My daughter recently visited store 250 at 628 Burnhamthorpe Rd in Mississauga, ON.
She went for an oil change and came out with an almost $700 bill for services she was told she needed.
After leaving, she called me in tears because she says she felt as though she were taken advantage of. I believe that this was and is the case.
I called the store manager, who said they did nothing wrong and explained everything to the customer. I can assure you she had no idea what they were selling her. Transaxle/final drive pkg being twice the cost of the oil change and definitely not required.
They claimed that she was on the phone with someone to consult. It was her mother, who she was asking for money to cover the cost of what she was told she "needed".
The Customer Experience Manager contacted me via email after I complained and said that he saw nothing wrong with this and that they are a for-profit business.
I would not trust this "business" with any of my vehicles now or in the future.
Desired outcome: Refund for excessive services, apology and review by corporate offices into your sales and business model

The exact same happened to my son. They took advantage of him and lied about services needed. I had to pay over $600. The manager at the Newmarket location was rude and offensive when I called to say my truck did not need all of the many things they added on. I can’t believe customers are allowed to be treated like that. Beware. Do not go to the Mr Lube in Newmarket they are scammers and incredibly disrespectful.
