Beware of the Bob Fitzgerald expired listing program. Bob's sales staff are targeting top producing agents around they country. The sales pitch is that they will call all of the expired seller listings and for sale by owners in your area and set appointments for you. The promise is that you will take 10 listings in 90 days. I was told that they pre-qualify all of these appointments and I all needed to do was basically show up to the appointment they scheduled and sign the listing agreement. Bob's staff will tell you anything you want to hear to get you to sign up. They charge you $5, 000 up front and a 20% referral fee. This sounds great. It has now been over 7 months and I have yet to take a single listing. Nearly every appointment that Bob's staff set for me was complete garbage. The did absolutely no pre-qualifying on these sellers. Many of the appointments were set in areas that I don't service. Nearly every seller appointment I called had no intention of listing with me when I showed up. In fact, they were completely unrealistic or unmotivated to sell. Many of them were completely underwater on their mortgages and had no intentions of short selling or listing. In 7 months Bob's team averaged less than 2 appointments per month! All of them were garbage. I was told that Bob's team would be calling the expired list every day. I was lucky if they call 1 day out of the whole week or month. I even sent them lists to call for the past 6 months. They never called any of them. When I confronted Bob about the complete failure of his commitment to produce 10 listings in 90 days he said they never promised them in 90 days. He said I paid $5, 000 for a 90 day coaching program... Not only did I never received any coaching whatsoever, I also never received any listings. Who in their right mind would pay $5, 000 for a coaching program. Their agreement which I will attach is a scam. It looks like it is 10 listings in 90 days. However, they can skew it another way. Bob said he doesn't care if it takes his team 5 years to get 10 listings. When I asked for a refund Bob became completely defensive and rude. I even offered to take a loss of half. He has not responded. As of today I have not received a lead in over 2 weeks again. The last one they sent claimed to be a "Hot Lead". When I called the seller she wouldn't even consider listing her home again with a Realtor. She only wanted to be a for sale by owner and wouldn't budge. Any fool can setup an appointment for me to call them back. All Bob's team is doing is setting appointments for me to call the seller back. Then when I call them back they are un-qualified and unrealistic about selling. I might as well be calling these people myself. The service is a scam. If you google Bob's name you will find other postings of previous business scam's he has run on people. I also posted this to my facebook account in which other Realtors across the country and also claiming that they have been scammed the same way. Also, since I was a top producing Realtor Bob starting using my name to get other Realtors to sign up for his service. I hadn't even used them yet and didn't give them permission. BEWARE!
@GladRealtor. I have plenty of listings on the board. Over 150 closed homes sales in the past 2 years. 3 more closing next week and under 3 in contract this past weekend. Don't point fingers when you don't know what you are talking about. If I am told that I should expect "softball leads" then that's what I am going to hold someone accountable to. Bob agreed to reimburse me for half. I agreed. This posting will be removed soon. Problem resolved.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
After the intial 2 months of no activity. I requested Bob Fitzgerald Coaching return my $5, 000. I had emailed Bob Fitzgerald, I emailed his wife Jodi Countryman Fitzgerald who is a Keller Williams Agent in the Greater Rochester office and I emailed Cheri Washburn, the President of Bob Fitzgerald Coaching and also Jodi Countryman Fitzgeralds closing co-ordinator. I called and left messages at different numbers etc...Cheri Washburn the "President" of this company did call me back, only after I threatened legal recourse. Her response was very similar to Bob Fitzgerald's on this website, shifting the blame to me for not doing FSBO's in addition to the expireds. I supplied the list from REDX, Bob Fitzgerald coaching never made a call. What you're going to get when you sign up is an enthusiastic, over promising sales pitch promising telemarketers calling at all hours of the day. The principal owners, Bob Fitzgerald & Jodi Countryman Fitzgerald of Keller Williams Greater Rochester do not respond to communications. When I asked for a refund Cheri Washburn said to call Bob Fitzgerald. He did not return my call or email.
My name is Greg Flanagan - I am a licensed RE/MAX real estate broker in Charleston SC. I am successful. I hire people to do the tasks that I either have no time to do or care not to do. I bulldog leads within minutes of receiving them. I set appointments. I sell houses. Bob Fitzgerald Coaching did not perform on their side of this contract. Bob Fitzgerald if you want to discuss this with me call [protected].
I have also been trying to reach Bob and his office refuses to give me his contact phone number and I haven't even received a lead in 7 months! It appears that Bob Fitzgerald is in the business of taking money and not providing services. Bob, please call me to discuss.

I am a very good agent and follow up quickly with anything viable! Problem is these guys do not generate leads...Period! Over the last two years I have sent them somewhere between 8, 000-10, 000 numbers to call on and joined both Landvoice & RedEx in addition to sending the pre-scrubbed phone lists from my title company. In that two year period I received 5 weak leads...Yes that's 5 leads in two years and none for almost a year now even though I have continued to send them numbers to call on! Zero listings! This company may call for you at first but after awhile they need to focus on the latest victim who sends them money. At this point you will be sending them numbers for nothing! This is a simple Ponzi Scheme with a twist!
If I have saved even one agent money with this post I feel victorious! Your Friend Eric / Realty One Group in So Cal
It is 2013 and I was just ripped off by this man. Bob Fitzgerald and his so called service is a scam.
I was prospected by them and I thought -wow they are so peristent to get my business- that must translate into their prospecting to get me business. So-I hired them. The worst 5K I ever spent. They not only did not call for me as they promised on a regular basis but when they did make calls- the few leads they sent were not good leads. Sometimes the prospects would say to me - I told them I wasnt interested. I actualy found that I "lost" time with the few BAD leads they sent. The people they hire are basically minimum wage operators who they trained on the Ferry scripts. If this is their formula-and you want to try it out- hire someone at minimum wage in your area- give them the Ferry scripts and have them do this JUST for YOU. They do not refund and when I told Bob Fitzgerald that I would have to report to my company team leader who had been asking me about them (just like you!)WELL-here is the sickest part: Bob Fitzgerald wrote this to me: (this is an actual quote from an email from him to me) " I can call every seller you have, find those that don't like your service and post that all over the web." Stay away from them/him.
I just filed a complaint here and on rip off review. What a rip off, same story except I thought I had done well negotiating with them down to $3000. No wonder they discounted the service, there was none. Their references lied too. Don't waste your money...I hope more people complain to put them out of business! I did my part to receive a few uninterested, Poor leads, no communication, never again. Colleen - Daytona Beach, FL
If this program was so great, and this guy wasn't a crook, his company would except credit card payments. Since he it's such a scam artist he only takes cash. Total crook that I hope rots in hell. Do no get involved with him!
This company is a total scam! That is why they won't take credit cards once paid, regardless of your experience, your money is gone. I am telling you to save your money. And be ware of the 3 Keller Williams agents that this company must pay to give such glowing feedback. Don't use this company. Prospecting does work but NOT BY USING BOB FITZGERALD'S COMPANY. I was in the Top 1% or Realtors in Chicago and I am telling you don't, please don't give them your money. There are definitely more effective ways do get leads that would cost you a lot less. STAY AWAY!
I was promised the fee I paid them $5, 000.00 would be refundable after 6 months of trying their system and found it unsatisfactory. Did not receive leads as promised.
I have been contacted by this firm on several occasions. At first I thought this could be a viable option considering the pitch.
The problem I had and have is they want 5, 000.00 for a service they claim to provide but I haven't found anyone who has been successful. 5, 000 in certified funds, no less.
This is an excerpt from Kathy Murtha from Fitzgerald Coaching.
Any sale below $200, 000 is a flat $250 broker to broker referral fee and any closed listing over $200, 000 is a 20% referral fee on the listing side at closing. No referral fees under $100, 000. The more listings you purchase the less you pay per listing.
Level 1 membership 10 Closed Listings = $5, 000 + Referral Fee
Level 2 membership 17 Closed Listings = $7, 500 + Referral Fee
Level 3 membership 25 Closed Listings = $10, 000 + Referral Fee
Something seemed amiss with all of this so I started researching the company. Thanks to the initial complaint and several just like it I realized this is some sort of scam or scheme to defraud you out of your money. I spoke with a guy named Jeremy around 2-3 months ago who got aggressive and downright rude when I explained to him that I didn't have any interest in working with this company. Today I received a phone call from Alan (i think) who also got offended when I told him their BBB rating is so bad there's no way I'd consider their services now or ever. He tried calling back a few times but I don't have any more time to waste.
Beware these people and beware bs scams like Fitzgerald Coaching. Your pocket will thank you.
Anyone else think Bob Fitzgerald is a HUGE TOOL? I received a call from one of his guys today named Mike. Told the guy I wasn't interested and he kept pressing so I finally hung up. He then calls me back to tell me I'm rude and unprofessional. Hello, you're the dude who just called back someone who said they weren't interested and then acting like an ### Mike. Interestingly enough I'm also on the do not call list so I reported VIP Prospecting the NTC right before I typed this. Seems after reading reviews on several sites that Bob needs to train his staff on how to be professional. The fact he is trying so hard to justify screwing people who signed up with him and his garbage company tells me all I need to know about Bob.
I would have to agree with the complaint. Bob is right though that it is the agent that takes the listing not him. The problem here is that the coaching team promises several appointments per week and does not deliver. I spent $10, 000 as well and sent 3000 quality leads with 90% of them Expired listings and the only appointments I had were 3 FSBO appointments. The problem I have is that I was promised 1-2 appointments per week and got 3 over a 2-3 month period (from 3000 leads). I trusted them and the 3 agents they sent for a reference. I should have trusted the majority of agents who felt that they were scammed. I wish I would have.
Has anyone gotten anywhere getting their $5, 000 back? There has to be some kind of justice.

For the people bob has screwed, here is his facebook https://www.facebook.com/coachbobfitzgerald and here is his daughters facebook account https://www.facebook.com/ali.fitzgerald1 and his wives https://www.facebook.com/jodi.c.fitzgerald.3
Steve diggler that's horrible. No offense but you're worse than he is for posting his kids facebook on here it's one thing to go after the company but you leave someone children out of it. Literally
I think the's the worst thing I've seen on this page so far.
My number is on the Do Not Call list, and has been since 2004. I wouldn't have been upset had this girl not been sarcastic, rude, and hung up on me. Then I called back to tell them to take me off their list, and she picked up the call, but won't say anything. Filing a complaint with the National Do Not Call registry.
There is a reason why so many people are complaining about the program. I signed up and paid Bob Fitzgerald's company $5, 000 last year for leads in my area. We have not received a single lead and his staff are completely unresponsive to our inquiries etc. Both of our professions are based on reputation, and I have to wonder after reading this why so many are standing up for his practices... They are obviously scamming many realtors and seem to be getting away with it. I would very much like to talk with others who have been scammed and put together a law suit to prevent this in the future. Please feel free to contact me

Adding my voice to the dissatisfied posts here. Bob Fitzgerald will never return your phone calls or emails. He hides behind Cheri Washburn and Shauna Kelley who will tell you to get in touch with him. Scam operation through and through. Also...are their callers licensed in your state? Don't make a bad decision worse. Wait...it's not a problem because they actually don't call on your behalf. Call me if you want to hear my story and how I was able to get $3K back of my $5K "investment". [protected].
Wish I would have done this research ahead of time. Terrible customer service and no good leads. Money wasted.
They call themselves "listing referral group" and on another site "prospecting works" http://www.listingreferralgroup.com www.coachjameshoughtaling.com The bad reviews must have forced them to change the names.
Like so many others on this thread, I paid the $5000 and got 2 "someday" leads. Going to be selling someday. Neither had the slightest hint of being motivated (as promised). Have sent many emails, and texts to the client manager Meg and the owner Bob, with one response. Bob said he was going to have Meg reach out to me, that was about two months ago. Now I cannot find a working number. STAY AWAY!
Let’s all get together and take these guys down!
If any of you are thinking of using the Listing Referral Group, Inc, BEWARE this is a scam. we were hustled out of $5, 000. No appointments scheduled at all. When we called the primary, he blamed us for not following up continually with the leads that we paid for and provided to them. He blamed us for not securing the appointments when that is exactly what they said that they would do for us, get the appointments. On a side bar, we are the top team in our office and #3 in the entire Midwest region for Keller Williams. we asked for a prorated refund over and over again. I congratulated him on taking our money. I never heard from him again.
I and a few other agents are preparinig complaints for the NY AG. If anyone is interested in discussing, please find my facebook group "Listing Referral Group Scam" and reach out.
