Rip off! Buyer beware! Dont buy here!
We bought a 50" led tv in sept. 2019 and had problems with it shutting off 10 seconds after powering it up right from the beginning. Visions told us the issue was a hitachi problem for the first year and that they only honor warranty repair for the second year. I had the tv looked at by hitachi reps and they tried replacing several parts but the issues kept happening after several days of repair. They then told me it was the telus digital box so I had it replaced and the problem persisted so I called hitachi back and they said it was now visions issue as it was beyond the first year. So I called visions and they now tell me I had to be a visions reward customer and we cancelled it after a month - all we did was unsubscribe from getting the barrage of emails they sent us. They say they will not honor the 2 year warranty we purchased because of this. So we spent $500 on a tv that is a piece of crap and visions wont honor the warranty. Because we opted out of receiving emails? Ridiculous... Never again.
Visions Electronics - 49” samsung tv
Bought a Samsung TV on Saturday from Visions, got it home only to discover there was a crack in the screen. Packed it back up and returned to the store (all within 40 minutes). The Store Manager said he couldn't exchange it that we'd have to deal with Samsung directly. He knew were obviously not impressed with this lack of service, and he said he'd call Samsung himself to expedite the matter. He said we'd hear from Samsung on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. Thursday night, and still no phone call. I returned to the store myself this evening and a Sales Manager said there was nothing he could do, "these things take time". He called the Store Manager who said the same thing. After I said we could just call the credit card company and dispute the charge since the product was returned his response was "do whatever" and he walked away.
The lack of customer service at this location is brutal. Previous store management were great and always went above and beyond. I'd purchased over $40, 000 in electronics from this location for both personal and commercial use through previous management (Rico) and their head office (Max). This $700 broken tv and brutal customer service has just lost you all future business.
Visions Electronics - jabra storm bluetooth headset
I purchased the Jabra Storm Bluetooth Headset on Boxing Day as a gift. The seal was broken to be able to look at the headset without taking out of the box. I called Visions to see if I could return and I was told absolutely NO. They apparently like to take your money and provide no customer service. I would suggest you buy these items at other retailers that will provide the customer service in order to keep you as a customer.
