few times until we figured it out. We come out of your parking lot, turn right and right again on the main street. Very safe, quick and simple. Your employees need to know how to give directions or look it up to accommodate your guests. Also, you have no computer available for your guests convenience to use while staying with you which, is very unusual.
My friends were put on the bottom floor in room 119. The room was dirty, air was coming in from under the bottom of the outside door, TV was filthy with had hand prints, their room dead lock was broken off, their door key did not work all the time and they had no hot water to shower. They notified the front desk about the water and that person said they would talk to the manager and get back to them which they never did. The outside door at the end of the hall by their room was never secured which, allowed anyone to enter through it at all times. It was very noisy around 3am numerous times with loud music blaring. They had to leave a day early because of the weather at their home. The front desk person was going to credit back their card for that one night and instead they were charged for another night. Lack of training I would say. On April 14th when they realized what had happened they immediately called to speak to you and were told you were off and would be back in the next day. Today is the next day, the 15th and they called you again at 9:30 am and the person who answered said you were not in yet and saw the note they left yesterday.
Our son was on the 3rd floor in room 317. The bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets had black hair in them as if they were not cleaned. His windows were dirty and there was cold air coming in from under the outside door. No cleaning done to the room with no clean towels. His tub was clogged and would not drain. He went to the front desk and they did put him in room 323 which, was a bit better but not great.
We were on the second floor and our room wasn't too bad. Windows were dirty, air came in from under the outside door, the sink faucet needs a sprayer on it because water was going everywhere and the bath tubs need a mat for safety. We were woken up twice during the night with a domestic fight and in the mornings, there was a PT Cruiser out back with no tail pipe, very loud that woke us up many times.
I have never stayed at a hotel where you have to ask for coffee, cups, towels and wash clothes. If we needed anything we had to ask for it. Finally on April 9th a paper was placed on our door asking what we needed in our room. Kind of a crazy way to treat your guests. The only cleaning I saw was when someone checked out and the room was cleaned. The spa area was broken into and the hot tub is filthy, dirty and black. It must be broken. Clean and working would have been a nice amenity.
The morning breakfasts were ok however, the homeless people came in filled up plates, left and came back and filled up plates again. One morning two men and two women came in and actually sat down and ate for over an hour. Then left with full plates of food. This happened almost every morning. They were dirty, stinky individual's which, made me not want to touch anything after they had. This is unacceptable for your guest to have to put up with. I finally said something to Helen about it. This needs to be delta with immediately. Suggestion, leave one door locked and have an employee check for room keys. No key, no service.
To top everything off we had a 1/4 of a tank of our gas stolen out of our gas tank. Not a good thing. You have a nice parking area but you definitely need 24-hour security.
I have always been the person to book our rooms and I am so angry and embarrassed about what happened with our stay at your hotel. We have stayed in a Quality Inn and Suites many times and other hotels and have never experience anything like we did at yours. We also met some people staying with you and they could not believe the property maintenance, the room problems and homeless people coming in, especially eating with us.
When we were in Vancouver, WA in March at a Quality Inn and Suites and I made our reservations at your hotel and happy to join the Choice Privileges and became a part of the Bluegreen Vacations Getaway as Choice Hotel's Official Vacation Ownership Provider. After spending time at your hotel and treated like we were I cancelled my accounts with them both of them.
In closing, I believe there has got to be a standard of all hotels for cleanliness, safety, food service, pricing and etc. which, you and your owner need to review. I hope you understand our accommodations with you were unacceptable beyond a doubt and really put a damper on all 3 parties 5 day get-a-way. Someone better take some pride and make some serious changes or I can't imagine you staying in business for long.
Respectfully Submitted by a very distraught person,
Nancy Petersen

timeshare
It takes bluegreen months to respond If they even decide to do so. Do not waste time paying thousands of dollars. You are better off going to a woodchipper and throwing your money in there. They state they strive for excellence in customer service but fail to respond. You cant even use the timeshare because they oversold! If you can not have an available time for everyone why continue to charge hundreds a year.
You are better off doing business somewhere else. I asked for an update and no one will respond from bluegreen.
Desired outcome: we are looking to have our ownership canceled
Availiability
Hello, Iam not sure if you are the person to contact regarding issues with bluegreen but here goes.Last year around August 2021 We visited bluegreens in Myrtle Beach, SC and attended the timeshare presentation, so we ended up purchasing a points sampler package costing around $900.00 I have to admit did feel pressured to buy, The saleperson just would not quit and allow us to leave, it took well over 5 hours before all was over. So we have our points sampler package and as we have Spring break week off work , which is this week , We call to try to use some of these point which we have not even used, still have 9,000 pts and every resort in Florida is booked, even Georgia, their is nothing available, The customer service representatives dont even try to find something to accomidate us at all, This is terrible, We spent close to $900.00 on a package and turns out we cannot even use, I really regret have purschasing from Bluegreens,It has been a terrible experience, When they was pitching the sale, everything was painted out to be so nice and sweet and easy but turns out is the complete opposite, I wish we can sell the point back to Bluegreen or even get out money back, which probably wont happen ? I will never recommend or refer anyone to this Bluegreen company after this experience.I dont know what can be done to mend for this and if your not the person to handle this please foward to the right person or department.
My name is Alan Pena and My Wife is Lillian Morley- The Pena Family
Desired outcome: bluegreen does not res[pond to emails I need a solution
Timeshare/Mortg6
My spouse and I were excited to take a trip to Branson to listen and view a presentation for Bluegreen. We unfortunate for us were talked into said company. We decided it was not as glamorous as they made it out to be. No availability of rooms to work around our schedule in planning our vacations. They are quick to remind it's lifetime commitment.
Desired outcome: To be out of this mortgage contract that we thought was just a timeshare
Selling vacation times that aren't available
Blue Green Vacations have oversold vacations so that when we try to book, there are no openings. We have called to speak with multiple representatives expressing this problem with no solution given except that we needed to buy a bigger package. We were misled again, thinking this would help. Two months after purchase, we realized this was a lie and tried to sell it back. We were told that they had their own company, Pinnacle Vacations, and that they were the only ones we were allowed to use to legally sell. After many attempts to make this work we put it up for sale in September. By December we had not heard from anyone and called to speak with another representative who told us we had to wait a year before the option for a "buy out" was available. Again, putting a delay on any type of selling transaction. We were lied to giving us the impression that a "buy out" was indeed a way out of this contract. Being that there was no way to utilize this vacation program, we were excited to finally sell after a years time. Not only have we paid the maintenance fees, we have been charged extra fees on top of our loan. We were actually allowed to use two nights at a "last minute" reservation. We were then charged "Resort fees" and an extra fifty dollars, on top of our "ownership" fees. Four months after we paid maintenance fees for last year, we were charged the whole next years fees. They were under two different accounts and was told that they were listed that way so that they "weren't oversold". When we expressed our dissatisfaction of all of the hidden charges, these express charges, and the lack of help to have a "buy back", the representative got angry and said she didn't have to deal with this and sent us to another representative. After more than a few attempts, my husband was able to reach a representative where he was told there are no "buy backs", only transfers after the loan is paid off. He was later called few days later after leaving a couple of voice mails and told if we paid $7000, we would be forgiven the other $7000. In other words, we were misled into paying for a vacation that wasn't available with extra hidden charges. Even though it is true, they require us to pay for half the loan. We believe this was a dishonest representation of a vacation that trapped us into a money scheme.
Desired outcome: Release from this contract.
Not being able to book when availability is post on booking websites
Blue Green Vacations- This is one of the worst investment that I could have made in my life. This company and timeshare is worthless. They train their employees to tell you everything you would like to hear at the presentation which is not at all factual. Bluegreen is most definitely scam. They show you all the rooms that you will never be able to book. We stayed there countless of hours with them forcing our hands to buy. We are making monthly payments and paying annual maintenance fees for free. We all are just giving away our our money to a company that is inconsiderate. There is No you can book when you get ready for a stay because they post their hotel on the booking websites to get more money and when owners check to for availability there is not any. I was trying to book for 4 days and the Orlando Sunshine Resort had availability on bookit.com and when I called Bluegreen they said we don't any for those dates. I have a screen shot of the availability for my dates. This is a warning for the people who work hard for their money. Please do not make the mistake we made. They can have the money I invested, I just want out without having to a lawyer 6000.00 to get me out this mess. To the CEO of Bluegreen, where is your heart for the people who put their trust in your company and your employees. I can write a entire book on my experience with Bluegreen.
Forceful and deceiving company
In 2019, I was asked to do a Timeshare review with my family. We went down for the free trip. After the timeshare, we went to the offices to talk to absolutely fraudulent employees. My fiancé and I "failed" the credit check. We couldn't afford it and they "knew" we couldn't afford. They asked us if we could "call" people to get the downpayment. However we could get the money... While we sat there, they laid every "fake" dream down about how this would change our life and the lives of our children. Since this dreadful day, Bluegreen has been upping the charges every year. To "force" someone into a contract knowing they cannot afford, and then offer a "payment" plan for maintenance fees!?!?!?!? The class action suits are coming. But to prey on the "poor" is extremely low. They told me I could work with "their" company to resale. I don't want my money back. I don't want a dime. I just want out.
Desired outcome: I want out of my timeshare. I don't want a dime. I want out.
I own a week but am unable to make a reservation despite paying all membership fees
I called on 02/18/2022 to reserve my 2022 week. I am a weeks member who is supposed have prime time. What a joke. Almost every year without fail, there is no inventory or perhaps one unit when I am trying to make a reservation almost a year in advance. This situation has nothing to do with Covid since it has been ongoing for years. I call earlier and earlier every year. Once again I am unable to make any reservation. I am told to call back every day in case inventory changes. That is totally inappropriate. I am not provided the ability to search myself online since apparently I am a lowly weeks member, who I might add has a deed to my unit. If I do the math and you have for example 20 weeks members, then there should be 20 units available some time during the year. Since there never is inventory you have either oversold those weeks or you have less inventory than you profess to have. I pay my levy on time every year and yet I cannot use my week. How is this legal? I can see multiple weeks being sold on other websites on Expedia and other travel websites. It seems to me you are taking my week and selling it for your benefit. There is no way that individual members can sell their weeks to the likes of travel companies such as Expedia. It must be yourselves. Also, those units are used for sales promotions. I am fully aware of that. Please note I have zero intention of becoming a points member so do not even try to go there. I would like someone to contact me with a better answer. I am not a charity organization to pay levies for the profit of your shareholders. I requested the callcenter to escalate this and I have a case #. I have called to make a reservation. I have escalated to a supervisor. Still not able to help. I have emailed. I did the BlueGreen chat option. You are a greedy scam company trying to sell more timeshare than you have inventory. This is a pyramid scheme.
Desired outcome: I would like my 2022 reservation or I would like you to arrange to buy back my week. I do not intend to deed it back to you to provide you with more charitable donations from myself.
Bluegreen vacation customer service
I booked a package from my local Bass Pro shop for Blue Green
Vacations for $179.00 on 9/18/21 for 3 night 4 day
promotion. My family and I went to Florida in December 2021. I
upgraded my package to a 2 bedroom condo in the fountains in
Orlando on 12/20/21 as my family was with me and we needed
more room. The dates were from Jan 1 to Jan 5, 2022 and I paid
extra cost to upgrade in the amount of $255.00 for a total of
$613.00. On Dec 29 a family member was diagnosed with Covid
and my husband tested positive as a close contact 12/30. On
Jan 1/22 I arrived with only my daughter to the Fountains ( we
tested negative and had no symptoms) . At arrival I explained
my situation to the front desk at which point I was flat out told I
can not attend the 2 hour lecture without my husband. I was told
to call [protected] in the morning and discuss my options. I
called the morning of Jan 2nd . I was told that I had to pay extra
to stay in the Fountains or I had to leave. I told the
representative that I upgraded my stay and already paid extra
for that and that I am not allowed to attend the lecture because
my husband can not be with me as he tested positive for covid
and is not with me for that reason. The representative refused to
issue me any credit for anything including the upgrade and told
me I have to leave the property despite paying $613.00 . I was
then charged $415.50 extra on Jan 2 in order to stay at the
Fountains . At this point I had no place to go, my money was
literally confiscated, I was stuck in a 2 bedroom condo which I
did not need, with no option to move anywhere else , no option
to remedy the situation was offered whatsoever . I am filing
several complaints regarding this matter. The pandemic rules
were not of my making and the inflexibility of your staff is frankly
appalling . I ll be seeking a refund from Blue Green vacations, as well as filing complaints with BBB and Consumer Affairs
and I ll make sure others know how you treat your guests.
Desired outcome: refund
Timeshare scam
My brother and I purchased 2 deeded weeks (Oasis Lakes) in 1999 and 2000. Bluegreen took over some years later and at presentations in Florida were told that we had to convert from deeded weeks to points. There was no choice. We were told that Bluegreen would by back the points in the future if we decided that we no longer wanted them. We have been scammed and even when we were current with our fees at the time we wrote to request an exit the scheme, they kicked the can down the road. We have no mortgage or loan. We have always been fully paid up until this last year when we didn't pay our renewal fees because we wanted to exit We were told that we could try to sell the points via Pinnacle Vacations and now Pinnacle Collections is harassing us. Same name, same company?
We have written e-mail after e-mail to Bluegreen and even to the CEO who has ignored us. We wrote to Pinnacle Collections who have ignored us, too.
Alan B Levan - CEO earns nearly $9.000.000 per annum
somebody called Jarrett Levan earns nearly $4.000.000 per annum.
The Modus Operandi of this organisation is clear. Lie to the buyers to get them to sign, then continue to scam them out of thousands of dollars for years to come.
I've read of so many people who are being bullied by this unscrupulous company. How do we join the Class Action that somebody else mentioned because his e-mail address isn't visible and how can we find out how many participants are already in the Class Action?
Desired outcome: Money back and harrassment to stop
My letter to Pinnacle Collections :
Dear Sirs
Firstly, I would like to say that I find it curious that Bluegreen recommends Pinnacle Vacations as a broker to effect time-share sales for owners, yet now we receive a document from you that indicates that you are a debt collector on behalf of Bluegreen ! This would seem to be a blatant conflict of interests and would also appear to show that you are not independent.
The document collected from my mailbox here in Spain, yesterday, wasn't even sent to me and my brother, by recorded or registered mail, to be signed for- !
Further to my e-mail below, we have been writing to Bluegreen for months.
We wrote to Bluegreen on 09 May 2021 (well before our renewal date of 31 May 2021) so our membership was current, however, * our e-mail went unanswered. We chased again on 18 May 2021.
Christie Hornung then replied on 18 May 2021 to say that she had tried to contact us but we have no evidence of any calls from the US coming into either of our phones.
We eventually spoke with Ms Hornung on 21 May 2021 and explained that we wanted Bluegreen to buy back our points due to the documented fact that we had been mis-sold the product and were coerced into changing from deeded weeks to points and further more, to increase the number of points we would own. At no time did she say that there was a scheme offered by Bluegreen (Owners Scheme). After trawling through the internet and finding the Timeshare Users Group website it was only then that I found Bluegreen's 'We're here to help page! which states 'We provide simple and safe exit solutions tailored to your specific circumstances'.
Christie Hornung has been full of apologies for her appalling customer service and mistakes and I have a myriad of e-mail exchanges proving this. I even copied Mr Levan (CEO Bluegreen) on the e-mails and not once did he show the courtesy of answering me. I actually wrote to Mr Levan directly on 06 Sept 2021 with no response. Whilst I appreciate that Mr Levan cannot respond to individual owners, I would imagine he has a secretary who would.
In desperation, I contacted the Governor of Florida, Mr DeSantis and had a reply from his office stating:
To assist you, I forwarded your letter to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), Bureau of Customer Service. DBPR's Division of Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes regulates the creation, sale, and operation of timeshare plans in the State of Florida pursuant to Chapter 721, Florida Statutes, the "Florida Vacation Plan and Timesharing Act.
I also wrote to Autumn Fechner on 11 October 2021 asking if Bluegreen was ISO 9001 registered - e-mail ignored !
In fact, the same day I received a promotional e-mail - one of many received whilst in dispute and at the bottom they read :
THIS ADVERTISING MATERIAL IS BEING USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING THE SALE OF TIMESHARE INTERESTS.
THIS ADVERTISING MATERIAL IS BEING USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING THE SALE OF TIME-SHARE PROPERTY OR INTERESTS IN TIME-SHARE PROPERTY.
Talk about rubbing salt into the wounds. Totally unacceptable, highly inappropriate and unprofessional !
Please advise how you would like to receive all the e-mail exchanges, as there are many and you will see just how appalling Christie Hornung, Autumn Fechner and Alan Levan's customer service has been, throughout this ongoing battle.
We look forward to hearing from you with your proposal in order to bring this extremely stressful situation to a satisfactory conclusion.
In conclusion, the appalling customer service from Bluegreen has done nothing but taint our 'Florida experience'.
Yours faithfully
Andy Davis and Ian Davis
The charges I had to pay.
The absolute worse experience Ive ever had. I filed a complaint with the better business. You can read all my details there. I will also file as many complaints as I can online to insure people stay away from this company. The company wanted my husband to show up for a preview with COVID19. It would of exposed many people. We tried to work with them however they weren't having it.
Desired outcome: Refund
Maintenance Fees.
We bought Time Shares with Bluegreen in 2013 or 2014. We was told that we would have to pay Maintenance fees But we was never told the Maintenance fees was going up. I called Customer Service and complained about it and was told they had to raise the Maintenance fees to keep the Resort up. I also asked what was the ADR for which was $15.00 totaling $30.00 They said to cover their Employees Union Dues. I was so upset. Here we paid out $11, 000 for our Time Shares and now The Maintenance fees is Ridiculous too high. I also told them about my hours was cut because of the Covid-19. I was told they didn't have anything to do with that. I always paid my bill on time now its a problem and it seems the Maintenance fees is going up because of the Covid-19 which is not my problem. I love going to Florida on Vacation but if I have to pay Double for my Timeshare I would love to sell it and get rid of Bluegreen altogether and never deal with them again. I really hope the Better Business Bureau do something about this Company Scamming people into buying their Times
shares.
Desired outcome: Stop raising the Maintenance fees Every Year.
Promises of service which was lies!
Sales people promised all kinds of perks before us signing a contract and after saying, "that's not in the contract. It doesn't matter then!"
To read that contract it would have taken days! And you like to believe you're dealing with an honest company! It isn't! And all the others that work there, well probably not all, are crooked also! Don't sign up with them, unless you read the contract!
Desired outcome: Have company do the right thing! Be honest!!!
Their so called "sign up" bonus
We signed up for the Initial $16, 000, which gives you 8000 points. As an incentive, they threw in a cruise for two through Royal Caribbean Cruise lines. A 4 to 7 day cruise in the Caribbean. This is suppose to be a $1975 retail value. Well when I wanted to book this cruise through their counter part GOCRV, it ended up going to cost me more then if I would have booked it through Caribbean Cruise Lines. Their excuse was, "this is all they have on a promotional level right now, please check back with us later". Bottom line NO INCENTIVE, just a lot of hot air. Next we will see about the two free airline tickets anywhere in the country. probably a lot of restrictions. I will keep you posted. Buyer beware!
Desired outcome: live up to their promises...
Las Vegas Nv Club Blue Green
My daughter purchased a vacation package for two decided upon a date and then had to reschedule I arrived on schedule morning at 4 a.m. do to covid-19 test results my daughter wasn't able to check in when I texted on the following day August 27th . I peed deposit and tats for a reservation that never existed that company had canceled the reservation prior to my arrival without notifying anyone

I purchased a Vacation getaway
I purchased a vacation getaway on 02.25.2020, for $249.00 and was given a $50.00 gift card to Bass Pro at that time. I was to receive another $100.00 GC once I took the vacation (before the Global Pandemic.) I had made my reservations and when the shut down starting happening and cases on the rise, I got scared and called them on 03.16.2020 to tell them that I wanted out of this vacation. I was told it was early and that I shouldn't cancel as they are working through things and would extend it until 02.2022.
I reluctantly agreed as he was very persistent. I have called a few times to be told the same that travel was safe even thought I didn't feel safe.
I tried calling the Corporate office to no avail 561.912.8000. I called the Customer Service 1.800.845.1995 only to be transferred to Corp and be told I should have taken the refund within the 30 days. I explained that I tried, but was thought to believe that due to the Pandemic I would be able to cancel. Their solution today was to sell it to someone I know. She then went on to tell me that I should have read my contract and that there is no way they are going to refund my money as other business did not refund money and it wouldn't matter if I contacted the Atty General as they would be on their side. I said I would send them a letter and again was told it was going to come to the Corp Office which is were I was already speaking to.
I just want my money back and they can keep subtract the $50.00 GC and refund the rest. Please help me. Thank you

Loss of week
We are a weeks owner. We own week 42 at Orlando Sunshine Resort. We have to book there and then transfer it to another resort if we want to stay off property. But we have to book at our "home resort" first. We started calling in June with no luck. Finally today July 30th the lady really explained how everything worked. There are no rooms avaliable the rest of the year at Orlando Sunshine. So we do not have a week to trade to go to any other resort. We paid our maintenance fee in January and own our timeshare. But because they overbooked at Orlando Sunshine we do not have a week and we are out a vacation and our money this year. We talked to several different people and they all say we are just out of luck.
Overpromised and underdelivered...horrible customer service!
Recently purchased ownership with BlueGreen Vacations. First time to use it was a nightmare. We DID NOT receive the type of room that we were promised! I had no choice but to rent another hotel space for my family, costing me a large amount of money. It took me 3 weeks to get someone to talk to me on the phone. BlueGreen has made no effort to make things right. They breached our contract, but refuse to refund my money or reimburse me for my the out of pocket expenses I incurred due to their mistake. They are slick salesmen who make things sound really good, but their product and their customer service after the sale is lacking. They don't care about their customers, only care about making money off of innocent, hard working people.
