Mr. Lube Canada - Mistaken drained transmission fluid with engine oil change - causing damage

- I drove my car to the nearest Mr. Lube location for a engine oil change. After the oil change the engine won't start, when they made it start again the engine viberate with blackdrive smoke emission. They said they over filled due to mis-communication so I need to burn the extra oil then it will be fine. After half an hour they told it's ok and I can drive away. But with only 200 meters, the transmission is slippery and finally won't shift. The transmission fluid light is on! After several attempt restart the engine I can barely move the car with less than 10km and back to Mr. Lube. The manager turned angry as I took their spot and can't serving next car. After 20 mins they said its ok to drive now but the transmission fluid light is still on. The manager used a light reset device to put the light off.
- Called my car merchanic and based on their experience the service guy has mistaken drained transmission fluid which the cap is located very close to the engine oil cap. If that is the case, I should let them fill the correct transmission fluid to prevent further damage to the gear box.
- Mr. Nav (The manager) denied they made a mistake and told me if they did I can't even drive the car out ( which is not true : a car can still move without transmission fluid, but will fail to shift afterward). To prove that they guide me to their under-ground and open the guard cover to show me it has left over oil on the engine oil cap. The mechanic said the transmission fluid is located at the back of the car (he lied since its very close to the engine oil and they share the same compartment) The manager further push me to leave without even fully put back all these screws, some screws dropped under the cage.
- Certified merchanic evaluated gear box damage and engine worn. The car can stop any time with unfilled or non- standard transmission oil. Risks to passenger's life while car use to ride children very often.
