The worst customer experience of my life.
I purchased a Refurbished TV online on 2023-12-20.
Product received on 2023-12-27. Beaten up / taped up box. 50+ clusters of dead pixels or what appears like dirt stuck behind the panel. Bottom right visual issues, bent leg. I contacted the company the very same day, as they have an extremely strict policy where they will reject all claims made past 24h upon receiving a product.
They never replied.
I wrote again on 2024-01-08, this time threatening to file a credit card chargeback.
No reply.
Credit card chargeback filed on 2024-01-15.
On 2024-01-29, Visions replied with a mere pre-written email template claiming I could return the TV (800km drive for me), or ask for a refund, but I'm responsible for sending it back (how?) and I may be charged shipping fees at their discretion. The template never addressed the claims I made in my previous 2 emails, nor did it apologize for any inconvenience. Their email was also sent more than 30 days after my first email to them, which is past their own return period.
On this same day, I called my bank to inquire as to what to do.
On 2024-02-09, my bank called back, we discussed the situation, we agreed Visions was at fault, and the chargeback claim went ahead.
Visions fought back against the claim yet still never tried to contact me to resolve the situation. Based on the same data I had provided my bank, the chargeback claim was ultimately rejected on 2024-03-19, because I still have the product.
On that same day, I then called Visions. This time (of all the times I tried calling), someone answers and says they will look into the situation and get back to me.
On 2024-03-20 (today), I received an email from Visions where I can find my own box and bubble wrap, am responsible for preventing any further damages, and they will refund me upon receiving and inspecting the TV. No mention of an exchange, no proposal of sending me a replacement first so I can send the broken TV back in a proper box.
I stand here today befuddled. Never in my entire life have I gone through such experience. From the very beginning I have communicated proactively. I received a faulty product (which being refurbished, should have been quality tested twice), which is Visions’ fault. I never heard back for more than 30 days. When I finally did, a chargeback request was ongoing, and ultimately, I stand here 3 months after ordering and I’m down over 1k and stuck with a broken TV.
I will not stop fighting until this is resolved, but the countless hours, the anxiety and angst can never be fully compensated.
STAY AWAY.

Stereo Install Scam
1. Visions does not have a blanket stereo installation price. If you call around to their other stores and ask for a price on installing the same stereo you will get prices from $228, 348 to $438. The install takes 30 minutes.
2. Single DIM car stereo install is about $108. Single DIN means the stereo is 2" high, a double DIN is 4" high. A Double DIN install is about $238. Those are the cheapest rates I could find in all their stores. The issue is although the 'advertised car stereo' is listed as a single DIN with a floating 7" monitor, the installers will charge you for a double DIN - TOTAL SCAM as the harness is 2".
Recommendation: Don't let them install anything!

I bought 2 tvs on Dec 21, they were delivered on Dec 27, but one of them was damaged. I emailed them within a few hours of receiving it to inform them since they only give 24 hours to report issues. They replied on Dec 30 requesting pictures, I sent everything they requested on Dec 31. They did not reply again until January 10, asking me if I would like "a replacement or refund for the damaged unit." I said I wanted a replacement, and followed up with them 4-5 times since then and have not received any reply from them. I paid $418 for broken merchandise.

Nov 2022 we had the screen fixed under warranty
Oct 2023 the tv will not turn on, called Visions to have it fixed again and was told we used warranty once and that is no longer under warranty.
We purchased the tv in good faith and added warranty for an extra $180.00
Having a one and done warranty provides very limited service and is deceiving.

The next 2 emails I received were to inform me that it was my fault and any claim I had was denied. Further stated that the first email I received was from a trainee and was meant for a different customer. I asked them to send out a technician and show me were I allegedly damaged the TV, denied.
An expensive lesson, $1013.60, and that purchase will be headed to the landfill shortly.
Never again will I shop at Visions!
Proscan 75" 4K Ultra HD UDR10 webOS
I purchased a Proscan 75" 4K Ultra HD UDR10 webOS on Dec 25th but was sent a defective TV. The TV was returned and after much back and forth with the company. Visions Electronics has sent a replacement TV which was broken on arrival. As I have been in and out of time in the week leading up to Easter I could get to setting up the TV due to its size and need for more than 1 person set up. On setup the TV yesterday, we discovered we had been sent a TV with a broken screen. This might be a calculated attempt to punish me. Please intervene in this matter.

On the 25th of December, 2022; I ordered Proscan 75" 4K Ultra HD UDR10 webOS Smart TV (PWOSU7545) which arrived on January 13th, 2023 as from AMJ Campbell for your Visions Online delivery.
I observed that every time I turn off the TV; It won't turn back on and I had to power cycle (unplug and plug) to be able to turn it on (have video proof)
Reached out to Vision's Electronic to return and replace the TV; they agreed and arranged the pickup the TV on Feb. 23rd, 2023 through Day & Ross with return tracking number : SCG9753873
Since then Vision electronic has refused to replace or refund the TV despite multiple attempts to reach them. Depriving me both assess to the TV and the money to replace which has significantly affected my mental health.
This is terrible customer service. Is Vision Electronics attempting to rob me of my money? I demand an apology and an explanation and a refund of my money.

I bought a TV from Visions in Victoria, BC Nov 29, 2017. The sales person told me clearly numerous times that the $309.00 warranty insurance would be refunded back to me if their was no claim. I called Mike the Manager at Visions at: Unit 101-2401D Millstream Rd, Victoria, BC who said nothing he can do and call Head office. He was not interested in helping me. I called Customer Service number [protected] and spoke to Afra who listened and then put me through to: Candice at Customer Service /Warranty Manager who said nothing they can do. I am very unhappy and dissatisfied with Visions and felt taken advantage of as I had no reason to doubt the advice I was given by the salesperson. Candice had no interest in helping me and referred to Policy. I trusted Visions and they have let me down. Their is NO CHANCE I would have bought the warranty if I wasnt getting the full money back because now it means I have to spend $600 more to get my $300 back. I would 100% not have gone for this. TV Installations
Hi There,
I had three TV's installed by your lead technician Aaron, & two of the installations did not go well at all. Below is a brief synopsis:
1. Main floor/family room(85 inch Samsung QLED) - During the walkthrough I was informed that the chances of damaging the wall tiles is .0001%; however it turned out to be contrary, meaning my expensive wall tiles were chipped. Secondly, the technician had to drill 4 extra holes, because he did not use stud finder to locate the studs before drilling the first 4 holes. My tiles are very expensive & I will have to get them fixed sooner or later.
2. Theatre room (86 inch LG) - The TV was not centered & it was almost 6 inches off from one side. This was later corrected, however technician had to drill extra holes. The wrong holes were patched, but obviously I will have to take care of the painting part.
Aaron is a nice guy, & he admits the above two mistakes. To my understanding he is the best guy & that was the reason I paid top dollars for my installs.
Kindly please assist with the compensation, as I am a loyal customer of Visions & have given several referrals to Surrey location.

Ice maker machine
I have returned an Ice maker machine for refund. After severals calls, by the way no mather what time you call a message says there's a minimum waiting time of 11 minutes, and after 20 minutes of waiting the line cuts, so I have tried many time in a same day and I finally spoke with Jeremy and asked him about the situation for my refund and he told me that he was going to take care of it later that day. That was 13 days ago and still no refund. The unit was received in their warehouse on Nov.1st.. Today, DEC.19th, first thing I did, I called at opening hour, the line has been cut 3 times so far but I won't give up until I speak to someone.

Level of customer service.
I recently made a purchase online for a drone. When the product arrived it was clear that the item in question was in fact a open and used drone with dead batteries in the remote and a damaged box that was taped together. I immediately notified customer service of my problem and was told I could return the product for a refund or a replacement. After choosing to have a replacement for the product, I sent it back only to have my order canceled and a refund instead of the replacement was then issued. After a further inquiry I was told that there were none available so I was issued a refund, but looking again online there were a few at other locations that could have been used as a replacement.
I received no apology for the used product originally sent or any explanation as to why it was already open and sent in place of a new product. Then after canceling the order I was no longer able to order a new one and was forced to take my business elsewhere. The level of customer service was not well received, as I essentially waited weeks only to receive a used product and then just receiving a refund in the end so a complete waste of my time. My ticket # was (162970), Unfortunately I don't believe I will be shopping with Vison's in the future given my experience. Warranty service
On 06/20/2020 I purchased a Samsung dryer through Visions. I also purchased a 4 year warranty at time of purchase. On 10/24/2022 the dryer ceased heating. I contacted the customer service department and was given the name of a repair company to call. When I called them they told me they no longer had a Samsung technician. I called customer service again and was told another company would call me. I never received a call and ended up calling Customer Service a third time and was given the name of another repair company to call. Finally on November 1 a technician came to look at the machine. He took it apart, determined what was wrong and reassembled it. He told me he had to submit an estimate for approval before he could move ahead with the repair. Apparently the estimate was finally submitted to Visions on November 3. I phoned a number of times to find out the status of my warranty claim. Finally when I called them 11/21/2022 I was told that they would not repair the dryer and the store would be contacted. I would be offered a suitable replacement or would have credit for what I paid for the dryer. As of today 11/30/2022 I have heard nothing. I have now been without a dryer for 5 weeks! This is totally inconvenient and unsatisfactory. The warranty is worthless nd the service is pathetic. I will not be purchasing from Visions in the future.
Desired outcome: I would just like my money immediately refunded so i can purchase a dryer elsewhere. I need one immediately!

Unfortunately I did not get extended warranty on the TV. I hard issue with within the 1yr plus. I came to d the store and laid a complain and I was told to bring it over since January 2022. Your policy is a complete scam I had a TV delivered to my home had no damage to the curtain no visible damage to any kind of packaging as this was a gift for somebody we stored it in a closet when nobody could access it and then and then we bring it out three days later and find that it’s damaged after repeatedly calling them and asking them for assistance with this and forgiveness for whatever happened he just kept digging deeper and deeper to find reasons not to replace the TV now this was at $1100 spent for something that I can’t even use and it’s gonna cost $900 just for the glass alone big company that like that they should be taking care of their customers and not pushing them away I bought three items there and they will never be a fourth
