Kenneth was able to do what two other techs could not - repair our 30-yr-old AC system. Not only that, a year ago before Covid, he fixed our heating system, which hadn't worked for a long time. Kenneth is smart, personable, and great at his job! Worth every star! As a result, we signed on for a semi-annual maintenance program with B-P. Thanks!

Juan Molina with Brody Pennell was great in diagnosing the problem with our central heat, fixing the problem, and setting us up for regular maintenance to make sure the HVAC unit continues to work optimally. He accessed our roof where the unit is located safely and knew exactly what he was doing. He put protective booties on top of his shoes every time he entered our home to keep it clean. He was professional and knowledgeable. We highly recommend him.

Brody Pennell has been our go-to HVAC team for many years. We recently found our condenser fan not working. We contacted BP and Rene Morales, our technician, was at our home the next morning. He diagnosed the problem, resolved it, and was gone within the hour. We were on their annual maintenance plan which allowed us over 20 years of use with our old HVAC system. The new system is now under the same maintenance contract which ensures us the highest level of service. Huge thanks to a company that knows how to treat a customer.

We have been with Brody for over 30 years. At our regular 3 mo maintenance our technician Emmett was informed, efficient and helpful resetting our nests. He was also very careful with our house which had been newly painted and carpeted. Always feel that we get good service.

We had a wonderful experience! Luis was our consultant and Sal and Val were the technicians who put new A/C units on our roof. They were so hard working and everything was set up perfectly. They are extremely honest and hardworking and we were very impressed with the level of service provided.

Hoping that future repairs will be made as needed at reasonable cost. Employees and staff are always extremely friendly and easy to work with. Communication is excellent.

They did a good job on an antique gravity feed furnace replacing the gas valve and thermostat
They did a good job on an antique gravity feed furnace replacing the gas valve and thermostat. We have used them for several years for servicing and this year we wanted to replace the thermostat which required replacing the sticky gas valve. It took a couple of days to order the part and an hour to install them both. Now we have heat!
The technician who came out to my house was Emmith Horton. I must say that he went over and above normal service. He was so knowledgeable and efficient. There was a problem that I thought was my thermostat, but it turned out that the furnace was not plugged in and was some how attached to the plug of the water heater, he understood that and talked to my plumber on the phone. He gave me his extension cord to help het my heat back on. I would really like him to be the person to service my house when I next call for service on my maintence agreement. You are so lucky to have him...very nice man!

My central air conditioning unit stopped producing cold air after maintenance service
My central air conditioning unit stopped producing cold air after maintenance service. Subsequent recommended services resulted in a worse problem. I am filing a complaint based on a series of events. I have been a long-time customer with Brody for the past 20 years (since 2000 in my previous home) due to their excellent customer service and trustworthiness. However, recent events have made me feel that they are being dishonest and not owning up to their mistake. I have had biannual maintenance service (paying *** per year) since 10 when I moved to our current home. In fact, Brody installed a humidifier and electronic air filter system soon after we moved in. We recently had our summer maintenance service on 9/16 by technician *** At the end of the service, *** recommended that the freon level was *** below optimal levels and recommended filling 1 lb. for *** and also recommended installing a condensate overflow switch as a safety measure. However, after that service, the air conditioning was no longer providing cold air, though it was providing cold air prior to the 9/16 service. As soon as I noted that the air conditioning unit was no longer producing cold air, I called Brody Pennel and made an appointment for 9/23. I trusted *** advice and agreed to having both services (topping off Freon and installing the condensate overflow switch) for *** During the 9/23 service, the same technician *** came and performed the services. *** admitted that he had set the air conditioning at a lower output setting before he left on 9/16 than previously done in the past. As soon as he increased the output, I felt cold air from the unit even prior to the addition of *** did complete the installation of installing the condensate overflow switch and topped off Freon on 9/23. We left town and did not turn on the air conditioning unit until we returned on 10/2 night. On that night, we quickly realized that the air coming out of the air conditioner is NOT cold at all! We left the unit on for over 3 hours, but the temperature did not lower to no avail. I emailed Brody customer service regarding this situation early am 10/3 since the heat kept me from falling asleep. Customer service called me on 10/3 am and was able to set up an appointment for the same day. A different technician *** came on 10/3 afternoon. He very quickly noted that there was no freon in the system and showed me a negative number reading on his gauge. He stated that there must be a leak in the system. Our choice was to pay *** for him to run a diagnostic to figure out the source of the leak. I voiced my disbelief of this assessment since it seemed too coincidental that a complete leak of the freon would occur so soon after topping off the freon which was not that low to start with. *** later mentioned that our air conditioning unit is over 14 years old and needs to be replaced. He said that it was not worth spending money to search for a leak and to fix an old system. From my perspective, my air conditioning unit was working well before this maintenance service. At all prior biannual services since 2006 (at least 22 service visits), there has been no mention of freon level being low or any leaks. At the 9/16 visit, Carlos reported the freon level at ~15% below optimum and there was no mention of any leak. There was also no mention of any freon leak either during the 9/23 visit. I suspect that something must have been performed inadequately during the 9/23 visit that led to the freon leak or the air conditioning unit not providing cold air. Instead of resolving this issue, I was told to spend more and more money to fix a problem that I believe was created by Brody. I don't believe in such coincidence! Also, if what Rene said is correct that our air conditioning is too old to be fixed, the other technician Carlos should not have advised me to top off freon and install the condensation overflow switch.
