2015 pathfinder
Hi there, I am very disappointed in our sales guys at Canada drives. My wife and myself were under the impression our 2015 pathfinder had 4wd and when it showed up it was 2wd. Also there was a pinstripe on the vehicle that you could not see in the images that was put on to cover a deep scratch in the paint from front to rear bumper. And lastly it only came with 1 key fob for the vehicle. We have tried contacting the sales department as well as complaints department but nobody would return our calls and we were ignored. Pretty sad this is the way with a vehicle with only 15000km on it. At least a call could have been returned to discuss this matter.
Scam scam scam, use your data without your permission
Scam Scam Scam
Stay away from this company.
when you fill up the application form, even you do not enter your social insurance number still they can pull up your credit score.
I fill up Online application, as I submit within one minute I receive call back from Canada drive executive. I first mention on call that you pull up my credit score? they say we send your file to the dealer and they pull up. at the same time on the phone I mention please cancel my application. after 10 days I check my credit score it's showing some dealer pull up my credit score. when I called they told me Canada drive forward my information.
I call but every time they say there is in terms and condition you agree that we can forward your information to the third party and they can pull up your credit score.
Stay away this company uses your information.
I also checked a vehicle for sale on Canada Drives website and got a call pre approved for up to 15.000. It's all a scam but was wondering if anybody else started to recieve those robot calls after taking to Canada Drives. The one saying your sin number and your going to be arrested. My friend also talked to canzd a drives and he also started to recieve the same calls. I believe there company is based out of ontario. They also own Easy Financial and. Spring financial . Stay away from all 3. 46 % average. And I believe they are the scammers behind the CRA FRAUD IN BC
Thanks for sharing, and everyone should be aware of the impact on their credit. Every time an application is put through for a loan it will be reported on your credit bureau. However, any one inquiry will make little impact to your credit score and paying off a loan with us will improve your credit score so you can get better rates in the future. Thanks!
Unethical behavior
Canada dives is branch/finger of easy fianacial services. First they'll talk you into (Very aggressively) a short term loan to build up your credit, and also very aggressively try to tack on extras such a credit report company and home/auto insurance then they sell it easy financial, who charge 30% interest. But once you fullfill your obligation to easy financial and apply for a substantial loan to buy your car, they turn you down. This is after you demonstrated that can meet financial obligations responsibly. They just took a substantial amount (30%) out of your pocket and run, sucker!
Don' t deal with either of them unless you like throwing money away!
Same here this employee he's kinda aggresive to me.
I explained my financial sitauation to one of the employee, I refused the offer but this guy he's pushing me to accpet the loan and he's so judgy with my situation.
Im kinda offended with his words to be honest.
I really regret I contact them. I wish I didn't! :(
Im really disappointed reaching them out.
Selling my identity
They have my bank account information they called me after applying for a lone.. And offer me a lone. But after my information. I started getting really nasty dangerous call. Like I was getting warn from my this call is very dangerous people. Then calls saying scams. Then dept collators. I don't owe a penny.. I run the numbers through the internet. Others claiming black mail. There demanding drug and threats if not delivered. Like the list goes on. I just got a new number. No one has it. When getting new phone. Was getting sales calls so number was changed. These are very bad people and put lives in danger. She told me they are in vancouver. But there area code is toronto. But she still claims she is in vancouver.
Stop calling me.
A rep from canada drives called me to ask if I wanted to purchase a car.
I then told them at that time I was not interested.
Since then, I have received numerous phone calls left on my voice mail.
I have tried calling the number that they said to call - and what I get are hangups. I tried calling to ask if they could take me off their call list.
However, I have not been successful.
This constant leaving a message on my vm by an automated message asking me to call the number they have given me, is a great irritant.
I have put a report that it is spam,
I have tried calling them
I have tried blocking the number (Which thankfully stops my phone from ringing when they call - however unfortunately it goes to my voice mail still)
Please tell them to stop.
Canada Drives is a lead generator for dealerships that will charge you interest rates comparable to payday loan companies. Don't contact them and don't give them your info or they'll keep calling you for years.
Unethical and rude behaviour
1/13/2017
In july of 2016 I mistakenly submitted general information to canada drives website thinking it was something else (My mistake). I was in the market to purchase a car and was looking for different finance rates and must have stumbled onto their site by accident. Anyways shortly after... A sales rep contacted me and I very politely said it was a mistake and I wasn't interested. For about 2 weeks after I continued to get phone calls and subsequent emails offering their services and I ignored them until finally they stopped reaching out to me all together. Until...
About 30 mins ago I received a phone call telling me that I have pre qualified for a $15, 000 loan. I have recently been talking with a financial adviser and looking for different ways to invest my savings so I thought it was something to do with that. To be clear I have a great job, zero credit card dept or student loans, pay all my bills and rent on time with a great full time salary job... So I coulnt be less interested in a loan at this time or need one in anyway..
Once I realised that this was not my bank calling and was this company that I hadnt heard from in months I once again politely let them know I didnt need a loan and was not interested.
This is when the sales rep became very rude and un ethical. He told me that he had done a credit check on me and my score was not good at all and that I needed this loan to help my credit. I knew that I had never given anybody my sin number which is required to do a credit check so I knew he was lying to me. I asked him to remove any information they had on me (Phone numbers, e-mail addresses) and he said no! Who says that? He then kept trying to convince me that my credit was bad and that even if I thought it was good that it wasnt all just to get me to sign up for a loan. This company clearly encouraged their sales reps to lie to and scare people into signing up for these loans... Brutal
I have read a bunch of bad reviews and complaints now about this company but wanted to tell my story because I don't have any reason at all to get a loan and really had no interest in one and they were willing to lie to me and scare me into doing it... Even after I said I was not interested.
So for the people that are saying they are just trying to help people that have bad credit are full of it and work for the company in some way
Sooo many people are reporting very nice sales reps at first that flip a switch when you refuse their services.. Get a real job and stop praying on the weak!
3 phone calls daily leaving automated messages
I thought that Canada Drives may be an option for me. I submitted an application and someone called me from their personal cell phone with all the application details. I was very concerned as he said he works for them from home, is this person licensed in any way? They have access to all my information. From the pressure tactics I could tell I wasn't going to use the service. I went to a dealership who got me a very low rate on a new car, had I known my credit was OK I never would have contacted Canada drives. I explained to the salesperson from Canada Drives that I had already purchased a new vehicle elsewhere, plus he was trying to sell me on a car I didn't want...I wanted a Ford Flex and they didn't have access to the one I wanted, so tried to sell me a Dodge Journey...So we went our separate ways. Since then every day I get automated phone calls from them filling up my answering machine, even if I block the call still goes to VM. now they send VM to VM without even calling you a direct message if you blocked the number. I am beyond frustrated. They will not stop, basically they just don't give a crap. If you don't use them they will try and make your life hell. Plus they are just a service who sells your information to the highest bidder. The safety of your personal information is in jeopardy. Personal cell phones and computers can provide no corporate level of security for my information, is not encrypted and anyone they deem fit has access to it. BEWARE
I called them and said, can you please take me off the call list. They asked are you sure you're not interested in a car or small loan? And I said no. They said ok and now we will see if I ever get abouther call.
Credit rebuilding
I was offer by refresh financial for rebuilt my credit history and get a car loan They took 47 $ every 2 weeks on my account they said it will last for 3 months payments. They also told me it was secured loan. When I lost my job last april 2016 I decided to contact them and want it to cancel and stop it. What they did is harrassing me and now saying I need...

Do not use their services!
I applied to get funding through Canada Drives as an alternative thinking my credit was worse than what it was. I thought I would be able to buy a truck from a private sale through their financing. I was wrong. They work with many dealerships to find you a vehicle and even negotiate the price for you. I was being helped by a fellow named Alex who was very friendly and helpful. I provided my information to him to beginning the process. He said that one of the benefits was that it would only count as a single mark against my credit while they look for financing through multiple different sources. That was a lie and I ended up with a few checks on my credit.
While Alex was looking for vehicles and getting my financing figured out, I bought a truck from a major dealership with a regular loan through a bank. I contacted Alex to let know and thank him for his services. Then a month later I started getting daily calls, sometimes multiple calls, while I was at work and couldn't answer. I finally answer their call today and it was just them trying to offer me credit building services. I said I wasn't interested and asked to be removed off their call list. This rep got pushy and rude and said I didn't even hear about their services. I repeated my request and he starting forcefully asking if I was improving my credit and how. I asked for his name or ID number after how rudely he had been acting. He said that he didn't have an ID number and if he did that he wouldn't give it to me. Personally, I would never deal of any company that treats potential clients like this. Could you imagine being their client and having an issue with them? It would be hell!
Do not consider using their services unless they are your last last last resort.
Unethical behaviour... Pushiness
About a year ago I was searching online for a car loan for those with bad credit. I was contacted by Canada Drives but decided to go elsewhere for a loan. During the following months, I would get numerous phone calls from this company still inquiring whether I would like to apply as I was pre-qualified for a loan. I kindly declined. Following my decline, they called me still to offer me a personal loan. Again, I declined. I would still receive phone calls from them until finally I decided to see how much I would get approved. I started an application providing the information required but during this process I started to see some red flags. Prior to signing an agreement they had requested 4 personal references and 1 to verify my employment. They had called the personal references but not my employer. I was told that they needed to verify my employment and income so that I could pay back the loan. Also they requested a void cheque prior to me signing an agreement. I received a phone call saying that I had been approved but I confirmed with my employer that they had not called. I found that strange.
The next step was then to speak to a funding manager. In speaking with the funding manager, they had told me the amount I was approved and the amount to pay back the loan. Keep in mind that the reason I was inquiring for a loan was for consolidation purposes. The debt I was carrying was about $10, 000. The amount I was approved for was $1500 and my payment was for about $250/month or as they sugar coated it $125/biweekly. APR was about 40%!
So let's take a look at this...I needed a loan to pay off my existing debt and to pay only one payment a month. This is not what this company offers. Instead, what they do is lend you money and then you make monthly payments to pay it back and they report this payment to the credit bureau. Yes, this can help you with your credit history/score but for a person who is carrying a high debt load to add another monthly payment does not make any sense. Don't get me wrong, this program might work but I was not interested in adding more debt then I could already handle.
After finding out how much I was approved for I asked the question about what happens when I have paid back the amount. The rep politely said excuse me but my computer is freezing...put me on a 10 sec hold and forwarded me to another funding manager. I believe they had forwarded me to someone who had more experience in dealing with customers that have more questions or that were on to the scheme of things.
So this is where I was dissatisfied with this company. Now I was speaking to a second funding manager. Who reiterated what the first funding manager advised me but in a silly talk show host voice "Congratulations you have been approved". LOL He reiterated my amount approved and the amount to pay back. I politely declined. He tried to reel me back in and the talk show host voice disappeared real quick after this point. He was trying to convince me that I didn't properly understand that this could positively improve my credit score faster than I have been myself. I explained to him that I completely understood and at this time I would not like to proceed. We went around again, he said that I didn't understand properly. Again, I reiterated that I did. I politely declined and then he asked me why I would apply to get a $10, 000 loan and not accept the amount that was given to me. He tried to say he could revise the amounts lower and said you could take $500 to keep in the bank and use that money to make the payments. He went on to say your score is so bad you are never going to improve it or get approved anywhere and that it is less than a person starting out. At this point, I felt it wasn't even to help me improve my credit but it was to just sign me up. No thank you...not for me.
So to conclude, if you are looking to add another payment to your debt load to use it as a tool to improve your credit score maybe this will work for you. I haven't seen any proof though that they report to the bureaus.
My opinion of this company at first was that they were helpful but quickly turned sour once the funding manager was trying to force me to commit to something that I wasn't looking for.
I explained my financial sitauation to one of the employee, I refused the offer but this guy he's pushing me to accpet the loan and he's so judgy with my situaion.
Im kinda offended with his words to be honest.
I really regret I contact them. I wish I didn't! :(
Im really disappointed reaching them out.
Refresh financial
Canada Drives/Refresh Financial (same People) honed in on my mentally ill sister. Through their facade Refresh Financial, they convinced her that they were giving her a loan and she gave them ALL of her private banking passwords! I overheard the conversation and took over the phone and told them no thanks. Their weird 'program' consists of them taking hundreds of dollars from your account, and then by going through with this, you are proving that you can pay your debts and magically, banks will start offering you credit. It's a complete scam. And if you were to speak to my sister, it would be like speaking to a 10 year old. I can't believe that they are so ruthless that they go after people with mental imparements.
My sister lives of a very meager amount each month from ODSP (government disability ).
So I have changed all of my sister's banking passwords, but am still left with alot of anxiety that when my sister's disability money comes in next month, Canada Drives /Refresh Financial will still find a way to get into her bank account.
Terrible
I was put on worker compensation the end of nov ..I had been with refresh for 10 months and all was good until I got hurt at work . I tryed to use the insurance that they said came with the loan or so called reverse loan but it never went through . They kept taking money even after I told them I had been off work with a jury . I then canceled the loan only to find out all the money I put into this loan was going to be held for fee's that I wasn't told about . The person I was on the phone told me that I was told all about it when I agreed to the loan but had no idea what they were talking about . They then sent me what they called the long form and it said that I was in a 3 year contract and when it was done I would get 17 hundred dollars out of the 34 hundred I payed in if I went full term . So basically I'm out 1023 dollars and they come out looking like kings .. to all that is reading take my advice and stay away from this company ... they will take until there is nothing left to take and when your done you will be no farther ahead then you are now . It might take longer but look into a high interest saving accounts at your bank ..it will be safer and if things get ruff you can always get you money out

Unauthorized calls
I was in touch with someone from this company and then I found out, just in time, that this was a scam, preying on people with bad credit. I then received a text from said individual saying that she knew I had received a bad rate on a car and had commented with an LOL. I had recently purchased from a dealer other than Canada Drives.
Now I constantly get calls from this company trying to sell me rates and vehicles. I am not interested, they seemed so willing to sell me on the fact that I would get good rates and a good vehicle, affordable as well. They were not able to follow through in time, and I decided to go with a reputable, local used dealership selling vehicles, with a reasonable rate given my financial circumstances.
Don't deal with these people I decided to get a loan elsewhere and they won't stop calling me sometimes 3 times a day even when I told them that I refuse to deal with themAWAY !
I'm having the same problem with them. I told the person who called, I have epilepsy, I don't drive, I've never heard of them, and certainly never filled out any applications with them.
I get three calls a day from them still.
When the person did call, he had way too much of my personal information already.
I have no idea where to go with this.
Phone call
This company refresh financial seems like a scam. Where do I start! First I was trying to apply for car dealerships and applying and put my information into a small ad I seen while looking at dealerships. They called me very frequently! I kept telling them to call me back because I already found a dealership and was in the process of getting approved, so I really didn't hear or take the time to listen to what exactly they did. After I was approved for the company I was already working with, they called me a couple more times and I took the time to listen to Marie on the phone. Mary was a little trickster. I know I applied for a car l o a n why is this now Refresh financial? A credit rebuilding company? My credit isn't that bad and I didn't send my information to a credit building company. Anyway at first what she was saying sounded okay. She said I would make a bi weekly payment of $46 and at the end of 3 years I would get back $1750. Basically, I am magically instantly approved for a $2300 l o a n ( I can't send the review without deleting that work funny huh) with them that stays in the bank and can't be touch one bit and I would make those payments and they would report perfect repayments and make my credit score go up 5-25 points a month. Okay...sounded great! But while about to fully sign up my phone died while talking to her and it was already late. The next day after some thinking the girl surprisingly called me back early in the morning to continue the call. Pretty persistent, she had a way of swaying me with her words and she was pretty good. She sent me a text message to log into my online banking so it would automatically tell her my last three digits in my account number. I thought that was not secure at all with my personal information so I told her I'd send the information of my account transit number and checking account number. She told me she doesn't want the numbers she needs actual proof of it, all the while wanting to stay on the phone while looking for all these things to give her. I found that pretty annoying. I wanted time to think since my impression of her sounded kind of caniving. She did not want to come off the phone with me. I hung up because I couldn't bother anymore with the foolishness and she called me back three times and I didn't answer. This is the text her rude ### sent to me...Hey My Name,
Not very sure as to why you wasted my damn time in putting together your application, if you did not want to rebuild your credit you could have just told me you are not interested. If you still want to proceed, we do require your banking we cannot just write down any transit number or account number, we need legitimate documents like a void check that has your name on it other wise we cannot verify that you (My name) have an account with CIBC for all we know we are taking these $46 bi-weekly payments from someone else's account, please respond to this message and let me know where we stand so that I know what to do with your application. Thanks.

Rude ### little b****! Are you working that hard for your commission?!?! I called to speak to her manager and up until now not one person has answered or called me back. They are a scam and you need to stay very far!
Scam-100% They call me 3 times a day with a preprogrammed message to call Sarah. I called once, informed them I was not interested in their service and thought that was it. Now three times a day for several months they call and leave the same message over and over.
Since there are no consumer products to protect us from scammers except call blockers, though they still allow the scammers to leave a message, I wish there was some annoyed hackers that could spike companies like this when undue harrasment is present. For now I treat the constant messages like mosquitos. A nuicance and I pray they get their own B.S. one day to compound the grief they put on everyone else. Universal balance.
Rude sales person
we were shopping around for a new truck and because we've been students for so long we figured it might be hard to get a good rate at a dealer, so we checked this place out. He communicated via text and we were clear on what we wanted. Since a truck is a big purchase I wasn't going to settle for something I didn't like/want. He showed us pretty much everything we told him we didn't want.
We ended getting a much better deal at a GM dealer, so I texted him to let him know we were no longer interested. That's when our sales person's true colours emerged.
He told us he had long given up on us, "your expectations are unreasonable and your zero respect for someone who bends over backwards to accommodate. There is no shortage of customers and there is no shortage of dealerships for you to go buy from. I mean this in the nicest way possible, go waste someone else's time we are way too busy to deal with this type of process again."
I was so shocked by this, since he had been so friendly. He then accused us of telling him to buy a certain truck for us, then backing out, which did not happen. I told him I wanted to speak to someone about his rudeness, and he gave me their name and numbers saying they're expecting my call. He seemed confident that they wouldn't care either.
If this is what this company is like, I'm glad I dodged a bullet! And I'll make sure to tell my story to anyone I hear is thinking about going with them.
This was a sales person in Calgary, AB.
Scam
Is CanadaDrives.ca a scam? When you have bad credit there is a plethora of choices out there. Or is there?. Most dealerships really only have one or two lenders to offer you a high interest loan on a car. Canada Drives is simply a website that takes your personal information and sells it to the highest bidder in your area. Application are sold from $85 to...
