BookMyForex Order cancelled and refund not received

I booked an order on Bookmyforex on (31.12.2021) and had to cancel the order due to incorrect service selected. I am waiting for my refund for the past two weeks but there is no response from Bookmyforex. All I can hear from the customer care people are your cancellation is processed, but there is no refund. I am eagerly waiting for the refund.

I have to place an order only once my money is refunded. Kindly look into the issue as early as possible.

BookMyForex Delay in refund and non response

Dear Sir,

We booked a transaction for transfer USD 1000 to USA on 23-12-21 vide no- FX237005469102 and equivalent amount was transferred to bookmyforex and acknowledgment was received.

As some extra charges was asked to pay so as to receive the full 1000 USD after transfer of money to book my forex we requested to cancel the transaction and requested for refund. All the documents as per the request of the executive along with cancelled cheque was submitted on 23-12-2021 but till date we have not received the refund nor any reply.

We have sent several mails and called customer care but despite assurance payment has not been refunded till date.

Hello, They refunded your money after your complaint. I am piling up all these issues and is going to prepare a detailed report on how these guys are boosting up their liquidity by acts like these. Even if they do with 1% of customers, its sufficient cash for the business owners to artificially inflate their liquidity and invest in other ventures. I am contacting all the complainants with similar issues so that i can get an interest on the money for the duration they kept your money for. Also Next step is to get their license cancelled so that they stop doing such scams to other people.

BookMyForex Refund for the cancelled order

Hi team,

I was referred to your website by a friend, however, I must tell you how disappointed I am with this reference.
Your company has given me the worst service ever received. Your browser is broken, app has bugs.
I was looking for some forex and I managed to book an order (FX231438433029) via your app, however, at the payment page, it didn't give me an option to pay WITHOUT paying advance payment first and holding the rates.
I never intended to hold any rates (rates were infact higher), all I wanted was to book an order, pay for it and get the forex.

Since your app didn't let me go through without advance payment, I made the advance payment using internet banking (with some payment glitches on card payment).
I kept texting your chat support for 4 days, however, no proper response from anyone. Called your customer support number multiple times, no response on it either.

I did receive a call from your partner, and only thing they mentioned is, asking for the full money to be deposited, while I had questions that needed to be answered, they were unable to answer any queries and asked me to get in touch with BMF, where no will respond.

So I was stuck with an order, which I paid some advance amount and had questions to be responded by someone, while BMf will have no response. I sent multiple emails asking for someone to reach out to me in regards to my queries, yet no response. Very strange thing is, the e-receipt that I received for the payment, all
Email addresses in this email, doesn't work (you get an error when reply to any of them)

Frustrated with such a pathetic customer service, I decided to cancel the order bcoz I cannot deal with a company where no one is responding.

Strangely, I get to know that my so called "refundable deposit" will be forefited upon cancellation.

This was not mentioned to me while I paid for it. Additionally, as mentioned above, I didn't want to pay the advance money for any rate holding, I had to do it as no option was available to skip this part.

I demand a refund of my "Refundable amount" back to my account as I have cancelled the order.

This clearly seems like a scam to forfeit so called "refundable amount". How is it refundable, if you are forfeiting the amount upon cancellation? Why this information is not provided at the time of payment? Why customer cannot skip this option to avoid paying advance payment?

BookMyForex Bookmyforex travel card

This is with regards to the order number FX230632746517, which I booked through your travel card partner Bookmyforex. I received the card yesterday morning. But when I try to activate it in ICICI CMS Self Care Portal, I am getting an error "Error occurred in validating card"

Also the card that I have received has the Valid from period as Valid from - 03/20, which is almost 1.7 years old.

In BookMyForex application, the bank partner is showing as Yes bank, but I have received ICICI bank card. Am I delivered the wrong card?

Request you to please help resolving the above queries ASAP, as my travel date is nearing very soon.

BookMyForex New forex card issuance

Firstly Bookmyforex have the worst customer care, there is no one to pick the call at the other end. I did try for multiple days with no response from their online or through chat function due to this I had to reduce my Forex load from 1500 GBP to 500 GBP. And when I risked applying for a card I was delivered a old card with already lapsed period of around 20 months out of 5 year. I request to please replace my card or else provide me full refund at earliest so I can get another forex card which will probably give me card with full validity.

Desired outcome: Replacement of Forex card or Refund including any transaction transaction charges and GST)

BookMyForex Not processing the current order and giving excuses and delaying everything

I have made a payment of 14, 70, 578 Rupees to SBM through Bookmyforex.
They are giving excuses and not executing the process and when I contacted them they told that one document is missing. No one contacted me regarding the same and still my order is in the process.

BookMyForex Failed transaction and non refund

Hi, I had transferred $1350 to their SBM branch Mumbai on Jul 30th. Though the beneficiary details that I had provided was perfect, same as a previous successful transaction last year, this transaction was reported as failed due to invalid beneficiary details. I was expecting the refund atleast, and it's been close to a month of following up with multiple emails, and no one dares to get back or even pick up a call. On top of this, they wanted to deduct almost Rs 12K from the refund amount. Pathetic customer service. I request to go with regular banks though the conversion rate is higher, atleast you can talk to someone there to get things resolved.

To BookMyForex team - my order id - FX2244914126332. Request to resolve this at the earliest.

BookMyForex Non refund of cancelled forex order fx224849499796

My brother was travelling to USA on August 5th 2021 and we booked an order for Forex card from Bookmyforex on August 2nd 2021(as per website any order placed before 1PM will be processed the same day).We had also paid 2% upfront to lock in the rates. But an executive from Bookmyforex called and informed they will need 7 days to get the forex card delivered.

Since it was not possible to wait that long we asked him to cancel and initiate a refund for the amount paid via UPI almost 53000 for loading into the card + 1500 for locking the rates. Though executive informed he will cancel the order nothing was done from their end and we cancelled the order next day using the option provided in their website. No receipt of cancellation has been sent for tracking.

As per website guidelines it states the refund will happen if via NetBanking in 5-7 business days. Since payment was done by us via UPI I assume it should be the same. But we have not received any refund till date nor a confirmation of refund.

Tried reaching their customer care after a wait of 30 minutes call was answered the executive asked me to be on hold for a minute since was trying to check order status, but call was dropped without any help. Tried calling again after 45 minutes of waiting the moment the ring went it was cut abruptly. This is really a pathetic service and wasting ones time for placing belief on them.

Kindly help in getting a full refund of any fees paid to Bookmyforex because all they have done is giving mental stress and holding our money without any information keeping us in the dark. Kindly don't trust their promises which they never try to keep.

Thanks for processing the refund but note I have received the refund only today. And you need serious changes in the process the customer service is totally irresponsive and no proper communication was received on this matter from the initial stages.

The process deals with hard earned money and no one should go through this ordeal of having no communication or information about what will happen to their money deposited with you guys.

BookMyForex Poor customer service

Hi,

Please fix the Customer Service which is currently terrible in BookMyForex.

1. I have requested a call back from your website and no one called me back.

2. I have tried calling customer care ([protected]) and waited in line for 20 min to talk and the representative spoke for 20-30 seconds and then he put the call on hold and never answered. I called again and waited in line for 35 min but no one picked the call.

3. Also, I tried to use the chat with the representative option on their website but it is worse. It took 15 to assign the representative, and then he took 15 min to reply to my first question, and then he took 10-15 min for every subsequent question.

Please these issues or your business will get hurt badly in the near future due to poor customer service

BookMyForex Bookmyforex money transfer video fx223050144377

Whoever is reading this, please beware of these guys, as they will confirm you that the remittance will be delivered by a day or two, but they'll sit back and work as per their schedule. I am attaching the confirmation mail they sent me which is why I preferred bookmyforex, but the remittance is not transferred even after 5 days and my friend in USA is going to sue me for this.
They're not even reachable as the executive who was supporting me before the money was paid, never replied to my mails after the payment is made. She is just gone underground and I had to wait long queues to just reach the customer care executive who is THE only one guy "Mr. Saurav" who replies to my queries.
If you want your money to be transferred within 24 hours, then I can guarantee you, these guys aren't the perfect solution. GO for some something else but NOT Bookmyforex. These guys are not professionals as they don't value others time.

BookMyForex Transfer not completed, more than 3 weeks already

I had made an overseas money transfer from bookmyforex, it has been 13 days now, the beneficiary has still not received the money. No structured response on calling the customer service, very irresponsible and unresponsive service. Please help me resolve the issue.

BookMyForex No response related to missing funds

Have transferred inr 40 lakhs on 3rd of march 2021 to bank of mauritius, as guided by bookmyforex and to be transferred to singapore but I have no confirmation of this transfer and the amount is not reflected in beneficiaries account also t.ll 5 pm of 8th of march. More than 5 days
Am getting the only response that they are working on it and will get back. In today's world of connected systems the delay is too much and really painful and stressing.
Monetary loss is also adding up and who will be responsible for same. It is really difficult to contact anyone in bookmyforex once you need any information or support. They are all there while booking an order. Had a very high expectation as per their name but!?

BookMyForex Reloading the Forex Card

Hi Team,

My order ID FX217006424569 to upload my Forex card. It has been a week that I am waiting to get the order completed. The moment i was buying the card I was ensured of a hassel free uploading from anywhere in the world. Now what do you expect from me, should I be on the call with the customer care from the UK for more than 15 mins and not getting to speak to any of them and also to fill up paper forms and send it to you. What is the point of going online then when you are still stick with paper work. Also, you guys don't have international contact number nor you guys give a call back on international phone numbers.

I would not recommend anyone to use bookmyforex while travelling overseas.

I completely agree. The same thing is happening with me! I have already made the payment for the reload and even have a payment confirmation to upload a balance of USD 500 and it's been over 3 days now and my card still hasn't been reloaded.
Their customer service is Absolutely UNRESPONSIVE. Their Live Chat feature doesn't work. No one responds to emails. One is left wondering has the company shut down or something.
In spite of sending multiple emails, no response. I would NEVER recommend BookMyForex to anyone.

BookMyForex Funds not being released since 15+ days

I used book my forex services while immigrating to Canada considering the competitive ex rates they offer.
However the DD issued by them (nearly 10 lac INR), has now been pending for verification by their Channel Partner since approx 15 days. Note that they have my funds for more than one month now (considering 14 days of quarantine added to the wait time). They are unable to provide timelines as to when it will be cleared. I am now stuck in Canada without being able to pay my rent, buy any groceries or even winter clothing (considering winter is approaching). Also the landlord is being nasty since I haven't paid her. I am having to live in a new country with a feeling of not having a roof over my head, not sufficient food to eat and a weather to face without appropriate warm clothes. All this due to book my forex and they are still unable to give any timeline when this will be cleared. Pathetic experience. Do not recommend at all.

BookMyForex Forex Card

Today 4th March 2020, i have places and order with reference Number:
FX201796947501.

I needed an cash notes but Forex card is been placed and there is no way to change the order, when checked with customer care they asked to cancel the order and for cancellation they will deduct 2 % amount.

This is not acceptable, 2% for just changing the order even before it complete ? this is fraud, i will like to send notice to BookMyForex and take this matter to consumer court.

BookMyForex NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT ISSUE - FX200772451065

I am using BookMyForex since I came to USA, and they have been a charm with its service.

I am studying in USA, and recently I had to transfer funds to my college, so I booked an order amounting $ 2750.

I am attaching an email with this message which says due to some reason my bank didn't allow me transact upto 25K through RTGS/ NEFT with netbanking facility for the said ACCOUNT NUMBER given to me by your people. And, my parents are out of town due to some medical emergency. Hence, it was urgent, and I had to change my method of payment to FLYWIRE for fee payment at my university.

I can't talk over call since I am abroad. And the email service is not helping me, they are saying If I am not able to make the payment in three days, my refund will be forfeited amounting upto INR 4K which is 2% of payment which was not mentioned anywhere during its payment.

Now, I don't have enough funds amounting $ 2750 payment since I already transferred through FLYWIRE which was pretty expensive. At this moment, I can only spare upto INR 50K and load the forex card and my refund stays with me.

Else, you guys keep the deposit until I make the next payment of $ 2750 in a month. Till then, I will be ready to pay more even if your dollar rate changes.

Atleast I expected some kind of help on this one but none of your experts are able to assist me through emails.

BookMyForex refundable deposit not refunded back

Hi

I had selected wrong product(Forex card instead of Currency Notes) at the time of placing the order. So I called their support team to check if I can cancel the order and if I will get the refund amount back. Support executive Abhimanyu told yes I can cancel the order and I will get the refund.

But it's been 3 days and I have not got refund. I have sent multiple emails but no reply yet.

BookMyForex advance money not refunded back

Hi,

I am currently in US, pursuing my masters. I loaded money in a forex card through BookMyforex and they took advance of Rs. 55000 to freeze the rate. After loading all the amount by September 19, I asked them the refund which they initiated by October 3. Today is Nov 11 and I haven't received my refund. Their customer service is the worst and even the top manager that i am in contact with is not helping.
I am not sure what to do?

BookMyForex payment delayed

I have placed an order with Book my Forex for AED current worth Rs 1, 15, 946/- on 10 th May. They could not process my order and load AED currency to my Forex Card in time and I have requested for the refund of my money . I have been following up with them for last 5 months, but I am yet to receive my refund.

Recently they have sent a Demand Draft for partial amount. However, it was more than 3 months old (date) and bank has informed me that it is not valid when I tried to deposit the DD amount into my account. I have tried to contact them over mail and I am receiving only vague responses from them. Kindly help me out by suggesting a suitable approach to get my money back.
