Boat ED A Comprehensive Boater Safety Course

As someone who values safety and education on the water, I recently took the Boat ED boater safety course and found it to be incredibly informative and well-structured. The course covered a wide range of topics, from basic boating knowledge to more advanced safety procedures. The interactive elements, such as videos and quizzes, made learning engaging and effective. I particularly appreciated the thoroughness of the content and the clear explanations provided throughout the course. Overall, I feel much more confident and prepared to navigate the waters safely after completing this course.

Boat ED Very thorough, great review questions along the way!

I enjoyed the course, and even though some of it did not apply to my pontoon, it was good imformation to have. I liked being able to do pieces at a time and being able to go back if I missed a review question to reread the information. I felt very confident taking our new pontoon out by myself as we are new boat owners. I also got $35 off my boat insurance for taking the course.

Boat ED Boat-ed Review: Frustratingly Long Timers on Each Page

I tried out Boat-ed for my boater safety card and I gotta say, the timer on each page is way too long. Like, seriously, it takes forever to move on to the next page because you gotta wait for the timer to expire. And it's not like the timer is set just right so you have time to read the page, nope, it's set so long that you'll finish reading the page way before the timer is up. It's a real bummer because it just slows down the whole process and makes it feel like a chore. I think I might try a different provider next time.

Boat ED First Cabin Boating Course: Boat-ed's California Boaters Card Review

Boat-ed's course for my California Boaters Card (CBC) was real good, man. It was all professional and stuff, and they really knew what they were talking about. The curriculum was laid out real nice, and the pictures and videos were cool. I learned a lot of new things, even though I've been sailing for like 50 years (started when I was just a little dude). I've taught sailing and owned my own boats, but this class still taught me new stuff. I'd say it's definitely worth checking out if you're looking to get your CBC. It's first cabin all the way, baby!

Boat ED Boat Ed: A Comprehensive Course for Safe and Confident Boating

i was pretty impressed with boat ed. i gotta say, i learned a lot of stuff that i never even thought about before. i mean, i don't even have a jet ski or anything like that, so some of the stuff was a little too much for me. but now that i'm done with the course, i'm glad i know it all. i've been driving a little boat for a long time, but now that we got a bigger one with more power, i feel like i'm a lot smarter and more confident. i'd even be down for a refresher course if they had one.

Boat ED Boat ED Review: Good for Learning Boating, Needs Improvements

Boat ED is a pretty good website to learn about boating. I think that the navigational section and fire extinguisher section could be more extensive so that I can remember everything better. The final sections were easy because they were just common sense. I think that anyone else would fly through them too.

I was confused about the final charge of $10. It took me a lot of time to figure out why I needed to pay more money. I had to click the back button a lot and search for an explanation. I think that most people will assume that the $34.95 in the beginning is the only payment. It would be easier if there were better instructions to get the verification ID # and an explanation of why the extra payment is needed.

Overall, I think that Boat ED is a good website to learn about boating. It just needs a few improvements to make it easier to use.

Boat ED Boat ED Course: A Long But Worthwhile Journey to Safe Boating

At first, I gotta say, I was a bit ticked off at how dang long this course was. But after I finished it up, I gotta admit, I feel like I know a whole lot more about boating and how to stay safe out on the water. I've been a boater and fisherman for over 40 years, so I thought I had it all figured out. But turns out, there was a whole lot I didn't know.

The course was easy to follow, which was a big relief. I ain't the best at book learnin', but the way they presented the material made it easy for me to understand. And now, I can say with confidence that I'm gonna be a safer boater.

I gotta give a shoutout to the folks at Boat ED for puttin' together such a great educational tool. I never thought I'd be sayin' this, but I'm actually grateful for how long the course was. It was worth it in the end. Thanks, Boat ED!

Boat ED Review of Boat ED Course: Good Content, Outdated Design

The Boat ED course content is pretty good, but the design is outdated. The videos are short and sweet, and they cover everything you need to know. They're also pretty entertaining, but the animation and quizzes slow you down. There's a lot of repetition between sections, and it would be better if they streamlined the course.

I used to work in a big company that taught people stuff, and I know that e-learning is changing a lot. People want to learn stuff like they watch Netflix or YouTube. They want it to be quick and easy, and then they want to move on. Research says that better design makes people learn better, and that's good for business. If you want to know more, you can email me at ***@comcast.net.

Boat ED Boat-Ed.com Review: Comprehensive Boating & Jet Ski Course with Clear Instructions & Valuable Resources

Boat ED (boat-ed.com) is a great website for anyone who wants to learn about boating and jet skiing. The instructions are clear and the content is very comprehensive. It's easy to review before taking the test because it's separated into chapters. After each chapter, there's a pretest given so the student can repeat or review for the final test.

The online booklet included for reference is the same booklet that comes with many life jackets. It's a great resource to have on hand. The videos in the course give how-to techniques on the use of boats and jet skis using real people performing tasks correctly. The course also uses animated examples which show how to follow boating laws and rules.

This course allows the student to stop and start in their own time. I was able to score 100% on the final exam after completing all segments over the course of about 5 weeks. However, I did have a little confusion about how to get the certificate when I finished. I found out that I could print it out from the website myself.

Overall, I definitely recommend this course. It's not expensive and the information is valuable. The course is designed in a way that makes it easy to learn and understand. The pretests after each chapter are a great way to reinforce the material. The videos and animated examples are also very helpful. If you're looking to learn about boating and jet skiing, this is the course for you.

Boat ED Boat-ed's California Boater Course: False Advertising and Overpriced

Boat-ed, man, they really got me going. They say that their California Boater Course only takes about 3 hours to complete, but let me tell you, that's a bunch of baloney. I mean, I'm not the smartest cookie in the jar, but I'm not a total dummy either. I took that course as fast as I could, and it still took me at least 6 hours to finish. And that's not even counting all the quizzes and tests they make you take. I mean, I aced all of them, but still, it takes time.

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying for a good course. But if you're gonna charge me more than other online companies, you better deliver on your promises. And Boat-ed, they just straight up lied to me. They said their course was the quickest, but it took me twice as long as they said it would. And I know I'm not the only one who's had this problem. I've talked to other people who took the course, and they all said the same thing.

So, if you're thinking about taking the California Boater Course, don't waste your money on Boat-ed. Look for another online company that's more honest about how long it takes to finish the course. I mean, there are plenty of options out there that are free or cheaper than Boat-ed. Don't fall for their lies like I did.

Boat ED Boat ED Review: Good Course, Terrible Customer Service, and Hidden Fees

I wanted to get my boat license for the lakes in NH, so I decided to sign up for Boat ED. The first thing I noticed was that I had to pay $50 before starting the online class. I didn't mind paying the fee, so I went ahead and paid it. After the payment, I was directed to download a mobile app. I found this a bit confusing, but I managed to download the app and started the online class.

The online class was interactive and informative, but it was a bit dragged out and took a while to go through. I found myself getting bored at times, but I persevered and completed the course. At the end of the course, I was directed to take the final exam. However, I was surprised to find out that I had to pay again before taking the exam. This was frustrating, and I tried to contact customer service to resolve the issue.

I called customer service, but I was greeted with a message that they were experiencing high call volume. They promised to call me back in the order they received my call, but I never received a call back. I also emailed customer service, but I didn't receive a response. I tried calling multiple times throughout the day, but I still didn't get through to customer service.

Since I needed my license for the summer, I decided to pay again and hope to talk to customer service and get reimbursed for my first payment. Unfortunately, I still didn't get through to customer service. I was getting frustrated, so I decided to dispute the payment with my bank. Luckily, Bank of America refunded me temporarily in two days, and I passed the final exam with flying colors.

Overall, I would give Boat ED one or two stars because of the lack of customer service. The interactive course on the app is pretty good, but it gets extremely boring after a while. If I had it my way, I would prefer to review the course material in book form and go straight to the practice and final exam. I would recommend doing proper research before choosing a website for your state that accepts proper NASBLA certifications. Many states accept different certifications, so be careful. There are lots of scam sites that offer certifications that aren't approved by the state.

Boat ED Disappointing Experience with Boat ED: Modules Useless, Test Unrelated, Customer Service Unhelpful

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience on Boat ED. I paid for the course and read through all the modules, even took some notes (I know, I know, you're not supposed to do that, but I did it anyway). When I got to the end and had to take the online test for my Canadian boaters license, I was shocked to find that none of the questions were covered in the modules. The terminology was different, the pictures of the buoys and signs didn't match up - it was a mess. I failed the first time around.

I got an email saying I could retake the test in 24 hours, so I did. This time, I knew the modules were useless, so I just Googled the stuff I didn't know and found a completely different boater education website. I passed the test, but when I didn't receive my card in the mail after 4 weeks, I started to get worried. I checked my account and it said I hadn't taken the exam at all. By the time I realized this, it had been more than 30 days, so I couldn't retake the test even if I wanted to.

I reached out to customer service, but it took weeks for them to respond. When they finally did, they didn't even attempt to help me - they just asked me to rate their service. It was pretty clear to me that they were just trying to take my money and run. I don't know how they have such high ratings on this site - they must be paying people off.

Boat ED Boat ED Review: Decent Course, But Customer Service Needs Improvement

Yo, so I gotta say, I had a bit of a rough time trying to get my boating license through Boat ED. It took me a whole week of calling, emailing, and messaging before I finally got through to them on their Facebook page. But hey, at least I finally got my card, even if there's a typo on it.

Overall, I gotta say that the course itself was pretty decent. It covered all the basics that I needed to know in order to safely operate a boat. The videos were a bit dry, but I guess that's to be expected when you're learning about boating regulations and safety procedures.

One thing that I did appreciate was the fact that I could take the course at my own pace. I'm a busy guy, so being able to fit the coursework in around my schedule was a big plus.

All in all, I'd say that Boat ED is a solid choice if you're looking to get your boating license. Just be prepared to do a bit of chasing if you run into any issues.

Boat ED Boat ED Review: A Straightforward and Easy-to-Navigate Course for Boating License

So, I was looking to get my boating license and stumbled upon Boat ED (boat-ed.com). At first, I was hesitant because I don't like the government or state telling me what to do, especially when it comes to being safe on a public lake. But, I decided to give it a shot anyways.

Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised! The course was easy to navigate and understand. I didn't feel like I was being talked down to or anything like that. It was just straight forward information that I needed to know to be safe on the water.

Now, I did notice that there was an option to pay an extra $15 to skip some of the course and take a shorter test. At first, I was like "screw you guys, I'm not paying extra money!" But, after going through the course, I realized that it might be worth it for some people who already have some boating knowledge and just need a refresher.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Boat ED to anyone looking to get their boating license. It's a solid course that will teach you everything you need to know to be safe on the water. And, if you're short on time, the option to pay extra for a shorter course is there for you.

Boat ED Boat ED Review: Certification Process Okay, But Delivery Issues

So, I had a bit of a rough time with Boat ED. I was trying to get my certification cards, and I ordered two of them. But, for some reason, they just didn't show up. I was pretty upset about it, and I kept complaining to the company. Finally, after months of waiting, I got my cards. It was weird, because it seemed like the company had no problem with the actual certification process, but they just couldn't get the cards to me.

Overall, I'm not sure if I would recommend Boat ED. On the one hand, they did eventually come through with my certification cards. But on the other hand, it took them a really long time, and I had to do a lot of complaining to get them to do it. So, if you're looking for a company that's really reliable and efficient, this might not be the best choice. But if you're willing to be patient and persistent, you might be able to get what you need from them eventually.

Boat ED Disappointing Experience with Boat ED: Payment Issues and Lack of Support

So, I was really excited to start this course on Boat ED (boat-ed.com). I paid for it and was ready to dive in, but then I hit a snag. It kept telling me that I needed to pay again, even though I already had. I was pretty frustrated, to say the least. I tried calling, messaging, and emailing the support team for two whole weeks, but I never got a response. It was like they didn't even care about my problem.

At this point, I'm pretty fed up. I don't want to waste any more time or money on this course if I can't even access it. I'm thinking about contacting my credit card company to see if I can get my money back. It's just not worth the hassle.

Overall, I'm really disappointed with my experience on Boat ED. I was hoping to learn a lot and become a better boater, but instead I just wasted my time and money. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and find a different course to take.

Boat ED Boat ED Review: Good Content, But Be Prepared for Delays and Technical Issues

Boat ED is a website that helps you get your boating license. I used it to get mine and it was a pretty good experience. However, there were a couple of issues that I had with the website.

Firstly, it took a really long time for me to receive my card. I had to wait for 6 weeks before I finally got it. I even had to email them after the first three weeks because I hadn't received it yet. They told me that it was lost in the mail, which was really careless of them.

Secondly, I had some problems with the website when I was doing my final test. It took me 3 weeks to complete it because of some issues they were having. It was really frustrating because I just wanted to get it done and over with.

Overall, I would recommend Boat ED if you're looking to get your boating license. The content is good and it's easy to use. However, just be prepared to wait a while for your card and be patient if you have any issues with the website.

Boat ED Boat ED Review: Great Course, Terrible Technical Issues and Customer Support

I ain't gonna lie, I was pretty excited to take the boating course on Boat ED. The course was pretty well put together and I was learning a lot. But then, when it came time to take the exam and get my certificate, I hit a major roadblock. The website was all messed up and I couldn't take the exam. I was pretty bummed out, especially since I had already shelled out $79 for the course.

So, I reached out to the help desk for some assistance. But, it's been three whole days and I haven't heard back from anyone. I mean, come on, what's the deal? I'm starting to feel like my money has been wasted and I'm not getting the support I need to finish the course.

Overall, I think Boat ED has a lot of potential. The course itself was great and I learned a lot. But, if they can't get their technical issues sorted out and provide better customer support, then what's the point? I hope they can fix these problems soon, because I really want to finish the course and get my certificate.

Boat ED Boat ED Review: Technical Issues and Lack of Customer Support Made it Impossible to Complete Course

I paid for my boater safety course on July 31st, 2020. I was excited to start learning about boating safety and get my certification. However, when I tried to access the website, I encountered an error. I thought it was just a technical issue and decided to wait until Monday, August 3rd, to try again.

To my dismay, when I logged in on August 3rd, the website said that the 90-day period had already expired and that I needed to pay again. I was shocked and confused. How could the 90-day period have already expired when I hadn't even started my course and it had only been 7 days since I paid?

I tried to contact customer service for help. I sent emails and made phone calls, but to no avail. I received no response and no assistance. I felt frustrated and disappointed. I had paid $45 for a course that I couldn't even access.

Overall, my experience with Boat ED was a waste of time and money. The technical issues on the website and the lack of customer support made it impossible for me to complete my boater safety course. I would not recommend this website to anyone looking to get certified in boating safety.
