Real Canadian Superstore

Hello,

My name is S. I got a VISA gift card from my work place (medical clinic) on July 29, 2021. It was around $250 and purchased at Superstore Kingsway 11541 Kingsway NW, Edmonton, AB T5G 3E8. It was paid by cash. The nurse who bought this unfortunately did not keep the receipt as we always buy a pre-paid gift card and give to employees without any issues. I tried to use it today but it got declined. I called pre-paid VISA and I was told that cash holder service did not run this card. Purchase had made around July 27-28. It is not small amount money but very sad that it happened. Does it mean superstore just take money by making a mistake? I just file the complaint as I am very frustrated as it never happened before and at any other places. I would appreciate if someone can get back to me. Thanks.

I was walking into the store, and 2 large men where hassling three young girls. I watched from afar for 10 mins. the black man was pushing one of the girls. the brown man telling them to lower their voices. Non of the girls were swearing. the men where aggressive. So I stepped in to see what was going on, as these two men where being hostel. then all of a sudden I'm being accused of helping these shop lifters. and Now they are calling the police on me.

they held me for 30 mins at the front door, and the black man is now pushing me around. Yelling at me, telling me they are calling the police. I told them they could as I did nothing wrong. No police showed up. I told them I would stand in between two men without thinking about it every day all day long. I've never been treated so badly.

I have looked at my Liability under my property insurance coverage. I am calling insurance. This is not right and I am shaking, this happened 4 hours ago. About 8:30 on July 25 2019. Or should I just directly to a lawyer ?

I just returned from the superstore. I had to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy, which is the only well run department in the whole store. I intended to pick up some other items but as usual since they closed down all the quick checkout I noticed that all the five opened checkouts had at least three customers with full cart waiting in line. I left my basket in the aisle and went home, not wanting to wait fifteen or twenty minutes to buy five items. I strongly believe that if they wanted my business they wouldn't be constantly making shopping there a frustrating chore. Their alternative to fast checkouts is for me to do their jobs by using there self checkouts which I find extremely insulting of them. The small savings they offer aren't worth doing their jobs for them. It's already bad enough that they offer no way to keep the bags open when I have to pack them myself. Anyone who doesn't have a bank card or credit card can't use these self checkouts anyways. I don't use bank card to buy mainly because I object to paying a fee to use my own money. I used to shop at that store regularly but the level of service has deteriorated continuously the last six months. I have already cut up my points card and my pc mastercard because of constant problems with them. The frustration levels of repeated blank looks from staff whenever I had a problem left me very stressed out. Five times in a two month period I had to waste time going to customer service because even though I scanned my card for points I got none and had to go to get it from customer service. They proved time after time that customer and service doesn't come within shouting distance of one another at this location. Most of what I used to buy from them I now get from walmart. I give them minus five stars.
